25-åriga Stina hittas död, i hennes telefon finns mängder av meddelanden från pojkvännen. Två år senare ska han dömas för att ha uppmanat henne till självmord. Lyssna på alla avsnitt i Sveriges Radios app. – Jag pushade på att hon skulle lämna och till slut blev hon less på att höra det, så då slutade hon dela med sig istället, det berättar Stinas syster Petra. Hon beskriver den destruktiva relationen mellan sin syster Stina, som vi kallar henne, och Stinas pojkvän. Först berättar Stina om bråken men när systern tycker att hon ska bryta upp sluter hon sig. I maj 2024 tar Stina sitt liv. Familjen ställer sig frågande till varför, Stina mådde dåligt i tonåren men nu var allt bra sedan ganska lång tid. När familjen går igenom hennes telefon hittas tusentals meddelanden mellan henne och pojkvännen. De vittnar om ständiga bråk och misstro – och så någonting mer: uppmaningar från honom att hon ska ta sitt liv. Det här blir starten på en rättsprocess där pojkvännen till slut – i mars i år – döms, mot sitt nekande, för uppmaning till självmord. El discurso vuelve a utilizar el ejemplo de Abrahán y Lot, pero esta vez entrando en un terreno bastante curioso: imaginar lo que Lot pudo haber pensado de Abrahán, lo que Abrahán pudo haber pensado de Lot, y construir una enseñanza moral a partir de suposiciones que el propio texto bíblico no desarrolla. El problema es que Lot no es precisamente un personaje sencillo de usar como ejemplo positivo. En el relato bíblico aparecen episodios gravísimos que hoy serían vistos con una seriedad enorme. Pero en el discurso, el foco acaba estando en otra cosa: la convivencia, la duda, la interpretación amable y la necesidad de no pensar mal de los demás. También analizamos cómo se usan ejemplos “reales” de la actualidad para que encajen perfectamente con el argumento del discurso, reforzando una idea muy conveniente para la organización: interpreta bien, no cuestiones demasiado y concede siempre el beneficio de la duda… especialmente cuando el relato oficial lo necesita. For the past five years, the Texas Showdown Series has been slowly, inevitably, drifting west. We started in the dense, pine-soaked forests of East Texas, moved through the rugged limestone of the Hill Country, but the destination was always clear: Big Bend. Few landscapes in the world capture the heart and soul the way West Texas does. For those willing to push themselves to the edge, something different waits out there—something ancient, indifferent, and extraordinary. In the world of ultra-cycling, that "something" takes the shape of the West Texas Showdown. The WTS doesn't just test riders. It strips them down. It pushes them to their limits and then, without apology or sympathy, asks for more. Out there, the desert becomes your only companion—its silence broken only by your groans, your breathing, and the steady reminder that you are very far from comfort. And the numbers tell the story: only 32% of the field finished the course. In the Showdown category, the desert claimed all but three riders. Fifteen started. Three rolled into Terlingua. Despite the brutality of the route, the racing was electric and equally unrelenting. A small but mighty group battled back and forth across the miles, creating genuine, edge-of-your-seat dot-watching. It wasn't clear who would take the win until the final stretch, and by then everyone—riders, spectators, and the desert itself—had given everything they had. When the dust settled, here's who was left standing: 1st — Kyle Gilbert — 2d 5h 44m 2nd — Hannah Simon — 2d 16h 17m 3rd (DFL) — Robert Shine — 2d 19h 33m These three deserve every ounce of praise and recognition—not just for surviving the desert, but for putting on one hell of a race. Everyone who was out there knows how hard they had to fight, and they earned the respect of the entire field. C'est l'un des plus grands écrivains d'Irlande, Oscar Wilde est mis à l'honneur dans son pays, à l'occasion des 125 ans de sa mort. Plus d'un siècle après sa disparition, le festival Oscariana célèbre le dandy sulfureux dans sa ville natale, Dublin, où son héritage continue de vibrer. De notre correspondante à Dublin, « Voici sa statue parlante'', qui donne vie à Oscar Wilde, grâce à la voix de l'acteur irlandais Andrew Scott, dans un style très flamboyant, typique de l'écrivain ! » Mary Phelan, guide touristique, se trouve devant la statue d'Oscar Wilde. À son image : Wilde est allongé avec sa légendaire nonchalance, sourire en coin. Gravées tout autour, quelques-unes de ses citations les plus célèbres : « Nous sommes tous dans le caniveau, mais certains d'entre nous regardent les étoiles… » « Je peux résister à tout, sauf à la tentation ! » « Ce suspense est terrible. J'espère qu'il va durer… » Juste en face, nous retrouvons Martin Burns, qui est à l'origine du festival Oscariana : « Bienvenue à la maison d'Oscar Wilde ! » C'est ici qu'a grandi l'écrivain. « Il a compris ce qu'était le culte de la célébrité avant tout le monde ! Le mouvement esthétique était tourné en ridicule dans les journaux, mais Oscar a commencé à s'habiller comme les caricatures qui se moquaient de lui. Alors que d'autres artistes fuyaient cela parce qu'ils étaient raillés, Oscar a compris qu'il vaut mieux qu'on parle de vous, même en mal, que pas du tout ! » Érigé en martyr  Et son chef-d'œuvre, « Le portrait de Dorian Gray », suscita l'indignation dès sa parution. Le roman raconte l'histoire d'un homme, qui reste éternellement jeune, tandis que son portrait se défigure. Jarlath Killeen, directeur du département d'anglais à l'université Trinity, explique : « Le tableau commence à vieillir à sa place, tandis qu'il conserve sa beauté extraordinaire pendant des années, et à cause de cela, il pense pouvoir faire tout ce qu'il veut ! Il peut céder à toutes ses passions et à toutes les tentations. Cela déclenche de violentes campagnes de lettres de protestation, dans lesquelles on accuse Oscar Wilde de dépravation et d'immoralité. » Peu de temps après, Oscar Wilde est condamné à deux ans de prison pour « indécence grossière ». « Essentiellement, la prison l'a tué. Elle a brisé sa carrière, et il est décédé trois ans après sa libération. Longtemps après sa mort, le nom d'Oscar Wilde resta imprononçable, synonyme de scandale. Mais peu à peu, Wilde devint une figure utile au mouvement des premiers droits homosexuels.
