It's a red, white, and blue week at the parks! Sam and Greg are back for the July 9, 2025, episode of This Week at Walt Disney World with fireworks, construction walls, holiday announcements, and a farewell to two Magic Kingdom classics. https://youtu.be/YZEvNV0IKVw July 2025 Disney World Closures: Liberty Belle & Tom Sawyer Island Two longtime staples of Magic Kingdom have officially taken their final voyages. The Liberty Belle Riverboat and Tom Sawyer Island are now closed to make way for Walt Disney World's newest expansion: Piston Peak and Villains Land. Construction walls have gone up across Frontierland, and if you're riding the monorail, keep your eyes open—early staging work has already begun and is visible. Thanks to @bioreconstruct, we even have aerial images that show the impressive scale of what's coming next. As these classic experiences fade into the past, guests have been spotting a few mysterious new doors around the construction zone. Are they functional? Themed? Or just a bit of Disney magic teasing what's to come? Time will tell. Fourth of July in the Parks No better time to be at Walt Disney World than Independence Day weekend, and Sam and Greg celebrated in true patriotic fashion. https://youtu.be/MPBbbC3hUTM July 2025 Disney World Holiday Season Preview Walt Disney World has released full details for the upcoming 2025 holiday season. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party returns to Magic Kingdom with festive overlays and new entertainment. EPCOT's Festival of the Holidays is also back, bringing seasonal flavors and the Candlelight Processional to World Showcase from November 28 to December 30, 2025. And at Hollywood Studios, Disney Jollywood Nights continues its new holiday tradition with glitz, glam, and retro-inspired fun. Ticket sale dates and event specifics were announced, providing planners with ample time to prepare for the season. Haunted Mansion Merch & Small World Update at Disney World New Haunted Mansion merchandise has materialized across the parks, with spooky styles perfect for any foolish mortal. These items are arriving just in time to celebrate Halloween-in-July vibes, offering apparel, accessories, and collectibles inspired by everyone's favorite ghostly retreat.   And starting July 17, 2025, It's a Small World will debut its emotional final verse. Originally penned by the late Richard Sherman as his last gift to Disney, the verse will premiere as part of Disneyland's 70th celebration and will also be added to the Walt Disney World version of the attraction. Railroad Shuttle & Monsters Inc. Land Construction at Disney World A new phrase is circulating—literally. Guests have begun to notice a "shuttle" operating on the Walt Disney World Railroad. This temporary change allows continued access while construction expands around the train's path, particularly as work intensifies in Frontierland. Over at Hollywood Studios, the staging work for the long-rumored Monsters Inc. Land is moving fast—and it's massive. Cranes and steel are already visible behind the current Pixar Place area, giving us a peek at what might be the next big immersive land. And Don't Forget… The new gold medallions at the Transportation and Ticket Center have caught our eye, adding another small touch of Disney detail. And speaking of touches, the Muppets 70th celebration continues—with even more collectible magnets now available across the parks. It's been a huge week, and we're just getting started. It's been nearly a year since the wake of D23 where we learned that the Rivers of America, the Liberty Belle, and Tom Sawyer Island would be changed out into a new off road Cars experience. The way we learned that news was troublesome--hiding it from the official D23 presentation. But even if they had been more transparent about it, it would still be hard to lose. I've come to terms as I've shared in previous podcasts what's working about what lies ahead for the Rivers of America. I think ultimately it will be a well-received set of experiences when it all comes together. But I couldn't help but be really melancholy about saying goodbye to the river for the last time. I'll share with you what went through my mind, and some of the really wonderful--even sweet memories I have from these attractions. I'll talk about what else is happening currently in both Liberty Square and Frontierland, particularly with the soft reopening of Hall of Presidents, and then I'll end with suggestions of where you can still find the spirit of this experience elsewhere--and it isn't at Disneyland. So stay with us as we bid adieu to The Rivers of America, the Liberty Belle and Tom Sawyer Island.

http://www.attractionchecklist.com - It's time to take a leisurely cruise around the Rivers of America as we head to Magic Kingdom to ride the Liberty Square Riverboat on this episode of Attraction Checklist. Attraction audio recorded on June 6, 2024. TRANSCRIPT: Welcome to Attraction Checklist. This episode we're going to hop aboard the Liberty Belle for a cruise on the Liberty Square Riverboat. The Walt Disney World website describes this attraction saying: Cruise the scenic Rivers of America aboard an authentic steam-powered paddle wheeler.  There are no age or height requirements for this attraction and the thrill level describes the attraction as being a slow ride. Before we shove off, here are five fast facts about the Liberty Square Riverboat in Magic Kingdom. 1. The Liberty Square Riverboat attraction opened at Walt Disney World on October 2, 1971.  The first boat that served was called the Admiral Joe Fowler, named after Joe Fowler who was in charge of construction at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.  In 1973, a second river boat was added named the Richard F. Irvine.  In 1986, that boat was renamed to Liberty Belle which still runs the Rivers of America today.  An interesting note is that the original boat, the Admiral Joe Fowler was damaged in a dry dock incident and was retired in 1980.   2. The Liberty Belle is a steam-powered sternwheeler replica.  Sternwheeler means there is one paddle wheel on the rear or stern of the ship.  A steam engine pulled water from the river to turn into steam to power the paddlewheel. 3.  The Liberty Belle is 47 feet tall and features four decks for guests to visit during the ride. 4. During the 17 minute trip, a narrator, in the in the voice of Mark Twain points out the sights guests see as they travel down the river including an early American settlement, a Native American village and Big Thunder Mountain. 5. The captain on the narration track is named Horace Bixby who was a real riverboat captain who mentored Samuel Clemons aka Mark Twain. Let's head to Liberty Square for a ride on the Liberty Belle.  After the ride audio I'll give you my thoughts on this attraction.  This is a binaural recording so if you have headphone put them on now as we ride Magic Kingdom's Liberty Square Riverboat! Between 200 and 250 people, including candidates in both parties, turned out for Thursday evening's presidential debate watch party at Lakeside Ashland. President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump held their first presidential debate in Atlanta, and it was broadcast on Lakeside Ashland's movie theater. One of the candidates who appeared and spoke to numerous voters last night was Missouri Democratic attorney general nominee Elad Gross, a former assistant attorney general under then-AG Chris Koster. Mr. Gross grew up in University City, a St. Louis suburb. He earned his law degree from Washington University. One of the big issues he's focusing on is puppy mills. Mr. Gross joined us live in-studio on 939 the Eagle's "Wake Up Mid-Missouri", telling listeners that Missouri ranks first in the nation in puppy mills for the 12th year. He notes Missourians approved a proposition at the ballot box aimed at addressing puppy mills, but says the Legislature has weakened that. He brought his dog, Liberty Belle, into the studio with him. Liberty Belle was rescued from a puppy mill and has a broken leg. Counselor Gross also wants to see more action from the Missouri attorney general's office on scammers, noting the amount of elderly and other residents receiving scam calls. He says the attorney general's office needs more staff to investigate scammers. Mr. Gross is also calling for staffing a public corruption unit and restarting the Conservation Division. One of the issues he heard about from several voters in Ashland last night was inflation. Mr. Gross wants to see workable solutions:

Dans What If ? Settled along the Rivers of America, a moment of pause beneath the shade of the Liberty Tree is the perfect place to reflect on the significance of this space. Looking out towards the Rivers of America, the steady churn of the Liberty Belle and her unmistakable whistle remind us of what it takes to breathe life into this American dream. Be resolute and bold. Be consistent and true. Neither this country nor Walt himself ever embarked on a new journey under the illusion that the path that lay ahead would be unencumbered or easy. We stumble, and we get up. We make mistakes, and we correct and learn from them. We reflect on our values and we keep moving forward…as a Nation, as a people, and as dreamers and doers of all ages and walks of life. And so as you wander through the spaces that comprise this foray into the America of “Once Upon a Time,” listen for the sounds that echo through the centuries; the sounds that tell a story of victory and triumph, of failure and loss, of growth and the unwavering hope we have in tomorrow. America is not a fantasy; it's no longer a new frontier. But nestled between those two lands, it is a space to find a moment to pause, a moment to reflect on how far we've come on our journey as a nation, and as individual people, and how much more there still is to learn and discover. Together. And it's in that frame of mind that we find joy, for wherever the path ahead might lead, we can always find our way back Here to this space where Magic is not so much marked by pixie dust as it is by a flag proudly waving in a warm summer breeze. Its broad stripes and bright stars are a beacon of hope, a promise of freedom, and an endeavor to create an even bolder and brighter tomorrow than the one we know today. The American Dream…right Here With the Magic. Welcome to Liberty Square.

Fontaines D.C. have released their new album Skinty Fia, what they have suggested is the final part of an album trilogy, following on 2019's Dogrel and 2020's A Hero's Death, both of which we reviewed on the podcast. Since then the band have been anointed NME's Best Band In The World, have been nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Album, a Brit for Best International Group and an Ivor Novello for Best Album. Skinty Fia truly marks a band apart from the jangly garage rock of Liberty Belle, they have full extracted themselves from their musical origins and in the process have become one of the biggest rock bands around, garnering praise and rave reviews.  In an interview with Rolling Stone, Chatten said Skinty Fia was “largely informed and influenced by Irishness existing in England and mutating and becoming a new kind of culture in general.” Niall and Andrea give their thoughts the album, and talk about the Irishness and culture reflected in Skinty Fia, how Grian Chatten sees Dublin now, the album's sound which largely casts a dour dirgey atmosphere and what we want from a band like Fontaines D.C. Most who explore the tumbleweed town of Frontierland on the opposite shore spare little more than a glance for the landscape beyond, but we who have known its Magic head for the docks at the edge of Thunder Mesa, eager to board a raft headed for the outskirts of Tom Sawyer Island.  There is something spiritual, a palpable shift that happens when we board our river raft and leave the mainland of the Magic Kingdom behind. It is a sense of intentional departure…a quest!  We are embarking on an adventure into the sovereign state of childhood daydreams, where boundless imaginations and inexhaustible summer afternoons meant uninhibited exploration. It is a place where we are invited to remember what it felt like to wonder so expansively, to wander so freely and fearlessly, creating worlds far more rich with possibility than the ones we inhabited.  Arriving at Huck's Landing, we find ourselves standing on an unassuming wooden dock overlooking the sprawling Kingdom beyond. Suddenly, in a place where every detail has not been contrived for us, our imaginations whir into action, imposing context and stirring memories to fill in these very deliberate gaps.  (6:36) Winding pathways and lush, overgrown trees entice our curiosity, and even the steady rainfall could not squelch that delight so reminiscent of youth. Jump in a puddle - we dare you! It's good for the soul. Around Here, a rainy day only adds to the mystery and excitement, and we have a feeling we're about to encounter plenty of both. (8:30) Named for the man who penned the tales of Tom Sawyer and his friends, Fort Langhorne pays tribute to Samuel Longhorn Clemens, more popularly recognized by his pen name: Mark Twain. A fortress accessible only by suspension bridge, Fort Langhorne holds surprises around every corner.  (15:06) Inside the fort, we spot a horse barn and stables, complete with groomers keeping the animals snug and dry inside. But we who are fearless in the face of danger (and puddles) climb to the top of Fort Langhorne, scouting our trail from the lookout points and wending our way back down through the secret escape tunnel.  On our way back and halfway across Superstition Bridge, we are met by breathtaking views of the Magic Kingdom. Here, we catch a  glimpse of how far we've traveled, castaways onto the island of eternal youth.  (29:00) Back on the main island, it seems that Tom and Huck have anticipated the arrival of kindred explorers, and have put up some very helpful sign posts to direct us this way and that. “Barrel Bridge,” “Tom and Hucks Way,” and “The Other Way” leave a lot to the imagination, but as we're guests on the imaginative playground of those two characters, it seems only fitting that we follow their sound advice. Plus, finding a quiet moment to take in a beautiful view is always our inclination, so off to the Barrel Bridge we go! (30:55) A waterside pathway along the Rivers of America, a vista of still more captivating views of Liberty Square and Frontierland stretches out before us. Jutting out into the water and creating the illusion that we are held between one world and the next, this is perhaps the most serene spot in the entire park. We are neither a part of the scene nor disconnected from it. We are simply Here, held in a suspension of disbelief, a suspension of time and reality that engulfs us so entirely in the moment, we might remain for hours or even days without losing a single second. (31:09) As if more tranquility could not be contained in a single space, we stumble upon a waterfall trickling down a hillside, a sort of creek flowing in cadence with the rain, an entrancing sort of elemental rhythm to slow our pace and give us pause. We hear the distant echo of the Liberty Belle setting sail for its sightseeing voyage, and not for the first time today, the image of a life spent blissfully in this riverbank paradise flickers across our minds like a sepia-toned memory of a reality that never was.  (34:00) It is this moment, more than our arrival or any we have experienced so far, which sets the tone for the rest of our journey. It is through this lens, a sort of extended release joy, through which we watch the delighted explorers wending their way through Scavenger's Fort, their wonder enlivened with every new discovery and winding wooden trail. It is Here, in this mindfulness, that we watch an Ibis rest serenely at the edge of the creek, not wanting or worrying for anything at all.  Who'd have thought that Here, on this playground inspired by Mark Twain's exuberant imagination, we would find incontrovertible peace. Magic, some might call it.  (38:34) And speaking of Magic, perhaps the most spellbinding space we'll encounter on this island is not for the faint of heart (nor the helplessly claustrophobic). Old Scratch's Mystery Mine is a feat of engineering, optical illusion, and a place only an imagination sustained by youth could conjure. At the dark and ominous entrance to the cavern, Tom Sawyer himself has left us a note, advising that we “keep a sharp eye out” and “dont stop for nuthin” as we call upon our courage and wander inside. Along narrow pathways we meander, our curiosity quelling any apprehension. (39:15) Up ahead, we spy a waterfall which seems to have spared no thought for such concepts us “gravity,” streaming ever upward and catching the light of dozens of glittering jewels waiting to be mined. A dazzling treasure, to be sure, but not the most priceless one we've found on our excursion to Tom Sawyer Island. Our minds retreating to what other quiet moments of joy our journey might have in store, we find reprieve from the cave's confinement in the wide open space outside and the refreshing rainfall still falling all around us. (41:19) Potter's Mill stands sentinel on the edge of the Rivers of America, charming and quaint and beautifully preserved in time. Home to several songbirds who undoubtedly have found a haven in the rafters from the “some no good” who scared them away from the grist mill nearby.  (44:40) All at once retrieved from our reverie by the unmistakable clickety-clack of a runaway mine train and the even more recognizable screams of mingled fear and delight, we give way once more to that unguarded inquisition, and set off in pursuit of one last, daring adventure.   (46:57) Spelunking through the Cave of the mysteriously elusive “Injun Joe,” we find a hideout sporting a fascination of fossils embedded into stone walls, which jut out and reach toward the ceiling in the oddest formations that almost resemble...faces?  An eerie whistle of wind creeps through the cavern, and a bridge over a bottomless pit seems the only way through, the most bracing test of our courage thus far. Though, some satirical jungle cruise skippers might speculate that the return to civilization is far more foreboding.  (49:47) And so we pluck up our courage for that great feat, and head back out into the drizzle, which seems to have lightened during our cave exploration. Harper's Mill seems to thrive on a more pervasive deluge, its water wheel churning around and around the grist mill in ceaseless earnest, collecting what it can from the low, gray clouds.  A quintessential scene of the old, deep south, this scene calls to mind sprawling front porches and slow harmonica serenades. We can picture ourselves rocking away until the stars scatter the countryside sky, sipping sweet tea and listening to the childhood tales of generations.  And as the Liberty Belle churns along the Rivers of America, sightseers enamored by the quaint little island they'll only ever know from afar, we wear the secret of this place like a smile. Suddenly, the idea of leaving this place is not met with fretful hesitation. It's not truly goodbye, after all, but “see you real soon.”  (51:00) Like a farewell to a lifelong friend, not unlike what Tom and Huck might exchange at summer's end, we know we'll meet again someday. When that day comes, we'll pick up right where we left off (and maybe, finally, finish whitewashing that fence). For now, we've got a blissful afternoon full of memories to see us through, a wonderland of wandering to embark upon in our imagination.  In the story that unfolds in every orifice of Tom Sawyer Island, we have found a place held for us in each chapter. For those of us who seek Magic in the mundane…this is our escape to Neverland, our quiet moment of suspension and joy.

A simultaneous sense of peace and excitement washes over the young and young at heart, wrapping us in a warm embrace and inviting us to assume our roles as the ensemble of the enchanting tale that is told anew here each and every day. Anticipation escalates as we approach the Walt Disney World Railroad Station, gateway to the Magic Kingdom and prologue to the magnificent story that we can sense is about to unfold. Our heart skips (and so do our feet) as we approach the station, just in time to hear that familiar "Choo Choo!" of the train whistle as it steamrolls into its stop on Main Street, U.S.A. [04:33] Our walk through the train station tunnel sets the scene for our cinematic journey, a preview of the story about to unfold. Just as you would see as the precursor to a feature film, "coming attractions" line the walls as we travel back to turn-of-the-century America, offering glimpses of all the Magic and wonder that lay ahead. We step out into a bright, sunny day in the early 20th century, alive with all the friendliness and charm of small town U.S.A. Locals greet us as we meander past City Hall, while the town's merriest residents situated around Town Square to greet the newcomers, offer direction, and simply welcome us into the place they call "home." The atmosphere is light and joyful, playful and peaceful in simultaneous synchronicity. Show tunes and ragtime melodies amplify the whimsy of this place, reminding us of bygone days that somehow feel so familiar, although we never lived through the eras of their depiction. [04:52] As we leave Town Square, we herald a passing trolley car, which pauses on its journey right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A. to welcome us aboard. This is the heart of America at the start of its entertainment heyday. A glimpse into the age of whimsical new discoveries designed to captivate all ages, Main Street U.S.A. is a step (back) in time. After centuries of toil, foraging and rebuilding to create the America of modern day contexts, folks who were hardly making time to enjoy a moment to themselves could be found on a Saturday afternoon in penny arcades, licking ice pops in the heat of the day and catching a cartoon in the cinema with the whole family. We can smell a sticky, sweet aroma drifting through the trolley, its caramel scent tempting our departure. The Confectionary is truly a Main Street, U.S.A. destination, a whimsical candyland where delectable temptations are dipped, decorated and displayed for passersby to lure them into indulgence. On the left, the Main Street Emporium is a treasure trove of sundries and souvenirs to remember a day spent in the Vacation Kingdom. [7:31] The clip-clop of horses and clang-clang of a bell lets us know that another trolley is approaching, and you never know who you might see aboard as it passes by. Waving in welcome and pausing to disembark and greet visitors with a song and dance, the young lovers of small town, U.S.A. are celebrating our arrival. Dressed in their Sunday best and spruced up for the season, you can't help but feel their infectious joy as jazzy brass and foot-tapping percussions make you want to sing and dance along. [12:45] As we continue to make our way up the street, the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor wafts the scent of waffle cones out into the street to entice visitors out of the heat and into an ice cream sundae. Casey's Corner is batter up with ballpark favorites, hearty fare to remind us of summertimes at a ball game, complete with Cracker Jacks and ice-cold soda pop. Minding we don't succumb to the chasms of trolley tracks, we make our way from Main Street into the Hub, a vast, sprawling courtyard filled with fountains and trees and grassy lawns for a picnic or a brief respite. [17:31] Up ahead, the gleaming spires of Cinderella Castle shine brilliantly in the sunlight. It's breathtaking, striking in both beauty and a sort of unreality that is both intriguing and enchanting. Still, adventure is calling, and the distant sound of tiki drums is too inviting to ignore. And so we bid our trolley car engineer a warm adieu and head in the direction of the percussive pandemonium. [18:19] Welcome to a land of mystery and discovery, brought to life by bongos and exotic songbirds, rushing waterfalls and the “yo-ho” of swashbuckling pirates. [19:47] An impressive treehouse climbs up through the tallest, widest limbs of Adventureland, stretching skyward in an entanglement so inseparable from the tree that it looks to have simply grown that way. The thatched roof, netted walls and mismatched brick-a-beach give all evidence to a hideaway for the most resourceful adventurers, of which we are surely included. [20:37] Beyond, we see the resident tiki gods are whistling in hollow, wooden tones as adventurers pass on their way to the World-Famous Jungle Cruise. Whether or not they return from this exotic foray…well, the tiki gods are always hedging their bets. [21:10] In the distance, we hear the unmistakable belt of a steamboat roaring into motion. Still, our attention is occupied by the Agrabanian marketplace we've stumbled into, ornate lamps and jewels scattered on groaning tables in tents for our perusal. Overhead, some mystical, enchanted carpets soar above Adventureland with passengers tipping this way and that. This is obviously the best way to get a bird's eye view, but be warned about the camels: they spit. [24:05] A jaunty accordion calls us away from the Arabian marketplace and into a Caribbean Mercado by the sea. Welcome to Tortuga, the stomping grounds of pillaging, plundering pirates. A seaside fortress clearly overtaken by the conquering seafarers, we'll have to keep our possessions close as we pass through; these pirates are not to be trusted. And so we continue, from the muggy shores of the Caribbean islands and into the parched desert of the American West. [25:48] Welcome to Frontierland. A town straight out of an old wild, wild western film and just as riddled with playful confusion, Frontierland is home to singin' country beats, a briar patch full of laughing critters, and a runaway mine train you'll hope doesn't go awry when you decide to climb aboard. A lively hoedown of banjos, mandolins and an unmistakable fiddle bring this tumbleweed town to life. A resounding “yee-haw” would not be out of place here, accompanied by the mechanical gunshots of players at the Frontierland Shootin' Arcade. Here, folks are accustomed to takin' it easy, and that sounds mighty fine to us. [28:42] Now, we could find ourselves a rocking chair on the porch of Pecos Bill's Tall Tale Inn and relax the day away, but there is much more to discover. We are once again traveling back in time, though back further than the turn-of-the-century. It is 1776, the birth year of America, and we are in the midst of a patriotic palaver that could only be called Liberty Square. Delicate four-four time signatures compose the waltz of this colonial town, redolent with signs of freedom and pride, from the Liberty Bell proudly displayed in the shade of the Liberty Tree and its 13 lanterns to the Hall of Presidents, a hallowed tribute to the nation's leaders across the centuries. We've found the source of the steamboat whistle; the stately Liberty Belle awaits embarkation for a trip down the Rivers of America. [31:02] We, however, are working our way upstream. Past the handsome mansion on the hill that rumor has it is ghoulishly haunted, and under the viaduct that separates Liberty Square from a place less rooted in history and more in, well, fantasy. Stepping out into the sunlight once more brings us right into the heart of every fairytale and “happily ever after” we've ever known. Welcome to Fantasyland. [31:27] It's off to Neverland upon entering this daydream come to life. A tower in the distance calls to mind the wistful maiden who brushed seventy feet of hair each day and longed for the chance to live a life beyond her narrow confines. The children of the world dance and play in harmony together on the musical tour of nations, it's a small world. And isn't it, though? How far and wide we've traveled, and how much more there is to see! [32:51] A clock chimes us into the afternoon as we make our way into the heart of Fantasyland, where a carousel stands as a talisman of childlike delight. Young and old riders choose their regal steed as our favorite fairytale melodies twinkle from some invisible calliope. [35:50] Beyond the castle walls and out of earshot of carousels and clock tower chimes lies a peaceful, quiet village on the edge of an undoubtedly enchanted forest. A quaint little cottage emits curious puffing and whirring sounds, and a fountain at the center of the village spills water out of triumphantly raised steins, held aloft by a most imposing figure and his crony. Violins lilt and twirl out the notes of a catchy waltz, a tribute to the enchanted objects that inhabit the castle in the mountains beyond, and their yearning desire to be “human again.” [37:43] All at once and yet seamless in its transition, those violins give way to a trance of woodwinds. Here we find a charming palace by the sea, extended by elegant stone archways that serve as aqueducts to let water rush in and out of the rocky harbor. A cascade of waterfalls climb over mossy rocks and half conceal a mysterious grotto, where legend tells that mermaids swim and gather treasures from the world above. [38:45] To the South, we hear the tinkering of seven diligent dwarves in a nearby diamond mine, their resounding “heigh-ho” the sign of the workday's end. It is evening, and as the sun gleans closer to the horizon behind us, we carry on. [39:23] The day's end does not draw a line under the fun, apparently, because it seems we've stumbled upon the Big Top circus as its rolled into the Magic Kingdom. The exuberant brass band music invites us to “step right up, step riiight up” and enjoy the marvelous wonders (and cool air) of Pete's Silly Sideshow. This place is perhaps the most colorful and whimsical of all we've visited today, with fortune tellers and snake charmers and magnificent flying elephants taking to the skies. The young and the young at heart find much to entertain them here, laughter a constant vibration above the din and echoing all around. [45:24] The future is calling, and for that we bid the circus farewell and head into our last stop in the Magic Kingdom. This intergalactic adventure is unlike anything we've seen yet. From Star Command to Progress City, this place is a vision of the future that we get to experience in our present. Welcome to Tomorrowland. [47:20] Instead of taking our tour of Tomorrowland on foot, we welcome you aboard yet another highway in the sky: The Tomorrowland Transit Authority: PeopleMover. A spacious and open air carriage in the clouds, the views up here (and the breeze) can't be beat. As dusk settles onto the Magic Kingdom, we watch the sun sink low and golden hour turn to blue as we make our way around Tomorrowland. [47:37] We speed past the hum and purr of the Tomorrowland Speedway, an attraction often smelled before it is heard. (If you know, you know.) The otherworldly spires of Space Mountain exude an iridescent glow in the fading light, enticing the curious into the cosmos. All around Tomorrowland, the familiar voices of monsters and space rangers can be heard amid the disembodied voice of our guide and the robotic, xylophonic music. So much to see and discover, this was the only way to catch it all while still adhering to Roz's “tight schedule.” [52:00] And so our grand circle tour of the Magic Kingdom comes to a whirlwind conclusion as we find ourselves back once again swaying to the ragtime swing of Main Street, U.S.A. We've had quite the adventure, traveling through time and space to spread the wings of our imaginations and experience the wonder so often lost at the culmination of childhood. The Magic Kingdom is a place that grants permission to those who have been told that whimsy is for weekends and fantasy is to be associated with ignorance. This is truly a place of yesterday and tomorrow, of fairytales come to life, of endless possibility. We hope you've enjoyed our journey through the Most Magical Place on Earth. We hope it has brought nostalgia and provided a space for joyous reflection. We hope it inspires your own imagination to awaken once again and soar to new heights. It is always Here for you, as are we - Here, With the Magic. See ya real soon!
