I got an epic question in my IG DMs @haleyhoffmansmith - how do we deepen into PRESENCE, the here & now, while also integrating Law of Assumption hacks? So, let's discuss it! How do we LOVE the now, while also actively creating the future and bringing the future INTO the now? I offer some ideas on how to do this in this episode, with some other energetic considerations! Mentioned TikTok account: Aspiring Alchemist November is LAW OF ASSUMPTION Month in Dreamaway, so we're tapping on all these principles. Join us in the Dreamaway Community for so many resources including Dreamaway-exclusive Slingshot Sessions, visualizations, tapping "Money Dates" (abundance programming), daily tapping videos, weekly energy readings, astrological updates, and so much more! https://haleyhoffmansmith.com/dreamaway 90 Min Workshop: It's Already Happened (Living in the End) | Monday, 11/11 at 7:30-9pm ET In this life changing 90 min rewiring session, we'll be instilling the complete and total certainty that your desire has ALREADY happened, to “live in the end” as Neville Goddard would say. When we can feel as though we ALREADY HAVE what we want, it has no choice but to come to us. To do this, we must understand every limiting belief or fear in the way of that 100% certainty. We'll then be releasing and clearing these doubts from the root, and integrating a profound inner picture for peace and wish fulfillment in the NOW. Money Date: It's Allowed to Be Easy (Money Edition) | Thursday, November 7th, 7:00-8:00pm ET [REPLAY NOW AVAILABLE] One of the all-time most popular Slingshot Sessions is called “It's Allowed to Be Easy.” In this money date, we'll be confronting the two biggest belief systems around making money: 1) that we have to WORK HARD and 2) that time = money. It is possible that money can flow to us easily and naturally with more JOY AND FLOW than work. As we believe it, so it happens- so let's integrate that assumption. BONUS SESSION: Right On Time | Monday, November 18th at 5:00pm ET One of the stickiest blocks around living in the end is a feeling that we're “behind”. If you're impatient, in a rush, or just feeling like you've missed the boat on your desire, you are NOT in the feeling of the wish fulfilled - in fact, the more impatient we are, the longer it takes. This reassuring one hour session will clear the fear that we aren't right on time, so we can deepen into infinite patience and trust it all works out for us right on time. VISUALIZATION: I Am Already There | Friday, 11/1 at 10:00am ET Neville Goddard says that what we want is not in the future; it is already within us. In this visualization, you'll be guided to feel as though your wish is already fulfilled and you are already the version of yourself who HAS IT. I'm hosting this one on the first of the month so you can use it EVERY SINGLE DAY of Law of Assumption Month. Money Date Replay: Unlocking Financial Freedom. | Tuesday, 11/26 at 5:00pm ET When we can't buy what we want, it creates a lot of disappointment and internal resistance. We'll be clearing core memories about a LACK of financial freedom that may still be playing a role in your psyche today, to open you to brand new abundance streams. 90 Min Replay: Release Hyper-Attachment and Excess Potential | Saturday, November 9th 10:00-11:30am ET As per the book Reality Transurfing, when we allocate TOO much importance to something, it gives it “excess potential” and actually makes it LESS likely that we can call it in. And yet, how can we NOT be attached to what we really, really want? This powerful 90-minute workshop is all about setting you FREE. Free to play, free to have fun, free to trust in all of it - without being hyper-attached to what you want. Come to the session with a manifestation or 3 in mind, whatever you've been hyper-attached to. We'll get to the root of WHY you feel so attached (it's usually from an underlying insecurity/fear) and then clear it, so that you can experience the amazing freedom of detachment - calling in what you want FASTER and with so much more peace! Group Coaching | Saturday, November 23rd 11:00am ET Sagittarius Season Intention Setting Ceremony | Friday, November 22nd, 3pm ET

Keeping that pack light, yet filling it with food that will keep energy up while not taking up space or adding weight can be a tricky feat. BEC dives into simple, basic tips to survive that first trip. The key is to begin planning now, weeks before you head out on that trip. It's always tempting to head online and purchase pre-packaged meals, and freeze-dried foods that claim to taste great, weigh almost nothing while the ratio of carbs or protein is needed for physical activity. The oversight comes when not having tried them first at home! Happy Stomach, Happy Trip Adding in miles of physical activity first off we know often causes the body not just to burn up calories fast, but also can accelerate the process of digesting food and the need for #2 quickly (yup, we're talking poop)!! Before being stuck on the trail with food that might be healthy but doesn't necessarily agree with your stomach right off the bat, you'll want to start adjusting your diet now and trying these tips BEC offers in this episode! Most Important Tip: Try ALL foods at home well before the Trip, Adventure or Hike! Saving Backpack Weight The pack gets heavy fast, and especially when needing to stay hydrated too. Think of food that can be consumed, the wrapping can be burned or easily packed out and keep your energy intact. Believe BEC, it is not as easy as it sounds yet it can BE EASY to do with a little preparation and DIY R&D (aka research & development). We're telling you, TRY everything you have before you pack your ride to head out to the backcountry. BEC was raised on a large ranch, has been a certified trail guide, packed in and elk hunted the backcountry. She is seasoned on what to know, but as one “never knows what's truly around the bend” believes strongly you can never over-prepare. Do not make planning a headache either, have fun and make it a family adventure so that even if loved ones cannot join on this adventure they will still feel as thou they are part of the excitement! Easy Dessert Tip: Oven or Dutch Oven Approved! Fun, Easy Soda Pop Desserts Desserts ANYONE can make… Have you seen Soda Pop desserts on TikTok? Using Soda Pop, and Forget the water. TikTok creators like @jordan_the_stallion8, have been testing out the trend. Instead Mixing a ¼ cup of Dr. Pepper soda pop to a boxed brownie mix and an egg, bake like usual and you've got Pop Brownies… Well BEC (Rebecca Wanner) hates to bust the bubble on this so-called “NEW TREND”! Our cabin master of the Dutch Oven, aka Tigger (Jeff Erhardt), has been using soda or pop in his cakes for years when cooking over the fire! Tigger makes amazing desserts by simply melting butter on the bottom of a hot Dutch oven, adding the dry cake mix and pouring over the top a can of soda or pop, covering with the lid, and setting on the hot embers or coals. Don't forget to add those hot embers/coals on top of the lid too!! Want a cobbler?? Toss in a can of your favorite canned fruit canned pie filling and BOOM – You have a Dutch Oven Cobbler! Tigger isn't the only one making delicious desserts using a can of soda pop. Head to TheBendShow.com for our good friend, Kent Rollins the Cowboy Chef and another lover of the Dutch Oven to grab his recipe and watch his easy “HOW TO” for an easy Old Fashioned Blackberry Cobbler. (FOR THE 1st three people) This episode is a replay of Week 51 from 2023, What I BelieveAround this time I start to review my year and check in with what is important to me. I'm thinking about how I have been spending my time and how I want to spend my time in the future. Asking questions helps me stay focused. Am I sharing my T.A.G.S. - Talents, Abilities, Gifts, Skills, to the best of my abilities? An important question is - have my beliefs and philosophies changed? The excerpt that I'm sharing this week from my book/ebook/audiobook, Why Struggle? Life is too short to wear tight shoes, is part of the about this book section. In this part of the book I share my life philosophies. I hope you enjoy it! About this Book It's been about 23 years since Why Struggle? The book was published. The initial book was a very important part of my personal and spiritual growth, just as this new endeavor for the e-book and audio book continues to allow me to Learn, Evolve, and Grow (LEG). My personal beliefs and life philosophies are the same, and I've added a few more since I've lived a lot more life. My beliefs and life philosophies are: • Be Loving. Love is the most powerful, healing, transformative power. Being loving is the answer to most situations. • Be Truthful. I must find my personal truth and what brings me joyand peace. • Move forward. Everything happens for a reason. Many times I willnever know why specific things happen, I must move forwardanyway. • Be Forgiving. Learn to forgive myself and others, quickly. There areno mistakes – only learning experiences. • Be Open. I am a student and teacher in the school of life. Teachersare everywhere, and I must be an open and willing student at alltimes. Usually, when I am the “teacher” I learn way more than Icould ever teach. • Order is a natural law. Everything happens in divine order. • Be Calm. Calm and chaos are both mental choices, I can choose differently at any time. • Be Easy. Life is about timing and FLOW (Feeling Loving Open Willing). I am learning to get out of the way more. • Be One. We are all interconnected because we are one. • LEG. My main purpose is to Learn, Evolve, and Grow (LEG) as much as I can. Everything else will fall into place. • Be Still. Time in silence and having spiritual practices such as meditation, radical forgiveness, journaling and tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique) are essential for my overall well-being. • Trust my PGS. My Personal Guidance System (PGS) will lead, guide and direct me when I relax and get still enough to hear its directions. Who knew in 1999 I would be teaching meditation classes and be that lady that might say to you...“I have a message for you.” There is no way on earth I would have had that insight back then. It all started with questions and wanting answers. It all started with wanting to live a better life. It all started with simply not wanting to struggle. Struggling is a choice. Life is what you decide it will be regardless of the emotions you experience. I have learned that taking time to be still helps me get clear and make better choices. I've learned to ask important questions to help me continue to move forward in life. How do I feel right now? Am I struggling right now, if so why? If I am struggling, I remember that struggling is a choice and I ask myself if I really want to take that emotional rollercoaster ride that might be the next step. I've learned to BREATHE deeply and often in order to come back to right now. What can I do right now to feel better? Breathe. Maybe listening to a song or playlist or taking a walk can help me have a different feeling. Do I really need to call someone or can I figure things out myself? --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/barbara-faison/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/barbara-faison/support

I am often asked, “How do you accelerate your career?” According to a survey conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management, 72% of employees ranked opportunities for career advancement as one of the top factors influencing their job satisfaction. While job security and stability are important, the true measure of success lies in continuously expanding your skill set, seizing opportunities for advancement, and positioning yourself as a sought-after asset in the marketplace. By prioritizing personal development, strategic networking, and impactful contributions, you can pave the way for a fulfilling and rewarding career journey that transcends traditional notions of indispensability in the workplace. With this understanding in mind, here are five essential strategies to help you accelerate your career: 1. Get Stuff Done and Be Easy to Work With: The first step to becoming indispensable is mastering two key traits: being highly productive and fostering positive working relationships. Strive to consistently deliver high-quality work on time while maintaining a collaborative and supportive demeanor. By being known as someone who gets things done efficiently and collaborates effectively with others, you'll quickly become indispensable to your team and organization. 2. Avoid Gossip and Complaints: Gossip and complaints can poison the workplace environment, erode trust, and damage relationships. Focus on maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Be someone who uplifts others, fosters a culture of respect, and addresses concerns directly and constructively. You demonstrate professionalism and integrity by steering clear of gossip and complaints, making yourself indispensable as a trusted and reliable colleague. 3. Focus on Continuous Growth and Learning: Indispensable employees seek growth and improvement opportunities. Invest in expanding the skills, knowledge, and expertise relevant to your role and industry. Stay abreast of industry trends and developments and be proactive in seeking new challenges and learning opportunities. Try new things, take on projects that stretch you, or put in for a role that allows you to learn something new or a different area of the business. By continuously growing and evolving, you position yourself as a valuable asset capable of adapting to the organization's changing needs 4. Excel in Your Role: whether you're a specialist with deep expertise in a particular area or a generalist with a broad range of skills, the key to indispensability lies in excelling in your role. 5. Build a Strong Professional Network: Cultivate relationships with colleagues, mentors, and industry professionals who can support and advocate for you throughout your career. Actively seek out opportunities to collaborate with others, share knowledge, and contribute to the success of your network. B Accelerating your career trajectory requires standing out and consistently adding unique value. By honing essential skills, maintaining a positive attitude, committing to continuous growth, cultivating specialized expertise, and fostering a robust professional network, you not only solidify your position within the organization but also propel your personal and professional advancement. Becoming indispensable isn't just about job security; it's about becoming a driving force of innovation and success, both for yourself and your organization. Tis the season for backcountry hunting and fishing trips, which also brings about Dutch Oven cooking and what foods to be packing into the wilderness. Tips to save weight while keeping healthy on the trail. Plus we share the latest news headlines This is Rebecca Wanner aka 'BEC' and Jeff ‘Tigger' Erhardt with the radio show The Bend Radio Show & Podcast, your news outlet for the latest in the Outdoors & Western Lifestyle! Episode 150 Details Well here we go, Hard to believe we are NOW up to 150 episodes!! of chasing Tigger & BEC around The Bend. We've taken you down dusty roads, to switchbacks chasing elk, to fishing big waters and even taken ya'll along into the Rodeo Arena. AND THAT's why you never know what's Coming Around The Bend! SPOTLIGHT EASY BAKING RECIPE! Desserts ANYONE can make... Have you seen the latest trend on TikTok? Forget the water, TikTok creators like @jordan_the_stallion8, have been testing out the trend. Instead Mixing a ¼ cup of Dr. Pepper soda pop to a boxed brownie mix and an egg, bake like usual and you've got Pop Brownies… Well BEC hates to bust the bubble on this so-called “NEW TREND”! Our cabin master of the Dutch oven, aka Tigger, has been using soda or pop in his cakes for years when cooking over the fire! Toss in a can of your favorite canned fruit canned pie filling and BOOM - You have a Dutch Oven Cobbler! Tigger isn't the only one making delicious desserts using a can of soda pop. Head to TheBendShow.com for our good friend, Kent Rollins the Cowboy Chef and another lover of the dutchoven to grab his recipe and watch his easy “HOW TO” for an easy Old Fashioned Blackberry Cobbler. FEATURE BACKPACKING FOOD THAT'S RIGHT FOR YOU For everyone who's dreamt of packing into the backcountry from just wanting to hike, camp, fish, or hunt. Adding in miles of physical activity first off we know often causes the body not just to burn up calories fast, but also can accelerate the process of digesting food and the need for #2 quickly (yup, we're talking poop)!! Before being stuck on the trail with food that might be healthy but doesn't necessarily agree with your stomach right off the bat, you'll want to start adjusting your diet now and trying these tips BEC offers in this episode! SAVING WEIGHT The pack gets heavy fast, and especially when needing to stay hydrated too. Think food that can be consumed, the wrapping be burned or easily packed out and keep your energy intact. Today, we welcome author and Minnesota's 2014 Teacher of the Year Tom Rademacher to the podcast. Hosts Donnie and Kathleen talk with Rademacher about his two loves of teaching and writing. His books, It Won't Be Easy, An Exceedingly Honest (and Slightly Unprofessional) Love Letter to Teaching and Raising Ollie: How My Nonbinary Art-Nerd Kid Changed (Nearly) Everything I Know, combine both those aspects of Rademacher's work. Rademacher shares his reflections about the teacher shortage and what has and hasn't changed for today's new teachers compared to when he entered the classroom. He also discusses how he approaches diversity, equity, and inclusion in his practice as a white male and the need to continue learning. That learning often comes directly from students, he notes. He also mentions how he has learned to give space for others' sharing and to recognize the amount of time he is the one speaking. In closing today's episode, Rademacher talks about how diverse great teachers are and how they don't all fit the same make or model, but shares a vision for how joy, flexibility, and passion can combine to make a dynamic teacher. This week on Legal Grounds we're here to ease you into your holiday with our annual Thanksgiving Light-RoastThe past year has seen a lot of changes in my life. From stepping back from my managerial role to more jury trials than I've had in years, 2022 is on track to close out on a high-note for me.So as you can imagine, my list of things to be thankful might have to be cut short, lest the food get cold.So for this Thanksgiving, I wanted to take time to meditate on the nature of thankfulness, its causes, and the way in which it can (and should) weave its way through our lives. I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and we'll be back next week with fresh episodes!Be Easy and enjoy the show!

Many of us may know the broad outline of the civil rights movement of the 1960s. But for most of us, the details, the headline names, the level of malevolent violence and the horrific sacrifices were, at best, vague. But David Dennis, Jr., in his new book, The Movement Made Us: A Father, a Son, and the Legacy of a Freedom Ride, poignantly and vividly gives us an intimate portrait of the personal side of the civil rights movement. David wrote this book in collaboration with his father, David Dennis, Sr. His father had a pivotal role in the civil rights movement as an organizer and hero of the Freedom Rides, lunch counter sit-ins, and voter registration drives, as well as an official of the Congress of Racial Equity. Dennis, Sr.'s story exposes the risk, the relationships, and repercussions on families and lives that brings the movement to life for us. Dennis David, Jr. is an award -winning journalist and educator creates the stories of his father and the movement that has lingered in my mind and forced me to rethink today's movement for Black Rights and safety. DAVID J. DENNIS JR. is a senior writer at The Undefeated. His work has been featured in Atlanta magazine, The Atlantic, the Washington Post, and Huffington Post, among other publications. Dennis is the recipient of the 2021 American Mosaic Journalism Prize, is a National Association of Black Journalist Salute to Excellence award winner, and was named one of The Root's 100 Most Influential African Americans of 2020.
