Nearly 3 years later, there is no progress whatsoever and $9 million allocated to the project by the state is missing. Now, investigations have been launched and the story has shifted to the Nevada legislature. The story may not have been uncovered and certainly would not have received the amount of attention it has if not for the dogged efforts of KRNV News 4 evening anchor and investigative reporter Joe Hart. This episode, host Ben Margiott and Joe walk listeners through the Uprise Fiber scandal from the start. How did this happen? Who is to blame? Are the people responsible being held accountable? And how can the state put in safeguards to prevent this from happening again? The presence of externally electrically conductive fiber internet cables can significantly impact the habitability of vast areas from an EMF perspective, depending on individual sensitivities and goals regarding non-native EMF (nnEMF) exposure. If your local provider does not utilize such cables and refrains from transitioning from fiber to copper outside residences, the risk of large areas becoming uninhabitable diminishes. However, even under the most favorable circumstances, the absence of ONT (fiber modem) units free from Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) remains a challenge, though perhaps advancements will occur in the future. Presently, for the majority, without personalized guidance from a qualified EMF consultant, it may be advisable to steer clear of fiber internet and refrain from investing in properties located in regions plagued by externally electrically conductive fiber internet cables.Support the showSupport this podcast here: https://www.emfremedy.com/donate/Keith Cutter is President of EMF Remedy LLChttps://www.emfremedy.com/YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCp8jc5qb0kzFhMs4vtgmNlgThe EMF Remedy Podcast is a production of EMF Remedy LLCHelping you helping you reduce exposure to harmful man-made electromagnetic radiation in your home.

There has been a great deal of attention given to 5G and the speeds that will be obtained at the edge. As a result, the Internet infrastructure will have to support a great deal of additional data. Will the internet become a congested nightmare? Dr. Michael Lebby Dr. Michael Lebby and Lightwave Logic have a solution. After years of research and development, their proprietary electro-optic polymer technology can integrate with fiber cable and increase data transfer by 3 times the current speeds at reduced power consumption. In addition to the speed, the recent acquisition of Chromosol enhances the polymer itself by weather proofing them substantially reducing the total solution cost. Dr. Lebby provides a very easy to understand description of the technology and the markets that could take advantage of their product. Check it out – this will have a significant impact on the internet moving forward. About: P2IC™ (Polymer Photonic Integrated Circuits) are ideally positioned to be one of these new technologies. Lightwave Logic's devices are made using conventional wafer-scale processing such as used for microelectronics and therefore similarly capable of being integrated. In addition, the polymer microfabrication processes are compatible with other materials platforms such as Silicon Photonics and Indium Phosphide which are now starting to become more integrated. In particular, the Silicon Photonics ecosystem has recently accepted that its roadmap will include adding more and more materials, each for their specific benefits. EO polymers' speed and voltage advantages are attractive additions to this ecosystem. For more information, go to: https://www.lightwavelogic.com/ or call (720) 340-4949

Welcome to episode 268 (“Age of Bossware”) of the EdTech Situation Room from August 31, 2022, where technology news meets educational analysis. This week Jason Neiffer (@techsavvyteach) and Wesley Fryer (@wfryer) discussed what to expect from Apple's iPhone 14 event, the ongoing mystery of Apple's "Self Repair Program," and the impracticality of DIY repairing iOS and MacOS. Other topics included Google's Chrome browser PWA store, the expansion of Google's residential Fiber Internet service, and an announced partnership between T-Mobile and SpaceX for Starlink and 5G cellular service. Geeks of the Week included OpenCore Legacy Patcher (a free way to run latest MacOS on older Apple hardware,) software to bulk-edit Google Calendar events, NASA Artemis wallpaper, and a great "Land of the GIANTS" podcast episode on "The Facebook Election."
