Well that's over and done with. The weekend that was, or wasn't, or was. I'm confused. This past weekend, we went to downtown St. Paul to catch a monthly event that I had never been to but the Melanie had. Roller Derby!!!What is roller derby? Well, unless you actually go and see it, or you've seen the Elliot Page movie "Whip It" you probably know what it is. Other than that, it's kind of hard to explain without physically witnessing it. See, there's this group of girls right, preventing another group of girls from getting around the track. If one of the groups, called a jammer, escapes that blockage and gets around, she scores a bunch of points. If you're genuinely curious, the Minnesota Roller Derby has a website. But why the episode title? Well, because a certain restaurant in downtown St. Paul shall never be visited ever again, thanks to their inability to operate like a normal restaurant. Details within this episode. Sorry for the rant, but you'd have to have been there understand how frustrating these first world problems really were. Also, we love "The Loon Cafe"!This episode contains a "Doggies in the News" segment too, about a pup that was reunited with its homeless owner, and the shelter went above and beyond to help the owner too!Find us on the gram or on Facbeook!

This episode is all about intuition and staying emotionally well in a judgemental world, with judgemental people. It's about staying true to you because when we live inauthentic to ourselves it creates an inner war within which leads to outer wars, trauma and so forth. I also talk about the witch wound and red flags with people. As well as covid and vaccine division. How we have to keep listening to our intuition and have a lot of discernment with anyone that doesn't want us to do so. Aimed at women who want it all and wanna feel damn good about themselves. We will talk openly about struggles, the highs and lows of life, sex, family, relationships, emotions, healing, mindset, dreams, spirituality, vulnerability, money, bisexuality and so much more - in fact, nothing is really off the table. If it's holding you back from the life you want we will talk about it. If you wanna feel damn good we need to talk about the real stuff so that's what we are doing here. I believe when we love ourselves our life really transforms in the most beautiful ways and when we don't love ourselves we don't feel enough or fulfilled. This is a podcast to bridge the gap. It's a podcast about feeling good about you, living life in your truth, on your terms.Support the show (https://kirstydee.com/product/the-more-membership-3-months/)
Growing up, aeroplanes were an obsession for Warwick, and he has it on good authority that “airplane” was his first word. He was fortunate enough to grow up flying in his father's plane, in addition to spending time as an Air Cadet, and so he felt entirely comfortable around aviation. In spite of this, he didn't earn his PPL until 2017 when he was in his mid-thirties. The month after his flight test, he partnered with a friend on a Cessna 172 and hasn't looked back. As someone exposed to aviation at an early age, Warwick often wonders why it took him so long to get into it. This is partly why he finds himself getting involved with organizations like COPA and the BC General Aviation Association, to try and connect people who have a passion for aviation with the opportunities available. For over 20 years, Warwick has been the owner of Formula Photographic Inc., a production company specializing in documentary and automotive films. During the pandemic he started the Flying BC podcast and video series as a means to further explore the aviation community. He admits he tends to dive head first into what he's passionate about, and video and photography is how he can best express and share those passions with others. He's currently working on his CPL now, and then will move on to flight instructing, with his long term goal being to open a specialty flying school, and maybe convince someone to let him fly their warbirds! Warwick and the FlyingBC podcast can be found on their website www.flyingbc.com, on Instagram @flyingbritishcolumbia, on Facbeook at Flying BC , Youtube, and all major podcast streaming services.

In this episode, Ramon discusses how brands can still grow without ads, and why it’s important to be not fully reliant on them.Social ads have become a powerful tool to grow brands. For many brands, adding a Facebook pixel and creating retargeting campaigns is the next step after building your website. While this can be an effective way to grow your brand, it’s expensive and puts your business at the mercy of platforms like Facebook.Positioning yourself as a thought leader, and a master of your space can be a more effective way to grow your business long-term, and build brand value.Ramon will discuss how you can position yourself as a brand leader and create a brand that consumers keep on coming back to, not just because of Facebook ads.If you’d like to learn more about Trend and our influencer marketing platform for users and brands visit trend.io. “I think first we have to take a step back and acknowledge that there is a collective grief that is circling the planet right now.” Today, Rev. Karen explores our collective grief, referencing work from founder of grief.com David Kessler, as well as astrologist Laurence Hillman. Grief can be an invitation to explore the dark places within, and sometimes this invitation cannot easily be refused. Now that we are under a statewide stay-at-home order, Rev. Karen is giving her talk as a Facebook livestream. If you’re not already on Facbeook, now is the perfect time to join up, even if only temporarily, and you can watch these livestreams here. Was alles dahinter steckt erfährst du in dieser Episode - hör jetzt rein. Mein Ziel ist es, dass du dir den unnötigen Stress und Unklarheiten im Bezug auf deine Online Präsenz und Reichweite sparen kannst und deshalb schenke ich dir mein neues eBook das "Digital Journey Blackbook". I've been teaching you to be “lazy”, to be a procrastinator, and that is a good thing. Being lazy is going to improve your life. This is a solo Q+A episode featuring 2 questions from listeners. This episode is long but meaty. I lay out my process for getting out of a funk, how I keep my mental state elevated on a daily basis, and more. Question 1: As I was on the train this morning and listening to the Kirk Moore episode, I reflected on a meetup I had last night with an established entrepreneur/digital nomad. I rarely vent, especially about things I'd categorize as negative, but I did mention to her that every now and then I feel discouraged. I try not to, but it's sometimes inevitable to compare yourself to someone else. I don't think it's always a bad thing and I usually label it as something to aspire to be/do rather than be jealous. That word makes me cringe. It was crazy that as soon as I figured I'd inquire about that, Kirk began to speak on this topic. Usually I'll get myself together and remind myself why I'm doing what I'm doing, why my journey is unique, and why I can still succeed. I live by the saying "what's for me is for me." Last night my new friend is the one who got me together and gave me all types of encouragement and inspiration. Do you ever become discouraged? If not anymore, when this did happen to you, how did you usually get back on track? Affirmations? Journaling? Question 2: Do you ever go through funks? If yes, do you have a plan or some type of routine/process you do to help you get out of it? How long did it take you to formulate that process and make it something habitual, rather than just knowing about what you should do, but taking the actual action to do it? Take a listen and let me know what you thought of this episode! Twitter, Facbeook, Instagram: @LisaNicoleBell Show Notes: http://bit.ly/BTBep110
