It's time to put the Year in Review on pause for a loaded week of golf in December. Andy and Brendan are relieved to be talking about current events and the content gods have delivered, providing nuggets spanning from Bethpage to the Bahamas. They begin with the Hero World Challenge and its host "Doctor" Munjal. Brendan calls for an early Thirstbucket of the Week following his yearly media availability in Albany and questions what he's a doctor of after all. PJ chimes in with some quick research finding that his doctorates may or may not be honorary, leading Andy to refer to him as "Mr. Munjal" for the rest of the show. Tiger Woods also spoke on Tuesday about his playing future and the future of the PGA Tour. He stayed in line with reports about Brian Rolapp's 20-event schedule coming as soon as 2027 and confirmed that he'll be OUT for Jup Links in the first half of the TGL season. Brian Rolapp found himself in front of a microphone last week and made sure to mention that the "middle class matters," which is sure to put the minds of mules at ease. In more from the Ryder Cup that will never end, Justin Thomas appeared on the No Laying Up podcast for a wide-ranging conversation about the American loss at Bethpage. Within the interview, JT took exception to the green speeds at The People's Country Club and said that they were not what Keegan Bradley asked for. December 3, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 58 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right into talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers making several transactions on Tuesday as they get ready to play the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. We discuss the waiving of CB Darius Slay and how the writing was on the wall for that move to happen. We also discuss Slay being waived with a non-injury settlement and what that may or may not mean. We also discuss the problems the Steelers have had when it comes to signing defensive players over the age of 30. The Steelers claimed former Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen off waivers on Tuesday so Alex and I discuss that transaction. We go over Thielen's fit on offense, how much playing time he might see, and what is addition to the 53-man roster might mean when it comes to WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling, who remains on the team's practice squad. We discuss the possibility of both Thielen and Valdes-Scantling playing on Sunday against the Ravens. The Steelers won't have DT Derrick Harmon (knee) on Sunday so we discuss what a big deal that might be when it comes to stopping the Ravens' rushing attack in Baltimore. We also make sure to go over the fact that CB James Pierre (concussion) and ILB Patrick Queen (glute) are starting the week off with questionable listings after both were injured in the game this past Sunday. Steelers HC Mike Tomlin held his weekly press conference and Tuesday, and he certainly gave us quite a few talking points to discuss. We roll through the notable things Tomlin said on Tuesday. The outcome of the Steelers Sunday game against the Ravens has a large swing of playoff probabilities attached to both teams so Alex and I go over what ESPN has listed. We also discuss how there's a good chance that the AFC North division might be won by a team with a 9-8 record. With the All-22 tape from the Steelers' Sunday home loss to the Buffalo Bills now fully digested by us, Alex and I discuss the bad, ugly and very little good that we uncovered from that when it comes to the team's offensive, defensive, and special teams play. Should TE Jonnu Smith be sat down for Sunday's game against the Ravens? We go over some seldom-used stats related to how the Steelers' offense has performed so far this season when he is on and off the field. If Tomlin remains the head coach of the Steelers past the 2025 season, will and should the Steelers fire OC Arthur Smith and DC Teryl Austin? Alex and I make sure to address that question later in this show.
