Most people have seen at least one Godzilla movie. Everyone's heard the unmistakable roar. But the first (and Charles thinks the best, much to Joseph's chagrin) is the original, the Numero Uno, the Ichiban: Gojira 1954 from Japan, directed by Ishiro Honda! This mean-ass monster, conceived and hatched in the ocean depths during the aftermath of the initial terrors of the Nuclear Age, spawned it all -- countless sequels, reimaginings, and reboots over the past 60 years. No CGI here, just a guy in a rubber suit stomping on miniature cities, and we (make that Charles) couldn't be happier. Joseph just rolls his eyes. Godzilla theme by Akira Ifukube. Remake Schmemake theme music by JuliusH from Pixabay.

This episode is strange. Impressions galore. Bad ones of course. The Walking Dead is in a bad state when Morgan and The Kingdom breathe life into the show. No CGI deer in this episode but there is a CGI animal still. No, not the lion, but the terrible actress that talks to Ezekiel about plants. She isn't real.

In The Queue - Film Conversations with Andrew and Phil

Yo, Aaron Paul is starring in a movie now...bitch.Sorry to open the post blue, but I thought it would be instantly recognizable to "Breaking Bad" fans.  That's right, Jesse Pinkman is the new Steve McQueen!  Or that's what the filmmakers behind "Need For Speed" would have you believe.  Paul is Toby, a mechanic who is also a steely-eyed street racer.  The 'plot' of this film concerns a cross country race between Toby and his arch-nemesis, Dino, whom Toby holds responsible for the death of a dear friend.  The star of this film are the car crashes, which are pretty cool.  No CGI was used for any of these stunt scenes, which Phil and Andrew both admire.  But sadly, the car-flipping and mid-air pirouettes are not enough to sustain a two hour and fifteen minute running time.  Phil and Andrew unite in their lambasting of "Need For Speed."  Sorry, Jesse Pinkman fans, you won't find anything to cook with here.
