This topic of reverse engineering goals has come up repeatedly in my business and with my clients lately, so I figured we should do a podcast episode on the topic! Reverse engineering makes your business into nothing more than a numbers game. It pairs your number with the singular activity that produces the results to move you closer to your goal faster.I love reverse engineering because it removes emotion from the process and breaks it down into very simple, clear numbers with very simple, clear actions.TAKEAWAYS:Start with the end in mind. What is your end goal? Once you are clear on that, work backward on the steps to get there. What are you already doing that gets you results? Sometimes it's as simple as making adjustments or doing more of what you are already doing. If it's hard, you won't do it. Resistance creeps in when there are too many steps or it's too complicated. I launched my Funnel of the Month Club in February 2023 while in isolation with COVID! Wild, right?! One year later, I've learned A LOT about running a membership, even if it my third time around! I have now been able to welcome over 400 lifetime members into this membership in it's first year. In this episode, I'm sharing 3 lessons I've learned over the past year launching my third membership, Funnel of the Month Club. My hope is that this helps you avoid some of these pitfalls I found myself in, and it helps you navigate the launching and scaling of your own membership. TAKEAWAYS:You always need to be selling your membership. Something you have to be prepared for with memberships is that people can cancel at any time. So you might lose 10 members in a month, which means you need to not on replace those 10 spots, but that you you also need to sell more, so that your membership still grows. Focus on retention. It is true that if you want consistent recurring revenue, you do need to consistently sell. But you also have to remember to retain the members you already have. One thing that I do is survey my current members to see what it is that is working or not working in the program. Then I try to implement those changes in a way that still works for me and my business, but serves the client.Simplify your membership. In a traditional membership model, whenever someone joins, they receive all the previous benefits of other members. I got feedback from some of my members who found this really overwhelming. The minute you overwhelm someone, they don't want to do the work. See where you can adjust so that joining and staying in your membership is a no brainer!RESOURCES:Find the blog post that accompanies this episode Join the Funnel of the Month Club! I'm rolling out a brand new series here on the 6-Figure Secrets Podcast where I'm answering questions submitted by our Funnel of the Month Club members! This is our first episode in this series where I'm answering questions from two of our members. First up is Dr. Katrina Cryder. Katrina is a chiropractor and has an online course called Raising Healthy Kids. Inside Raising Healthy Kids she supports her clients through a step-by-step process that helps to lay the foundation of health by removing toxins, replenishing minerals, creating a food foundation and learning how to cultivate healthy habits. As a busy brick-and-mortar owner, online program creator, and a mom of 2, Katrina wants to know that what she's doing to market her program, will produce a ROI. So her question is, “What email funnels should I focus on first?” In my response I share with her the 3 email funnels that she needs to get up and running, so that she can sell more of her program.Learn more about the Raising Healthy Kids membership here. And follow Dr. Katrina Cryder on Instagram here. The second question is from Jen Chapin. Jen helps working moms get dinner on the table and streamline their lives without any of the guilt.Jen has a thriving YouTube channel (her 137,000 subscribers agree!) that she monetizes through AdSense and paid brand partnerships. She is looking to branch out and start to offer digital products. Her question is, “How do I create paid content for my ideal client?” In my response I share that I think her next smart move is digital products and I list out multiple ways that she can sell her digital product, passively.Visit Jen on her YouTube channel where she has 137,000 subscribers (How amazing is that?!)And check out her offers on her website.RESOURCES:Visit the blog post that goes along with this episode for more resourcesGrab 50+ resources from experts in the online marketing space carefully curated to help you ditch the launch roller coaster, and enroll more clients into your course or membership, on autopilot through the Automated Sales Bundle.Join the Funnel of the Month Club.CONNECT WITH ALLISON:Follow Allison on InstagramDID YOU HAVE AN 'AH-HA MOMENT' WHILE LISTENING TO THIS EPISODE?If you found value and are ready to take action from listening to this episode, head to Apple Podcasts and help us reach new audiences by giving the podcast a rating and a review. Melissa is an Email Marketing Strategist, Coach, & Educator dedicated to helping online business owners boost student enrollment and sales for their online programs and courses by crafting effective email funnels.Having personally navigated burnout while building her first 6-figure business, Melissa has turned burnout into brilliance by sharing her experience and expertise with her students. Her students have learned to launch online courses and passively sell digital products without relying on algorithms. She is on a mission to empower online business owners to build profitable businesses using peaceful sales and email marketing strategies. TAKEAWAYSIn order to create an in-demand business, you need to create visibility and awareness. Capitalize on how you can get the most visibility. You might be on multiple marketing channels, but are they all getting you results? Or are there ones that get you more results than others? Focus on what's working for you and make it work for your offer.Creating an in-demand business requires you to be consistent. An in-demand business creates consistent leads and sales in your business. In order to get there, you have to show up consistently in whatever marketing strategy works for you.Be clear on your unique marketing strategy. You need to know who your target audience is and why they want what it is you are offering. You want to generate high quality leads so that people will actually purchase your offer or product. Ask yourself, how are you getting high quality leads? Where are you online? How is your marketing strategy working for you on different platforms? Have you ever been through a time in your business where you just don't want to work? In your mind, you want to show up. You still want to have your business, but all of a sudden it just feels like a chore? I just recently went through this after Christmas Break transitioning into the New Year. I first want to say, it's ok if you feel like this. Everyone does at some point. But maybe this is a good time for you to reflect on things in your life or business and how you can change your thinking and try things differently. In this episode, I talk about 5 ways to help you get lit up about your business again. Hopefully one or all of these will help you get your mojo back. TAKEAWAYSMaybe you just need to take a break. Taking a day or even a week off of your business is not going to hurt your business.Know what your bare minimum is. When you break down your business, the two most important things you should be doing is client work and revenue producing activities. Revenue producing activities are going to look different for everyone. Break it down to the things that have to get done to keep these two areas fulfilled and this will help you feel less overwhelmed.Have a plan. When you know what's coming next whether that's a launch or your weekly email, you know what you are preparing for which helps you zone in on those few tasks or projects instead of your business as a whole.Get off of social media. Stop consuming! Let your mind have an actual break and that's when the clarity and inspiration will hit.Get into your body. This will look different for everyone, but moving your body is one of the number one things to get your mindset in the right place. So take a walk, do some yoga, get a sweaty workout in, or maybe go on a hike. I know this will help get you in a better place.RESOURCES:Find the blog post that accompanies this episodeGet registered for the 3 Things You Need to Stop Doing If You Want to Sell Your Course or Membership Daily Video Series here CONNECT WITH ALLISON:Follow Allison on InstagramDID YOU HAVE AN 'AH-HA MOMENT' WHILE LISTENING TO THIS EPISODE?If you found value and are ready to take action from listening to this episode, head to Apple Podcasts and help us reach new audiences by giving the podcast a rating and a review. Running a business with a 7 month old is not for the faint hearted
Have you ever looked at someone you follow online and compared your business to theirs because it looks like they have it all figured out? I can bet you that in one post you cannot even know a part of the story or details that helped the person get to where they are. I bet at some point in their journey, there have been moments of failure.Everyone fails. It's a normal part of life and a normal part of business. If you haven't already, at some point you will launch something that doesn't catch. This might make you feel like you failed. But instead of looking at it negatively, look at what this launch failure could teach you. What could really propel you to the next level, is looking at your launch from a bird's eye perspective. You're going to have to ask yourself some hard questions and that's what I'm going to talk to you about today in this episode. TAKEAWAYSStop self sabotaging. Sometimes we self sabotage by hiding behind a social media platform, doing something we don't want to do, launching something at the wrong time of year. All of this can be avoided as we go back and re-evaluate our launches and try something different next time.Analyze the quality of your leads and where they are coming from. Are you getting your leads from a Bundle? Facebook Ads? Your email list? Go back and analyze to see where you saw the most conversion, and use that data to make your future decisions.Ask yourself two questions. (1) Did you really want to launch the program? And then ask, (2) what's the data telling you? If you are not willing to ask yourself these two questions, you'll do the same thing over and over expecting different results while you'll keep getting the same results.RESOURCES:Find the blog post that accompanies this episodeDownload The $80,000 Email Template CONNECT WITH ALLISON:Follow Allison on InstagramDID YOU HAVE AN 'AH-HA MOMENT' WHILE LISTENING TO THIS EPISODE?If you found value and are ready to take action from listening to this episode, head to Apple Podcasts and help us reach new audiences by giving the podcast a rating and a review. At the end of 2023 I generated 1,001 new leads, in 5 days, without paid advertising. How did I do it? I hosted my very first Bundle! What is a Bundle? A Bundle is a collection of resources that are normally paid, but are free, for a very limited time. Why is this so beneficial? The experts who contribute to the Bundle can get massively visible, and ideally, get in front of a new, qualified audience, for free. They are able to generate leads wtih a specific new group of ideal clients, who want to learn more about a specific topic. For the participants of the Bundle, they are able to grab high-quality resources, on a very specific topic, for free! In this episode of the 6-Figure Secrets Podcast, I'm breaking it all down for you and sharing EXACTLY what I did to create this kind of growth.TAKEAWAYS:Lead generation doesn't have to be complicated, hard, or even expensive. With this Bundle I put in about 10 hours of work, for 1,001 leads generated. Which I thought was a good ROI.Plan your Bundle with the end in mind. I knew I wanted to use it to grow my membership. So when considering my ideal client for the membership, I made sure to include resources that were appropriate for that client, so I was generating high quality leads.I am running this Bundle again in February to see if I can get better results. The goal is to generate 2,000 leads and to see if I can duplicate, if not imporve, the conversion rate for the Funnel of the Month Club offer I made the audience post-Bundle.RESOURCES:Find the blog post that accompanies this episode Applications are open for contributors to the next round of the Automated Sales Bundle! I want to share with you my most favorite way to increase sales for my course or membership, or my clients' course or membership. It's a super simple rate way to increase conversion rate (sales rate) of your funnel! You ready for what to do?I want you to talk about your program before you invite people to your program.I want you to not ask people to join until after introducing it in your Nurture Sequence. In this episode, I'm going to show you how to seed your program throughout your Nurture Sequence. It really makes such a difference!TAKEAWAYSMake sure that you introduce your program and some basic information about it, before actually pitching it. Your lead should know the name of your program, who it helps, what the goal of the program is and if they want to join, before you invite them to join. The purpose of the Nurture Sequence is to educate your leads. Think about it like this, the more times you talk about your program before your lead is invited to join, the more aware of your program your lead will be.Use data to help you see if these subtle changes to your Nurture Sequence are working. We did this with one of my clients, and even though the conversion increase was small, it upped her sales and that was a huge success! But we used her open rate data to help us make changes, so that we could see that increase.RESOURCES:Find the blog post that accompanies this episode Grab a FREE 14-day trial of the Funnel of the Month Club (+ over $1,800 worth of trainings and bonuses as a thank you for testing it out!) here CONNECT WITH ALLISON:Follow Allison on InstagramDID YOU HAVE AN 'AH-HA MOMENT' WHILE LISTENING TO THIS EPISODE?If you found value and are ready to take action from listening to this episode, head to Apple Podcasts and help us reach new audiences by giving the podcast a rating and a review. This episode of the 6-Figure Secrets Podcast is a bit different than what we usually talk about on the podcast. You see, normally we talk about things that help us to see and experience results. But today, we're digging into disappointment and how move through disappointments. In this episode I'm sharing four disappointments that I've experienced lately, that have really thrown me for a loop. These things have derailed me, caused me to lose way too much sleep, and made me question if I'm actually capable of growing this company to $1,000,000 by the time I'm 40. But the beauty of entrepreneurship, and actually being a human, is that we get to make a choice when things disappoint us. We can choose to crumble and let our disappointments define us, or we can decide to use them as a jumping off point. We can use our disappointments as a way to move us forward and to propel us to the next level. So in this episode of the 6-Figure Secrets I'm sharing a fairly vulnerable take on what I'm doing to move through these disappointments with the hope of helping you to navigate a disappointment you may be experiencing. Wanna know how it's possible to have a multi 6-figure business while working 15 hours a week… and starting a family and running a second business, all in one year? Once Sam DiNicola decided to start a family, she locked into a rock solid mindset and began preparing her business and life for a baby to arrive. You may recognize this digital marketing agency owner from season 2 of LITerally! She's back to share her wisdom and mindset with us in the Little Ones mini series, along with four of my other clients who are balancing businesses and babies while making great money. Sam was able to grow and evolve her agency while in the role of primary caregiver, as well as build her real estate investment business working only 15 hours a week. You heard that right - she currently has no nanny or daycare and continues to grow her businesses only working in the mornings while her very supportive husband spends precious time with their daughter. In order to run two businesses and have her daughter in her care almost 24/7, Sam made adjustments and changes very purposefully and in advance of getting pregnant. Listen to this open and honest conversation to hear the lessons she has learned, how instrumental her mindset was, and what she would do differently to make her business work for her life in the best way possible! In this episode, you'll hear: A massive win Sam experienced in her business while in the hospital giving birth (and how this can be possible for you anywhere, anytime too!) Today we're going to talk about aiming for six figures. The reason I suggest aiming for a six figure business in coaching is that I think people have the wrong goals. People often tell me they would like to get to $1,000,000 in one year when they aren't making even close to $100,000. However, it doesn't always work that way. It's about having the right goals. When Kevin, my newer client, first started with me, he told me his goal was to make $1,000,000. I told him that was a fantastic goal and asked him what he was making at the time. At the time he was averaging about $5000 a month. Now, let me be transparent with you. $1 million should not be the first goal when you are making $5000 a month. It isn't entirely realistic, as almost no business owners get there. Slow and steady wins the race. This is not a sprint, it's a marathon. Let's enjoy the journey and set realistic goals. Feast or famine months can make it HARD to run your business. If your cash influx is drastically different from one month to the next, it can be really hard to invest, hire a team, and/or pay yourself because you don't know where your next dollar is going to come from.So if you're experiencing feast or famine months I want you to know two things:1. It's normal.2. You gotta get out of it ASAP. Your foundation is rocky and no one can build on a rocky foundation.3. It's a symptom of growth. So it can be a really good indicator of the trajectory of your business. In this episode of the 6-Figure Mompreneur Podcast I'm sharing four factors that might be contributing to your feast or famine months to help you diagnose and get out of them, ASAP. There is sooooo much talk about “6 Figure” businesses and how that is supposed to be a barometer for success. But revenue is not profit. Revenue just means that you brought the money in, not that you get to keep it. Profit is what we are after. If it all goes back out the door, no matter how much comes in, we are not successful.

Yolanda King is the host of the Confident Christian Female Entrepreneur Podcast focused on helping Christian women gain the confidence skills and mindset to embrace the call to business and leadership. She teaches women how to overcome their money stories and fears to become the confident CEO God called her to be. Each week she chats all things marketing strategies, innovative leadership, and growth mindset tactics. She believes that it is possible to operate and grow a profitable business that honors God and family. Yolanda has a background in social work where she has helped dozens of women overcome life obstacles and beat the odds to accomplish their life goals and achieve success.Through the hardship of balancing a stressful career and almost going bankrupt she continued to pursue her business dreams that lead her to acquire a strong mindset and generate her first 6 figure year. Now she teaches other women how to beat the odds and achieve financial confidence while following their calling.TAKEAWAYS:Yolanda's superpower is being able to give people hope. Through her experience as a social worker she learned very quickly that people need someone to believe in them. Now in her coaching business, she is able to take that asset and lift her clients up when they are feeling discouraged, frustrated, or down.“People don't remember what you said, they remember how you made them feel.”Yolanda has a 4-pillar structure for creating confidence and success in your business. There are two internal pillars: (1) faith and (2) mindset. And two external pillars: (3) health and (4) environment.Yolanda's best tip for developing an unshakable sense of confidence is peeling back the layers of what has held her clients back in the past. Being willing to re-frame the past stories and experiences into moments and experiences that actually move her clients forward, creates a sense of confidence that spills over and impacts every aspect of their businesses and personal lives. This is the work of transformation and true impact.RESOURCES: Check out the blog post that goes along with this episode: http://www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode179Follow Yolanda on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/shescalledandconfident/Listen to the Confident Christian Female Entrepreneur Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/shes-called-and-confident/id1476948929Get registered for the How To Sell Everyday [Even When You're Not Working!] Masterclass here: https://allison-hardy.ck.page/8fef7a747dGet on the waitlist for the Lead Generation Lab's next open cart period: https://allison-hardy.ck.page/30549d1640CONNECT WITH ME:Join my absolutely FREE Facebook group, The 6-Figure Mompreneur Community: www.facebook.com/groups/themompreneurcommunityFollow me on Facebook: www.facebook.com/allisonhardy2015Follow me on Instagram (I especially LOVE InstaStories!): www.instagram.com/allison_hardy_Find me on Pinterest: www.pinterest.com/allison_hardy_ARE YOU A FAN OF THE PODCAST?If you loved today's episode head to your favorite podcast app and leave us a rating and a review! As the year is coming to an end, and the cart for the Legacy Mastermind starts to close for 2020, I've been thinking a lot about goal setting, how we can self-sabotage our goals without really realizing it, and how outside influences might and can affect how we act in our businesses. And instead of doing another goal-setting podcast, which are a dime a dozen during this time of the year, I want to dive a bit deeper into what makes those goals you set for yourself a reality, or completely unattainable. And that thing is YOU.On this week's episode I'm going to be sharing and explaining what self-sabotage actually looks like, how you might be doing this and not realizing it, and why it's the thing that is creating and keeping a glass ceiling in your business. If you want to grow your business like crazy in 2020, this episode is for you! Molly Blomeley is a fitness and nutrition coach that specializes in helping people feel comfortable and confident with their fitness and nutrition goals. After an autoimmune disease diagnosis herself she began turning her attention towards the nutrition side of fighting her disease. She has been able to help countless patients fight back from a place of pain and frustration to a place where they can feel whole again. She is a mother of two teenagers and one adorable cat. She has built her legacy with my girls and both have a role in her multiple businesses. TAKEAWAYS:Molly's superpower in her business is resilience. She is constantly being hit from every corner and has still been able to recover and come back even better than ever. Being a single mom, she has no choice but to succeed. From very early on Molly chose to surround herself with phenomenal people. It was a conscious choice on her part to make sure that excellence was around her at all times.Something that keeps Molly moving is continually moving. If she's caught up in an obstacle that isn't making sense, or a topic that is tripping her up, she'll switch gears and work on something else. She finds that when she moves away from that frustration, and then comes back to it after a period of time, when she comes back to it, everything is much clearer and she's able to work on it.While Molly views her brick and mortar and her online business very differently, there are distinct similarities between the three, it's just a different avenue for her to help and serve her clients. Something that she loves is the in-person connection that she has with her brick and mortar and how she can actually touch and talk to her clients face to face. And that has been something she has really enjoyed and found to be very impactful about the Legacy Mastermind, the in-person retreats. When you can actually sit and talk to someone who is similarly ambitious as you are, the connection is much deeper and the friendships last beyond the individual programs.Molly's legacy is showing her daughters that they can literally do anything they want to do. Money, excuses, and fear aren't good enough reasons to not pursue you dreams.RESOURCES:Check out the blog post that goes along with this episode: www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode154Learn more about Molly through her website: www.mollyblomeleyfitness.comFollow Molly on Instagram: www.instagram.com/molly_blomeleyFollow Molly on Facebook: www.facebook.com/mollyblomeleyfitnessIf you want 2020 to be the year where it all changes for you and your family, and you are FINALLY ready to create a 6-figure business on your terms, then the Legacy Mastermind is absolutely for you! Masterminds. Y'all have heard this term thrown around the online space for a while now. If you've been in my network for any length of time now, you've heard me talk about the Legacy Mastermind. And you've been on the hunt for something in 2020 and so you've considered a mastermind, what it could do for you and with you, and you're just not sure if it's the right fit for you right now.So today I want to talk more about what a mastermind is, why they exist, and why it may or may not be a smart move for you and your business. And now I'm recording this on the heels of our final Legacy Mastermind retreat this year. I was able to sit down face to face with some members of the Legacy Mastermind to reflect on this past year, plan for what's to come in 2020, and to celebrate all that we've accomplished in 2019. It was super fun, ridiculously impactful, and it's lit a new fire inside of me that I would say wasn't missing, but maybe one that I've pushed aside for a little while. So buckle up, today's episode is going to be super juicy and you're going to want to really dig deep and ask yourself some of the questions I'm going to ask you. And if it triggers you, or makes you feel uncomfortable, or maybe like I'm talking directly to you, you should listen to those internal nudges. They're there for a reason and they deserve your attention.RESOURCES:Check out the blog post that goes along with this episode: www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode153If you want 2020 to be the year where it all changes for you and your family, and you are FINALLY ready to create a 6-figure business on your terms, then the Legacy Mastermind is absolutely for you! Y'all know I love goal setting, I love systems and automation, I love business models and productivity, but time and time again I see a HUGE gap in the coaching industry. And really it's two things:(1) The actual goal setting process(2) AND the self-accountability to those goals that you setAnd it's not that your goals or bad or you have bad intentions when you set them, it's that for so many of us we don't understand what it actually takes to accomplish those goals. We know on a superficial level, as in I need to sell 10 spots in my course to create my first $10K month, but that's it. Oftentimes we don't go deeper. And I see it in myself, I see it in my clients, and so I figure if this is something I'm seeing as often as I see it, it needs to be addressed. So today I want to talk about goal setting and holding yourself to those goals and what self-accountabiltiy actually looks like. Today's episode features the audio from video #2 in the 100 Leads in 5 Days training series. In today's training video we're diving deep into the language that our ideal client is using.Bottom line: Our words MATTER. Not only can our words impact others in BIG ways, but for our potential clients, they are crucial to helping them understand what we do and how we can serve them. You guys, this is really friggin' important! Not only to make the strategy I'm going to share with you later in the week actually work, but for marketing in general. We have to let our potential clients know that we actually do get them. We see them. We understand them. And we can help them, no matter how far down the rabbit hole they may be.And while this work may seem tedious or unimportant or labor intensive, this work needs to be done.CONNECT WITH ME:Get yourself registered for the 100 Leads in 5 Days Training Series (it's FREE!): https://bit.ly/100leadstraining To read the blog post that accompanies this episode head to: www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode141 Join my absolutely FREE Facebook group, The 6-Figure Mompreneur Community: www.facebook.com/groups/themompreneurcommunity Follow me on Facebook: www.facebook.com/allisonhardy2015 Follow me on Instagram (I especially LOVE InstaStories!): www.instagram.com/allison_hardy_ Find me on Pinterest: www.pinterest.com/allison_hardy_LOVE THE PODCAST?If you LOVED today's episode and you want to pay it forward, please head to Apple Podcasts and subscribe and review the podcast! Stefanie Gass is the host and creator of The Mompreneur Mastermind Show Podcast and Podcast Pro University. Fueled by iced coffee, oversized lounge clothes, mom buns, and snuggles from her littles… she is a wife and mama on a mission. Stef's call is empowering women through faith-based business and balance mentorship, to step into their potential, and claim the success and happiness they deserve. She believes that we can profit from our passions, live proactively instead of reactively, and design a life that fuels our soul. She believes we can actually have it all. TAKEAWAYS:Stefanie hit her rock bottom moment when she had to drain her 2-year old son's savings account to pay the bills. It was her big turning moment when she realized that she was wrapped up in other people's success and chasing the money, instead of focusing on internal motivators that contribute to her happiness and success.“If you're in a dark season you're being prepared for something incredible.” There is no such thing as overnight success, you've gotta get out of your mind that this is going to be ridiculously profitable immediately. The keys to success (and quicker success) is to show up consistently and to be yourself, 100%, and unapologetically. You can't serve someone who's not committed to investing in themselves.RESOURCES:Visit Stefanie on her website: www.stefaniegass.comListen to The Mompreneur Mastermind Show: www.stefaniegass.com/podcastFollow Stefanie on Instagram: www.instagram.com/stefaniegassLearn more about Podcast Pro University: www.stefaniegass.teachable.com/p/podcastprouniversitySnag a 50% off coupon for your membership to my favorite project management system, Honeybook: https://bit.ly/allisonhoneybook Get a copy of the 33 Places to Promote Your Lead Magnet for yourself! Amy Rasdal is a working mom of two kids, ages 15 and 5, who traded her corporate job for consulting 15 years ago. Today, she makes more money than most executives and lives a very blended life with almost no boundaries, working and playing every day. As the founder of Billable with Baby, Amy helps liberate other corporate working mothers by empowering them to build their own successful consulting businesses. She's quick on the mute button and can tell you a foolproof way to do a professional conference call from Disneyland.QUICK TAKEAWAYS:Amy's super power is an uncanny ability to get to the “root cause”, which is the thing that is preventing you (or a product) from moving forward successfully. Amy attributes this to her previous career experience and intuition.Focus, prioritization, and confidence have been Amy's tools to help her create a thriving 6-figure business.Oftentimes business owners prioritize the wrong things, because they are afraid of doing the things that will actually move them forward because of fear. If you're finding yourself “busy” all the time, then you're probably not prioritizing the things that actually move you forward every single day.Amy is selective in what she overcomes vs. what she embraces when it comes to hitting and surpassing her goals. If you try to overcome too many things, then she finds that it facilitates overwhelm and then analysis paralysis.Amy's children have never seen her go to work, but they have grown up playing on the floor of her office. Having kids 10 years apart in age has made her so motivated to serve women who also want to have more options and choices for raising her kids. Two pieces of advice from Amy: (1) Starting a consulting business is a lot easier than you're thinking it can be. (2) Never let a day go by without doing something for networking, marketing, and/or business development.RESOURCES:Learn more about Amy through her website: www.billablewithbaby.comFollow Amy on Instagram: www.instagram.com/billablewithbaby/Find Amy on Facebook: www.facebook.com/BillableWithBaby/3 Action Steps to Generate Revenue Now: www.billablewithbaby.com/free-course-3-action-steps-to-generate-revenue-now/Snag a 50% off coupon for your membership to my favorite project management system, Honeybook, through this link: https://bit.ly/allisonhoneybook Get a copy of the 33 Places to Promote Your Lead Magnet for yourself! Welcome to episode #113 of the Life by Design Podcast with Allison Hardy! Today I'm sharing the story of Carrie Flynn, owner of Virtual Simplicity. She helps entrepreneurs and business owners learn how to simplify their businesses and their lives. She is obsessed with all things systems and automation and loves helping others find and implement systems to help them feel less stressed and overwhelmed. Her ultimate goal is to help others feel like they can breathe a bit easier and begin to enjoy their businesses and their lives again.TAKEAWAYS:> Carrie's interpretation of “having it all” is a bit different than past guests! For her it means doing what she can, in this season of life, and feeling satisfied with that. It's not delaying her success, but being a very practical person Carrie feels as if that the success that is inevitable for her, may look and feel a bit different, depending on her current life circumstances.> A lot of Carrie's clients work with her because of her personal life. As someone who works full-time and has kids that are far apart in ages, her story and messaging resonate with them because they feel like they “know, like, and trust” her because of her personal life, not in spite of it. This is a powerful marketing tool! > The #1 thing that holds Carrie's clients back is fear. Fear of the unknown can be debilitating, when you are scaling and growing your business. Being ready for growth is a bold move, and it requires both mindset and strategy work. > Bright shiny object syndrome and comparison-itis may serve you in the immediate, but long-term they can derail your best laid plans and goals. Hey Mama! Welcome to episode #112 of the Life by Design Podcast with Allison Hardy.Oftentimes, my clients come to me with the same problem: they are stuck in a vicious cycle of feast or famine months. They've created these amazing heart-centered businesses that helps their clients in big, amazing ways, but it's totally draining them. And they're on the verge of burn out. Inconsistency can look different for everyone but this is the inconsistency that I'm talking specifically about in this episode:> Inconsistent clients which leads to inconsistent income> Inconsistent social media which leads to inconsistent visibilityIn today's episode I'm sharing three things you absolutely NEED to have implemented in your business if you want to create consistent clients, consistent visibility, and consistent income in your business.RESOURCES: > I'm accepting two more women into the Legacy Mastermind this month! Hey Mama! And welcome to episode #109 of the Life by Design Podcast with Allison Hardy. Today's episode is going to be a bit different from what I normally share with you. Today I'm getting VULNERABLE. And when I first started recording this episode I was ridiculously nervous. In fact, I almost scrapped the entire thing. But when I started my business I made a promise to myself, and to my audience, to be truthful and upfront about everything: the good, the bad, the ugly, and everything in-between. So here goes….In today's episode I'm sharing the biggest hard lessons I had to learn in my business in 2018. Now these lessons aren't your standard, run-of-the-mill challenges, these lessons are shook-me-to-the-core lessons, lessons that made me want to crawl under the covers and hide, lessons that made me want to call this whole “online business thing” quits and delete everything. But, it was through these lessons that I learned a TON and they've really shaped my 2019. And my 2019 so far has been pretty phenomenal. So these lessons have been ridiculously helpful in shaping my year so far, they were just hard lessons to have.It is my hope that by sharing these lessons with you you'll either realize the trials and tribulations you might be experiencing are normal OR that when these things may happen to you, you know not to shut it all down and call it quits.Hard lessons are normal, it doesn't mean that we have to like them.RESOURCES: > Read the article for this podcast episode: www.allisonhardy.com/blog1/episode109> Join the 6-Figure Mompreneur Community: www.facebook.com/groups/themompreneurcommunity> Register for the 4 Steps to a Highly Engaged (and profitable) Facebook Group Webinar: https://bit.ly/engagedandprofitableMusic courtesy of bensound.com
Welcome to episode #105 of the Life by Design Podcast with Allison Hardy! Today I have the pleasure of interviewing Anita Morin. Anita is a wife to an amazing man, mother to a son, and is a part-time Physician Assistant who works in Integrative Medicine. She is also a FertilityCare Practitioner Intern and a Naprotechnology Medical Consultant Intern. Additionally, she is also a work at home mama during her son's nap time. She has been working with clients in all sorts of ways through her business: FDS Creatives. She's helped her clients with business management, content creation, editing, advising, copywriting, marketing, video editing and much more. She is passionately Catholic and this leads her to speak and write, as well as help Catholic women move their businesses forward. TAKEAWAYS:> Anita's expertise may be diverse but it all serves under one umbrella: showing women how their bodies are created and so they can empowered to make informed and faith-based decisions when it comes to their medical care. > Anita wants women to know that they are created in a beautiful light by a loving God.> One of Anita's main values is respect. When she is caring for patients as a Physician's Assistant, as she is serving her clients as a VA helping them to broadcast their message, and as a speaker and writer sharing her message with new audiences respect is the #1 most important thing for her. > Her biggest takeaway from the Legacy Mastermind is that we are not meant to do business alone, we thrive in community and as a result of the community she experienced in the Legacy Mastermind she's been able to find ways to plug into the LM community and pour into the other women as much as they poured into her.> Anita's legacy is one that is inspired by St. Paul, she wants to be remembered as faithfully obedient towards God.
