After the grieving period, it's back to business as the Midnight Mission and it's congregation hunt the streets to keep the night safe. Hunter's Moon, Soldier and Reese encounter Mr. Smile and Mr. Sulk, but it's the sessions wit Dr Sterman that really allow Reese to deal with her loss. When 8-Ball comes crashing through the Midnight Missions shopfront window, it's none other than Moon Knight there, telling them all to get out of his house. Episode 03 Gods and Villains! We dig into the first Moon Knight solo series from 1980 this week, and Duane has questions. He isn't sure about Moon Knight's new Egyptian resurrection origin story, and Dan also has to work to convince him that despite the fact that Moon Knight is a billionaire playboy with issues and a cape, he is NOT just Marvel's version of B**man. We discuss key takeaways from these formative early issues, and get ready for the first Moon Knight trailer, which releases this week. The Stack for this week includes: Moon Knight Vol. 1, Issues #1 - 14 These comics are available online through Marvel Unlimited as well as in collected print editions. Questions or comments We'd love to hear from you! Email questions@phasesofthemoonknight.com or find us on Twitter @phasesofmk
Episode 06 Direct Market Madness! This week we are going to dig into the middle issues of Moon Knight Volume 1, which were published in 1981-1982. Moon Knight defeats a guy dressed as a rat, Marlene becomes a bikini-clad bodyguard to a terrorist leader, and Morpheus and Scarlet return. We also talk about the Khonshu-themed backups and ponder why Moon Knight's villains are so prone to lethal accidents. Along the way Duane lets on that he really, really dislikes issues #17-20, and Dan tells us why he thinks that issue #26 is one of the best Moon Knight stories ever printed. The Stack for this week includes: Moon Knight Vol. 1, Issues #15 - 26 These comics are available online through Marvel Unlimited as well as in collected print editions. Questions or comments We'd love to hear from you! Email us at questions@phasesofthemoonknight.com or find us on Twitter @phasesofmk.
Episode 05 Moon Knight After Moench and Sienkiewicz This week we are going to dig into the final issues of Moon Knight Volume 1, which were published in 1983 and 1984. This week sees both Bill Sienkiewicz and Doug Moench move on from the title, after which a rotating cast of writers and artists bring Moon Knight's first volume to a close. Our hero faces off against bad cops, teen hoodlums, and a homicidal teenage ballerina, and then flies off into the sunset (temporarily) as volume one winds down. Along the way we talk about team-ups, EC Comics, and what it means when a comic you enjoy is cancelled. The Stack for this week includes: Moon Knight Vol. 1, Issues #27-38 These comics are available online through Marvel Unlimited as well as in collected print editions. Questions or comments We'd love to hear from you! Email us at questions@phasesofthemoonknight.com or find us on Twitter @phasesofmk.
Episode 06 The Sage of Arthur Harrow About a year after the end of Moon Knight Vol. 1. our hero got a second chance to headline his own series. Moon Knight Volume 2 from 1985 changes the character's powers and costume, and radically alters his world. The second issue of the series is also the first - and so far the only - appearance of Dr. Arthur Harrow. With Harrow set to be a major character in the Moon Knight Disney+ show, Dan and Duane give you a better idea of what clues these comics may hold for the show. We also talk about what breakdowns and finishes are, we look at a few issues of Marvel Fanfare that featured Moon Knight, and Dan begins to suspect that Disney perhaps is not being entirely truthful with us about Ethan Hawke's character... The Stack for this week includes: Moon Knight Vol. 2, Issues #1-6 Marvel Fanfare #30, 38 and 39 Sadly, these comics are not currently available either on Marvel Unlimited or in collected print editions. Questions or comments We'd love to hear from you! Email us at questions@phasesofthemoonknight.com or find us on Twitter @phasesofmk.

BARE BONES (by Rey): Hunter's Moon and Moon Knight decide to get answers be traversing the mindscape of recently defeated foe, Vibro. Left in a comatosed state after the previous encounter with Hunter's Moon, Vibro lies in a hospital bed with both Fists of Khonshu at the ready. Harvesting Hawley's sweat, the White Knights dose Vibro, then ingest the liquid themselves in order to create a psychic bridge between their minds and Vibro. Within the hellish arena, both Moon Knight and Hunter's Moon encounter various Vibro's and surprisingly another persona, in the form of Alton. Alton claims to have dropped into Vibro's mind and reveals to the heroes what he knows of Black Spectre's plans. Vibro's internal minions rush the trio, and an onslaught ensues with both Moon Knights caught in the middle. Moon Knight requires some time with Alton alone, so Hunters Moon accommodates by taking on an army with his in-built allies in the form of past avatars of Khonshu. Moon Knight tells Alton what he suspected all along…that Alton is indeed the alter ego of Vibro, and is a seed of conscience in Vibro's corrupted mind. Alton bids Moon Knight farewell, to take on the army of Vibros as the Moon Knights escape with the valuable information they gained on Black Spectre and his plans. Elsewhere, Black Spectre, Zodiac and two others catch wind of Vibro's activities. They push their plans to destroy the city forward. They decide to strike tonight. In this episode, Chris welcomes back Travis Snell from the “GeekVerse” podcast to look at the first volume of one of his favorite comic runs, “Moon Knight - Lunatic”. Writer Jeff Lamire teams with artist Greg Smallwood and colorist Jordie Bellaire to turn Marc Spector's world as Moon Knight upside down. Marc Spector — a.k.a. Moon Knight/Jake Lockley/Steven Grant — has been fighting criminals and keeping New York City safe for years…or has he? When Marc wakes up in an insane asylum with no powers and a lifetime's worth of medical records, all of his identities are called into question. He's surrounded by faces: haughty doctor, hostile orderlies, vacant-eyed patients. But maybe those faces are just masks. Some might hide friends, others enemies. Or even worse: gods and monsters! Marc's got to get out. The moon is high, the mask is on — but if he succeeds in escaping, will he find only a city of sand? And what will it mean when Marc Spector comes face-to-face with…Moon Knight?! Everything you know may be wrong — and you'd be insane not to find out for sure! EPISODE 325: Rey is back to look at a MOON WALK (Moon Knight but not in his run) and this time, it's another obscure issue, SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN TEAM-UP VOL. 1 #1 (2013) by Christopher Yost . Always keen to delve into the obscure issues with Moony, Rey might have just potentially topped his last effort that had only a fleeting Moon Knight in a Black Panther issue... How does it stack up? Tune in to find out! PHASE OF THE MOON: Waning Gibbous SEGMENT: MOON WALK Superior Spider-Man Team-Up Vol. 1 #1 "A Day in Someone Else's Life" Release Date July 24, 2013 Cover Date September, 2013 Writer(s) Chris Yost Penciler(s) David López Inker(s) Andy Owens Colorist(s) Rachelle Rosenberg Letterer(s) Chris Eliopoulos Editor(s) Stephen Wacker BARE BONES (Written by Wiki): An organized group of criminals attempt to maul a couple in an alley, but Cloak and Dagger soon arrive. Before the dup can fight them, Spider-Man arrives, causing the criminals to run. Cloak shouts at Spider-Man, as they had the situation under control, but then Spidey punches Dagger. Later Spidey is seen fighting Daredevil. Seeing this on the news, Captain America informs the other Avengers that Spider-Man must be taken down for his recent attacks as well as his abnormal behavior over the past several weeks. In the meantime, Spider-Man is seen going after Gravity, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Ant-Man, each time with a big gun slung over his shoulder. The Avengers then arrive and start to attack Spider-Man, with Hulk and Thor eventually restraining him. Spidey tells Iron Man to not open his faceplate, but it is revealed that Stark is not even in the armor. Just then, Hyperion destroys the armor. Spider-Man reveals to the Avengers that Hyperion is possessed by Carrion. Carrion has been jumping from hero to hero in order to conquer with a hero's body (which is why Spider-Man was attacking the other heroes). Spider-Man must shoot Hyperion if Carrion is to be defeated. He and the Avengers fight Hyperion, but they don't trust Spidey to fire the gun, as they think that the blast will also kill Hyperion (which is what they think Spidey wants). Spider-Man says it won't, and Cap gives him permission to use the gun. Spidey fires, defeating Carrion and saving Hyperion. Though he has regained his trust in the Avengers, Spider-Man still does not see them as allies. He needs to have his own team, and it is revealed that he has captured several Sinister Six members in order to achieve whatever plan he is thinking of. Meanwhile, Carrion is talking to the Jackal about some plans. Their first step: kill Spider-Man. MOON RATING : Rey:

EPISODE 321: The High Priests convene to discuss a cab-filled, Jake soaked outing with Reese and Soldier, in the latest offering from Jed MacKay and Alessandro Cappuccio, SEGMENT: MOONSHINE NEW COMIC REVIEW Moon Knight Vol. 9 #21 'Let's Dance' RELEASE DATE March 8, 2023 COVER DATE May, 2023 WRITER(S) Jed MacKay PENCILER(S) Alessandro Cappuccio INKER(S) Alessandro Cappuccio COLORIST(S) Rachelle Rosenberg LETTERER(S) VC's Cory Petit EDITOR(S) Tom Brevoort BARE BONES (Written by Rey): Reese sits, dejected whilst Dr Sterman and Moon Knight deliberate what course of action they should take next. A night out dancing has turned into so much more, and Reese recounts what happened a mere four hours ago. Catching up with dear friends, Reese and Soldier prepare for a night out. Bags of blood are consumed and Reese feels a casual night of fun on the dance floor is exactly what Soldier needs. Jake arrives as their ride into town and he confirms that Marc has had to have some down time himself due to the recent events with Zodiac and Dr Plesko. Dropping them off at a club and helping them through the door, Jake leaves Reese, Soldier, Shannon and Teddy to their fun. After what seems like a fun filled night of dancing soon turns to chaos as Reese and Soldier see the DJ accosted then replaced by a masked Villain. Music soon turns to ear splitting pain for the patrons before transforming them into blood thirsty maniacs. Moon Knight rushes in and all hell breaks loose before Reese is able to subdue the villain with a neat trick of her own. Back in the present, Reese ponders the theory that the events at the club could well be connected to Moon Knight's past misfortunes…misfortunes that will no doubt crop up again soon. Moon Knight Vol. 1: The Midnight Mission The mysterious Mr. Knight has opened his Midnight Mission, his people petitioning him to shelter them from the weird and horrible. The Moon Knight stalks the rooftops and alleys marked with his crescent moon tag, bringing violence to any who would harm his flock. Marc Spector, in whichever guise he dons, is back on the streets, a renegade priest of an unworthy god. But while Khonshu languishes in prison, Moon Knight's duty still must be observed: the protection of those who travel at night. But what happens when those he would save are turned into weapons against him? When gangs of elderly residents leave a trail of bizarre violence, Moon Knight must put his body, mind and very soul on the line to end the carnage! Episode 04 Direct Market Madness!
EPISODE 246: High Priests of Khonshu, Rebecca and Rey return to follow the trevails of Marc and his tragic mask, Moon Knight... Greer Nelson, aka Tigra turns up at the Midnight Mission and it's timely too, as Marc needs some serious friendship to dig him out of his funk...that, Jigsaw and an obscure villain all in one bumper issue! SEGMENT: MOONSHINE - NEW COMIC BOOK REVIEW MOON KNIGHT VOL. 9 # 4 - 'Blackmail' Released October 27th 2021 Writer - Jed MacKay Penciler/Inker - Alessandro Cappuccio Colorist - Rachelle Rosenberg Letterer - VC's Corey Petit Editor - Tom Brevoort Covers - Steve McNiven & Frank D'Armata Variant Cover - Gabrielle Dell'Otto; Joshua Cassara & Dean White BARE BONES (Courtesy by Rey): In another session with Dr. Sterman, Mr. Knight justifies the use of a mask in an attempt to explain to the doctor why she's never seen him without it on. To Mr. Knight, the person that is Marc is insignificant compared to the symbol that is the Fist of Khonshu - they are part of his vestments...a suit or a shroud...and both are worn by dead people. Elsewhere, Rampage aka Stuart Clarke explains to the mystery villain who hired him, how he hopes to break Moon Knight. The evil mastermind relishes Rampage's strategy to attack Steven Grant's funds and commends him and his tenacity. Back at the Midnight Mission, Mr. Knight has a visit from one of his old friends, Tigra. Greer Nelson's sunny disposition curries favour with Reese before Mr. Knight receives a phone call from Rampage, threatening to destroy his finances lest he do as he says. Moon Knight complies and as the caped hero, attacks super villain Jigsaw and his crew late at night. Rampage wants revenge on Jigsaw and uses Moon Knight, who is happy to oblige. Quickly after, Moon Knight crashes into Rampage's hideout, surprising the villain and alongside Tigra, the two heroes terrorise Rampage despite his attempts to threaten Moon Knight further by wiping out his entire bank account. Moon Knight shrugs off any measly threat, and warns Rampage, “I'm Moon Knight. You have no hold over me”. Later that night, Moon Knight and Tigra reflect on their friendship and how Moon Knight has changed. Marc reveals his sorrow in how he has destroyed his friends and even his relationship with his own daughter. Wearily, Marc reveals to Tigra why he wears the mask - he does it in order to not have to look at himself (and see the person he's become}... Tigra comforts Marc and the two sit atop a building waiting till the new day earns the sun... MOON RATING : Rebecca:

From his confrontation with Hawley, Mr. Knight now knows someone is behind the scenes, contracting killers to ‘break' him. Dr Sterman wonders whether the reason Mr. Knight called an emergency session was because he suspected her, but she is surprised when he admits that he fears it's actually himself intent on his own destruction. Later, Reese approaches Mr. Knight concerned that he is going back on his word to protect the likes of herself and Terry (both vampires) as Terry was found attacked and injured from multiple crescent darts. Mr. Knight assures her it wasn't him and upon investigating the rooftops, Moon Knight is soon attacked by the culprit - The Hunter's Moon! The two Fists battle across the city, with Hunter's Moon determined to correct Moon Knight and bring him back into Khonshu's fold. Certain irregularities are revealed, concerning Hunter's Moon - Moon Knight lacks the fighting prowess of one anointed by Khonshu through the Chorus of Ordination; He also is appalled at Moon Knight forming a congregation of their sworn enemies (vampires). He leaves Moon Knight a wreck and makes his way to the Midnight Mission to remove the distraction, and terminate all those associated with Moon Knight. Hunter's Moon breaks in but before he can cause any major damage, Moon Knight dives back in and bludgeons Hunter's Moon to an inch of his life… Moon Knight leaves Hunter's Moon with a grim warning, should he ever again consider to jeopardise Moon Knight's friends….'Avoid my attention in the future, lest I become even more interesting'... EPISODE 229: The two High Priests Rebecca and Rey join forces to look into the second issue of Jed Mackay's run which sees the evil elderly, a funky power and an ultra-terrestrial mindscape invade the pages! The run continues to go from strength to strength - and more breadcrumbs are laid for Loonies to Spector-late! It's all here! Check it out now! SEGMENT: MOONSHINE - NEW COMIC BOOK REVIEW MOON KNIGHT VOL. 9 # 2 - 'Strings' Released August 18th 2021 Writer - Jed MacKay Penciler/Inker - Alessandro Cappuccio Colorist - Rachelle Rosenberg Letterer - VC's Corey Petit Editor - Tom Brevoort BARE BONES (Courtesy by Rey): Mr. Knight and Reese have an evening snack at the Midnight Mission when a man stumbles in, bloodied and shaken from an attack outside. A group of elderly people set upon the man, named Soldier, and it appears that something freaky is afoot. Mr. Knight takes Soldier in and learns more about the attack, one interesting point being that Soldier's very own Mum was amongst his attackers. With Reese fleeing from the sight of Soldier's blood, Mr. Knight and Soldier return to his apartment block, intent on questioning his Mum. They pass by a janitor whom Mr. Knight immediately suspects as being involved. His suspicions prove correct as the janitor announces that he has been employed to hurt and break Mr. Knight. Uncannily, the janitor has the ability to control people with his sweat, and by tampering with the water supply, he has effectively managed to taint and control all the elderly tenants. A stand off ensues, and it's revealed that Soldier is also under the janitor's spell, leaving Mr. Knight alone against the mob. Mr. Knight challenges the janitor to a duel by volunteering to defy the janitor's mind controlling powers. A sample of uncut sweat is scraped onto a crescent dart, much to the insane joy of the janitor who started revelling in the chaos he could wreak with Moon Knight under his control. Mr. Knight licks it clean off, with a startling revelation slowly unravelled within the mindscape. The janitor is unable to control Mr. Knight - instead he is overwhelmed by Marc's mind - a wholly alien realm touched by Khonshu. The janitor is left a gibbering mess with all tenants reverted back to their normal selves. Mr. Knight returns to the Mission with Reese and they discuss how they've both been rewritten in different ways...Mr. Knight's brain was rebuilt as a God's weapon; Reese's physiology rewritten to become a bloodthirsty killer...but how those crutches can be used against their enemies. Lurking in the shadows across the street, the Hunter's Moon awaits... MOON RATING : Rebecca:

Vampires, human rats and super villains are all dealt with deadly force by Moon Knight but not without some silver linings. Moon Knight takes in an involuntary vampire named Reese, but also runs into a fellow member of the Cult of Khonshu, Dr. Badr, who has no compunction to mete out justice himself. Elsewhere as Mr Knight, Dr Sterman tells the story of Caedmon and how one can be elevated after interacting with a higher being - could Khonshu have altered Marc's brain to be something extraordinary? Later, back at the mission, Mr. Knight and Reese (his vampire aide) are watched from across the street by a mysterious figure intent on Moon Knights downfall. Added to that, Dr Badr returns home only to reveal that he is the OTHER fist of Khonshu, intent on punishing Moon Knight and serving Khonshu as The Hunter's Moon. MOON RATING : Rebecca:

EPISODE 218: High Priest of Khonshu Rey and The Power O'Chad get straight into it with a story of Moon Knight that has him as street level as you can get - PHASE: LAST QUARTER SEGMENT: OVER THE MOON ARC REVIEW MOON KNIGHT VOL. 5 #26-30 - 'DOWN SOUTH' Released July 2009 Writer - Mike Benson Penciler - Jefte Palo Inker - Jefte Palo Colorist - Lee Loughridge Letterer - Vc's Joe Caramagna Editor - Axel Alonso BARE BONES (Courtesy by Wiki; edited by Rey): Marc Spector now resides in Mexico under the alias of Jake Lockley. He is approached by a man named Carlos who offers him a job to rescue a daughter of a land baron who has been kidnapped by rivals and put in a cell. They bust into the prison wearing ski masks, and Lockley finds Carmen's cell. When Carmen learns that it was her father who hired Lockley to free her, she becomes extremely frightened. Lockley grows even more uneasy with this mission. Grabbing Carmen, he races out of the prison and meets back up with Alcantara's men at a predetermined rendezvous point. Jake is furious. He wants to know exactly what is going on. Before the men can respond however, a sniper (the Punisher) takes down Alcantara's men. Jake shoves Carmen into a truck and drives off. He brings her to a motel where he asks her why she is so afraid of her father. Alcantara intends on executing his daughter for her betrayal in front of the Russians as a show of force. There is someone that Carmen is even more afraid of than her father though. A "butcher" has been cutting through Alcantara's ranks, using only bladed weapons. Just as Jake goes to examine his gear, a rocket launcher blows up his front door; the Los Bros Zapata, a tag-team Mexican wrestler duo, have arrived to collect the bounty on the Carmen's head. After a fight, Jake and Carmen run away. As the two run, the mob spots them and tries to chase after them. However, Toltec is behind and butchers their heads off. The Brothers are shortly behind and learn that this was not what they signed up for and eventually their true intention; bring Carmen to Alcantara, but, kill and rob Alcantara instead of Toltec. As they walk away, Moon Knight, Punisher, and Toltec hears of their plan from separate angles. The Zapata Brothers catch up with Carmen and capture her after seeing her accosted by other bounty hunters and one of the brothers forms an attachment for the baron's daughter. Moon Knight sees the brothers no longer form a threat and the three, working as a group, devise a plan to take down Alcantara. The Bros will extract Alcantara's men away from his compound by saying they completed the mission while protecting Carmen, but meanwhile, Moon Knight will go for Alcantara at his base. With the compound nearly empty, Moon Knight, Punisher, and Toltec move towards Alcantara's base. Moon Knight catches up with Alcantara after conferring with the Punisher and knowing the Toltec is still out there, after having decimated Alcantara's men. Toltec reveals himself. Jake walks away while Alcantara cries as Toltec butchers away. EPISODE 223: High Priest of Khonshu Rey welcomes back Patroony Daniel Doing for a chat and to discuss a short two-parter involving one of Moony's oldest nemeses - PHASE: LAST QUARTER SEGMENT: OVER THE MOON ARC REVIEW MOON KNIGHT VOL. 1 #29-30 - Morning Star /The Moonwraith, Three Sixes, and a Beast Released March 1983 Writer - Doug Moench Penciler - Bill Sienkiewicz Inker - Bill Sienkiewicz Colorist - Christie Scheele Letterer - Joe Rosen, Michael Higgins, Rick Parker Editor - Denny O'Neil BARE BONES (Courtesy by ComicVine; edited by Rey): Jack Russell flees from three black-robed and hooded figures, and seeks refuge in a boxcar, as the full moon rises. The three reach the car, and the Werewolf snatches and kills one of them, as the train begins to roll. In Los Angeles, Schuyler Belial, who calls himself Morning Star, holds a satanic mass. When he once again can't produce the beast from hell he has for months promised his flock, they begin to file out in disgust. Later, he receives a call from his agents that Russell is headed for New York City. A month later, in New York, Jake Lockley enters Gena's Diner and receives the message that Detective Flint wants a meeting with Moon Knight. Atop the precinct roof, Flint passes a letter to Moon Knight from Russell, requesting a meeting at a secluded house in New Jersey before dusk. Moon Knight arrives after moonrise but just as Moon Knight reaches to secure the door to a room where Jack is contained, the Werewolf erupts through the door. Moon Knight gives chase, but is hit in the head with a log and knocked out. The night passes, and in the morning, Moon Knight finds the again human Jack Russell, whom he transports to his mansion. Moon Knight surmises the satanic cult may have implanted a tracer in Russell's body and so calls in a favor from a Dr. Lawson, who indeed confirms a tracer chip in Jack's scalp. Jack is strapped down as dusk approaches, but when he transforms, the Werewolf snaps his bonds and threatens Moon Knight and Marlene. The Werewolf attacks Moon Knight and the battle carries from Grant mansion to the city. Some time later, Moon Knight catches up with him on a rooftop, and the man-beast lunges at Moon Knight, their momentum carrying them over the edge, into the alleyway below. Both are captured by Schuyler Belial and his fellow satanists. Belial, calling himself Morning Star, holds a gathering where he prepares to display his long-promised beast from hell. Russell and Moon Knight are chained up on the dais behind him, but many of the cultists present still doubt him. Belial orders two of his lackeys to move the prisoners into a cage until sunset, but Moon Knight comes to, knocks out the pair, and contacts Frenchie over his cowl microphone. Soon, he and Russell are aboard and heading for Grant Mansion. Belial's men soon follow, homing on the signal from the chip still implanted under Russell's scalp. At the mansion, Dr. Lawson removes the chip, and Steven Grant places it in a cabinet in his billiard room. The cultists break into the mansion and, following the signal, reach the billiard room, where Moon Knight ambushes them, as Marlene drives to a pre-arranged rendezvous at Gena's Diner. Marlene then hypnotizes Jack to augment his control over the beast, and to place the suggestion that he is not to harm Moon Knight. Dusk falls, and Moon Knight, disguised as a cultist, delivers Russell, who is placed upon an altar on the rooftop. As Belial readies to make the sacrifice, Moon Knight uses one of the cult's stun weapons to shoot the knife out of Belial's hand. The Werewolf then breaks free and dives into the satanists. Working as a team, Moon Knight and the Werewolf overwhelm the cultists, and the lycanthrope hurls Belial off the building to his death. They make quick work of the rest. As Frenchie arrives in the helicopter, Moon Knight allows the Werewolf to run off. MOON RATING : Daniel:

Sponsored by Hello Headphones & Dreamland Comics EPISODE 186: There are two High Priests in the Temple, as listener favourite The High Priest of Khonshu Rebecca returns to chat with Rey about an award winning series - PHASE OF THE MOON: Last Quarter SEGMENT: OVER THE MOON Moon Knight Vol. 4 # 1-4: HIGH STRANGENESS Released December 1998 Writer - Doug Moench Penciler - Mark Texeira Inker - Mark Texeira Colourist - Steve Oliff Letterer - Ken Lopez Editor - Glenn Greenberg BARE BONES (Courtesy of ComicVine): Someone is trying to assassinate Marc Spector, but before he can find out why, the shooter kills himself. Crawley informs Marc of strange experiments being conducted on homeless people, so Marc investigates and discovers that The Company is behind them. Marc contacts an old colleague (and fling), Candace Calder, who still works for them, and arranges a meeting, much to Marlene's dismay. During the meeting, Marc is shot at, and after taking chase, the assassins kill themselves also. After the attack on Marc and Candace at the aquarium, the assassins killed themselves rather than talk. Now Candace tells Marc about implants in her brain, mind control, and the CIA's plan to create perfect zombie-robot killers. The red dragon tattoos found on the assassins lead Candace to believe the man behind the plot is Aleister Ravenna, the Red Dragon. He may have opened a portal to another dimension in the late 1940s, allowing aliens to come through. As Moon Knight prepares to go to the scene of a crime where symbols identical to those in Candace's notes were found, he is attacked by Marlene! After attacking Moon Knight, Marlene is revealed to have the red dragon symbol on the back of her blouse. She escapes downstairs, but Moon Knight encounters Marlene without the symbol, unaware of what just happened. As Moon Knight investigates the symbols at the warehouse crime scene, Marlene is attacked at home, and supposedly implanted with the same chip in her head as Candace. Marc takes Marlene to a hypnotherapist where she reveals that she was abducted by aliens! Meanwhile, Candace has been kidnapped by Red Dragon, who is still alive and apparently unaged from the 60 year-old photos. She's about to be killed when Moon Knight arrives to rescue her. Red Dragon flees, and as Moon Knight chases, he comes across a real flying saucer! After Moon Knight frees Candace, Isaac Rosslyn is able to take control of his mind because of their close proximity. He reveals that the Brotherhood of the Red Dragon, led by Germain Royce, are behind the plans for mind control. As Frenchie and Marlene approach to help, their helicopter crashes. Frenchie calls Moon Knight on the radio and the signal interferes with the Rosslyn's control of Moon Knight, allowing him to break free. After defeating Rosslyn, Moon Knight is in for one final battle with Germain Royce, the Red Dragon. MOON RATING : Rebecca:
Marc Spector, the Moon Knight! In the 80's the eternal D-lister got his shot at a 38 issue run. It was full of drama, tragedy and gripping story. One of the best series of the character, and one that cemented him in marvel comics. Business Inquiry: ironhawk56@gmail.com Find me here: https://linktr.ee/TsunamiStudios

Moon Knight later finds Deadpool; he won’t let him murder Herman, but he too wants to find the kid. The two go their separate ways as Deadpool taunts Moon Knight to give into his urges.
