Welcome to the place where I get to let my geek flag fly and talk about all things geek. Basically a fuzzy guide to life, the universe, and everything but mostly geek stuff. This is where I look into the world of geekdom and some geek news, comics, The Simpsons, Star Wars, and whatever randomness finds its way onto the recording. This level of the podcast includes geek news for Lawrence Fishburne in Antman & the Wasp, Disney/Fox/Netflux thoughts, The Crow Reborn, Glass, Ellen Page in Netflix’s The Umbrella Academy, Sony developing a Morbius the Living Vampire movie, more geek creators who are potential scumbags, Ben Affleck re: playing Batman, Illumination Super Mario Bros movie, Battlefront II fans angry with EA, James Franco as Multiple Man for Fox, Charles Roven wants Martian Manhunter and Green Lantern movies, J Scott Campbell’s Danger Girl to be a movie and TV show, Chris McKay open casting call for Nightwing movie, a Harley Quinn animated show, Jude Law as Captain Mar-Vell, a Lord of the Rings prequel TV show on Amazon, Joss Whedon & Batgirl, Kevin Feige re: Avengers 4, the Avengers: Infinity War Trailer, New trailers for A Wrinkle in Time & Incredibles 2, a review of the Batman & Harley Quinn animated movie, plus some brief thought on Punisher on Netflix and Justice League. This monstrosity of an episode continues with TV synopsis for Stranger Things 2, Walking Dead, Supergirl, The Gifted, Rebels, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, and Arrow. There’s a bunch of comic book reviews for Flash and Wonder Woman Rebirth plus seventeen issues from the current Dark Knights Metal event. It all finishes with a farewell RIP for Star War costumer John Mollo. On this week's episode we are honored to welcome to the show Legendary Comics' Editor in Chief Bob Schreck! Bob has been a longtime fixture in the comic world. In the early eighties he worked for Creation Entertainment on their groundbreaking fan conventions and from there he transitioned to a position at Marvel and then as Administrative Director at Comico Comics. Toward the end of the last century, Bob moved over to DC Comics where he became the group editor for the Batman books as well as overseeing editorial duties on Green Lantern, Green Arrow, the creation of the All-Star imprint and later a stint with Vertigo.
