#148: Learning to Trust the Signs with Laura Poburan Today we are speaking with Laura Poburan. Laura is a mentor to health, wellness, and nutrition coaches who dream of leading their clients beyond the scale into lives of freedom, fulfillment, and happiness. Laura and her husband turned $100K of debt into the key that ultimately unlocked their freedom.  Her story is one of sacrifice, ownership, and rising to the standard she now holds for all of the people she works with - one of purpose and passion to change the world by first creating a world you are proud of and thrive in.   In this episode, we discuss: There are times in our lives where we follow our choices and chase our dreams and then when we get “there” we realize that it is not what we wanted. Life is a container of the choices we do and don't make. We must be willing to listen to and trust our intuition and have difficult conversations. Holding onto the things that no longer serve us is far more challenging than actually following through on the decisions that lead us to where we are meant to be. Owning our choices is where we find our freedom. Too many people stay stuck, small and suffocating when just on the other side of their fear is a world brimming with every pleasure they are fighting for in their current reality. We can completely re-write our story at any point in time. #146: The Power of Guided Journaling with Christine Bergsma Today we are speaking with Christine Bergsma, Author, and Keynote Speaker.  Christine’s company, Journaling Through continues to set the bar for mental wellness, self-care, and empowerment in the progressive healthcare field. A holistic approach to our workshops, motivational speaking, and guided journals form the cornerstone to synergistically align all the parties involved. Known for her customization, ability to actively engage the audience with practical skills and insights, she masterfully facilitates and delivers information in a way that is understandable, actionable, and uplifting. Christine is recognized as an authority on sustainable self-care methodologies through decades of academic research and in-field experience. Having overcome Complex Post-traumatic-stress-disorder (C-PTSD), her understanding of holistic healing, when faced with a life-altering event, is transformative and empowering.   In this episode, we discuss: Everyone has mental health; it is a part of all of us. We must recognize the impact of our experiences and stories that have impacted and affected our mental health. Recognizing the trauma symptoms, we experience with PTSD and complex PTSD. Our bodies continue to go through physical experiences even though we are not in danger.  Learning the triggers helps us to navigate these symptoms and experiences. Christine shares how journaling became the key to working through the PTSD symptoms. This led to the creation of Journaling Through as she found the power of Guided Journaling and how different this was from regular journaling. Creating change in our life typically requires trying multiple different things such as a different therapist, new habits, and learning to process and let go of the guilt. Understanding that our experiences are not our fault. We can choose how we can respond and what we can do with our lessons.    Connect with Christine Email: info@journalingthroughlife.com Website: www.journalingthroughlife.com Digital Journaling Platform Physical gift journals https://www.journalingthrough.life Instagram: https://instagram.com/Journaling_Through Facebook: https://facebook.com/JournalingThrough   Connect with Marsha: Fill out the Radical Responsibility Mastermind Application to book your Discovery call https://forms.gle/KWFSB1a42eSP9yx8A   About me – Marsha Vanwynsberghe — Author, Speaker, and Life Coach Marsha is the 6-time Bestselling Author of “When She Stopped Asking Why”.  She shares her lessons as a parent who dealt with teen substance abuse far past the level of normal experimentation. Marina's mission is to help people scale the reach of their voices and to stand out and be heard. She is highly involved with Entrepreneurs' Organization as the Canadian host of the global Forum Confidential podcast, Culture Expert for Canadian chapters, and contributor to Global Student Entrepreneur Awards. In this episode, we discuss: Marina's strength is developing proprietary personal branding methodology and helping leaders be seen through the power of their personal brand. The vulnerability of connection is emotional ROI. Vulnerability is critical to connecting with others.  Being grateful for all of the lesson's life is trying to teach us. It is not for us to understand our lessons, sometimes we simply have to trust that they are here to teach us something about ourselves. We are a brand, our business, our message, we are the brand. We must practice self-awareness of ourselves and secondly, we must Own it all. This is where we practice vulnerability.  This is owning all of who we are! The next step is to own our uniqueness. There is a reason we are who we are.  Lastly, we need a platform to stand up and to stand out. Incredible things can happen when we consistently show up and own who we are.  Our people can see us! Neldy Germain is a black creative artist specializing in large visual projects, community initiatives, and pop culture commentary. While Neldy is recognized as one of Montreal's most influential people, he'll lean into his Floridian identity when it's relevant to the conversation. Most recently, Neldy can be seen contributing to Le Brotherhood talks and Lululemon's The Huddle event. His work has been featured in online publications, printed on the cover of magazines and displayed in museums. This father of two is a lover of bacon, hater of mayo, and bringer of hot takes on his podcast, The All Dressed Special. In this episode, we discuss: Be all in! Don't let fear hold you back from the opportunities that are always available and right in front of you. The minority will never change the majority. It is up to the majority to change the majority.  We, as the majority, must speak up.  We cannot be silent. We must use our voices to impact and support the minority. “If sharing my story can help you to go further, then more of us need to share our stories.” Our stories are so important in helping each other to keep going further than we thought possible. Do the things you want to do as that will lead to fulfillment. Your happiness will open more doors than chasing money ever will. Figuring out what you want is a long process. It always requires taking introspection first.  It is an internal job and commitment to focus on what we truly want to create. As we know better, we must do better. ~ Maya Angelou   Connect with Neldy Twitter https://www.twitter.com/neldygermain Apple podcast https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/the-all-dressed-special/id1454750916 Podcast on Spotify https://open.spotify.com/show/0BwqGfGGMQLUomQ0IbsL4q Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/neldyg   Connect with Marsha: Fill out the Radical Responsibility Mastermind Application to book your Discovery call https://forms.gle/KWFSB1a42eSP9yx8A   Marsha Vanwynsberghe — Author, Speaker, and Life Coach Marsha is the 6-time Bestselling Author of “When She Stopped Asking Why”.  She shares her lessons as a parent who dealt with teen substance abuse far past the level of normal experimentation. Leisse Wilcox is a transformational life and mindset coach who teaches purpose-driven individuals how to elevate their impact using emotional intelligence. A passionate speaker, dynamic thought leader, author, NLP practitioner, podcast host, taco enthusiast, cancer survivor, and mom of three, her entire experience has been about coming home to her truest self, and to call herself “beloved.” Leisse teaches purpose driven individuals to turn the difficult and ugly into something purposeful and beautiful, using a process she calls “Emotional Alchemy, “and genuinely believes that changing the world starts by making the changes we want to see within ourselves, first.  An expert featured on Simple Habit, and an entrepreneurial advisor with StartUp Canada, Leisse's intention is to guide people to come home to themselves, giving them permission to live, authentically. Leisse's first book To Call Myself Beloved will be available in the fall of 2020, and you can watch her on Season 2 of Amazon Prime's "The Social Movement.”   In this episode, we discuss: We have to heal it to feel it. We cannot heal anything that we are not willing to feel. The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho, we must trust each phase of our lives and each step becomes the stepping-stone for the next phase of our lives. You are always enough for you. Our feelings are a constant feedback to us. Stay open to the messages as they provide valuable feedback for what is working and what is not working for us. We have lived in the masculine energy of doing more for so long, now in a time of covid and isolation, we are being forced to slow down, be present, surrender and embrace our feminine energy. It is forcing us to ask ourselves what we need right now.   Connect with Leisse Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/leissewilcox   Podcast https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/to-call-myself-beloved-the-podcast-with-leisse-wilcox/id1475186316 W Website: www.leissewilcox.ca   Connect with Marsha: Fill out the Radical Responsibility Mastermind Application to book your Discovery call https://forms.gle/KWFSB1a42eSP9yx8A   About me – Marsha Vanwynsberghe — Author, Speaker and Life Coach Marsha is the 6-time Bestselling Author of “When She Stopped Asking Why”.  She shares her lessons as a parent who dealt with teen substance abuse far past the level of normal experimentation. #134: Grow Your Impact and Grow Your Income with Jenn Kennedy In this episode, I am speaking with Jenn Kennedy Jenn Kennedy is a former teacher and aspiring principal turned entrepreneur who stumbled into creating her own business after helping a few friends conquer weight loss. She quickly realized, as an entrepreneur, she could make a greater impact in this world, and build the income she dreamed of. She scaled to 6-figures within the first year and now shows coaches how to do the same. Jenn believes we're given both gifts and adversities to impact as many lives possible and that your income is directly related to the number of people you are able to impact. She's here to help entrepreneurs grow their impact and income and live the life they dream of as a result. In this episode, we discuss: Be all in! Don't let fear hold you back from the opportunities that are always available and right in front of you. Listen and trust your intuition. When creating change or investing in a mentor, what will take you to the next step you need to take. Don't get distracted by 10-20 steps ahead.   We are all capable of creating an impact when we truly step into our own personal power. To make a connection with the mind you must make a connection with the heart. When you continually see a problem in front of you, maybe you are the one to provide the solution. Entrepreneurship may find you when you are open to seeing it. You have the ability to change anything by changing your perspective. Marisa is a certified life coach who has mastered strategies that empower women in her private practice to cultivate an authentic life overflowing with love, meaning, and passion. Graduating with a degree in business management, she quickly became a successful real estate investor of over 15 years. After having checked all the boxes that she thought were going to lead her to the happiness she craved, something deep within her was still missing. Unfulfilled with purpose she left her career to follow a life of meaning. Purpose emerged through her most difficult time; an entangled divorce with two children, a very opinionated Italian family, without much support from those closest to her. She developed the tools and strategies to untie the knots of divorce that bound her and started living a life of freedom. The fire that blazes within her is her deepest desire to help stop the suffering, stop living a checklist life, and start living a life of authenticity. In her coaching she guides women through untying the knots and teaches them how to emerge into their highest self.   Marisa is an author in the upcoming collaborative book, Own Your Choices.  I am so grateful to have linked arms with Marisa.  Her story will bring tears to your eyes and touch your heart!   In this episode, we discuss: We are all breaking generational chains by choosing something different for our life. Learning how to let go of the shame and guilt of our stories is truly the most freeing feeling in the world. Without ownership, nothing can change, ever. #127: Kick Shame to the Curb In this mindset episode, we are diving into all of the extra emotions we are carrying around during this time of isolation.  I am hearing dozens of messages from people who are feeling all kinds of self-shame, doubt, fear in general, and fear of the judgment of others.  All kinds of statements of, “I am not doing enough”, “I should be doing x, y, z., etc.”  Let's dive into all the topics that are holding us down while we are in the isolation of COVID-19.  In this episode, we discuss: Brené Brown said: Shame is a painful emotion that responds to a sense of failure to attain some ideal state. Shame encompasses the entire self. Shame is the feeling that “I am bad”. Self-shame means that we are continually feeling that we are bad…and all that stems from the way we judge ourselves, hence “self”. We are the only ones who can change these words that we are telling ourselves. It takes work and commitment and freeing ourselves from these “labels” will help to free us from feeling stuck and improve our self of worth. Brene Brown said: Guilt involves a negative evaluation of a specific behavior. Guilt is, "I did something bad." Feeling shame and guilt during a time of isolation where we have so little control, actually no control over what is happening in our external world is setting us up for failure. We must take back control over the things that we can control, and that is ourselves. Our choices, our actions, our decisions, and how we choose to respond to what we have right to deal with right now. Carrying all of these other emotions is not helping us deal with this time of isolation. Give these emotions a voice, and watch the shame disappear. Giving shame a voice is the only way to move through it and release it. We are the biggest project we will ever take on. It is our responsibility to make ourselves a priority, especially during this time.  What if instead of being hard on ourselves, we dedicate this time to working ON ourselves like we are a top priority in our life because we are.  We can come out of this time with a whole new set of life skills, habits and rituals in place. When we focus on taking radical responsibility for ourselves, we own what is ours to own, and ultimately, we become more powerful. This is how we step into our leadership potential and this is what the world is calling on us to do now.   Connect with Marsha: FREE Zoom call on the 3 tips to taking Radical Responsibility in your life https://calendly.com/mvanwyn761/3-tips-to-take-radical-responsibility   Fill out the Radical Responsibility Mastermind Application to book your Discovery call https://forms.gle/KWFSB1a42eSP9yx8A   About me – Marsha Vanwynsberghe — Author, Speaker, and Life Coach Marsha is the 6-time Bestselling Author of “When She Stopped Asking Why”.  She shares her lessons as a parent who dealt with teen substance abuse far past the level of normal experimentation. In this Monday mindset episode, we are diving into Radical Responsibility and what the heck it actually means.  I am sharing daily messages on social media for the month of April and supporting my friend, Samantha Kris' #365daysofclarity challenge.  Today I am breaking down what I will be covering this month and how I will be diving into this topic to help you to learn how to take Radical Responsibility in your life. Follow the # on Instagram and if you are ready to create change, follow along every day and let us know how you are implementing these changes in your life. In this episode, we discuss: In order to learn how to take Radical Responsibility in our lives, we must start by breaking down the stories, the shame stories and the limiting beliefs that we are holding onto. We must be able to break down and figure out what story we are buying into in order to write a new story. We are truly in a time and space where we are coming face to face with having very little control over what is happening to us with covid19. We never had control with our outside world, it is just a time where we are experiencing that we can only control ourselves and that includes how we handle and react to what we are given. Our response is under our control. Recognizing what we do have control of as ourselves, what are the things that need to change in your life as of today? What do you need to add or take away? In times of chaos, everything is changing constantly, so it is even more important that we focus on what is our responsibility to control. When we focus on taking radical responsibility for ourselves, we own what is ours to own, and ultimately, we become more powerful. #122: Raise Your Standards Not Your Expectations In this Monday mindset episode, I am sharing the lessons I learned this past week.  There is a very specific distinction between standards and expectations.  One is based on fact and one is based on fiction.  I have always been one to set very high expectations for myself, and as a person who has always been driven and pushes towards goals, I am learning to let go of or shift the meaning of expectations.  In the weeks following isolation and physical distancing of coronavirus, I went full speed ahead into my online business, only to realize I was setting ridiculous expectations for myself.   Instead I had to learn to understand what my standards were and to raise them accordingly.  I promise I am always learning and always a work in progress.   In this episode, we discuss: A standard is a fact. It is a level of quality that is accepted by the norm.  Standards are based on our current needs, what we are doing, the actions we are taking, and the environment that we are surrounding ourselves with.  These are the standards we choose to live with in our life.  An expectation is a strong belief that something is going to happen in the future. It is fictional and based on our internal beliefs of what we think we should be attaining. As soon as the word should is part of the sentence, seriously run.  It is time to shift away from “should'ing” on ourselves. Expectations are based on beliefs, our willpower, our biased premonitions and tend to lead to anger, frustration, resentment and disappointment. Our expectations don't always align with our personal needs. In order to create change, we must focus on raising our standards. One example of standards is our environment and who we choose to surround ourselves with.  As Jim Rohn said, “we are the sum of the 5 people we spend the most time with”.  If we want to create change we must raise our standards of the people we choose to surround ourselves with. As Lori Harder said, “our environment will always be stronger than our willpower”. We must raise our standards for our environment as this will always take us further than expectations any day. Looking at where we can raise our standards in our life in such areas as self-care, owning our choices, setting our sights on our new normal. We are not going back to normal, we are creating a new normal by raising our standards.   Reference: Standards vs. Expectations: Why you need to know the difference in the workplace, Medium.com, Dec 12, 2017 Connect with Marsha: Book your FREE IMPACT call https://calendly.com/mvanwyn761/impact-call Fill out the Radical Responsibility Mastermind Application to book your Discovery call https://forms.gle/KWFSB1a42eSP9yx8A   About me – Marsha Vanwynsberghe — Author, Speaker and Life Coach Marsha is the 6-time Bestselling Author of “When She Stopped Asking Why”.  She shares her lessons as a parent who dealt with teen substance abuse far past the level of normal experimentation. #121: Fighting Cancer Through Vulnerability with Beau Whitman In this episode I am speaking with Beau Whitman, a Personal Trainer and Motivator to so many people. Beau is one of seven siblings in the Whitman family. Growing up with two younger brothers and four older sisters – all of whom are supportive, passionate, and wildly competitive – shaped who Beau is as an athlete, coach, trainer and person. His athletic career began at Parkettes National Gymnastics Training Center where he trained as a competitive gymnast for twelve years. After retiring, he competed as a five-sport varsity athlete in high school, participating in Soccer, Diving, Wrestling, Lacrosse, and Track & Field. With its close ties to Gymnastics, Pole Vaulting captured Beau's heart and led him to join the Lehigh Mountain Hawks Division I Track & Field Team at Lehigh University. After college, Beau accepted a position at New York University as the Assistant Jumps Coach for the Track & Field Team. Here he uncovered his passion for coaching and helping other athletes. Beau became a trainer and CrossFit coach so that he could further help people achieve their goals, compete, and recover from injuries. Having experienced six major reconstructive procedures during his athletic career, Beau understands the physical endurance and restraint, as well as the positive mentality necessary to successfully recover from an injury. Following the mantra, “rebuilt to inspire”, Beau works with injured athletes to make full recoveries and motivates them to come back both physically and mentally stronger.   In this episode, we discuss: Everything happens for a reason. We aren't necessarily supposed to understand or make sense of the reason, yet there is always something we can make of our challenges and our story. Vulnerability is something Beau truly embraces as he challenges himself and others to go 5 layers deep in our questions. Allowing ourselves to be vulnerable is what truly connects us to each other. Beau's mantra, “rebuilt to inspire”, is a mantra that he truly lived and continues to live on a daily basis. We always teach what we learn. That is what makes us powerful human beings and authentic in our message. With its close ties to Gymnastics, Pole Vaulting captured Beau’s heart and led him to join the Lehigh Mountain Hawks Division I Track & Field Team at Lehigh University. We aren’t necessarily supposed to understand or make sense of the reason, yet there is always something we can make of our challenges and our story. Vulnerability is something Beau truly embraces as he challenges himself and others to go 5 layers deep in our questions. Allowing ourselves to be vulnerable is what truly connects us to each other. #120: Controlling What We Can Control  In this Monday mindset episode, I am sharing the lessons I am reminded of week #1 of the coronavirus.  We are always learning and relearning our own lessons.  That is why we can teach them.  Week #1 has been a massive change for all us.  Seriously that is an understatement.  It has impacted our outside world as much as our online world. We still always have the ability to choose how we respond.  WE can choose the BE the change in this world, in our world.  In this episode, we discuss: We must focus on controlling what we can control. Our response, our choices, our thoughts and our actions are all our choices In times of unknown we must do the things to take care of ourselves, self-care, boundaries and letting go of what we can't control all become a top priority. It is the only way we can handle the daily stressors and challenges. What if we use this time to breathe, slow down and decide if we are actually doing what we want to do? What if evaluate what we are doing in our life and maybe decide it is time to make some changes? The time to learn how to lead ourselves is now. The world is calling for us to step up and be leaders so we can continue to light the way for others. My lesson on repeat is to BE the change we want to see in this world.   Connect with Marsha: Book your FREE IMPACT call https://calendly.com/mvanwyn761/impact-call Fill out the Radical Responsibility Mastermind Application to book your Discovery call https://forms.gle/KWFSB1a42eSP9yx8A   About me – Marsha Vanwynsberghe — Author, Speaker and Life Coach Marsha is the 6-time Bestselling Author of “When She Stopped Asking Why”.  She shares her lessons as a parent who dealt with teen substance abuse far past the level of normal experimentation. In this episode, we discuss: When life challenges us our first reaction tends to be to retreat, yet this only isolates us even more. We can only choose to feed fear or faith. Feeding the fear keeps us stuck.  Feeding the faith allows us to see each other, to connect and to support each other through this difficult time. The world is requiring us to step up and show up as leaders to make a difference. Taking ownership and taking radical ownership for ourselves is how we create change in our lives. 117: Your Voice is Powerful - IWD 2020 In this Monday Mindset Episode, I am celebrating International Woman's Day 2020 by saying thank you to all of the women who have gone before me to pave the way for what I am creating.   I share some tips that have created an impact in my life and I hope that they will do the same for you. In this episode, we discuss: Going back to the beginning (5-6 years ago) when I felt so alone, isolated and had no idea what to do next. I knew I didn't want to feel the way I did but didn't know where you start.  I joined facebook groups, I hid in the background watching, observing until I could find the courage to speak up and trust my voice.  Eventually I started attending events, hiring coaches, and joining programs to learn how to change my circumstances.  These were all lead by incredible women who went first! When you are feeling stuck, alone and not sure what to do next, how can you BE the change you wish you could see in the world? Who can you support, who can you give back to without any expectation in return?  Who can you celebrate, because when your sister wins, you win too! Where can you speak up and use your voice, even and especially when you are scared? My biggest advice is to stop doing it alone. That is never the way.  We always go further together. #116: Finding the Courage to Change with Kelly Thorne I am thrilled to be speaking with Kelly Thorne, Speaker, Author and Advocate.  Kelly and I connected online almost 3 years ago.  She has continued to be my reminder to show up and share my story, we never know who is listening and ready to hear our story. Kelly is one of the authors in the upcoming collaborative book, Own Your Choices.  Kelly is an advocate for families living alongside addiction. Her mission is to help families find freedom in their own lives, remove guilt, and empower themselves on their journey of self - discovery. In addition to being a spouse living alongside addiction, Kelly has her own personal story of addiction and recovery. She uses her journey to deliver an educational and informative talk that is warm, lighthearted, and engages her audience to think. Kelly has been an educator for twenty years with the District School Board of Niagara.  She facilitates workshops, has spoken at events in Southern Ontario, and offers online support to families through her facebook page Finding Freedom from an Addicted Loved One. In this episode, we discuss: Living with shame stories can lead us to living a double life as we work hard to hide our stories from everyone. We tend to want to avoid judgment as much as possible.   We always have a choice with what we choose to accept, tolerate or decide to change in our life.  The decisions can be hard but they are always still a choice. Learning to own and share our stories can truly be the freedom we are searching for. We are the solutions that other people are searching for. The lessons we learned can be shared with others when we embrace and grow our courage to change and embrace what is possible. It's ok to be scared when we learn to share our story. Learning to own and share our stories can truly be the freedom we are searching for. We are the solutions that other people are searching for. The lessons we learned can be shared with others when we embrace and grow our courage to change and embrace what is possible. It’s ok to be scared when we learn to share our story. Don’t let the fear stop you from paying it forward to others.   Connect with Kelly Facebook Group supporting Families Dealing with Addiction: https://www.facebook.com/groups/556883781541806/   Instagram https://www.instagram.com/kjt25rise/   Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kellyjanethorne   Connect with Marsha: Book your FREE IMPACT call https://calendly.com/mvanwyn761/impact-call Fill out the Radical Responsibility Mastermind Application to book your Discovery call https://forms.gle/KWFSB1a42eSP9yx8A   About me – Marsha Vanwynsberghe — Author, Speaker and Life Coach Marsha is the 6-time Bestselling Author of “When She Stopped Asking Why”.  She shares her lessons as a parent who dealt with teen substance abuse far past the level of normal experimentation. #115: "Breaking Through Your Energy Blocks” In this Monday Mindset Episode, I am sharing my tips on the power of energy blocks in our life.  Energy is our GPS that is trying to direct us towards potential opportunites and away from things that are not working for us.  When our energy is poor or low, it becomes this massive block in our life that stops other opportunites from reaching us.  The opposite is that every time our energy is high, we become a magnet for opportunities that we couldn't see before.  We are the ones who can change our energy.  It is truly our responsibility!   In this episode, we discuss: Identify where our energy is high and low in our life. Where can we listen to the signs our energy is giving us? Where can we trust what our energy is telling us? Where can we take ownership of what is and is not working in our lives. This is where we have the ability to create change. Paint out the worst case scenario if we choose to follow the energy and change. Ownership literally changes everything. We cannot change anything if we don't own it first and if we don't own it, it owns you. Loving ourselves with compassion and grace through our difficult stories is truly the only way to live. It takes tremendous practice to learn how to do this, yet it is such a powerful lesson. We are being guided by our future self, by our intuition, and learning from all of the experiences that we have lived! We are literally our best teacher!   In this episode, we discuss: Accepting that in order to create change we must recognize that we must commit to doing the work. Coaching with mentors is important, yet we have to do the work too! Ask yourself the hard questions: Am I happy? If no, what needs to change to change this? What do I need more of or less than in order to change this? Do my choices line up with what I want to create or where I want my life to go? #103: "The Energy of Making Decisions” In this Monday Mindset Episode, we are diving the energy we expend in making decisions.  I am sharing a lesson I recently learned, regarding how much energy we waste in contemplating decisions without ever making them.  Not making the decisions is actually blocking you from the opportunities meant for you.  Today I am sharing the 5 tips to helping you make a decision faster and from a place of ownership and never blame. In this episode, we discuss: Being conscious of how much energy are you wasting on one decision without ever making it? Focus on the energy you are feeling when you are contemplating the decision, the scenario and what you want to do next. Energy never lies.  It is always directing us to the path to follow. If you are feeling stuck and stagnant, where can you make one choice to get into action. That step of action can start the path of potential momentum. Where can you listen to your intuition and trust the process? When you make a decision how can you speak from a space of ownership instead of blame? Stop trying to control all of the possible outcomes that are unpredictable and outside of your control. Focus on what you can control and that is always yourself. Today we dive into the stories we have lived, what they continue to teach us, and how we continue to show up in our stories. These exercises will help you to stop repeating the patterns that are not moving you forward in your life. In this episode, we discuss: Writing out your story as far back as you can recall. Recognizing what you have lived through and what situation or circumstances do you keep repeating? What lessons have you learned from your stories? How do you keep showing up in your life – i.e. as a victim, a fighter, angry, resistant, etc. Who are you in the story and where do you or can you take more ownership in your story? How do you want to show up differently in your life? How do these lessons build the spoke of your wheelhouse?   Connect with Marsha: Book your FREE IMPACT call https://calendly.com/mvanwyn761/impact-call Fill out the Radical Responsibility Mastermind Application to book your Discovery call https://forms.gle/KWFSB1a42eSP9yx8A   About me – Marsha Vanwynsberghe — Author, Speaker and Life Coach Marsha is the 6-time Bestselling Author of “When She Stopped Asking Why”.  She shares her lessons as a parent who dealt with teen substance abuse far past the level of normal experimentation.
