Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Ronnie Coleman, Kevin Levrone, Mike Tyson, Dariusz Wosz….

In episode #28, Chris and Sean recap the interviews with Kevin Levrone, Flex Wheeler, and Lee Priest. They discuss what stood out to them, and what made these guests so special. Kevin lost his father at age ten, and his mother by twenty. How did Keven handle that, and what gave him the strength to carry on? Flex has been suicidal since he was a teenager, had his career cut short in need of a kidney transplant, and had his leg amputated just below the knee in late 2019. Why does he consider himself lucky? Lee Priest will most likely offend you. But, he doesn't care what you think about him! He's tattooed his entire body, paints his fingernails different colors, and dyes his hair. If you think that looks crazy, just wait until you hear crazy! In this episode I have the great pleasure of interviewing the legend himself Kevin Levrone. Unfortunately the episode is cut a little bit shorter than usual, but we simply ran out of time. Kevin promised to comeback for a part 2. Please do me a favor, share this podcast in your instagram story, and tag Kevin and myself @byjschristensen - Let him know if you appreciated it. Thanks for tuning in.

In the latest episode of the industry's number one podcast show, we have these most epic of guests. We kick it off with last year's runner-up in the 212 Olympia, Derek Lunsford. As Derek starts his Olympia prep, we discussed: • His improvements in his Olympia prep so far • The new mindset he has evolved since taking second to Flex Lewis last year in Las Vegas • How bodybuilders need to voice their opinions to the rest of the industry movers and shakers to improve the current state of affairs • His friendship with Guy Cisternino and the supposed beef Guy had with him in a recent video • The lowdown on his new and current sponsors • Why he feels he is already the new representative for the 212 division • How he feels about his rematch with Kamal Elgargni at the upcoming Mr. Olympia contest Then we had the sensational new rookie from Canada, Joe Seeman, who after turning pro at the Toronto Pro weekend in the amateur division was onstage just a few hours later with the pros and took an amazing 4th place against such heavy hitters as Jon De La Rosa and Iain Valliere. Finally, in this packed installment of “Global Muscle Radio,” we heard part two of bodybuilding legend Vince “The Prince” Taylor. By popular demand, we got Vince back on to share more stories from the ‘90s when he was battling it out with legends like Kevin Levrone, Dorian Yates, Lee Haney and Shawn Ray. At 63, he still looks and sounds like a man 25 years his junior. Vince takes us right up through his career from the 1995 Olympia to 2006 when he placed just outside the top 10 at 50 years old! And of course, he flexes those STILL amazing arms of his and tells us how he trains and eats now to look so damned good even today.
In this “Legends and Champs” episode, MD Global Muscle Radio has raised the bar to the next level yet again. In the perhaps most EPIC installment of the weekly bodybuilding podcast that, like its guests, is on the RISE, we have: ‘90s bodybuilding legend Vince “The Prince” Taylor, who shared: • His beginnings in the sport back in Germany in the US Army in the ‘80s. Living large in Berlin. • His influence from bodybuilding superstar John Brown, who taught him how to develop his physique, his business in bodybuilding, and of course how to pose like only a rare few have ever managed to do. • The origins and secrets behind that famous 1991 Mr. Olympia Terminator posing routine (often imitated afterward, but never duplicated). • The diet that changed his physique almost OVERNIGHT. • Tells us about the biceps tear that almost ended his pro bodybuilding career before it barely began. • Winning the 1998 NPC Nationals, to winning the Night of Champions and placing third at the 1989 Mr. Olympia behind Lee Haney and Lee Labrada in Rimini, Italy, all in under one year. • The Grand Prix Tour stories and his victory at the British Grand Prix in 1995 beating the hot favorite, Kevin Levrone. • How he manages to still look and feel so great at 63. Secrets revealed to staying so young and fresh. All this in part one – to be continued in part two in a future episode of MD Global Muscle Radio. Then we had 7-time Mr. Olympia Phil Heath dropping in to tell us all about being the FIRST for our NEW MD Global Muscle Pro Tour coming to the U.K. in July! Phil also shares his latest news, tells us all about his numerous exciting projects, and gives us his opinion on his return and how he sees the 2019 Olympia playing out. Next we had the unbelievable female bodybuilder Margie V. Marvelous HOT off her recent dominating Toronto Pro win! Margie shows us the stunning muscular, feminine physique as well that we think could become the number ONE female bodybuilder in the world this year! And finally, we had the all-time legend of legends, the one and only 8-time Mr. Olympia Ronnie Coleman to speak about his new project launching very soon with GMR's Giles and AJ.
Episode 82 of Muscle Asylum Radio, and we are joined by former IFBB Pro and Multiple Australian Bodybuilding Champion, Andy Cunningham. We cover topics such as what it was like training with Ronnie Coleman, Lou Farigno's calve implants, Kevin Levrone getting knocked out in Golds Gym Venice Beach, getting thrown out of Sizzler with Lee Priest, and which pro's partied the hardest in the 90's. So many classic stories all packed into one great episode!
