Since competing on the voice, JChosen has opened up for some amazing R&B artists including Hi-Five, Mya, Tank, and Jagged Edge. He has also headlined his own shows. He has also acted in 3 movies: “Ace”, “Pressure”, and “Project Heat” with a cameo in the short film “Mad As Hell”. Prior to performing and recording music, JChosen was a talented college basketball player at Appalachian State University with lofty NBA goals. As his basketball career excelled, it created a conflict between sports and music.  Life would intervene and decide for JChosen. Frank Ocean's debut album was highly anticipated after the success of his 2011 mixtape Nostalgia, Ultra and its hit single “Novacane”.
