(32:45) The Stanley Cup Finals has some drama as the Edmonton Oilers have won the last two games after losing the first three, where Game 6 will be in their building to see if they can do the unthinkable. Can they even the series after being down 0-3 and push this to a decisive seventh game? (39:48) MLB has lost a legend and icon. Willie Mays passed away at the age of 93 on Tuesday. I'll detail how much he meant to baseball, the flair and pizzazz he brought to the sport and the lasting impact he had long after his playing days. In light of his death, there'll be a game in Birmingham, AL tonight (where ironically Mays played and was from) between the Giants-Cardinals, honoring the Negro Leagues. I'll take a look at some injuries that the Yankees have sustained (Anthony Rizzo & Aaron Judge) and the return of reigning AL Cy Young award winner, Gerrit Cole. Boomer didn't see any fight in the Giants, particularly in the second half. Boomer said the West Side Highway is like the Hunger Games now. A total free for all on the e-bikes and scooters. Jerry returns for an update and starts with audio of the Giants blowout loss to the Cowboys. Darren Waller talked about moving forward after a game like that. The Niners had no problem with the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Bill Belichick was asked about going for a lot of 4th downs. Sean Payton lost his first game as Head Coach of the Broncos. Jasson Dominguez of the Yankees has a torn UCL. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the 22nd anniversary of 9/11.

Hour 1 The Giants got blown out by the Cowboys 40-0. It was ‘an ass kicking of epic proportions' according to Boomer. Dak Prescott did not throw a TD pass and they still scored 40 points. The Giants offensive line is under fire again, as it has been for what feels like a decade now. Jerry is here for his first update and starts with the sounds of last night's Giants loss to the Cowboys. We heard from Brian Daboll after the game and was asked about the team's effort in the second half. The Niners had no problem taking care of the Steelers in Pittsburgh. A lot of the 1pm games had a pre-season feel. They were sloppy games. Ja'Marr Chase was upset for calling the Browns ‘elves' and then losing to them. The Yankees were no hit through 11 innings but won the game in the 13th. Jasson Dominguez has a torn ucl and he's getting surgery. In the final segment of the hour, we took calls from disgruntled Giants fans. Should Daniel Jones have stayed in the game considering it was a blowout? Hour 2 Today is the 22nd anniversary of 9/11. We also took more calls from angry Giants fans who reminded us that they took Kadarius Toney instead of Micah Parsons. A caller tells us everyone who sucks with the Giants. A sports astrologer calls in and sees leadership energy for Aaron Rodgers through the playoffs and Super Bowl. 1. Week 16 Takeaways Me: The five best teams in the NFL right now imo are the Ravens, 49ers, Chiefs, Saints and Patriots. Yet, there is a very good chance that three of those teams will have to be playing on Wild Card Weekend as opposed to watching it in the comfort of their living rooms. This tells me there is also a stronger-than-usual chance that we will see multiple road teams prevail in the Divisional Round, and perhaps the Conference Championships too. Hal: Bills are a team NOBODY wants to face in the playoffs 2. Truth/Exaggeration -Of all the teams who’ve finished in last place in their respective divisions this season, the Arizona Cardinals are the one in best position to take a sizeable leap forward in 2020 -Unless he gets seriously injured in the College Football Playoff, the Cincinnati Bengals should put Joe Burrow’s name in sharpie on their draft card with the first overall pick -It would be a scandal of monumental proportions if Chandler Jones does not make the NFL all-decade team of the 2010’s -The Texans and Bills should follow the lead of the Vikings and Ravens and rest their key players on Sunday -Michael Thomas’s historic season and the potential HOF career he’s starting to put together should be the ultimate lesson to NFL teams to not make the 40-yard dash the end all/be all of WR evaluations (Thomas ran a 4.57 in the 40) 3. Coaching Carousel/Black Monday -Redskins: Eric Bieniemy, Ron Rivera (who is the better hire? Would you take the job if you were Rivera?) -Giants: Should they fire Pat Shurmur or does Daniel Jones’ development this season warrant continuity? -Falcons: Was it the right decision or wrong decision for them to retain Dan Quinn and Thomas Dimitroff for 2020? -Jaguars: Currently, all signs point to both Doug Marrone AND GM Dave Caldwell surviving. Is that a mistake? -Panthers: Albert Breer reported the Panthers could be interested in Patriots OC Josh McDaniels. What do you think that organization has in place that could lure him away from the Patriots for good? 4. Game of the week: 49ers at Seahawks -Will Russell Wilson likely have to play one of the five best games of his career to date for the Seahawks to pull this one off? -The 49ers are SORELY missing C Weston Richburg, who they lost for the season in their win over the Saints.
