In this episode, I'm diving into beta testing and why it's such a game-changer for launching anything new. I'll walk you through how I've used it for years—like for my Be Unmistakable course and the Layout Library—to get real feedback, tweak things before going big, and score solid testimonials. We'll chat about how I run my beta tests, including how much I charge, how I keep the group small, and what questions I ask to make sure the feedback is actually helpful. If you're gearing up to launch something, this episode will give you the lowdown on how to test it out first and make sure you're onto a winner. ———— THE LINKS —

Elzie Flenard engages in a dynamic conversation with Jonathan Cronstedt about leadership, self-leadership, and the transformative journey of Kajabi. Jonathan emphasizes the evolving nature of leadership across different stages, highlighting the challenges of self-leadership and the need to overcome the desire for approval.Their discussion explores the intricate relationship between purpose, culture, and business growth, drawing inspiration from Netflix's "good goodbye" concept. Jonathan introduces the "bullseye" concept from his upcoming book, "Billion Dollar Bullseye," outlining seven core areas of focus in a business. Purpose, profit, product, prestige, promotion, persuasion, and people form the concentric rings that contribute to a company's growth.Jonathan shares valuable lessons for entrepreneurs, urging them to focus on solving real problems, remaining customer-centric, and adapting to the evolving landscape of business. As the conversation unfolds, listeners gain deep insights into the dynamics of leadership, navigating challenges, and the power of purpose in driving entrepreneurial success.Episode Highlights:13:31 - The most famous quote on culture is from Peter Drucker, who says "Culture eats strategy for breakfast", and he's right. This is one of those areas where I think the biggest mistake that most companies are making as it relates to their culture is that they're trying to be everything to everybody. And you just simply can't be that, whether you're looking at the customers you serve, the employees you have, or even your own internal goals, I really do think that you've got to get very, very precise on what those goals are and how those goals are brought about through an organization.28:09 - I don't know the right answer for you. I know the right answer for Kajabi was to remain steadfastly focused. The outcome, which was the success of our customers, meant that when our customers needed email, we built email. When our customers needed automated live events, we built automated live events. It meant that whatever our customers needed, we were committed to staying at the forefront of that for them.32:20 - I'm a much bigger fan of actual intelligence than I am of artificial intelligence. That's the AI that I choose to focus on. I think that right now, AI is an amazing tool, but it's a terrible leader. If you're counting on the fact that AI is going to replace your business, then you probably deserve to be replaced by AI. If the world needed information and that was what was important or relevant, we'd already be set; you know, all of the information is online, available for free, and in a disorganized and possibly not true fashion, but it's all out there and available. And AI is learning off of that and is a little bit better. But I think we're going to see AI go through the same adoption curve that we always see everything go through that everyone's going to get really excited about, like the Internet in 1995.Connect with Elzie LinkedInJoin the Flame StartersSupport the journeyContact JonathanLinkedIn

Blizzard, the renowned video game developer, has announced that it will be holding two playable open beta tests for the highly anticipated game Diablo 4. The beta tests will be held in March, and gamers around the world will have the opportunity to play the game on all platforms. The first beta weekend, scheduled for March 17-19, will be available exclusively to players who have pre-ordered Diablo 4. This early access will allow players to explore the game's prologue and first act, as well as the opening zone, Fractured Peaks, and level their characters up to level 25. They will also be able to take on side quests and dungeons beyond the story of Act 1. The second beta weekend, scheduled for March 24-26, will be available to all players. Similar to the first beta weekend, players will be able to play the game's prologue and first act, level their characters up to level 25, and take on side quests and dungeons. It's worth noting that progress made during the beta will carry over from weekend to weekend during the beta, but not to the full game. So, while players won't be able to continue from where they left off in the beta, they will still be able to get a good sense of the game's mechanics and get a feel for the gameplay. To participate in the beta, players will need a Battle.net account to redeem their beta code. The beta will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. In conclusion, the Diablo 4 open beta tests offer players an early hands-on experience with the game before its official release. Gamers can explore the game's opening zone, level up their characters, and take on side quests and dungeons. If you're a fan of the Diablo franchise, or just a gamer looking for a new game to play, be sure to mark your calendars for the beta weekends in March. Source: Polygon

David Meets the British TEAM Group, Part 1: Treating adolescents, Intrusive thoughts, TEAM-CBT homework, Surprises from the beta tests, and more. Greg – What were the Surprising Results of the Feeling Good Beta Test? What were the surprising results you referred to in the beta testing the new TEAMCBT App? Were there some things that weren't effective or didn't work in the way you expected? Rima – Is Psychotherapy “Homework” required in TEAM-CBT? I have a question about rapid recovery with TEAM CBT. Traditional CBT usually takes quite a lot of sessions and requires homework between sessions. How does this fit with a recovery in a single (two-hour) session? Do the patients still have to do homework? Paul – Treating PTSD with Intrusive Thoughts How can TEAM help an individual who has intrusive thoughts about a traumatic event in their past? Jessica – Treating Adolescents with TEAM-CBT Do you need to vary the therapy techniques when working with adolescents, as opposed to adults? And if so, how? Peter – Positive Reframing in TEAM—How much is “enough?” When you do Positive Reframing to reduce Outcome Resistance, how extensively do you have to do it? Do you have to include every emotion the patient has listed on their Dailly Mood Log? Do you also have to focus on most or all of their Negative Thoughts? What's the best approach? The following questions will be answered next week in Part 2 of David's encounter with the British group. Tom – Burns vs. Van De Kolk After reading The Body Keeps the Score, by trauma specialist and psychiatrist, Dr Bessel Van De Kolk, it would appear that people with complex trauma require a high degree of stabilizing work, like deep-breathing, meditation, or yoga, before they can engage with effective therapy. Otherwise, they might not have the words to describe their emotions, or might have repressed memories. In addition, they might not engage or might become destabilized and highly emotional or destructive towards themselves and other people. I wonder if that's your experience with patients you have seen with severe complex trauma in your career? Do you think the TEAM-CBT model has limitations in this area and would you refer to a trauma specialist before embarking on TEAM therapy with such a patient? Sean – Treating Somatic Symptoms with TEAM I'm curious about dealing with the somatic experiences of patients struggling with anxiety, depression, insomnia, trauma, etc. Clients can often challenge their distorted Negative Thoughts but still struggle with the somatic symptoms. I'm curious to know David's thoughts. Hassam – Treating Chronic Doubters with TEAM I'm wondering if David has had experiences with chronic doubters - obsessive doubt in which a patient might say: "Yeah, all these cognitive techniques seem good and all, but what if really I am useless and worthless, and all of this has just been a gimmick? What if it is all a lie? What if we have missed something which really would show how worthless I am ?" Basically, this is closely related to the Pure O version of OCD. OCD is known as the doubting disease, and I really want to hear David's thoughts on how he operates with extremely sticky doubting thoughts. Jacky – Treating Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) with TEAM I have a question about clients with Generalized Anxiety Disorder. When they present with multiple worries, do we need to cognitively restructure every worry? Clients with GAD often have multiple worries so we could be there for quite a while if we have to work on every single worry! End of the Part 1 Questions. David will return to the British group for Part 2 in the future, since they had many additional questions. Here is a note from Dr. Peter Spurrier to all who want more information about the British TEAM-CBT training group: If you are interested in learning more about our group, or want to contact members, please visit us at: https://feelinggood.uk.com/ You will find contact details for many of us on the "Our TEAM CBT Practitioners" page. Kleiner Spoiler: Als Teil meiner LEARN and CREATE online- Journal-Community wirst du vermutlich Ende der Woche Post bekommen. ;-) Enjoy the journey! Was bringen eigentlich Beta Tests?

Stacy Tuschl is a speaker, business coach, and the owner of The Academy of Performing Arts in Wisconsin. She is the author of the book “Is Your Business Worth Saving?” where she reveals proven strategies for pulling entrepreneurs out of a rut and launching them toward business success. I'm heading out to James Wedmore's Mastermind this week, so I'm really excited, as this is always something that I really look forward to. I go on a trip like this every ninety days and it really helps me to sit back and take in the big picture. This particular Mastermind has helped me to have a truly big breakthrough and so, next week I will be talking about my own Mastermind that I will be hosting, along with a few other female entrepreneurs, next year. I will also be talking about product development, or your product suite next week and I'm really going to dive in deep, so make sure to listen in. Today, we're talking about assessing your product and really making sure that it is something that you should be putting out there and that it really is something that people are actually going to want. Listen in, as I'm going to explain five things to you now, that you really need to know before you create your product, to make sure that you create it the right way. Show highlights: “So, first of all, it is stay in your lane.” From minute 2:10, Stacy explains what she means, when she talks about staying in your lane. If there's something that you're really good at, there's really no reason not to be doing it online. “Number two- Speak to the old you.” From minute 3:31, Stacy explains that we often forget how incredibly smart we are, in what we are doing and she reminds you that you were not always that way. You also struggled to learn these tips, tools and strategies and what is very normal and natural for you right now, was not so a few years ago. You need to take a step back and break it down until it's really super, super simple. Make sure that you're not teaching over people's heads. “Now, number three, clarify the end result.” from minute 4:42, Stacy explains that any time that you sell something, there has to be a problem- and then you have the solution for it. You need to be crystal clear about what you're actually promising to people. You need to be clear about the features and characteristics of what you're offering and what people's lives are going to feel like when they complete your program. “Now, number four is running a Beta Test.” From minute 5:34, Stacy explains what you can do, before you actually launch to the public. You can go to people who may want to buy it at a cheaper price point, or for some other bonus perks, to help you to create your product from scratch. This will be incredibly valuable for you to get to know what you really need before you launch your product to everybody. Stacy explains that people really need to pay for these Beta Tests, otherwise they will not be fully committed- even if it's a really nominal amount. “So number five, refine and optimize.” From minute 8:25, Stacy explains that this is really important. Entrepreneurs often get excited and just want to move on to the next thing, but refining and optimizing what you have already done will help you to get better results. If you have even just one person buy your product, you know that it will convert and you just need more visibility or eyes on your product and you can continue to scale whatever you are doing. Stick with what's already working and continue to tweak. Go to bit.ly/aceframework to get Stacy's free Ace Framework, which is all about gathering leads on social media and turning them into customers.
