Pour cela, elle décolle la gélatine de ses images qu'elle dépose ensuite sur des surfaces ou des volumes.Elle parle de « mues », d'une peau de l'image qui ouvre de nouveaux devenirs à la photographie.L'expositionAu Château de Tours, Sylvie Bonnot nous invite à glisser dans les plissements de l'image pour y découvrir une réalité transfigurée, où le familier et l'inaccessible se mêlent en un envoûtant ballet.L'artiste est aussi fille de forestier. Cette part intime a été ravivée lors de la destruction de la forêt familiale par une tempête fin 2019. Elle revenait alors d'un voyage au bout du monde, dans l'aridité du Cosmodrome de Baïkonour au Kazakhstan, site de lancement du mythique lanceur de satellite Soyouz, fleuron de la conquête spatiale de l'époque soviétique. Un univers technologique, bercé de désir impérial d'une conquête toujours hors de portée humaine, à des années-lumière d'une futaie à terre. La forêt pourtant reviendrait…Sylvie Bonnot a accompagné le travail des forestiers dans l'entretien et la surveillance des forêts bourguignonnes, sur ses terres natales, puis dans plusieurs régions françaises (Bourgogne, Rhône, Savoie, Guyane). Arbres, femmes et hommes, machines face aux transformations des forêts… Marcher, tailler, transformer, observer, comprendre… La révélation d'un univers à la fois intimement lié à son histoire familiale, mais laissé à distance par le souhait d'autres devenirs. C'est ainsi que l'aventure forestière s'est immiscée au coeur de l'odyssée spatiale.Dans la steppe kazakh, elle avait traqué la présence d'une grandeur passée, d'une mythologie de la conquête spatiale alors sur le déclin. L'étape suivante était logiquement la découverte, en 2022, du Centre spatial guyanais à Kourou dans le cadre de la résidence hors les murs de l'Observatoire de l'Espace du CNES. Après l'aridité, l'Amazonie guyanaise : la forêt dite primaire, la moiteur, l'inquiétante étrangeté de la fascinante canopée immergée, le combat quotidien de l'Homme face à une végétation qui le menace d'engloutissement.L'humanité et ses vains rêves d'Ailleurs, la résilience des forêts face au dérèglement climatique, à l'action destructrice des hommes : deux luttes pour une survie, deux utopies créatrices d'imaginaires, de paysages réels et mentaux que Sylvie Bonnot fait émerger de la matière photographique. Le procédé de la « mue » qui se traduit par un décollement délicat de la membrane argentique des tirages suivi d'une transposition de la gélatine vers d'autres supports cristallise un frissonnement du paysage. After several very long subjective time dream minutes, the Russian psychics have finished their training and are ready for their space mission. Now, they must travel to the Cosmodrome and board the rocket that awaits them. The Moon is calling their name. Side Chatter PLAYERS Zach – Alexandra “Sasha” Lagunov. Athletic tomboy. Pressed into service with The Project. Possesses the ability of chronomanipulation. Hannah – Kira Volkova. Pressed into service with The Project. Possesses minor mind altering abilities and can sense fear in others. Manda – Anitchka Sylvestrova. Died once before in a car accident but was revived. Possesses the abilities of astral projection, mediumship, and necrocommunication. Matt – Leo Lucasovich Petrovski. Former olympic gymnast who was talent scouted by The Project. Possesses telekinesis. Nate – Cherry.  A recent recruit, doesn’t quite know her way around. Doesn’t talk about herself much, prefers to talk about others.  Sometimes even acts mysterious for the sake of being mysterious. Possesses the power of pyrokinesis. Josh – Mikhail. Picked up by the Project early in his life. It is uncertain who his parents are. Most senior member of the team. Possesses the powers of gravity manipulation. Sam – Oskar Seviyev. Minor telepath, capable of noticing the most probable outcomes of other people’s thought processes.
