In this conversation, Dr. Samuel B. Lee interviews Daniel Pinchbeck, a world-renowned author and spiritual mystic, about his book 'The Return of Quetzalcoatl' and the merging of spirit and matter. Pinchbeck discusses his experiences with psychedelic substances and their potential to expand consciousness. He also shares a prophecy he received from the deity Quetzalcoatl, which predicts the end of time and the unveiling of hidden truths. The conversation touches on the therapeutic potential of psychedelics, particularly MDMA, and the challenges faced in gaining FDA approval for MDMA-assisted psychotherapy. Pinchbeck expresses concerns about the ecological crisis and the rise of right-wing movements, highlighting the need for global cooperation and borderless societies. The conversation explores the potential of psychedelics to lead to compassionate and empathic systems thinking. It also discusses the concern that the psychedelic movement has become too self-focused and entrepreneurial. The conversation touches on the future of human consciousness, the impact of technology on the human brain, and the dangers of merging AI with the human brain. The importance of returning to a balance with nature and embracing a multi-dimensional organic reality is emphasized. The concept of love is discussed as universal compassion and caring for everyone and everything.Story Notes:Exploring the Merging of Spirit and MatterPsychedelics and the Expansion of ConsciousnessThe Prophecy of Quetzalcoatl and the End of TimeThe Therapeutic Potential of MDMAChallenges in FDA Approval for MDMA-Assisted PsychotherapyConcerns about the Ecological Crisis and Right-Wing MovementsPsychedelics and Compassionate Systems ThinkingConcerns of the Psychedelic MovementThe Future of Human ConsciousnessThe Impact of Technology on the Human BrainWant to experience calm presence and clarity within 5 minutes?Check out the Focus Blend by Practical Peptideshttps://www.practicalpeptides.com/products/focus-blenduse code: DRLEE for 10% offThe best 1 day GI/Parasite/Liver cleanz -it fucking works. https://zencleanz.com/?ref=SAMUELLEE5% discount code: DRLEEACTIVATE YOUR INNER CHRIST/12 STRAND DNA ACTIVATION PROGRAM(Utilize the original celestial human language Anuhazi to rapidly activate your inner Christos)https://www.transcendencementalhealth.com/course75% discount code: INJOYDo you feel called to experience the multi-dimensional wisdom, unconditional love, and safety of your own soul?Introducing The Heart Protocol: a revolutionary ceremonial experience that can help you catalyze your highest timeline:To find out more visit:www.transcendencementalhealth.com and click begin your journey to book your free 15 minute call to see if this is calling you.#Psychedelics #ConsciousnessExpansion #MDMATherapy #QuetzalcoatlProphecy #FutureOfHumanity #SpiritualAwakening #AIAndConsciousness #EcologicalCrisis #SystemsThinking #HumanConsciousness #PsychedelicHealing #MDMAFDAApproval #CompassionateLeadership

With the 2030 clean energy target approaching, swift action is required from both the industry and the new Labour government. To meet this goal, we need to accelerate generation capacity, streamline grid connection processes, and optimize the use of existing resources. What strategies can help us achieve this, and where should the government focus to ensure success? In this episode, Chief Executive at Energy UK - Emma Pinchbeck joins Quentin to explore the challenges around clean energy the new UK government is facing over their first months in power. Over the conversation, they discuss: The importance of understanding the broader impacts of new government policies. How Energy UK is navigating political shifts as the UK's leading energy trade association.Energy UK's 'Mission Possible' report, highlighting five urgent government recommendations. The critical role of upcoming Contracts for Difference (CfD) auction rounds in achieving net-zero goals. The need for strategic planning and resource allocation for grid expansion.Mentioned in the episode Material World: A Substantial Story of Our Past and Future - Ed ConwayResults of Contracts for Difference second allocation round. Today Simon is embarrassing Harry in two ways, firstly by announcing that Windsor Auctions broke their house record at the last sale. Secondly by making Producer David edit in lots of clips from that auction where Harry got the estimates a little bit wrong. There were some fantastic items that could land Harry on the ATG ‘Wall of Shame' such as a Victorian pinchbeck pearl necklace from Watherston & Son and a silver and gold, natural saltwater pearl and diamond brooch from 1880. Also Simon is currently looking for a new home for some very, very heavy antique printing presses. There's chat on bidders getting a bit competitive over silver. An item that went way over estimate and the buyer wouldn't say why. Plus Simon got a free lesson on a custom made harp from a sweet old lady. Now we know there are lots of TV shows about buying and selling antiques and collectables but we thought followers of this podcast would like to hear about what goes on behind the scenes of an actual working auction house as we go about our daily business, the characters we meet, the things we find, and the things we wished we had never found. Famed for our slightly different auctioneering style, constant chatting on the rostrum, awful jokes. Stick with us as we bunk off to record anecdotes, interview others in the industry and basically gabble on. If you enjoy the podcast, please leave us a rating. We hit Round 2 of the FA Vase competition. Phil Annets is on hand wearing his @FavaseFactfile hat to give some insight into the big stories set to break with his stats and facts on those taking part this weekend. We thentalk to last year's winning manager, Gary Flinn still at Newport Pagnell Town and hoping to get his side's defence of the crown off to a winning start this weekend. We also talk to another manager of a United Counties League side, Lewis Thorogood at Pinchbeck United. They diced with relegation last season and he admits they were lucky but they are using that opportunity to spur themselves on and see an FA Vase run as a perfect chance to do so. Rounding it all up is Jon Couch from the Non League paper. The FA Cup grabs the headlines this week with the FA Vase and National League claiming plenty of column inches in this weekend's paper too.

In this episode Daniel and Amrit talk about capitalism as a transitory structure which is not innate to the human principles of coexistence. They dive deep into how we need to move to a new stage of consciousness, one that is based on cooperation and not competition, to help us make the necessary shift to overcome the global challenges we are facing right now.In traditional cultures, the purpose of rites of passage is to drive young members of the tribes to overcome their ego identity. They undergo a vision process which are then honored and welcomed back in the community. Once they have been through this passage, they have the capacity to take responsibility for the community as a whole, overcoming self-interest when necessary. In a parallel way, we have subconsciously self-willed the ecological damage in order to force ourselves to break free from limiting egoism. Going through a universal crisis, humanity can overcome individualism, becoming self conscious of a regenerative biosphere, constructing a new social design based on shared responsibility. At the heart of most rites of passages are psychedelic experiences. Many cultures believed using psychedelic plants properly helped them connect to their truth, others didn't have access to psychedelic plants because they reached other dimensions naturally. People who used these plants or naturally reached other dimensions of consciousness were repressed with christianity and the inquisition. Nowadays there is a huge interest in psychedelics. Back in the 60's, these substances were considered by the top psychiatrists amazing things that allowed a new access to understanding dimensions of the human psyche. The US government and others used to connect them with the green movement, considering them a threat to society. They were repressed for over 35 years. Daniel's book Breaking Open the Head in 2002, helped begin to shift the mainstream consciousness around this. The generation of teenagers that began with those substances in the 60's have matured. Daniel believes it is time for our society to be able to reintegrate these things, what their value is and what they can do. We need to change globally and it is only when we see ourselves as one planetary community that this can happen. Humanity has self-willed the ecological crisis in order to create required conditions for transcendence of our quality present experience, going through initiation on a planetary scale. This collective tribulation is necessary for us to evolve from our current level of consciousness to the next. By doing this we are aware of us as one unified being, a planetary organism in mutual beneficial relationship with nature and current systems. Everything from energy and agriculture, to culture, politics, media and ideology. Pinchbeck calls for responsibility to transform capitalist structures into cooperative ones, based on Eastern metaphysics, social ecology, and radical political thought.Level up your life with unlimited access to every Mindvalley Quest Program (over 30+ programs). This episode consists of two separate riverside ramblers with a similar topic: Where have we been as a collective, where are we now and where are we going. The first clip starts with the present, life here in Japan during COVID-19, the moronic response to COVID before broadening out to a discussion of the author Daniel Pinchbeck and his question: did 2012 happen? I then speak about the many cycles of time, using astrology and secular understanding such as Strauss/Howe's generational theory and how using both we could say that our current 80-year cycle has us in late winter and then I speak some about the astrological cycles of next several years, how the short-term forecast is very intense. And finally, I talk briefly about the Jupiter/Saturn cycle and I ponder how we can prepare for spring. In the second clip, I speak about the upcoming year of 2022, a year of disillusionment, grace, delusion, miracles, overdoses, death, power being exposed and possible redemption. I base much of this talk on the astrological cycles of 2022 and I bore down a bit on the details, offering a few specific predictions. I base these thoughts on listening to/watching/reading probably 20 hours of astrology media, several other forecasts from a more secular perspective, and my own understanding of current events. And at the end, I offer a few suggestions on how to personally navigate what I expect is going to be an intense ride but I'll reward those of you who read these intros the key word: Simplify! Cross James Merrill, H. P. Lovecraft, and Carlos Castaneda -each imbued with a twenty-first-century aptitude for quantum theory and existential psychology-and you get the voice of Daniel Pinchbeck. And yet, nothing quite prepares us for the lucidity, rationale, and informed audacity of this seeker, skeptic, and cartographer of hidden realms.Throughout the 1990s, Pinchbeck had been a member of New York's literary select. He wrote for publications such as The New York Times Magazine, Esquire, and Harper's Bazaar. His first book, Breaking Open the Head, was heralded as the most significant on psychedelic experimentation since the work of Terence McKenna. But slowly something happened: Rather than writing from a journalistic remove, Pinchbeck-his literary powers at their peak-began to participate in the shamanic and metaphysical belief systems he was encountering. As his psyche and body opened to new experience, disparate threads and occurrences made sense like never before: Humanity, every sign pointed, is precariously balanced between greater self-potential and environmental disaster. The Mayan calendar's "end date" of 2012 seems to define our present age: It heralds the end of one way of existence and the return of another, in which the serpent god Quetzalcoatl reigns anew, bringing with him an unimaginably ancient-yet, to us, wholly new-way of living.A result not just of study but also of participation, 2012 tells the tale of a single man in whose trials we ultimately recognize our own hopes and anxieties about modern life.Pinchbeck, journalist and author of the drug-riddled psychonaut investigation Breaking Open the Head, has set out to create an "extravagant thought experiment" centering around the Mayan prophecy that 2012 will bring about the end of the world as we know it, "the conclusion of a vast evolutionary cycle, and the potential gateway to a higher level of manifestation." More specifically, Pinchbeck's claim is that we are in the final stages of a fundamental global shift from a society based on materiality to one based on spirituality. Intermittently fascinating, especially in his autobiographical interludes, Pinchbeck tackles Stonehenge and the Burning Man festival, crop circles and globalization, modern hallucinogens and the ancient prophesy of the Plumed Serpent featured in his subtitle.

This episode dives deep and gets playful. That dive takes you into how my intuitive process works and how I can work with it and my dreams to give my life guidance and happiness, then a round of listening to me kick ass on the park golf course on a beautiful Friday the 13th afternoon and last some excerpts from the mind-blowing writer Daniel Pinchbeck and his groundbreaking e-book, "The Occult Control System: UFOs, aliens, other dimensions and future timelines." And then book 2, chapters 13 and 14 of my novel, "The Teacher and the Tree Man."
Daniel Pinchbeck's bestselling 2002 book Breaking Open the Head: A Psychedelic Journey into the Heart of Contemporary Shamanism had a profound effect on me when I read it in my early twenties. Along with the work of Noam Chomsky and Terence McKenna, Pinchbeck's writing definitely shaped the way I interpreted the fallout after 9/11 and the cascade of horror that was the Bush years. Here Pinchbeck shares his thoughts about a wide range of topics, from crop circles and shamanism to climate emergency and apocalypse. His book How Soon is Now: From Personal Initiation to Global Transformation comes out in early 2017.
