Probably Seamus Heaney at some point. We're back after our brief excursion to Starfleet to talk about The 13th Warrior, an often forgotten film, so much so that most people don't even realize it's meant to be a retelling of the epic story of Beowulf. Joining Matt and Frank for this #deepdive is Andrew Radespiel, part-time lawyer and full-time history buff. The end of the Snyder-verse is upon us and the Post Credits Podcast is here to talk about it! Joining Matt and Brian is return guest Andrew Heath to talk about Justice League: The Snyder Cut. We cover it all, the insane plot, the guilty pleasure action, the absolutely piss poor CGI effects in what most would consider Stephen Sommers' last really popular film. Currently Louisiana Pacific’s General Sales Manager for the entire West Region, Chad has 14 years of experience in the construction material industry and a vast amount of knowledge about supply chain issues and what exactly is going on in new home construction these days. Today, he gives listeners a behind the scenes glimpse of the impact that the pandemic has had upon so many aspects of new home constructions. Chad begins by sharing what he is seeing in his industry these days, the causes and many effects of the pandemic, how home builders have responded to these challenges, and the rise in new home construction and material costs. With our hosts, he then explores the many factors that are involved in trying to predict the future of home building, ‘catching up the supply’, and the overall economic impact. On the back of our discussion of Citizen Kane comes the discussion of a movie made nearly 80 years after Citizen Kane, about the making of Citizen Kane. Mank is the 2020 offering from director David Fincher, exploring the troubled and complex person that was Herman J. Mankiewicz. A man who would be the writer of a movie that man consider the best American film ever made. Mankiewicz must contend with William Randolph Hearst, Marion Davies, Orson Welles, and Louis B. Mayer on his journey to not only write the script while bedridden, but to advocate for his own credit on the film. An all star cast features Gary Oldman, Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins, Tuppence Middleton, and Charles Dance. Not for the uninitiated, Mank calls back to the movie that inspired it on a level that should remind listeners to give Citizen Kane a rewatch before digging into Mank. Joining Matt and Trevor in the Nighthawks Diner is Guest Co-Host Cameron Maris, who also is the Nighthawks Podcast Oscar Czar, and member of the Nighthawks House Band: Middle Class Joe. At times during our lives, and particularly now with all that the world has been through, as well as the current busy-ness arising as we emerge from lockdown, it can become easy for us to lose sight of all the behind the scenes pieces that make our life and ourselves work. Matt and Garrett are beginning to have a lot of conversations about this topic lately, and that has resulted in today’s episode which looks at the need to bring to light the pieces of our lives that we need to be focusing on to be our best, healthiest selves. They begin by reviewing the need to take care of ourselves, particularly maintaining physical, financial, and personal relationship health. They examine the notion of non-negotiables in our lives and how the changes to routine have impacted them. The ’75 Hard’ initiative is discussed (and you are invited to join Matt in completing it), as is the sense of urgency created by our current circumstances which can keep up from focusing on ourselves. The episode concludes with our hosts’ challenge for listeners to make a list of one non-negotiable to implement for each of the areas of physical, financial, personal relationship, and business health. Ninja Selling is all about the complete package of ensuring a better life overall, and today’s episode provides the information, insight, and advice to both reflect and act upon this key concept, making this is yet another episode that everyone needs to hear. Episode Highlights: Taking care of yourself behind the scenes The importance of maintaining physical, financial, and personal relationship health Non-negotiable activities How the change to routine has impacted our non-negotiables The 75 Hard and how it curbs excuses The sense of urgency created by current circumstances in the world Focusing on ourselves right now Making a list one non-negotiable for physical health, financial health, personal relationships, and business Joining Matt in completing the Hard 75 Quotes: “If your heath is on point, it’s going to be a lot easier to get your business on point as well.” “Ninja Selling…is a much bigger picture than, ‘Let’s just make more money and do more business’…this is a whole package we need everybody focusing on.” “This is where the non-negotiables can kind of get pushed off the side if we’re not careful about it.” “You’re rewiring your brain is what’s really going on when you go through this.” “You need to be disciplined to get through it.” “This is the time to do the easy stuff consistently to make sure that we’re continuing to grow in the way that we want to grow.” “We’re always on a journey…There’s always a new, better version of ourselves that we’re building and striving towards.” “It is a mental challenge…to see if you can strengthen that will power internally.” “We’re all in this together.” Links: www.TheNinjaSellingPodcast.com Email us at TSW@TheNinjaSellingPodcast.com Ninja Selling www.NinjaSelling.com @ninjasellingofficial Ninja Coaching: www.NinjaCoaching.com @ninja.coaching Garrett garrett@ninjacoaching.com @ninjaredding Matt matt@ninjacoaching.com @matthewjbonelli Mel Robbins video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tikrn8ZaKQA

Initially open with counter service only for breakfast and lunch, it quickly morphed into a full-service restaurant for breakfast and lunch (available 7 days a week), with dinner (available Tues-Sat) added soon after. A roof was added over the patio to accommodate more seating and extensive landscaping was done to make pleasant places for people to wait for tables. The on-site garden was started shortly after opening as a place to grow flowers for the tables and is now a full kitchen garden, with paid staff, growing produce, herbs, and flowers for use in the restaurant - garden produce is featured in the evening specials. Jargon is open for dinner seven days a week and features “social cuisine” - small, interesting, beautifully presented, share plates. Their food is intended to be the catalyst for conversation over dinner. They set the mood with background music played on vinyl. Both places offer small batch sodas and interesting cocktails. Both places have won awards from Stu Helm, The Food Fan - Sunny Point Café's Shrimp ‘n' Grits received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Stu in 2018 as he retired the category after presenting it to them multiple years in a row. Jargon won for Best New Restaurant the year they opened.Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/Mittan)
