Recent statistics show the UK's migration is at a record high. In April 2022, the British government stated that any asylum seeker entering the UK ‘illegally', from a ‘safe' country, such as France, could be sent to Rwanda to have their asylum claims processed there rather than in the UK. If these claims were successful, they could be granted refugee status and allowed to stay in Rwanda. If not, they could apply to settle in Rwanda on other grounds or seek asylum in another safe third country. Despite being deemed unlawful by the UK Supreme Court in November 2023 as a breach of the European Convention on Human Rights, the safety of Rwanda Bill was passed on April 22nd of this year, meaning the first deportation flight to Rwanda could take off as early as July 1st. Now this bill remains extremely contentious with many experts claiming the bill is doomed for failure. We are thrilled to be joined by one of these experts today, Mireia Faro SarratsMireia Faro Sarrats is the communications officer at the European Council on Foreign Relations.Previously, she worked as a communications officer at the European Institute of the Mediterranean, a public affairs officer at the United States Consulate General in Barcelona, and in the communications department of the European Agency for Fundamental Rights in Vienna. She holds a BA degree in journalism from the Universitat Ramon Llull – Blanquerna and an MA in human rights, democracy and globalisation, from the Open University of Catalunya.

Money is not everything but it is something.  While most of us agree on this basic statement, we still do not quite understand what is the right relationship to have with money. How much money is too much money? How much money is enough? What is the right way to think about money? These are some questions that remain perpetually unanswered for a lot of us, in the busy lives that we lead these days. With the employee performance appraisal season right around the corner in the Indian economic cycle, money is definitely one of the hot topics flowing around. And there wouldn't be a shortage of questions and concerns that pop up in our minds about it.Am I getting paid enough?Should I switch jobs? Will that promotion make it all worth it?Should I look out to get a higher salary or benefits? All of these are important questions. And there are better answers to them than "It depends." or "It's all relative". We just need to open our eyes and see things the way they are, not the way we think they are. ad servum noxiae    This week's episode continues my Illuminated Institutions series with Freemasonry Pt. 5. On this addition of The Oddcast I look into the texts concerning the oaths, & obligations in various Freemasonry manuals, & Degree Ceremonies. What exactly are they agreeing to? Is it, once a Mason, always a Mason even if you leave the Lodge? Are you bound to support hierarchy even if you disagree with them, or other brothers?   We look at that, & other aspects as we continue our learning journey on The Craft, it's endless teachings, & connections. Thank you for listening. Now, time to take that trek once again. Time to go deep down the rabbit hole, far beyond the mainstream!     Cheers, & Blessing     Freemasonic Term: Vouchsafe     To promise or agree, condescendingly, because it is in your power; to bestow a special favor.  To vouch as safe.       IN HOC SIGNO VINCES-   BY THIS SIGN THOU SHALL CONQUER     Who are they conquering?       Ralph Epperson-America's Secret Destiny   https://youtu.be/LM2no-tf6rM       Freemasonry, & The New Age   https://mysteryoftheinquity.wordpress.com/elite-symbolism/freemasons-build-a-new-age-movement/     And thus the warfare against the powers of evil that crushed the Order of the Temple goes steadily on, and Freedom marches ever onward toward the conquest   Of the world. ALbert Pike, Legenda     "An invisible hand is guiding the populace." Lafayette     MORALS AND DOGMA:   "Such, my Brother, is the TRUE WORD of a Master Mason; such the true ROYAL SECRET, which makes possible a HOLY EMPIRE of true Masonic Brotherhood. Albert Pike       Masonry's "... ceremonies, symbols, and the celebrated legend of Hiram in the Master Mason's degree, were directly borrowed from the 'Ancient Mysteries,' or   the secret worship of Baal, Osiris or Tammuz. Edward Ronayne, Writer of Freemasonry Manuals       James H. Billington, who received his doctorate as a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, and has taught at Harvard and Princeton Universities. He wrote this in his book entitled FIRE IN THE MINDS OF MEN: "This book seeks to trace the origins of a faith - perhaps THE faith of our time. What is new is the belief that a perfect secular order will emerge from the forcible overthrow of traditional authority."     A dungeon horrible, on all sides round, As one great furnace flamed, yet from those flames, No light, but rather "darkness visible" Served only to discover sights of woe. (Milton, Paradise Lost, Book I)     The light of a Master Mason is darkness visible. (Masonic Ritual, Ceremony of Raising to the Third Degree) -     W.M. (Still holding the Five Points of Fellowship) It is thus all Master Masons are raised from a figurative death to a reunion with the former companions of their toils. Brother Wardens, resume your seats. Let me now beg you to observe that "the light of a Master Mason is darkness visible," serving only to express that gloom which rests on the prospect of futurity. It is that mysterious veil which the eye of human reason cannot penetrate unless assisted by that light which is from above. Yet, even by this glimmering ray, you may perceive that you stand on the very brink of the grave into which you have just figuratively descended, and which, when this transitory life shall have passed away, will again receive you into its cold bosom.       It is my theory that the geometric shape of the U.S. Pentagon building was chosen because it represents the 5 points of fellowship in Freemasonry. Connected at its points the Pentagram m, which represents the five points, fits perfectly within the Pentagon in sacred geometry, and so does the point within the circle.   Odd Man Out     Luciferian Light Order (Albert Pike Quote On Their Homepage)   https://luciferianorder.com/     Scotch Rite Masonry Illustrated   (Hand Signs, & Rituals)   https://archive.org/details/scotchritemasonr01blan     Terms In Royal Arch Freemasonry   https://sites.google.com/site/globechapter7/history/royal-arch-terms-definitions     Universal Masonic Lodge Directory   https://quod.lib.umich.edu/cgi/t/text/text-idx?c=moa;cc=moa;rgn=main;view=text;idno=AHK6782.0001.001     Albert Pike-KKK?   https://larouchepub.com/eiw/public/1993/eirv20n10-19930305/eirv20n10-19930305_066-how_gen_albert_pike_proved_himse-lar.pdf     "Freemasonry is a fraternity within a fraternity -- an outer organization concealing an inner brotherhood of the elect ... it is necessary to establish the existence of these two separate and yet interdependent orders, the one visible and the other invisible. The visible society is a splendid camaraderie of 'free and accepted' men enjoined to devote themselves to ethical, educational, fraternal, patriotic, and humanitarian concerns. The invisible society is a secret and most August [defined as 'of majestic dignity, grandeur'] fraternity whose members are dedicated to the service of a mysterious arcannum arcandrum [defined as 'a secret, a mystery']." [Manly P. Hall, Lectures on Ancient Philosophy, p. 433]     Visible, & Invisible Masonry•   "By 'Visible Masonry' they meant the congregation of Masons into Lodges, which were often affected by the contagious vices of the age in which they lived. The former is perfect; the latter continually needs purification." (Albert Mackey, 33rd Degree, "Encyclopaedia of Freemasonry", 1873, page 829)     "There is no dissociation between the One Universal Church, the sacred inner Lodge of all true Masons, and the inner-most circles of the esoteric societies."   Alice Bailey, Externalisation of the Hierarchy     "Masonry, like all the Religions, all the Mysteries, Hermeticism, and Alchemy, conceals its secrets from all except the Adepts and Sages, or the Elect, and uses false explanations and misinterpretations of its symbols to mislead those who deserve only to be mislead; to conceal the Truth, which it calls light, and draw them away from it." Albert Pike [Morals and Dogma, p. 104-5, 3rd Degree]     "The new religion will manifest, for instance, through organizations like Masonry. In Freemasonry is embedded the core or the secret heart of the occult Mysteries - wrapped up in number, metaphor and symbol. When these are purified of the extraneous accretions which have crept in over the last 7,000 years, these will be seen to be a true occult heritage. Through the Orders of Masonry, the initiatory path will be trodden and initiation will be taken along the 1st-ray line of Power." If China is serious about this pledge, there are huge implications for Australia’s fossil fuel industry and the Federal Government’s plans for a gas-led Covid-19 recovery. In this 3. program about the externalisation of EU border policies, we will be bringing you an interview with research at Stop Wapenhandel, Mark Akkerman. We will talk about the companies who profit from the policy of externalisation, how some achieve double-gain of the so-called refugee crises and come to establish themselves as counciling experts in EU. In second part of the program, we will talk with Reduan an activist in Ceuta, one of the Spanish enclaves on the African mainland with border to Morocco. As part of the externalisation policies of the EU, Morocco has what is called 'advanced status partnership' with Europe since 2001 which gives political advantages in trade and political affairs. The European Union accounts for more than half of Morocco’s trade and EU provides morocco with billions of Euro in aid for security and development. The border between Morocco and Spain is one of the most fortified borders of the EU and one that has served as a laboratory for EU’s policies of externalization proving inspiration for the EU-Turkey agreement for example. Redaun is part of watchthemed (an online mapping platform to monitor the deaths and violations of migrants' rights at the maritime borders of the EU) and Alarm phone (a hotline for people’s boat in distress, pushing authorities to carry out rescue missions). He also does media work around the situation in the Spanish colonies. We have asked him about his work in Ceuta and how he sees the situation there. Thanks to Daniel Cariola for the translation.
