‘Seasons of Change!'by Joshua Scott Zeitz“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:”‭‭(Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:1‬) NKJV‬‬Change is inevitable! The older I get, the more I am seeing this.My awesome pastor shared recently, talking about change. He spoke about a car that he used to own when he was younger, how it was at that time, the best thing ever! He eventually sold the car in order to purchase an engagement ring. Now I would say that was a pretty amazing thing to do!He then spoke about what it would be like if he was able to get one of those cars again, to restore it, and sit behind the wheel once more…Admittantly he said it would be nice, and perhaps even fun, but it would never be quite the same. Why is that?Well times change. We grow older.Things that used to appeal to us in certain ways simply don't carry the same weight anymore. And for good reason oftentimes.Even Paul said, “when I was a child, I thought as a child, I reasoned as a child, but when I became a man, I put away childish things…”As we mature in the Lord our priorities begin to change! The closer we get to Jesus, the more we begin to see things from an eternal perspective, the more we begin to see people like He does!People matter to God!Immensely in fact!He so loves us! We can't stop changeBut here is the Good News!God never changes! His Word is forever settled in Heaven! Why is this so important to see?Because we live in a crazy world where change, and oftentimes unwanted change is always occurringWhether its rapid technological advances, or shifting worldviews based on feelings, the fragile economy, or simply the next health scare, this world is inundated with crazy change! Not to mention the change that occurs in our personal lives, whether it be a change of vocation, a teen graduating high school, a loved one passing away, or simply our bodies growing older,Life is is full of seasons of change!Because of this, It is imperative that we cling to the Word of God like never before! That we put our hope and trust in the One who never changes! We need this stability! The world needs this stability! How can we face the crazy times of constant change?By being anchored to the One who remains the same!I want to end today by sharing a few passages of scripture that will help keep us anchored in the midst of vast seasons of change:“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever!” (Hebrews 13:8) NKJVThe Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (Psalm 18:2) NKJV“Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven. Your faithfulness endures to all generations; You established the earth, and it abides.”‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭119:89-90‬) NKJV‬‬“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”‭‭(James‬ ‭1:17‬) NKJV“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose UNDER heaven:”But the Great News is this: We serve a good good Father whose throne is IN Heaven, and He never changes!

Ecc 3:1-8 (NKJV) To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: [2] A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted; [3] A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up; [4] A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance; [5] A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing; [6] A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away; [7] A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak; [8] A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace. We read through this as though it is obvious, we see it all around us in the natural seasons: Winter, spring, summer, autumn. And yet somehow as Christians we think we should be at the same level of fruitfulness and in the same place throughout our spiritual walk with Christ. This is not the case. We do go through spiritual seasons. It helps when we can identify what the season is, or what God is doing so that we can position ourself appropriately and work with God.

But what does it mean? If God is love, what does He look like? Or what does love look like? For generations and thousands of years, the understanding of this revelation was obscure to many because no one had seen God (1 John 4:12). So, all they had were wild imaginations of who God was, and what love is. But then came Jesus who said, “…he that hath seen me hath seen the Father…” (John 14:9). Jesus was God manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16). When He walked the streets of Galilee, He was the embodiment, the manifestation of God's love. 1 John 4:9 says, “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.” Jesus was love made flesh. That's one of the most extraordinary things that I ever discovered. And it came to me like a vision: I saw love walking like a man in front of me, in the person of Jesus Christ! Truly, Jesus is the perfect description of love! What's more? The Bible says, “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love” (1 John 4:7-8 NKJV). That means, the proof that we know God's love is how we show it, because we're the expression of His character, ability and nature today. You're the proof of God's love. You can't claim to know God's love if you don't show it. His love must be demonstrated through you. It reminds of what the Bible says in Ephesians 3:10 NKJV: “To the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places.”   This is God's plan; His dream is to manifest Himself, His love, His divine excellence and wisdom through the Church. And it's happening through you. Hallelujah!    CONFESSION   The love of God is shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Ghost who lives in me. His love is daily manifested in me; I'm the proof of His love, the expression of His character, ability and nature, in Jesus' Name. Amen.    FURTHER STUDY: Romans 5:5; 1 John 4:12-13 1-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Romans 1:18-32 & Psalms 35-37 2-YEAR BIBLE READING PLAN Ephesians 3:1-12 & Isaiah 46   To give towards sponsoring free copies please kindly click the below link  https://buy.stripe.com/bIYcOj8vQepC3eM6op

Ephesians 1:3-7,NLT- All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.4, Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.5, God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.6, So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on use who belong to his dear Son.7, He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. And I know we've discussed this topic many times but God continues bringing me back to it. It's not we couldn't receive more clarity, further revelation into the realities of our new world. Our new identity. And the first thing we've got to be clear on is our right standing with Him through Jesus. The moment we give our lives to Jesus, we're not only new creations, but now heirs of His world. You see, I love v.6, He made us the accepted in the beloved. Heirs of His world. And that's the driving thought behind our new talk “Two Worlds.” We are born into a completely new world, which is 100% spiritual. Right now we belong to two worlds. Natural and Spiritual. And even though confined to this natural, according to Jesus, we're no longer of it. This is why Paul made crazy statements like, “walk in the spirit, not in the flesh.” Think about it, how often would you say you're applying spiritual principles in your daily lives? Remember James, “be doers not just hearers.” God wants us living spirit led lives. Making spirit led decisions about every aspect of our lives. And that starts with being more spiritually minded. But let's be honest, most of us, most of the time are more aware of and committed to this natural world than our new world because its just easier, it's more real to us. It's what we're use to. And this is what I love about Ephesians, it provides clarity. For example, the church is His body, us in Him, Him in us, expressing the fullness of His reality. Ephesians 1:22-23,NKJV-  He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. So, if we're in Him, and Him in us, if we're His church, His body, the fullness of Him, how much of a reality of this truth are we actually in pursuit of? Everybody knows Jeremiah 29:11, I know the plans I have for you, plans of a future you hope for, an expected end. But I want to highlight v.13,Jeremiah 29:13 NKJV- You will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. MSG- When you come looking for Me, you'll find Me. Yes, when you get serious about finding Me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed. And even though Paul is telling us, because of our new identity, we can actually bring the realities of His world into this natural world;just like the things of this natural world don't just happen, neither do the thing of the spirit. Being successful in our new world isn't any different than being successful in this world Listen to what God says in Jeremiah, When you get serious about finding me and want it more than anything else, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed.”This is one of Paul's key points in this letter in Ephesians. He isn't praying for God to do a something new, he's praying the we can see, that we can comprehend what God has already done. Listen to his prayer in chapter one;May the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; That we know what is the hope of His calling,That we know what the riches of the glory of His inheritance is.And that we know what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe. Then the apostle John give further clarity, 1 John our born again nature in this world is just like Christ. Made in His image and likeness. But we've got to recognize, God gave us free will by design. The choice is ours.1 Thessalonians 5:23,NKJV- Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.SPIRITSOULBODYAnd here's the deal, when our soul is renewed with God's word, we believe Him. At that point our soul and spirit are in agreement, causing the body to come in line. Or in the words of James, we become doers of the word. But when our soul stays in agreement with our body, our human nature, human nature rules, resulting in unbelief. And we find ourselves saying things like, if the power of God was working in my life, I'd see it, feel it, experience it, etc…We have to understand that according to v.19-20, we have the same power living in our spirits that raised Christ from the dead. This is why Jesu told us, “rivers of living water will flow out of you”We need to believe God to show us how to draw from that river, to draw out of the life He's already given us.You ready to be stretched a little more?Ephesians 1:22-23 NKJV- And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.A head doesn't go anywhere with its body. Example, you see someone's car and there goes so and so. You don't say there goes their car.Don't forget, last week we cover this faith stretching revelation;Ephesians 2:4-6,NKJV- God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Our spirit, our born again nature is in Christ right now. Raised with Him, seated with Him in heavenly places. Not gonna be!!We have been made alive, delivered. The Holy Spirit quickens our mortal bodies right now. But understand this, it's not that we reach some sinless perfection, but the revelation and acknowledgment of our resurrected lives.Philemon 6,NKJV- That the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. But when we fail to do this, we find ourselves still dominated by our human natureEphesians 4, Be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness. The more we yield to our new man the less we yield to our human nature.Romans 8:18,NKJV- For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.Here's the thing, revealed in us, not to us.Ephesians 3:8-10,NKJV- To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ;to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places. Here's the deal, everything about this new life in Christ hinges on our faith. And it's crucial we understand real faith is our correct, positive response to what God has already done.Faith doesn't move God. Faith is the created response, receiving, reaching into the unseen world and appropriating that world.

You too can trust God with, your pain, maltreatment, betrayal, imprisonment, or whatever evil that has happened. To trust God is to forgive and focus on God's bigger plan, which is to rescue, redeem and restore mankind. The blessed hope is that nothing is wasted in God's economy. Things may not make sense, however, when you trust and obey you will be able to live in accordance with the following admonition: In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV) Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:4-8 (NKJV) To live in peace, harmony, and justice it is critical to trust God and embrace the bigger picture that He has for us. Lee was the first host of the Moms in Prayer Podcast and serves as a Communications Specialist for Moms in Prayer International. With a heart for Inductive Bible Study and missions, she speaks domestically and abroad communicating a dynamic vision for the next generation and biblical literacy. Lee’s book, Brave Moms, Brave Kids: A Battle Plan for Raising Heroes, is a clarion call for parents who are looking to raise whole hearted Christ followers in this generation. Her new book, Countercultural Parenting, released June 2020 and deals with character development. Lee has been featured on Focus on the Family Radio, Rebel Parenting, Proverbs 31 ministries and Revive Our Hearts. Lee and her husband, Mike, have four great kids and live at a Christian Camp in West Michigan. Scripture:  Scripture on Tamar found in Genesis 38 Scripture on Rahab found in Joshua 2 and 6 Genesis 38:26a (NLT) Judah recognized them immediately and said, “She is more righteous than I am, because I didn’t arrange for her to marry my son Shelah.”                       Joshua 2:8-14 (ESV) Before the men lay down, she came up to them on the roof and said to the men, “I know that the Lord has given you the land, and that the fear of you has fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land melt away before you. For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea before you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon and Og, whom you devoted to destruction. And as soon as we heard it, our hearts melted, and there was no spirit left in any man because of you, for the Lord your God, he is God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath. Now then, please swear to me by the Lord that, as I have dealt kindly with you, you also will deal kindly with my father's house, and give me a sure sign that you will save alive my father and mother, my brothers and sisters, and all who belong to them, and deliver our lives from death.” And the men said to her, “Our life for yours even to death! If you do not tell this business of ours, then when the Lord gives us the land we will deal kindly and faithfully with you.” Psalm 78:35 (NKJV) Then they remembered that God was their rock, that God Most High was their redeemer. Isaiah 43:1 (NIV) Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine. Isaiah 61:3 (NKJV) To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified.” Luke 7:36-50 (ESV) One of the Pharisees asked him to eat with him, and he went into the Pharisee's house and reclined at table. And behold, a woman of the city, who was a sinner,   when she learned that he was reclining at table in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster flask of ointment, and standing behind him at his feet, weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head and kissed his feet and anointed them with the ointment. Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would have known who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, for she is a sinner.” And Jesus answering said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” And he answered, “Say it, Teacher.”   “A certain moneylender had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.  When they could not pay, he cancelled the debt of both. Now which of them will love him more?” Simon answered, “The one, I suppose, for whom he cancelled the larger debt.” And he said to him, “You have judged rightly.” Then turning toward the woman he said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. You gave me no kiss, but from the time I came in she has not ceased to kiss my feet. You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment. Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven—for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.” And he said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” Then those who were at table with him began to say among[a] themselves, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?” And he said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” John 8:36 (NIV) So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. 1 John 1:9 (NIV) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. You are members of God's family Romans 1:7 (NKJV) To all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 1:1 (NKJV) Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the Saints who are in all Achaia: Philippians 1:1 (NKJV) Greeting Paul and Timothy, bondservants of Jesus Christ, To all the Saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with the bishops and deacons In the Eyes of Jesus, you are Appreciated. Romans 10:13-15 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." 14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" Through the Eyes of Jesus, you are Reconciled! Romans 5:10-11 For if, while we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! 11 Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation. Through the Eyes of Jesus, you are Victorious! Ephesians 1:18-20 (NLT) 19 I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God's power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power 20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God's right hand in the heavenly realms. 1 John 5:4 (NKJV) For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. John 16:33 (NKJV) 33 These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." 1 Corinthians 15:54-57 (NLT) 54 Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: "Death is swallowed up in victory.  55 O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?" 56 For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. 57 But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ. In the Eyes of Jesus, you are Loved. Romans 8:37-39 (NLT) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. 38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.     You can support this ministry by texting any amount to 84321. Shallow views of God lead to shallow worship- and shallow worship is idolatry renamed.-That's why God sent His prophet Hosea to bluntly put an end to His people's religious merrymaking.--Do not rejoice, O Israel, with joy like other peoples, for you have played the harlot against your God. You have made love for hire on every threshing floor.- Hosea 9-1 -NKJV--To worship God truly, we must know Him as He truly is, not as we imagine Him to be- nor how we prefer Him to be in our fallen nature.-Israel imagined herself to be a nation of true worshippers, yet God exposed her idolatry.-Hosea 9 is as severe as Hosea 8 is urgent- judgment is certain for those who harbor shallow views of God's holiness, man's sin, and the personal accountability God assigns to each sinner.-But the gospel declares God's strong resolve to pull His people out of the shallows, into the joyful depths of lasting relationship with Him.-And He has done so through the loving work of His Son.-I hope to see you here Sunday as we continue our study of Hosea, -God's Loyal Love.-

Think of a husband and wife in a car, the wife tells her husband to turn right at the next junction and by mistake, he turns left. When he realizes what he has done, he says to his wife “I’m sorry love, I went the wrong way.” But if that is all he does, it isn’t enough. Saying sorry isn’t getting them any closer to where they want to be; it isn’t even stopping them from getting further away. To get where they want to be, he needs to stop the car, turn it around and go back on to the correct road that his wife told him to take in the first place. That is repentance. Psalm 51:1-17 NKJV- To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin [is] always before me. 4 Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done [this] evil in Your sight--That You may be found just when You speak, [And] blameless when You judge. 5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me. 6 Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden [part] You will make me to know wisdom. 7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8 Make me hear joy and gladness, [That] the bones You have broken may rejoice. 9 Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me [by Your] generous Spirit. 13 [Then] I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You. 14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, The God of my salvation, [And] my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness. 15 O Lord, open my lips, And my mouth shall show forth Your praise. 16 For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give [it]; You do not delight in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God [are] a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart--These, O God, You will not despise. -- Join our bible reading plan: https://bible.com/p/37105438/98d214149e0115fd6b7114ad30095ebf Want to receive text updates from our church? Can you imagine a nation decaying slowly from the inside out, its leadership increasingly self-serving and its people increasingly immoral--Me too.-God sent His prophet, Hosea, to warn ancient Israel of the dire consequences of knowing about God, but not actually knowing God. - -There is no truth or mercy or knowledge of God in the land.- -Hosea 4-1 NKJV--To know God is not merely an intellectual matter, nor a matter of religious practices.-God desires a heart-devotion to Him that is akin to covenant love within a marriage. -To identify as God's people without this covenant love offends God and invites His judgment. A pandemic of wickedness - and the eventual collapse of the nation - were the consequences of Israel's slow, steady rejection of the true knowledge of God.- -My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge-- -Hosea 4-6--Where can such true knowledge be found- I hope to see you here this Sunday as we continue our study of Hosea with -God's Loyal Love- Do You Know Him--

MANIFESTED GLORY 33Standing Through CrisisPastor Sally Snow – 8/9/20I. STANDING THROUGH CRISIS1. Waiting and standing is part of the faith process.Eph 6:13-14 NKJV Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore...Eph 6:10-11 NKJV Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.Stand: continue; abide; establish; hold up; remain valid or unaltered; remain on a specified course, state or condition; able to endure; a determined effort to resist or fight something; holding one’s ground; resisting an opposing force2. God gives me strength to endure until change comes.Heb 10:35-36 NKJV Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.Plan; wisdom; favor; miracle; strength3. While I’m standing, I am resting in expectation.Exodus 14:13-14 AMPC Moses told the people, fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today you shall never see again. 14 The Lord will fight for you and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.So what are the causes of the waiting process?1. Slothfulness of others.Luke 6:38 KJV Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom.2. Seasonal order of things.Eccl 3:1 NKJV To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven3. Sovereign orchestration.Ps 33:11 NLT But the Lord's plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken.Hab 2:2-3 NKJV "Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.4. Satanic Opposition.Dan 10:12-13 NKJV I have come because of your words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.5. Strategic Obedience.a. Develop a listening ear!Matt 11:15 NKJV He who has ears to hear, let him hear!Ex 23:21 NIV Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him1 Sam 15:22 NLT "What is more pleasing to the Lord: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to his voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.6. Sustained offense.Heb 12:14-15 NKJV Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: 15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiledProverbs 4:23 AMPC Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flows the issues of life.Four Things to Resolve While Waiting:1. The second wind phenomenon.Ps 23:3 NKJV He restores my soul…MSG True to your word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction.2. Supernatural working perspective.Proverbs 16:3 AMPC Roll your works upon the Lord (commit and trust them wholly to Him); He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His perfect will, and so shall your plans be established and succeed.2 Cor 4:18 NKJV we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.3. Satanic Weariness.Matt 12:43 NKJV When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.4. Sure Word of Prophecy.Num 23:19 NKJV Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?He made a way!Standing here not knowing how we'll get through this testBut holding unto faith You know thatNothing can catch You by surpriseYou got this figured out and You're watching us nowBut when it looks as if we can't winYou wrap us in Your arms and step inAnd everything we need You supplyYou got this in controlAnd now we know thatYou made a wayWhen our backs were against the wallAnd it looked as if it was overYou made a wayAnd we're standing hereOnly because You made a wayYou made a wayAnd now we're hereLooking back on where we come fromBecause of You and nothing we've doneTo deserve the love and mercy You've shownBut Your grace was strong enough to pick us upAnd You made a wayWhen our backs were against the wallAnd it looked as if it was overLord You made a wayAnd we're standing hereOnly because You made a way

Ephesians 6:10, AMPBe strong in the Lord. Be empowered through your union with Him; draw your strength from Him.So, if God tells us, we can have, we can do, we can be, instead of asking our carnal, human nature anything, on purpose believe Him.Seriously be open to this reality today, if God’s going to do something in the earth today, it’s going to be through someone that will say yes to Him.The apostle Paul’s revelation of the church being Christ body is one of the Holy Spirit’s primary objectives for every believer. He’s actually counting on us discovering and exercising our authority over the powers of darkness. As we make ourselves available to the Ephesian letter, our in Christ position is a key revelation. Here’s the thing, our positional authority in Christ cannot be executed without a practical understanding how His grace, presence, and empowerment affects our everyday lives.Ephesians 1He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings. He has predestined us as sons and daughters. In Him we are redeemed. He has made known to us the mystery of His will.In Him we have obtained an inheritance. In Him we are sealed with the Holy Spirit who is our guarantee. One of the first things being empowered by Christ demands is that we embrace being an expression of the fullness of Him.Ephesians 1:15-23,(NKJV)Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,Do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.”Remember, one of the first things being empowered by Christ demands is that we embrace being an expression of the fullness of Him.The second revelation we’ve got to be open to is being united as one people.Ephesians 2:1,4-10 (NKJV) And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.Ephesians 2:18-19 (NKJV)For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.Remember, first we’re empowered by Christ to be an expression of the fullness of Him.Second, we’ve got to be open to is being united as one people. The third phase of the Ephesian revelation is to mature, equip, and empower believers to advance Christ’s victory of darkness.Ephesians 3:8-12 (NKJV)To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ;to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places, according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.Ephesians 3:14-20 (NKJV)For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height, to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.Remember, first we’re empowered by Christ to be an expression of the fullness of Him.Second, we’ve got to be open to is being united as one people.Third, we become mature believers empowered to advance Christ’s victory of darkness. Now keep in mind the first 3 chapters deal with our position in Christ. The last 3 deal with our responsibility in Christ. As we move into the last 3 chapters, stay open to this reality, our “In Christ” life comes with spiritual, moral and ethical expectations. In other words, A Strengthening ProcessEphesians 4:1 (NKJV) I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—Ephesians 4:21-24 (NKJV)If indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus:that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.Ephesians 5:1 (NKJV)Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. Now you are light in the world, walk as children of light. See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.In Watchmen Nee’s book, “Sit, Walk, Stand, He covers these 3 key principles in Ephesians for spiritual development:2:6, He has made us to sit together in Heavenly places in Christ.4:1, We are to walk worthy of the calling He’s called us to.6:11,13, That we’re able to stand against all the enemy’s tactics, and having done all, we’re to stand.

Those who know me, know I love to pray, spending precious time with God, sometimes talking, sometimes listening; in the quiet of the early morning, in the hustle and bustle of life, in the office with my husband, in the car with my children, in the cafe with friends, walking and praying around the school, at church, well really wherever I am, for me it is always a good time to pray. Over the years I have seen God answer many of these prayers, in many different ways, and mostly not in the way I expected! God is faithful. But then there are the other sort of prayers. The prayers that come from that deep place in your heart, knowing that man cannot fix it, only God can bring the change. We leave the request at the foot of the Cross, genuinely believing that one day, God in His wisdom and timing will answer it. Life goes on and that prayer is no longer on our lips. It hasn't been forgotten, it just isn't the main focus anymore. Occasionally it is brought to the surface again, triggered by a situation or a conversation, and that cry of your heart comes out again, "God I am choosing to trust You, that You have heard the cry of my heart and You have got this sorted." Lord, you know and understand the hopes of the humble and will hear their cries and comfort their hearts, helping them all! Psalm 10:17 TPT And then that "one day" comes, and the prayer is answered. God is faithful. There is an overwhelming sense of God's love and a deeper understanding that He is always at work in the unseen. By His grace we move a step closer to the maturity that He is calling us to. He must increase, but I must decrease. John 3:30 NKJV To find out more please visit https://wendyrobinson.com.au

Today we continue with the Brain Games Series but first, we start with a testimony from Mrs. Karen. today's sermon is called Stinking Thinking. Pastor's Notes: Romans 8:5-8 NKJV For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be [a]carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the [b]carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. INTRODUCTION Good morning, everyone! It was great last week as we joined together in communion, and we are looking forward to baptism this morning as well. Last week, I challenged you in the area of strongholds. Today, I want to talk to you about “Stinking Thinking”. ILLUSTRATION There’s a story I heard of a man who got married whose friends played a prank on him at his bachelor party. He fell asleep on the couch, and his buddies smeared a bit of strong-smelling cheese dip on his mustache. It caused him to wake up to an awful smell. He got up, ran to the kitchen. It smelled in there. He turned around, ran into the living room, and it smelled there. He put his shoes on, ran outside, and it smelled out there. He said “What’s the use! The whole world stinks!”     I’m sorry to tell you, but the whole world doesn’t stink. What stinks is under your nose! Ever felt that way? We have all experienced bad days and horrible situations. We've felt trapped, helpless and, at times, hopeless. We may have even believed that the whole world stinks. TRANSITION Such is the same in the lives of many people. Nothing is good, everything is falling apart, and the whole world is hopeless. Perhaps the problem is not with the world, but rather right under your nose. Your tongue is invisibly connected to your thoughts and your heart. what you think on, you will eventually utter, and what you say will end up lodging in your mind. It’s a proven fact. Look at what Jesus said about the heart and tongue connection: Luke 6:45 NKJV 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil [a]treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. QUOTE: What’s down in the well will always come up in the bucket. That’s why guarding your soul matters. Proverbs 4:23 NKJV Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. When mind is bathed in negativity, it affects the filter of our lives. Look at this passage in Titus 1:15 NKJV To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. In other words, being critical, negative, and pessimistic has to do with the lens or filter through which you view life. When your mind is fleshly and carnal, it’s all but impossible to view things the correct way. ILLUSTRATION CAMERA LENS ILLUSTRATION But what’s the truth? Is the glass half full, or is it half empty? Both are true. What matters is how you see things. QUOTE: When you change the way you see things, the things you see change. BACKGROUND In Romans, Paul is dealing with the exact same thing. He is dealing with the carnal mindset and how it affects our lives. Question: How many of you want to win in life? If so, then let’s look at what the Bible says about our thoughts.     APPLICATION 1. Our mindset is determined by choice. (vs. 5)- You can set it on carnal things.- You can set it on spiritual things.2. Our mindset produces fruit. (vs. 6)- Life and Peace- Death and Carnality3. Our mindset produces defeat or victory. (vs. 7-8) - If we are at war with God, the devil wins.- If we line up with Him, we win! CONCLUSION How can we shift our mindset? Paul tells us how to shift our focus. Philippians 4:8 NKJV 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

"Mum, are you listening to me?" "Well, I do know you were talking about ......, but I might have missed some of what you said." To be honest, I probably missed quite a bit of what they said because when they came to speak to me I continued on with whatever I was doing and only half-listened to what they were saying to me! Too task focused. I apologise for my inattentiveness, but our child still has that sense that Mum doesn't always listen to me. Thankfully our Heavenly Father is not like that. He, in His majestically mysterious way, is available 24/7 for each one of us. In Jeremiah, the Lord says, Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. Jeremiah 29:12 NKJV God listening to us does not necessarily translate into Him doing what we ask. Just like as a parent we listen to our children's requests, but we don't always fulfill them as we often have a bigger picture in mind. Our Heavenly Father is the same. Our job is to stick with Him, wait and trust. But me, I'm not giving up. I'm sticking around to see what God will do. I'm waiting for God to make things right. I'm counting on God to listen to me. Micah 7:7 The Message Trust. Trust that His promises are true, despite what we see. How difficult that can be sometimes. We need to remind ourselves of the good things our God has done - starting with our salvation. This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope. Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness, "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I hope in Him!" The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the soul who seeks Him, It is good that one should hope and wait quietly For the salvation of the LORD. Lamentations 3:21-26 NKJV Wait patiently upon the LORD - Not always an easy thing to do. But as we go through trial after trial, hopefully we start to hone that skill of waiting patiently. As in each of those trials we see more and more of our God's faithfulness so our trust levels increase. We come to a place of knowing without a doubt that He listens to us because He loves us, and He has a plan for us. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. This week I have been reminded again of what it is to have a soft heart towards Jesus. On Sunday night at church during the worship time, I see one of our children is starting to cry. We leave the service and for about 15 minutes the sobbing (sometimes wailing) continues. A beautiful God-fearing lady joins us for prayer. Later that evening at home I ask, why did you start crying? The response, "In the worship I had a picture of Jesus in the garden and then on The Cross and it made me sad." Okay, that was not the response what I was expecting. Upset due to a squabble between siblings as we entered church, maybe. But not this heart-felt response to Jesus' pain and suffering. His pain and suffering for us. Personally I've never experienced that depth of response. I remember the first time I heard about the crucifixion process in great detail, and yes it brought tears to my eyes. But not like the sobbing I witnessed on Sunday night.   Over the years a friend and I have been praying for this next generation, that God will soften hearts and young people will respond to Jesus (and I know that thousands of others pray that same prayer). As I write this blog post I realise that this is exactly what I witnessed on Sunday night - a child's soft heart responding to Jesus' act of love for her.  So let's continue to pray for this next generation, for their hearts to be soft towards Jesus, that His love will overwhelm them, and they will call Him their Lord and Saviour. For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved." Romans 10:13  This generation needs Jesus. They need truth. They need hope. They need to know where to go to find real life. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. The Power of ProclamationPROCLAIM defined1. To promulgate; to announce; to publish; as, to proclaim a fast; to proclaim a feast. Isaiah 61:1-2 (NKJV)To proclaim liberty to the captives, 2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, And the day of vengeance of our God; 2. To declare with honor; as, to proclaim the name of the Lord, that is, to declare his perfections. Exodus 33:17-20 (NKJV)19 Then He said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. DE-CLARE': To make a declaration; which means to proclaim or avow some opinion or resolution in favor or in opposition; to make known explicitly some determination; We already know how to declare things. We need to learn is how to start declaring God's Word. 1 Peter 2:9Psalm 71:18Psalm 89:22 Timothy 4:2 2 Preach (declare, proclaim) the word! Be Proverbs 18:20-21Mark 11:23Isaiah 55:11Romans 10:8-10 (NKJV)8 But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach [Kerysso]): 9 that if you confess [homologeō] with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession [homologeō] is made unto salvation.Greek word for Proclaim is Kēryssō:to be a herald, to officiate as a heraldto proclaim after the manner of a heraldalways with the suggestion of formality, gravity and an authority which must be listened to and obeyedto publish, proclaim openly: something which has been done used of the public proclamation of the gospel and matters pertaining to it,Confession [homologeō]1. to say the same thing as another, i.e. to agree with, assentto profess, to declare openly, speak out freelyProclamation without faith is empty words, devoid of the life. Proclamation requires both faith in the heart and speaking with the tongue. The purpose of proclamation is to speak the answer not the problem. The answer is what God says about the situation. In “proclamation prayer” we use the authority of Jesus Christ to make pronouncements over a person or group or event or situation, commanding that it will come into alignment with God's perfect will for it. So what do we proclaim? We can proclaim whatever the Word of God proclaims!Philippians 4:13 1 John 4:4 - You can personalize it as you declare it… I am of God, I am a child of God, and have overcome the world because He who is in me is greater than he who is in the world. Just be careful to say what the Word is saying!Isaiah 41:10-13Personalized you might proclaim, “I will not fear for God is with me. I will not be dismayed because Jehovah is my God. He will strengthen me, yes He will help me. He will uphold me with His righteous right hand. All of those who are incensed against me shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as noting, and those who strive me shall perish. I shall seek them and not find them – Those who contended with me. Those who ware again me shall be as nothing. As a nonexistent thing. For the Lord my God will hold my right hand, saying to me, “Fear not, I will help you.”So what does proclamation accomplish?· It takes our eyes off of the problem and puts them on the Problem Solver· It reminds us of God's faithfulness· It strengthens our faith as we agree with what God says· It changes head knowledge to heart belief· I personally believe there is power in the spoken word that comes from my mouth when that which comes from my mouth comes from a heart of faith. [The Lord Jesus said, Speak to the mountain and it will move! He did not say pray to God to move the mountain, he said speak to the mountain. Do not doubt in your heart but believe what you say will happen and it will.As elders we believe that proclamation is an important key to overcoming the enemy. That is what Jesus did when tempted by the Devil as recorded in Matthew 4.

Tension: sense of conflict, or a pulling force For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. 2 Corinthians 5:1-10 (NIV) Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, because when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. 2 Corinthians 5:1-10 (NIV) For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. Now the one who has fashioned us for this very purpose is God, who has given us the Spirit as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. 2 Corinthians 5:1-10 (NIV) Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord. For we live by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:1-10 (NIV) So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. 2 Corinthians 5:1-10 (NIV) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:1-10 (NIV) “The Tension Between FAITH and FEELING” Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV) To follow Jesus… we have to walk by what we don't see. So I say, let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves. Galatians 5:16-17(NLT) The sinful nature wants to do evil, which is just the opposite of what the Spirit wants. And the Spirit gives us desires that are the opposite of what the sinful nature desires. Galatians 5:16-17(NLT) These two forces are constantly fighting each other, so you are not free to carry out your good intentions. Galatians 5:16-17(NLT) I don't really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don't do it. Instead, I do what I hate. Romans 7:15-18 (NLT) But if I know that what I am doing is wrong, this shows that I agree that the law is good. 17 So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it. Romans 7:15-18 (NLT) And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can't. Romans 7:15-18 (NLT) We don't belong to this world. “Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God's people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God's mercy.” 1 Peter 2:10-11 (NLT) Dear friends, I warn you as “temporary residents and foreigners” to keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very souls. Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. 1 Peter 2:10-11 (NLT) We are in this world… but not of it. Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2 (NLT) We have a standard to follow. Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105 (NLT) All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 2 Timothy 3:16 (NLT) God's voice will always line up with God's word. We can't trust our feelings Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God's right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. Colossians 3:1-10 (NLT) For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory. Colossians 3:1-10 (NLT) So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual immorality, impurity, lust, and evil desires. Don't be greedy, for a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. Colossians 3:1-10 (NLT) Because of these sins, the anger of God is coming. You used to do these things when your life was still part of this world. But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language. Don't lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old sinful nature and all its wicked deeds. Colossians 3:1-10 (NLT) Put on your new nature, and be renewed as you learn to know your Creator and become like him. Colossians 3:1-10 (NLT) Choices lead; feelings follow. “It would seem that Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak. We are half-hearted creatures, fooling about with drink and sex and ambition when infinite joy is offered us, like an ignorant child who wants to go on making mud pies in a slum because he cannot imagine what is meant by the offer of a holiday at the sea. We are far too easily pleased.” - C.S. Lewis We need God's power to manage it. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 73:26 (NIV) The tension you feel is not stronger then the God you follow. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed the passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. Galatians 5:24-25 (NLT) Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit's leading in every part of our lives. Galatians 5:24-25 (NLT) And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Romans 12:1-2 (NLT) Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:1-2 (NLT)
