Do you ever wonder how your brain works? In this episode, we have the privilege of hosting Neurotherapist Dr. Andrew Hill, who graciously guides us through an exploration of cerebral operations. Following our participation in Quantitative EEG "brain mapping," we had the opportunity to interpret the ensuing data in real time during the podcast. Our analysis delves into an array of brain patterns, connections, and states of neural activity. Notably, several of these revelations unveil significant correlations with the daily-life symptoms I encounter and even extend to my athletic performance, all without any prior interaction with Dr. Hill. Our discussion extends to the impact of brain injuries on function, alongside an examination of how brain mapping holds promise for forthcoming athletes. We conclude by addressing pivotal lifestyle factors poised to enhance cognitive capabilities. Randy Hetrick, a former Navy Seals Special Operations Commander retired after 14.5 years of service to seek the challenge of graduating with his MBA from Stanford, where he then formulated his business plan to launch what we know today as TRX. Jana and I talk about how she developed as a way to bring equipment free training to the masses. Jana demystifies some of the elements of yoga that can be daunting to people and made the physical and spiritual experience that is Joga more approachable. We also talk at length about her own wellness journey after a severe health scare involving a car accident, on top of the responsibilities still involved with being a single Mom and entrepreneur. She leads with empathy, with passion for Joga's ability to foster holistic growth, while also allowing the universe to work its magic, presenting to Jana the answers she needs when she looks for them. This is one of my favorite podcasts to date, simply great conversation and connection in a time where this is particularly hard to come by. Interested in JOGA? JOGA Coaching Certification is available for 20% Off for all listeners using Promocode "CONNOR20". Visit https://jogaworld.com/become-a-coach/ for more information. We apologize for the technical difficulties with the recording in the first 15 minutes. #CuriousCompetitor ________________________________________________________________________ FOLLOW ALONG IG: https://bit.ly/2TiHuEn @connorcarrick Twitter: https://bit.ly/2GVWdju @connorcarrick YouTube: https://bit.ly/2OJDDl2 TikTok: @connorcarrick Facebook: @connorcarrickofficial Check out Producer Colin IG: https://bit.ly/2ZIDPSB @colinsteingard Twitter: @colinsteingard Music by: Alex Vigneault of "Ready Steady Steroids"
