In our final week of looking at the scenes of Hamlet, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, the group used "Italian run-thrus" (rapid line delivery) and continued to work on the scenes switching roles. The group discussed the benefits and challenges of role-sharing and switching between the language styles of Shakespeare and Stoppard. Episode Highlights: - Christion discussed his experience of losing almost all of his real estate investments during the 2007-2008 market crash, and how he had to rebuild himself and his business from the ground up. - Christion talked about syndication, which is the legal way of pooling funds together to purchase a specific real estate asset. He also discussed the importance of structuring the syndication properly to avoid any issues with the SEC. - What is PREIshare? PREIShare is a platform that provides liquidity to real estate syndication investments by allowing investors to list and sell their fractional shares. - Who are the usual investors in Real Estate syndication? Typical investors in real estate syndications are doctors, attorneys, successful business people, or real estate agents who have done well and want to invest their money for a guaranteed return. - Syndication requires more than just forming an LLC and assigning equity positions. It is important to have the proper attorneys in place and understand securities. - PREIshare offers top-off services and preferred equity to help real estate syndicators close deals and cover unexpected costs. These services are more expensive than traditional investors, but offer the option to backfill and pay out with profits. - PREIshare is a platform that provides liquidity to fractional real estate investments, allowing investors to easily buy and sell their shares. - Real estate agents can work with PREIshare from the start of syndication by writing liquidity into the operating agreement and introducing the platform to their clients.

It's time for some of that old, old time religion as we tell a classic tale of blood, pride, mayhem and divine wrath. The Book of Enoch is one of the most consistently speculated upon books in the entire Judeo-Christian tradition despite not officially being part of the vast, vast majority of Jewish and Christion canons. Just what are they trying to hide? Probably just that God is kind of dick and makes mistakes. But that hasn't stopped people from latching onto the story of Enoch, the Watchers, and the Nephilim as evidence of ancient aliens and the true history of aliens and human hybrids. It's a weird one for sure. In this episode we're telling the story of the first section of the The Book of Enoch, The Book of The Watchers, which deals with the fallen angels giving technological secrets to humanity and being punished brutally by an angry god as well as Enoch's journey to God's house and magical mystery tour through a weird cosmos. Note: We are neither historians nor biblical scholars. We are morons. And we got a lot wrong. Most prominently referring to The Book of The Watchers as "The First Book of Enoch". While it is the first book in The Book of Enoch, 1 Enoch refers to the whole thing while 2 Enoch and 3 Enoch are entirely different books. Also, we had to cut any overt references to it but Sequoyah was dealing with a very stupid and very funny potential personal crisis and his head wasn't exactly in the game. How can we see God as a bigger God. Send up bigger prayers. Move from listening and knowing to doing. Putting your faith into action and making it your own.People who strengthen their faith are those who actually put it into practice. You don’t have to be perfect. It is ok to fail when you step out in faith. Your faith, your story grows anyway. God wants your story to be heard. There are a lot of people in this church who have powerful stories.With our faith are we actually practicing or are we just learning. Learning is good but doing is better. When you act on your faith, it opens a door and encourages others to start thinking about acting on their faith. And actually doing it!What are we building our faith on? Sand or rock? We should have limitless faith because God is a limitless God. It should be exciting to be a Christion. We server a powerful God! He is always amazing us and others. How can we put our faith into action today. We should pray that God will strengthen us and encourage and guide us. We need to believe that God is a great big powerful God. We need to see God alive in our lives. We need to pray that fear will not stop us from stepping out and putting our faith into action!
For those who have encountered the health care system - the emergency room is the greatest mystery for charges. Although very little of emergency room care is considered truly emergency life threatening care (est. ~3%) the care is some of the most expensive in the hospital. Whether that it is imaging, laboratory, or professional services - patients and insurers are expected to pay the inflated costs. So how do we control costs and not break the bank for all of our patients when they are possibly at their most vulnerable? My guest, Dr. Christion Rice, is an emergency medicine residency trained physician who has looked to change this narrative on ERs. He is a managing partner for Physicians PremiER which runs five freestanding ERs in Texas and Nutex which has two microhospitals. The newest addition in Oklahoma City will serve as a disruption for the market as it has full price transparency. Not only are the prices of visits visible to all patients - but they are upwards of 80% less than what the same services cost at the local hospitals. By contracting through private employers and working to market to self pay patients - Dr. Rice's hospital looks to deliver a high quality experience at a substantially lower price. One impediment to creating these innovative hospitals that we discussed is the existence of certificate of need laws or CON which exist in most states. The CON laws restrict all sorts of services and care and vary from state to state. Finally, a provision of the Affordable Care Act (aka Obamacare) prevents physicians from owning/running hospitals built after 2011. No doubt, this provision was added to the law by the hospital lobby creating an even greater incentive for physicians to join health systems and provide monopoly protection to the hospitals as well.
