Breathe into the moment. Whatever it brings. It's easier said than done sometimes, isn't it? Dorman Baltazar is no stranger to challenging times, and learning how to breathe into the moment. In fact, the word "Breathe" has become synonymous with who he is, what he does and even what his businesses have been named. At this time of this podcast discussion, Dorman is a Wholistic Lifestyle Coach who also practices and teaches yoga and meditation. But he wasn't always that way. In this fascinating and heartfelt conversation, Dorman openly shares about his personal and professional journey, with all its twists and turns, including a stint in prison that ended up teaching him the potential power of practicing yoga, mediation and more deeply connecting with the breath. After closing the doors to what was "Breathe Cycle and Yoga Studios" in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (due in large part to the complications and economic strain caused by the COVID-19 pandemic) Dorman came into this conversation having just launched his own online platform, "WeBreathe.ca" (http://www.webreathe.ca)  Dorman also has published a book of poetry called, "The Journey Within." This podcast conversation will serve as a rich context to either of those two things, as Dorman shares his journey, straight from his heart. Among other things, he openly discussed: ~ What it was like to grow up in Belize, move to Southern California and how he eventually ended up in Western Canada. ~ What initially sparked his interested in racing road bikes and mountain bikes, and how that led to his interest in exploration of yoga and mediation ~ What happened that fundamentally changed his life at 36 years old, and how he managed his way through it without losing heart. ~ How he continues to deepen his awareness, meet new challenges and what he's learned about the power of being able to breathe into the moment. ------------------------------------------- This episode of “Journeys with the No Schedule Man” is presented by: ~ Diamond & Gold Treasures - http://www.diamondzgold.com ~ Provincial Glass & Mirror - https://www.provincialglass.com/ ~ Mulligan Realty Group - http://www.mulliganrealtygroup.com ~ momondays London - http://www.momondays.com/london ~ Trickett Financial - https://www.trickettfinancial.com/

His answer: pivot. Instead of holding it in one city, in one country, and in front of a limited audience, he could now make it a global event that everyone from all over the world could see simultaneously. And with that, his Global Online Positive Summit has been born, and is set to take place on May 28 - 30, 2020.  We discussed all of this in this episode. Cornell has gathered speakers from all over the world sharing their unique stories, and powerful messages, all in an effort to uplift others and to raise money for a firefighter’s family in his hometown of Passaic, New Jersey. Among other things, we discussed: ~ How thoughts and feelings affect our health ~ How “it’s a lot of work, to work on yourself.” ~ The positives and negatives associated with each of the main colours (e.g., Red positive = Passion | Red negative = fear) ~ Discussion on several real-life scenarios from both Kevin’s life and Angela’s life, how colour has played into it, what they’ve learned about themselves and role colour can play in moving forward. ~ They also created a recipe for the chronically under-achieving Toronto Maple Leafs! In this episode, Brendon joined me to speak at length about both his journey of creating and leading his own paradigm-shifting movement and about his journey into consciousness in general At ParadigmShiftCentral.com, you’ll find featured inspirational content leaders actively helping accelerate the shift in global consciousness through creativity and compassion. Brendon leads by example through a variety of different videos, including meditations, group discussions and collaboration and video blog-type observations, among other things.  In addition to his proficiency and video production and online community building, Brendon is just as likely to be found on the streets of London, Ontario offering "free hugs" and/or talking to passersby to encourage their thoughts on a particular subject, many of which will be shared to the collective via video. The result of his effort is seeing others around the world feeling inspired and encouraged by his actions. Many of them put their own ideas and efforts into play as well, and so the global shift in consciousness moves just a little bit more and a little bit more. Among many other things, we discussed: ~ The process of creating his film, "Journey to Lucidity." ~ What led to him becoming so passionate about doing the kind of work he does. ~ When he first became aware that there was even a "paradigm" that needed "shifting," and how he knew he was meant to be involved. ~ His concept of "Radical non-worriness." ~ The human tendency to gravitate toward what we think needs to happen vs what needs to happen. This is really a love story. Love of what we do, how we do it ... and of each other. Zen’za Pizzeria in London, Ontario, Canada is one of those all-too-rare, very special kinds of places that warm your spirit the moment you pass through the doors. It’s more than the food, though that’s part of it. It’s more than the design of the place, though that’s part of it too. It’s a lot about the people who created it, the circumstances that led to its creation and, in face, the coming together of those two people in the first place. We talked about all of that and more with Wayne DeGroot and Jocelyn Morwood-DeGroot in Episode 101 of “Journeys with the No Schedule Man.” Among other things, we discussed: How the two of them connected and what told them each that the connection was to be trusted and explored. Among other things, we discussed: - "Grooming," and how online sexual predators often communicate and what they do to draw out information from potential victims. - Signs to look for from online gaming sexual predators. - Why something that could well be in your child's phone - that they might think is funny - could actually be a criminal offence. - An overview of the three steps to Charlene's model for digital supervision: a) Awareness b) Method (how and what to check) c) Hope This is an important story that may well save lives and save families. As he grew older, it only got worse, and showed itself in new and more challenging forms like panic attacks and social withdrawal. Eventually, he began to self-medicate with alcohol and found himself in a very dark place. In this conversation, Steve openly discusses the challenges he faced for much of his life. But he also shares an open and honest account of what he did – and is doing – to reclaim his well-being and to live a life free of anxiety. He is living proof that it is possible, and it’s part of his mission to help as many people as he can by authentically sharing his experiences from this point on. Some of the key things I took from my time with Steve included: 1. Changing Your “Why” – Steve tells a moving story of how his love for his daughter “Became The Why” which precipitated his effort to truly change. In short, he wondered if he could love himself the way he loved his daughter. What a thought! Listen for that, and what happened as a result. 2. Asking “Why” – Steve talked about learning to approach everything like a toddler when it comes to understanding his own thoughts, feelings, emotions and beliefs. It’s a great way to look at it! Find out why by listening for what Steve has to say about asking “why?” 3. You Can Teach Yourself Anything – As Steve notes, the knowledge is free and readily available to anyone with access to a library, and especially to anyone with access to the internet. But you’ve got to do the work. If you’re willing to do that, you can literally teach yourself to do just about anything, including overcoming anxiety. ©2017 Kevin Bulmer Enterprises

Michael Doyle is a speaker, musician, business coach and author who believes that everyone has the power to follow their dreams and live their purpose. At the time of this discussion, he is just about to release his first book called “At The Helm: Take Control and Live Fully” Some of the key things I took from my time with Michael included: 1. Confidence Comes Last – As Michael says, “If we wait until we have the confidence to do something we'll probably never do it.” He went on to say, “Once you start to build skills, that's when the confidence starts to come. Confidence comes last in almost every obstacle I've worked through.” 2. Being Open to Receive - I misunderstood this for a long time, much as I did with the idea of loving myelf; it seemed selfish to me. But that’s not it at all. Michael noted that, through the course of his personal growth and redevelopment, he discovered that being open to receive was his biggest block. 3. Underestimating what we can do in a long period of time – Michael said, “We as humans will over-estimate what we can do in a short period of time. We'll try to schedule too much and will try to do too much. But at the same point I think we grossly underestimate what we can do in a long period of time. It's about doing little things and being consistent and being intentional.” That’s a really great observation. I’m certain that he’s right and confess to falling into that trap in bits and pieces every day. ©2017 Kevin Bulmer Enterprises

Saying Yes To Life – Doug gives a powerful account of what led to his decision to say “yes” to more global engagements, and what caused him to make a commitment to himself of something he would do within 30 days of getting home after being unwell in another part of the world. 2. Learn To Do By Doing – As Doug described his start in his own branch of the family business, “Rather than me going into a big business when I didn’t have big business skills, this allowed me to start from grassroots small business. And then my business skills grew at the same time as the business grew.” He shares many valuable insights along these lines, a must-listen for aspiring entrepreneurs and those looking for a succession plan for their existing business 3. Understanding the Difference One Person Can Make – Doug recounts a moving story near the end of our discussion that truly gave me pause for consideration. He observed that, “I get really, really, really frustrated when people don’t see the difference they could make in a very simple way.” Each and every one of us has the opportunity to make a positive difference. And for each one of us who does, the bigger the collective difference we all make. ©2017 Kevin Bulmer Enterprises

Eustan Matthews is a Business Coach, Consultant & Speaker who helps busy entrepreneurs and business owners avoid or escape what he calls “The Freedom Quandary.” At the time of our discussion, he’s taken on a project called “40 Coffees in 40 Days,” designed to meet with a different small business owner on 40 separate occasions and to solve one challenge in their business over a cup of coffee. Like anyone else, Eustan’s story is not without its challenges. Being moved from his home country of Trinidad at an early age left him with feelings and questions he’s had to carry with him since. And, like most of us, his journey has taken twists and turns and has provided opportunities for him to re-examine his path and what he can be doing to best represent his authentic self on a day-to-day basis. I think he’s on to it. Some of the key things I took away from the time with Eustan include: 1. Leaving Authentic Impressions – It occurred me, as I listened to Eustan speak about people in his life, how many impressions are being made and absorbed over the course of a day, a week or a lifetime. We make impressions on so many other people, both good and not as good, without even trying, and these impressions become part of our collective experience, in both how we identify ourselves, and in what we say about ourselves to others. 2. Invest in the person, not in the business (or the numbers) – A wise choice for any business involving human beings, in my opinion. 3. Positivity is a choice – He tells a great story about a time when he asked his wife, “Am I a negative person?” The honest answer he got presented him with a choice as to how he wanted to move forward. I believe he chose well. ©2017 Kevin Bulmer Enterprises

His mission in life is to serve others and make this world a better place. He’s doing a heckuva job so far. Originally, Cornell thought his purpose in life was to play professional basketball. And in 2003, he received a contract to play pro ball in Portugal. It was the realization of a dream he'd held since he discovered the sport at 16 years of age. And then it all fell apart. Little did he realize at the time that the setback would help him find & embrace his true purpose in life: Some of the key things I took from my time with Cornell include: 1. You Can Always Sell the Cookies - In one of my favourite stories of any of this podcast's episodes so far, Cornell tells a terrific tale of mindset , resourcefulness & hustle. 2. If You Build It, They Don’t Always Come – You have to do the work. You better know your stuff. Cornell was reminded of that in the days when he started his first basketball camp and the results brought to mind a famous quote from a certain Kevin Costner movie ... only in reverse. 3. You’ll Never Arrive - There is an irony here, because the acceptance of this fact is your gateway to freedom. Wherever you go, there you are. You'll never arrive. Katie Kozlowski is a spiritual teacher, self realization coach and healer. Katie’s is a remarkable story about how so many of us start out so happy and free, how it easy it is to get lost, and the consequences of the unconscious cruelty we inflict on ourselves and others when we’re not in touch with who we really are. A few key things I took from the conversation with Katie include: 1. You Are Not Your Body – She talks about the difference between your soul and your body, and how her accident (which she describes) jolted her soul and her body back together. It’s a powerful observation 2. Happy Can Look Messy – Listen for how she describes herself as a kid. As we get older, we start putting all sorts of conditions on what it takes to be happy. But happy can be simple, and even messy. 3. The Irony of “Playful Transformation” (because it brings you back to the REAL you) – Listen for WHY Katie jokes that she “peaked” in Grade 3. She already knew who she was. She just needed to find her again, or “transform” back to who she already used to be (and still was). The same is true for most of us. ©2017 Kevin Bulmer Enterprises

In addition, Martin has begun to do some speaking and was featured as a contributing writer to the book “Dreaming Big Being Bold: Inspiring Stories from Trailblazers,Visionaries and Change Makers” by Paula Morand & Victoria Craig. What’s interesting is that we did not talk much about fitness, or speaking, or writing, in this discussion. Instead, this conversation was very much about relationship, reinvention and self-realization. Like me, Martin thought he had it all figured out and, at least initially, couldn't understand when things started to fall apart at home. As you'll hear, he's gone (going) through a personal transformation that is empowering observe. Some of the key things I took from my time with Martin include: 1. Embracing Brokenness – He tells the story of a broken bowl, and how the pieces that are glued back together are actually stronger than the other, “non-broken” parts of the bowl. This goes hand-in-hand with accepting impermanence – if you don’t see the glass as half full or half empty, but embrace it as already broken, you can enjoy and appreciate each moment with it more. I love the idea of putting flecks of gold in the glue, too. 2. An Evolving View of Courage – Martin gives a clear account of how his views have changed on what constitutes true nobility, strength and courage. He notes that he used to view transparency as weakness. He now knows better, and I couldn’t agree with him more. 3. Significance of the Insignificant – This is the ripple effect. Carlen is a dynamic, cheerful soul who clearly loves what she does and has been through quite the journey of self exploration and actualization to become that way. And that is, for the most part, what we discussed in this episode. Some of the key things I took from this discussion that you may wish to listen for include: Honouring & Nurturing Your Awareness - Carlen described a "heavy feeling" that she experienced at the outset of her professional journey. Rather than pushing past it, as so many of us do in the face what we feel we're "supposed" to do, she listened to it, honoured it, gave it space and looked to truly understand it. She cultivated her self-awareness to truly tune into what her body and spirit were trying to tell her. It's a great lesson for the rest of us, and one that has served her well again, many times, in the face of subsequent challenges. Embracing the “Process” – Dr. Carlen took an objective and honest macro view of her life in order to choose the next micro move. She knew it would be a process and she embraced it and then went to work. She describes this at the part where she talks about wanting to have the credibility to be taken seriously, and what she felt that would require. It's a fabulous lesson in self-awareness and emotional maturity that left me impressed and inspired. Understanding & Cultivating Intimacy - The word "intimacy," in my opinion and experience, is largely misunderstood. That's probably due to the accepted phrase of “being intimate” taken to mean "having sex." But that's not what real intimacy is, and we're missing out! As Dr. Carlen says, "Intimacy is about sharing. It's about communicating. It's about connecting. It's about bonding. It's about everything other than sex." ©2017 Kevin Bulmer Enterprises

And if they want to use those relationships to power personal and professional growth, he shows them how to do that too. Jason is a survivor of his first wife’s battle with bipolar disorder and subsequent suicide. He’s also overcome a decade-long battle with alcohol and eventually stopped running from grief and fear, which allowed him to become the husband and father he is today. After creating a website called "The Book of Open" to share his own gratitude journals, his efforts soon evolved into one of encouraging and empowering others to share their stories through his site. As Jason went on curating and connecting the experiences of others, the project caught the attention of Hogan Hilling, who approached him about writing a book. That turned into “The Dadly Book of Open: How Cultivating Vulnerability Makes You a Stronger, Wiser & More Courageous Father.” Some of the key things to listen for include: 1. Growing Together – We discuss this at a few different points in the conversation, related not just to parents with their kids, but with their parents as well. As the generations turn and learn, we are all growing together. 2. You will know when it is time for you to know - His description of the peace and the clarity of the moment when he knew he was done drinking is a great example of how, with any large, looming issue in your life that you’re not sure how to handle, you will know when it’s time. You’ll just know. And when that time arrives, you’ll know it. 3. The power of vulnerability - Authentically sharing our true selves with others almost never pushes others away. It has the reverse effect: it almost always brings us closer together. When someone else shares and listens with authenticity, non-judgement and kindness, there is no greater way to deepen or create a connection with another human being. Jason has discovered this and you’ll clearly hear that in this discussion. 4. Perseverance - He does a terrific job of describing the process of actually creating the book and what it took. Sometimes, life is trying to tell you, “Hey. There’s something here that needs your attention. Slow down. My question with this episode is: how do you recognize when it’s time for a personal “time out,” and what do you do about it? How are you able to distinguish it from an everyday excuse born of fatigue or routine (we all have things we don’t feel like doing but we go through with it anyway). What I’m referring to here are the times when you’ve tried all your tricks and life is still clearly telling you to slow down or stop. Perhaps you’ve been working through a cold that just isn’t going away so your body ramps up the fatigue to slow you down, or you’re noticing that a few little disruptions seem to be turning into an avalanche of obstacles and your ability to cope is dwindling. NASCAR Fans will recognize Cole Pearn as the Crew Chief for the Furniture Row Racing Team and driver, Martin Truex Jr. Cole’s story is a terrific example of knowing yourself, trusting your gut and going with what feels right to you. I first got to know Cole when he was just a teenager racing not only at Delaware Speedway (in Ontario, Canada), but also in what used to be called the CASCAR Super Series (which later became the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, now known as the NASCAR Pinty’s Series). He was regarded as one of the true up-and-coming talents in Canadian stock car racing at the time. Cole continued to race through the balance of his high school days and into and through his time at University. Eventually, his heart told him to pack up and move to North Carolina to somehow find his way in the door of a NASCAR team. And that’s exactly what he did, finding an entry-level spot at Richard Childress Racing and working his way up from there. Fast forward to the time of this recording, where Martin Truex Jr. was named Nascar.com’s Driver of the Year after the 2016 season with Cole receiving an honourable mention for Crew Chief of the Year. In the two seasons since Cole took over atop the Furniture Row Racing pit box, the team has won five times (once in 2015 and four times in 2016) and took second place in the closest finish in the history of the Daytona 500 in February of 2016. Cole's is a fascinating story and a great example of how important it is to really know yourself, understand what it is that is important to you and what can happen when you take action to pursue it. Some of the key points that stood out to me from my time with Cole include: 1. Go with your gut. Trust your intuition. 2. Run your own race. To do this, you’ve got to really know yourself and what’s important to you. 3. Pursuit. Action. Once you know who you are and what you want, you’ve got to go after it. A well-known radio broadcasting talent in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, Derek’s career also includes a 10-year stretch as creator and producer of the “World of Motorcycles Expo” trade show and a variety of other pursuits such as motorcycle trainer and as an announcer at various motorsports events, among other things. These days, Derek most enjoys his voice work mixed with time cultivating his incredible creative and mechanical artistry by crafting a wide variety of furnishings and home accessories that he and his wife collectively refer to as “Lisa’s Pieces” (some of those items are available for sale online here). I’ve never seen him happier. Derek is an absolute gem of a human being. I treasure his friendship, encouragement, wisdom and kindness well beyond what I feel I could accurately describe. It’s my great wish that everyone should have at least one friend like Derek, and so perhaps that’s why I feel compelled to share his spirit with you. It’s bothered me somewhat that the very first episode of this podcast (which features Derek) remains the only one where I have deliberately chosen the subject matter ahead of time and then steered the conversation toward that. My only regret about it is that I don't feel that episode offers anywhere near the full scope of Derek's vast experience, kind heart, giving nature and deep emotional intelligence. I've often wished I could bottle some of the wisdom that Derek has shared with me over the years and pass it along so that it might be of benefit to others. And so with that in mind, it was important to me to celebrate the first anniversary of the No Schedule Man Podcast by asking Derek to return and to have a discussion more about life and the journey and finding contentment and letting go. And that's exactly what happened. Having said that, I admit I'm guilty of manipulating this conversation a little bit too. While we started off talking about some of the work that Derek is currently doing is a voice artist, what I really wanted to chip away at and discover was the “Why” behind one of my closest friends being as content as I've ever seen him. What are the factors that went into finding and cultivating that place? What are some of the challenges that needed to be faced? What are some of the things that we would do differently if we could do them over again, keeping in mind that we would not be who we are today if we had not had the experiences? This particular episode is very much a conversation. It's not so much an interview as a philosophical chat between two very close friends. While it goes a little bit deeper than we might have if we were just meeting for breakfast, I do feel that this conversation is representative of so many of the very helpful discussions that we have enjoyed over the years, and I hope that you are able to gain something from it as well and feel free to chime in with your own thoughts on any of the subjects we discussed. You can do that by adding it to the comments, section below. Some of the key things that stood out from the discussion with Derek include: 1. The empowering value of letting go 2. Reframing “regret” and appreciating who you are now as the sum of your collective experience 3. Getting to the cause of something (as opposed to continually treating symptoms) and being mind of which example or path you’re choosing to follow We talked about everything from Aerosmith to alcohol, Christmas to contentment and media to mindfulness. When I first heard about a guy who invites musicians into his car so that he can conduct a quick interview, have them perform a song, and then create a video episode of each encounter, I was immediately intrigued. I also had a lot of question about how he got the idea and how he was making it happen. Jeff Boudreau is the creator and host of the fabulously creative web video series, “Jeff’s Musical Car.” Based in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, Jeff has produced over 250 episodes at the time we recorded this podcast, ranging from local artists from the Moncton music scene all the way to Internationally renowned talents such guitarist, Jesse Cook. Jeff has chauffeured a few of the musicians that easily fall into my top ten of any list of my favourite music, including Colin & John-Angus MacDonald from The Trews, David Francey and The Fortunate Ones, though I’ve yet to see an episode where I wasn’t impressed by the musicianship of Jeff’s companion for that particular video. Jeff’s story is a terrific example of the power of an idea and the fuel that genuine passion gives to it. I continue to be amazed by what people can do when they’re acting from their heart and allowing themselves to learn as they go while enjoying the process. Jeff Boudreau and his Musical Car are an exceptional positive example for the rest of us in that regard. Some of the key takeaways I got from Jeff’s “Musical Car” Journey: 1. The gratification that comes from pursuing an idea and allowing yourself to figure it out and get better as you go. As Jeff puts it, "There's no guidebook on how to record bands in vehicles." 2. The value of building relationships & power of networking with patience and good intentions. 3. Expressing and encouraging creativity is its own reward, and the value of real connection and human experience are gifts the process will present to you. ©2017 Kevin Bulmer Enterprises

Bob is a Speaker, Experience leader, Management Consultant & Facilitator and Author of “The Pit Crew Challenge: Winning Customers Through Teaming.” The “Pit Crew Challenge” also serves as the name of Bob’s benchmark program for the last many years, a metaphorical learning experience that builds high-performing cultures leading to greater efficiencies. He does this by bringing an actual late model (NASCAR-style) race car to people. At the time that we produced this episode, Bob and his team have put over 16,000 people through the program, changing well beyond 155,000 wheel nuts in the process, traveling all over North America and around the world. Bob also is the man behind the brand “Walk on wet paint,” a really neat idea that helps encourage people to help break free from their constraints, real or perceived. Some Key Takeaways To Listen For: 1. The idea of culture as opposed to “team-building.” 2. The importance of failing. 3. The effect of just one loose lug nut. Just one lug nut (or wheel nut) being the slightest bit loose will magnify itself over time into a bad vibration. And that’ll cost you, on the race track, in business and in life. Some Key Takeaways: · Get to know yourself so you can hear, recognize & trust the whispers from the universe (intuition) that resonate with your heart, and put them into action. · Get (and keep) moving forward but allow yourself to be blown sideways from time-to-time. You may get pushed (or pulled) somewhere better than you originally thought you were going. · Trust that the way will show itself to you. It will. It can be scary, throwing the road out in front of you as you run, but it’s what you’re already doing anyway for something that is likely far less fulfilling. · Choose to have persistence in not listening to the negative voices that are trying to hold you back. They’re never going to go away. But you can choose not to let them control you. · If you don’t get started with something today, you’ll never know how it might affect tomorrow. He was responsible for all kinds of topics, including the old London Tigers baseball team we had here for a time (an Eastern League AA affiliate of the Detroit Tigers), the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League, all kinds of major league sporting events, and even auto racing coverage out at the stock car track near here called Delaware Speedway, where I worked in various capacities for about a decade and where I got to know Jim best. Listening to Jim talk about how they used to get stories written and submitted is a whole lot of fun. If you have any interest at all in news media, journalism or reporting, you’ll love it. Umpiring, on the other hand, took Jim to the Olympics and other international events, as well as through baseball’s minor leagues. Had work visas been more readily available, Jim may never have been a sportswriter to begin with, as it’s likely he would have ended up as an umpire in the major leagues. We discuss that, too. Some of the key steps in the journey that I took away from my time with Jim included: 1. Perspective. Whether it’s with writing or umpiring or anything else, we’re all looking at life through a different lense. That fact alone can explain a lot of “taken out of context” complaints. 2. What you love most seems to stay with you. In Jim’s case, it’s umpiring, and an appreciation for sharing new experiences with other people. 3. The art of actually being there & the value of human connection. These two things put together answered some questions I’d had about Jim for years, like how come he’s not written a book or started a blog? Jennifer Farmer is an intuitive, medium and spiritual teacher whose greatest passion is empowering you to embrace joy and inner peace through the deep healing of spiritual readings, teachings and guided meditations. I first learned of her work a couple of years ago by way of one of her guided meditation videos on YouTube. Amidst my early exploration of a higher level of awareness and at the time I was first dipping my toes into the pool of an initial practice of meditation, I somehow found Jennifer voice, approach, and energy rather soothing and appealing. I have been a fan of her work ever since and am truly grateful that I got the chance to connect with her for this conversation. Among the many things that stood out for me from my time with Jennifer were: 1. Choice over your view of your experience. She talked about deciding to view the world as a friendly place, and putting to use effective tools to maintain and nurture that view, such as counselling, meditation, prayer, action & service to others. 2. The other side of that choice, and what it represents. She noted how some people choose to come at life through a lower energy frequency, using things like blame, guilt and regret to shape their view. In that case, Jennifer suggests that such a person is “learning to connect to life through suffering,” and she suggests that, while EACH of us will encounter some form of suffering along the way, how LONG we suffer can be optional. I find that hopeful and empowering. 3. She shared three main things that are essential tools for success: Awareness, Learning How to Control Your Mind, and the Ability to Let Go & Renew, which we discussed at greater length. There was SO much else to soak, such as what she shared about “Energy Management” and how “at a spirit level, we’re all the same.” I also noted when she shared that she gets messages when she’s in a calm state. I found that interesting, as I rarely feel inspired or intuitive when I’m frantic or exhausted. I hope you enjoy the conversation with Jennifer Farmer! ©2016 Kevin Bulmer Enterprises

Kim Von Berg is a long-time love coach, is passionate about transforming the lives and relationships of singles and couples - and has owned and operated Thriving Loving Relationships since 1997. She is a certified singles and couples coach, a communication specialist, a credentialed teacher and holds a master’s degree in Humanistic Psychology. In addition, she is certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and about to certified as a Calling in the One Coach. I could have talked with Kim for hours. I feel strongly that anyone in any kind of a relationship can benefit greatly by hearing and truly taking to heart what Kim has so share. Among the key takeaways from the conversation with Kim are: 1. It starts with self. This is true of so many things in life, and relationships are no different. The manifest of your outer reality all begins from your inner dialogue. 2. Coming to a relationship from a place of "I" instead of "You." Here's an example: If I say, "I feel this way," it's not really arguable. I'm sharing how I'm feeling about something. I'm not stating a cause: I'm sharing the effect. But as soon as I say, "You made me feel this way," the defenses go up and the fight is on. To that end ... 3. No one can make you feel anything. Easy as it is to blame and criticize, if you're upset, that's your choice. This is a pill that many (most?) people don't want to swallow. But until you can accept this medicine, you're going to remain stuck. On the other hand, as soon as you take responsibility for your own thoughts and feelings, you'll begin to feel more empowered and secure than you could ever have imagined. But it takes practice. ©2016 Kevin Bulmer Enterprises

This could be as much about how to get to the next business meeting, as it is your life. I am a complete believer that how you do one thing, is how you do everything. This is the conversation I have with my guest Kevin Bulmer, host of The No Schedule Man, podcast. As we head into the holidays, be where you are. Yes, even if that's stuck in traffic. You will never get this moment back. Make the most of it… Be happy for this moment, This moment is your life. Michelle Dutro is the host of The Game Changer Podcast and creator of Inner North Star.com. She describes herself as being inspired by people who are willing to risk it all to pursue their dream, stand up for what they believe, or go above and beyond to help another. Like me, she has a natural curiosity about the mindset of these kinds of people and she loves to discover what sets them apart. She refers to these kinds of people as “Game Changers” and by reaching out to them, she’s able to share the stories of their challenges, their successes and most importantly their “why” behind what they do. Here are a handful of key thoughts I took from the conversation with Michelle: 1. Structure and Discipline with Creativity. You must have structure and discipline enough to complete and share your creative gifts. 2. The Snow Globe analogy. Everyone needs time to just “be” with zero input, and let things settle before deciding on the next step. 3. Making friends with challenge. 4. You don’t get what you want. You get what you are. ©2016 Kevin Bulmer Enterprises

Sue Curr is a Speaker, Empowerment Coach & Author who prides herself on being able to inspire others to Fear Less & Live More by adopting the practices of forgiveness, gratitude, mindfulness & positivity as part of their daily lifestyle choices. Sue has 15-year background in the fields of education and social healthcare specializing in Mental Ill Health Awareness. She works tirelessly with people of all ages, enabling them to achieve their full potential and instilling in them the confidence to live life in their own way. Sue did not come by living life on her own terms without significant effort, challenge and change. She does a wonderful job of sharing her story openly and genuinely in this podcast, giving terrific examples of hard-won wisdom that can only be earned through living the journey. We’re better for Sue being willing to share with us. Here are a few of the key things that stood out from my time with her: 1. Just how far a facade will take us. And what that does to us. 2. The power of “No.” This one seems almost counter-intuitive, but it’s a key area of struggle for many compassionate people. 3. Taking responsibility. This is a powerful story from a kind, genuine and dynamic woman. It was my great privilege to spend the time with her, and I’m equally as grateful to be able to share her spirit with you now. ©2016 Kevin Bulmer Enterprises
