L'Università degli Studi Roma Tre ha presentato la campagna valoriale triennale “L'Università, per Costituzione.”, un percorso che accompagnerà l'Ateneo dal 2026 al 2028, anno dell'ottantesimo anniversario dell'entrata in vigore della Costituzione italiana. La data scelta richiama il 25 giugno 1946, giorno della prima seduta dell'Assemblea Costituente. La campagna assume come riferimenti centrali gli Articoli 3 e 33 della Costituzione, collegando il ruolo dell'università pubblica ai temi dell'accesso alla conoscenza, del diritto allo studio, dell'inclusione, della libertà della ricerca e dell'insegnamento e del pieno sviluppo della persona. L'iniziativa, moderata dalla giornalista Roberta Serdoz, è stata aperta dal video di presentazione della campagna. Sono intervenuti il Rettore di Roma Tre Massimiliano Fiorucci, il Direttore Generale Alberto Attanasio, la prof.ssa Giovanna Pistorio, docente di Diritto costituzionale, il presidente di DiSCo Lazio Simone Foglio, il rappresentante degli studenti Stefano Barone e le senatrici Ilaria Cucchi, Beatrice Lorenzin e Vincenza Rando. Nel corso dell'incontro è stato letto anche un messaggio del Presidente della Regione Lazio, Francesco Rocca.

Il 29 aprile 2026 si è svolta la cerimonia di intitolazione dell'Aula Magna del Dipartimento di Scienze della Formazione dell'Università Roma Tre a don Roberto Sardelli. Don Roberto Sardelli (1935–2012) è stato un sacerdote ed educatore che ha operato nelle periferie romane, noto per l'esperienza della Scuola 725, fondata negli anni '60 come spazio educativo e di riscatto culturale per persone escluse dai percorsi scolastici tradizionali. Lavoro tecnico a cura di Daniele Muriana.

Elio Fiorucci (1935-2015) è stato il primo stilista italiano a liberare, a partire dalla fine degli anni 60, la moda dall'atmosfera tradizionalista e un po' ingessata della haute couture dell'epoca e a farne qualcosa di pop. Di fatto, l'ha democratizzata, aprendola a tutte le istanze culturali provenienti dalla strada.

Martedì 21 aprile 2026, alle ore 11:30, presso l'Aula Magna del Rettorato dell'Università degli Studi Roma Tre (Via Ostiense 133 - Torre A, piano II), si è tenuta la presentazione del Rapporto 2026 di Amnesty International, uno dei più autorevoli documenti a livello globale sullo stato dei diritti umani. L'iniziativa ha offerto un'occasione di approfondimento e confronto sulle principali tendenze internazionali, analizzando la situazione dei diritti fondamentali in 144 Paesi. Il Rapporto - pubblicato quest'anno per la prima volta da Roma TrE-Press, la casa editrice dell'Ateneo - rappresenta uno strumento essenziale per comprendere le dinamiche contemporanee legate a libertà civili, giustizia sociale e tutela delle persone. L'intervista al Rettore Massimiliano Fiorucci è stata curata da Simone Sellaro, Roma Tre Radio.

In occasione del seminario "Per una educazione sentimentale. Prevenire e contrastare la violenza di genere. In dialogo con Gino Cecchettin", promosso dal Dipartimento di Scienze della Formazione con la collaborazione del MuSEd “Mauro Laeng” e del Gruppo di Lavoro di Ateneo Public History – Public Memories, che si è svolto il 19 febbraio 2026, al Rettore Massimiliano Fiorucci è stata posta la seguente domanda: " L'Università è un luogo fondamentale per contrastare la violenza di genere e sviluppare un'educazione sentimentale diffusa. Questi temi fanno parte dell'azione di Roma Tre verso la sua comunità. Ce ne può parlare?"

In occasione del 25 novembre, la Giornata internazionale per l'eliminazione della violenza contro le donne, l'Università degli Studi Roma Tre ha ospitato un'iniziativa dedicata alla sensibilizzazione e alla lotta contro la violenza di genere.   PULSARS mark the end of that era. Leader Dave Trumfio (vocals, guitar, synths production and most anything else) and his younger brother Harry (drums) grew up playing music in a suburban Chicago basement.  While still in his teens, Dave abandoned college-level music production and engineering studies to focus on songwriting and artist endeavors; his native talents soon found him an apprenticeship at Seagrape Studios working with talents as disparate as house music pioneer Mr Fingers, British first-wave stalwarts The Pretty Things and dub plate sessions with the legendary reggae producer / musician Niney The Observer . . . all within months of his first real go behind the mixing desk. Chicago's past musical glories felt far in the past then, replaced by a sea of skinny tie power pop bands, poofy hair metal combos of some timidity and a few rough-hewn exponents of sub-Buzzcocks punk and Fiorucci-ready new wave.  Ignoring it all, Dave ran a small studio in a shared house he rented with friends before taking the risky - and expensive - plunge into opening a 'real' studio on the northwest corner of Wicker Park, soon to burst into a degree of infamy due to a small contingent of cult heroes who lived there for cheap rent and cheaper bars - Liz Phair, Eleventh Dream Day, Big Black, Urge Overkill, Tortoise et al. Daves role in all of this was minimal by nature; he preferred to record acts from farther afield - Billy Bragg, then-recent Chicago transplants Wilco, The Mekons, Young Marble Giants guitarist and songwriter Stuart Moxham, Barbara Manning, Captain Beefhearts main man Gary Lucas, an array of other acts from Iceland, Australia and all corners of the UK.  Business was good, and it grew.  A quick writer of odd pop ditties, one day Dave called in his brother Harry and recorded - in a single afternoon session - a set of nine demos known.  The story's been related countless times, but within weeks the band was opening for Oasis and found itself being courted by a dozen labels. Their few local shows were undefinable. Dave played guitar and sang, Harry drummed triggered a reel of additional music, often with video backing . . . which dazzled spectators in that pre-laptop era.  After months of negotiations, the band signed a multi-million deal with Almo Sounds, a new label begun by A&M founders Herb Alpert and Jerry Moss and distributed by Geffen.  It was - and likely still is - the largest deal ever offered to an emerging Chicago musical act. The band engaged in numerous tours to support their self-titled debut, playing with Sean Lennon & Cibo Matto, Blur, Supergrass, and many others, as well as seemingly infinite jaunts to Japan, where Dave and Harry were hailed as heroes of subversive minimalist pop - the ecstatic screams of young fans at the first few notes of Submission To The Master& at first bewildering the brothers.  Suddenly, the Almo Sounds deal with Geffen fell apart at the start of a tour supporting then-current sensations Weezer.  Promotion was pulled; radio support for the first single from the album collapsed in a mere moment. On this week's episode of True Crime New England, Katie and Liz dive into the horrific murder of a 15-year-old girl from Barre, Vermont. On October 25th of 2000, DeAndra Fiorucci left her high school with a friend and an older man named Donald Baumgartner. The friend witnessed DeAndra leave to go to a man named Dana Martin's house, and waited for her to return. When hours went by and DeAndra had not returned, this friend went to the police station and reported her missing. The next day, after being grilled by police for hours, Dana Martin brought the police to a bridge where he had discarded DeAndra's body. After representing himself in court, Dana was sentenced to life imprisonment, where he began to grow crazier and crazier. This week we will tell you a different, more personal story, that brings us back to the roaring 1980s, when the right brand was enough to make you feel at peace with the world. The recent bankruptcy of the historic Tuscan brand Rifle and the sad sale of the remaining inventory for a couple euros brings us back a lot of memories to those of us who were going through adolescence in their heyday. Back then some brands were necessary to be considered part of one of the urban tribes that dominated the youth landscape of the time. Those that like myself were branded a "paninaro" dreamed to own Timberland boots, Best Company sweatshirts, Stone Island or Schott jackets. Back then fashion was not all about marketing, though. Behind the brand there was the courage of many entrepreneurs, the genius of fashion icons such as Enrico Coveri or Elio Fiorucci. The sky was the limit for them, who dared to dream big, of world domination. In our complicated times, when even a slight deviation from the dominating ortodoxy can cost you your life, their courage and spirit should be our inspiration to build a better future for our children.
