Miracles: Fact or Fairytale? In this episode Dr. Laurito breaks down what a miracle is, and how the modern day church may be using the term too flipantly! How common are miracles? Or maybe a better question to ask, "How common SHOULD miracles be?" That and more on this episode of the Questions of Faith Podcast.

In this episode, we will be talking with Sister Aimee Laurito. Sis. Aimee has served as the Worship Pastor at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God for over 13 years. She is a graduate of Ozark Bible Institute and is known for her anointed singing and speaking. She and her husband have been married for 13 years and are blessed with three sons.

More often than not past offenses are paraded and kept alive by bitterness. What is the purpose of my life? One of, if not the, most profound question to be asked on this podcast! Dr. Laurito does a phenomenal job walking us through this question, and helping us realize that the answer is only one word.
Depression is real, and it is in the church! More than 264 million people suffer from depression worldwide. Of those with major depressive episodes, 63.8% of adults and 70.77% of adolescents had severe impairment. (National Institute of Mental Health, 2017) Chances are very high that you or someone you know suffers from depression. Yet, it is something that is not openly talked about in most Christian circles. We are embarrassed to admit that we have a problem, or we are quick to encourage others to "just pray, and read your Bible more". Depression is deeper than just a spiritual problem and Dr. Laurito wants to help us see that today.

This week we will conclude our two part series on "Hell and Heaven?" by exploring what happens when the Christian dies now, and what is to come at the resurrection. Dr. Laurito asks the listener, "What does heaven mean to you?". This question can reveal to us a lot about our view of God, and our view of His presence.
Hell, what is it? A simple enough question, until you try and answer it. With so many different references and names throughout scripture it can be hard to pin point exactly what it is, what its purpose is, and will become of it. Dr. Laurito address this them in this weeks episode.
What is the anointing? This very "churchy" word can be one that we think we understand. Yet, when asked to explain or define we may have a difficult time doing so. This week Dr. Laurito take us on a journey from the Old Testament through the New exploring this topic and helping us apply it to our life today!
What is the sovereignty of God? Wait, wait! This episode is not boring, we promise! Dr. Laurito dives into the sovereignty of God in free will, and prayer. Once grasped, this concept may have radical changes to how you view God, and the role you play in aligning to His sovereign will.

Gold Nuggets in this Episode: “Most people don't like to step outside their comfort zone, but when you do, it opens your eyes to different things.” “Leaders in any type of organization that are large and effective, they somehow make their people feel a different feeling of importance, attention, that they matter – that it's not just the numbers.” There's not only one formula to be a great leader. “The best entrepreneurs are the ones that have a powerful ‘why'.” As a leader, how you feel reflects in how your team is going to feel. Sometimes, for entrepreneurs that's a lot of pressure – feeling like you can't have a bad day because then your team is going to have a bad day. “You're going to have bad days, but how do you handle it, and do you have a routine that gets you back at least to a neutral spot so you're not walking in with a sour face?” “The key to be a great leader is to be genuine, real, to be yourself, and to care about the people you work with.” “It's very critical to have a routine that you start your day with. It's less important what the routine is, and more important that you have a routine.” Steve and Juliet have written a book. Steve reckons there are still more chapters to write, but Juliet doesn't quite feel the same way. “Being an entrepreneur is tough. It takes a lot of dedication. Maybe you're having a horrible year, those conditions are temporary. If you have that resilience and persistence to keep going, if you truly believe in something and you're passionate about it, then things will turn.” “There's a big difference between being a business owner and being a leader. Just because you are an entrepreneur and you own a business doesn't automatically mean that you are a good leader.” “Motivation gets you going. Discipline keeps you growing.” – John C. Maxwell Our guest is John Laurito CFP, ChFC, CRPC, CEO of The Laurito Group, Keynote speaker, Leadership expert, Author, and Host of the Tomorrow's Leader Podcast. John is a highly successful leader, earning a reputation as a “turnaround expert.” His work speaks for itself: he led the Hartford, CT office of Amiprise from it's ranking of 100th out of 110 up to #1 in the country.
