Tieto miesta ponúkajú príjemné podnebie, krátky časový posun a dnes už majú porovnateľné ceny s letnými dovolenkami,“ vysvetľuje obchodný riaditeľ spoločnosti Hydrotour. Mnohí cestovatelia si dnes kladú otázku, či sa oplatí organizovať dovolenku individuálne alebo využiť služby cestovnej kancelárie. „Cestovné kancelárie nakupujú veľké objemy ubytovania a leteniek, čím dosahujú výrazne lepšie ceny. Navyše, klient má istotu, že v prípade neočakávaných situácií, ako sú zrušené lety či extrémne počasie, sa o neho postaráme,“ hovorí T. Lazarov. Ako príklad uvádza pandemické obdobie či požiare na ostrove Rhodos v roku 2023, keď Hydrotour ako jediná cestovná kancelária poslala špeciálny let na evakuáciu klientov. Podľa T. Lazarova bude záujem o cestovanie ďalej rásť. „Ľudia dnes uprednostňujú investície do zážitkov pred materiálnymi statkami. Dovolenka sa stáva nevyhnutnou súčasťou psychohygieny a oddychu. Verím, že v najbližších rokoch budeme svedkami ďalšej expanzie cestovania, pričom dôraz sa bude klásť na kvalitu a zážitkovú hodnotu pobytov,“ uzatvára. This week, we are wrapping up our Turkey trip recaps and Tamara fills us in on her visit to Ephesus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the lesser-known city of Izmir. Episode Highlights Izmir sits on the Aegean Sea and Ephesus is a popular cruise port for cruises visiting Greece and Turkey. There are also a number of religious sites that attract religious travelers and pilgrimages. One site near Ephesus you can visit what is believed to be the last house that Mary, mother of Jesus, lived in before she died. Bodrum is more of a beach resort but Izmir is a city based on the sea. You can fly into Izmir, which is about 1.25 hours from Istanbul airport and the airport is about 20 minutes outside of the city. Izmir is a good home base for exploring the region in a hub and spoke manner. You should plan to stay three to four days in this region. 1 day in Ephesus 1 day in Izmir 1 day in Urla (fishing village, small artsy town, and wine route) Ephesus is a UNESCO Heritage site that has Ancient Greek and Roman ruins. The site is immense and there is so much that isn't excavated. So much is very well preserved. The Library of Celsus is a highlight. It is worth paying extra to see the houses with mosaics and frescoes. It is recommended to visit Ephesus with a guide and you need at least two to three hours. There is a lot of walking so you need comfortable shoes and it can also get very hot so you want to go early or late and wear a hat and sunglasses. In the summer it stays open until 10 pm at night so you can visit while it is cooler. Selcuk is a cute town nearby where you can go for lunch. The Izmir Marriott is right on the waterfront and has a rooftop pool, restaurant, and nice rooms and location. In Izmir you can: Walk or bike along the promenade along the coastline Visit the Ancient Agora of Smyrna Spend an afternoon exploring the bazaar Should season is going to be better because the heat in the summer can be brutal Izmir is also known as a place to buy wedding dresses Read more about Tamara's time in Izmir and Ephesus: https://we3travel.com/izmir-turkiye-3-day-itinerary/ Related Episodes Istanbul Cappadocia

Abortion: A Radically Decentralist Approach Stephan Kinsella Property and Freedom Society 2024 Annual Meeting Bodrum, Turkey September 19–24, 2024 Alright, let's have as much fun as we can with a topic like this. Contentious issues among libertarians: Anarchy vs. Minarchy Forms of state: monarchy vs. democracy Open borders vs. mass immigration Intellectual Property (we are winning this one) Israel vs. Gaza Ukraine vs. Russia Abortion: Pro-choice and Pro-Life I've changed my own mind a bit on this issue, after becoming a parent: from pro-choice. to more sympathetic to pro-life arguments, and to my current decentralist view Traditionally libertarians have tended to be pro-choice, including virtually all Objectivists, though there were always some minority pro-life voices (e.g. Doris Gordon of L4L). In recent years many seem to be more conservative, and more friendly to religion, and many more opposed to abortion than in the past. The LP removed its pro-choice plank in Reno in 2022 as part of the Mises Caucus takeover, the “Reno Reset,” arguing that the issue is not settled and each candidate should be able to adopt their own position on this issue. On some issues it seems possible to make progress. Many libertarians come from conservatism, or sometimes leftism, moving at first towards libertarian minarchism and then eventually to libertarian anarchism. I changed my mind on the IP issue and have managed to persuade a large number of people to adopt the anti-IP position. Views change on the issue of open borders and immigration and on particular issues like Israel vs. Gaza and Russia v. Ukraine. But it seems almost impossible for anyone to change someone else's mind on the abortion issue. The fact that this issue seems intractable, often rooted in deep lifestyle preferences or religious beliefs, is relevant, I think to how this issue is best solved in a political-legal sense. See Loren E. Lomasky, Persons, Rights, and the Moral Community (New York: Oxford University Press, 1987), p. 91: “The intractability of the dispute … may itself be philosophically significant.” There are the well-known arguments Pro-choice There is the modern, or feminist, argument: it's my body. Kathleen from Plenty of Sunshine Travel met with Fernanda from Star Clippers for this week's cruise chat. . If you found value in this video and wish to help this channel. You can send a donation using this link ~ https://bit.ly/KathleenPenner. Star Clippers is very unique. You will sail like our ancestors did many years ago, letting the wind take you to your destinations. In fact, Star Clippers try their best not to use their engines. They plan the itineraries to go in the direction of the trade winds. The Journeys are created with the wind charts, and the major energy source is wind propulsion—minimal motor emissions, which is safer for the environment. . You can climb the masts and get quite the view from the platform of the sails. Each day, you watch the beautiful sails being raised and go the way of the ocean. Most of the rooms don't have balconies, only on their newest ship are suites with a balcony..Their ships have a deep draft - which means that they sit low in the ocean, and because of this, you will not feel the waves as much as you would on the larger ships. This is an authentic way of sailing ~ It's not your typical way of sailing, and they are near replicas of the clipper ships from the Golden Age of sailing. . I would enjoy laying on the netting at the ship's bow and would love to see the dolphins jumping around us. . Star Clipper has an open bridge policy, which is a ton of fun to pop into the bridge and chat with the captain about the controls and the area around the ship. . There are knot-tying nautical talks where they teach you to tie knots properly and expertly. You can also “Take the Helm” and steer the ship. . Local Entertainment with Nightly Dancing Under the Stars & More! PLUS, you will enjoy complimentary Watersports. You can do snorkelling, kayaking, paddle-boarding, waterskiing, sailing, and more on the Marina Platform. . One guest left a review for Star Clippers - they said: There is truly no experience as thrilling as a clipper ship, the food is awesome, and the staff is fabulous. Sailing is for your heart and Soul. The Star Clippers Fleet Royal Clipper Length 439 feet Draft - 18.4 feet 54,000 square feet of sails. 42 sails, 5 Masts, 227 passengers with 106 Crew. In this experience Vinod and Geoff are both in Toronto, recording in person and celebrate the milestone of 75 episodes. We proceed to do an analysis of travels in July 2023. Geoff had a trans-Atlantic adventure, with flights to Germany, Austria, and Turkey. Geoff's trip was from Toronto to Frankfurt with a premium economy ticket that had been booked early in the year but wanted to try for an upgrade. ExpertFlyer helped to figure out the load factor and Geoff tried the Air Canada bid upgrade system. Forty-eight hours in advance the upgrade was accepted. Remember that Air Canada does not have pajamas in business class as part of the amenity kit. Air Canada business class is a solid product but not top of world class. Geoff got a pointer from another passenger on how to get sleep in the airline. When Geoff arrived into Frankfurt he checked if there was shower service in the Air Canada lounge. He learned departing passengers only and Lufthansa will not accept Air Canada passengers in their arrival lounge. Fortunately Frankfurt Airport offers a paid shower directly across from that lounge. Geoff took a train into Frankfurt Main Station and onwards from there, with a scheduled return back to Frankfurt Airport the next day. Geoff proceeded on from Frankfurt to Vienna. A very simple self bag check, and Schengen zone flight. A warning for those using the A wing of Terminal 1 in Frankfurt. There are no places for you to fill a water bottle with cool water and water bottles are sold for four euros or more. The gate Geoff was at did not require a pushback. Overnight in Vienna and a train back to the airport the next day. A straightforward flight on to Düsseldorf. But when Geoff arrived, did they forget all the bags on the tarmac without delivering them to the belt? An overnight in Düsseldorf and onward to Cologne the next morning. Geoff flew with Turkish from Cologne to Istanbul and his first impressions of the massive airport in Istanbul was the very long taxiing time to the terminal. He connected for a domestic flight onward to Bodrum. He returned to Istanbul a week later taking a 777 for a one-hour flight - which managed to have a hot breakfast service. Geoff stayed up all night for a planned Istanbul to Vienna to Toronto trip. There had been issues through the entire trip since it had been booked using points. It's a long walk through the middle of Istanbul Airport without moving sidewalks until you get to the assorted terminal wings. Geoff was told that his flight was late, and he was going to miss the connection, and was advised to stay another day. But the inbound flight connection in Vienna was late. Would he make it? After waiting an hour for takeoff clearance and arriving at a remote stand with a bus, and a sprint though Vienna Airport, the answer was no. Did Air Canada get passenger information from Turkish? Who knows. Could the Star Alliance connection work better? Absolutely. Geoff rants about the newer terminal at Vienna, the need to use stairs often at the airport and the narrow, dark atmosphere. But who was Geoff supposed to contact. Since it was booked with points, he was told to contact Air Canada. After multiple hours waiting, Geoff spoke to Mina at Air Canada, his trip saviour. He tried with Turkish to get a new routing, no chance. He was NOT going to fly back to Istanbul to start over. Air Canada covered the re-routing of his itinerary – now via Barcelona. After an unplanned short overnight in Vienna, and unanticipated excitement with a missing NEXUS card, Geoff flew via Barcelona. What a difference to Vienna with wide walkways and lots of light. A brief layover in Barcelona and a pleasant return flight to Toronto. If you're liking this episode experience, you may also enjoy Experience 9. "Our first deep dive into two different flying experiences." It's available wherever you listen to your podcasts. Vinod had a family trip to Toronto with a redeye flight from Vancouver which was not a pleasant experience. The inbound Air Canada flight was delayed, the passengers sat in the plane waiting for ground crews, the temperature control was uncomfortably warm at times (which is apparently an issue with the MAX), and the crew was uninterested. Vinod shares his rental car experience, and upgrades that can happen for those companies that share the same vehicle pool. Vinod was planning for his first ever flight with a transcontinental flight on Porter. How was his seat planning going? Apparently quite well. İstanbul'a vardığımda fark ettim.

Are you ready to learn a simple life hack that can rapidly transform your life?Well that is what we are going to do in today's episode. Start Segment Intending and watch how quickly your days start to improve. So what is segment intending? It is a simple technique where you focus your intention on specific time segments of your day to deliberately create the outcome you desire. Basically, it is a way to raise your vibration before you take any action to energetically prepave your upcoming experience. You do this by taking a moment to think about what is coming in a specific time period and how you would like it to be. POSITIVE THOUGHTS ONLY It works in conjunction with the law of Attraction. Examples are: Driving to work: "My intentions for my commute today are a clear and calm traffic free experience with a speedy and safe arrival"Going to the dentist: "Today's visit will be an effortless and painfree experience. I will be seen immediately and be in great health."Going on a date: " My intentions for this evening are to have delightful conversations, feel inspired and connected with lots of joy and laughter"Attending an event: "Tonight I will meet interesting people and will make impactful connections that bring me closer to my professional goals on a clear and effortless path"You get the idea..... Be creative. It helps greatly if you also visualize the desired outcome as reality and let yourself feel how good it feels. This raises your vibration to match the outcome you want.Good luck and have some fun with it!SAVE THE DATE!
