Alex "AX" FosterTake a walk with me down Fascination Street as I get to know Alex Foster. AX Foster is a former Senior Assistant State's Attorney for the state of Maryland. He practiced as a prosecutor in that office for twenty years before starting his own firm and becoming a defense attorney. After 15 or so years in that role; AX decided the time was right to write his first legal thriller novel called 'Gavel to Gavel'. In this episode, we chat about his previous career as an actor for 7 years; where he had tons of roles on several different daytime soap operas, and why he decided to switch gears and become a lawyer. Then we get into some of his State's Attorney days. We talk about his prosecuting criminal law where the cases ranged from drugs, gangs, animal cruelty, and even murder. Of course I find out why he decided to change sides and become a defense lawyer. We talk about the differences in the field, as well as some of the hurdles to keeping a law practice going. Finally, AX tells me why he decided to write his first novel; and why Covid was the right time. We discuss the basic premise of the book, and how many books he thinks will be in The Seneca County Courthouse Series. Book 1 of the series (Gavel to Gavel) came out a couple of years ago, and book 2 (Double Blind) is out NOW. If you like John Grisham or James Patterson novels, than you are sure to love The Seneca County Courthouse Series of legal crime thrillers. Follow AX on social media, and check out his website AXFoster.com. Make sure you grab both books in the sale bundle on Amazon.

As co-host Latif Nasser was putting his kid to bed one night, he noticed something weird on a solar system poster up on the wall: Venus had a moon called … Zoozve. But when he called NASA to ask them about it, they had never heard of Zoozve, and besides that, they insisted that Venus doesn't have any moons. So begins a tiny mystery that leads to a newly discovered kind of object in our solar system, one that is simultaneously a moon, but also not a moon, and one that waltzes its way into asking one of the most profound questions about our universe: How predictable is it, really? And what does that mean for our place in it?Special Thanks to Larry Wasserman and everyone else at the Lowell Observatory, Rich Kremer and Marcelo Gleiser of Dartmouth College, Benjamin Sharkey at the University of Maryland. Thanks to the IAU and their Working Group for Small Bodies Nomenclature, as well as to the Bamboo Forest class of kindergarteners and first graders. YOU - The Master Entrepreneur - A Guide to True Greatness with Stan Hustad
Like you most of the other stuff that comes flying through and often times is spam or otherwise I just ignore but the title of this post by a guy named Alex Foster caught my attention when it said, who is the greatest person that history has forgotten?..,, this lady's death saved literally billions of people from becoming crippled limitless in dead. Well I bit on the title and clicked and I'm glad I did, almost providential because there was a story of just that a young African-American woman by the name of Henrietta Lacks who unfortunately had died of cervical cancer as a young woman but the rest of the story is that in her death the title of literally billions of people from becoming... It's probably true. The story was deeply moving and really touched my spirit and heart but I couldn't get over the thought, why is this the first time in my long life and even as a teacher and a historian that I had never heard of this story before. Well I have now and I'm grateful and so for the few of you who will click I'd like to share the story with you too.
Alex Foster describes what it was like working as John McAfee's ghostwriter and what others can expect from working in the business.
The Invisible Man is among H.G. Wells' most famous novels. The story follows a scientist who discovers a way to make the human body invisible and tests the procedure on himself. The scientist attempts to reverse the procedure, slowly becoming more and more unhinged as time drags on and society seems to turn against him. This story is narrated by Alex Foster and edited by TMSOFT. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Have You Meet Mrs. Jones? de Rodgers y Hart; Love for Sale de Cole Porter, Like Someone in Love de Van Hausen y Burke o Well you needn’t de Theolionius Monk por sólo citar algunas perlas que contiene este poderoso trabajo. TRACKS 1-Ping Pong O'Connell 2-Have You Meet Mrs. Jones? Alex Foster is an Executive Assistant who knew that this was the career he wanted for a long time. It took some time for him to take the steps to become an Assistant and went for it, but it wasn’t without difficulties. He needed tenacity to be able to build a career in a space that is dominated by women. Only 6% of Assistants are men and Alex came face to face with some of the gender biases that exist within our industry. When he started to interview for roles it was clear that people weren’t expecting him to be interested in the job. The perception that this is a job held by females only is still out there in many industries and businesses. Not letting that deter him, he has worked hard to build his reputation and brand to be able to move the needle on his career. Alex has really had to fight for his career, this tenacity and speed of moving on from set backs that has allowed him to keep moving towards his goal. His love of this community is clear and he is still working to create the career that he wants, it’s a candid conversation about his experiences and perception of the industry today. From the role being undervalued by businesses, discrimination and gender bias, community, and personal brand. He speaks about it all. We speak about:

The meat industry has to change. Industrial livestock farming causes more than one-fifth of global greenhouse emissions. It uses more than 70% of total agricultural land. It means billions of animals are raised and killed in systems that disregard their welfare, and these systems are inefficient, expensive, and a threat to global health. Ahhh yes, friends, Paderborn 2017 has happened! As always it was a glorious celebration of freestyle skateboarding. Tony, Bob, and Simon traveled from just south of London to Paderborn, Germany with the elusive Scaife and our driving hero, ripper, scholar, and friend, Latetricks.com's own Alex Foster. There we met Michael, who had traveled there by train and later hitching a ride with a non-English-speaking German man who kindly gave them a ride. This podcast was recorded on the return ferry from Calais, France, to Dover, England, by Simon Mroz. Surely the first ever skateboarding podcast recorded on a boat.
In this episode, Tony and Bob discuss recent freestyle skateboarding events they've participated in and/or organized, including their fun and epic trip to the legendary Paderborn contest! Plus tales of skating in London. Fun for all! Give it a listen. In this episode we also go on about the brilliance of Alex Foster and LateTricks…which you can find at LateTricks.com!!!
