Want a quick estimate of how much your business is worth? With our free valuation calculator, answer a few questions about your business and you'll get an immediate estimate of the value of your business. You might be surprised by how much you can get for it: https://flippa.com/exit -- In this episode of The Exit: In this tactical and deeply personal episode, patent attorney and engineer Craige Thompson shares how a devastating loss in his family sparked a lifelong mission to help entrepreneurs protect—and profit from—their innovations. From protecting EBITDA during an exit to engineering “commercially valuable choke points,” Craige reveals how patents can give you a monopoly-like edge and even solve for all five of Porter's Five Forces. You'll learn when not to file a patent, how to evaluate whether your idea is truly novel, and why licensing your IP with “field of use” carve-outs can lead to surprising monetization wins. Whether you're startup-curious or exit-ready, this episode is packed with frameworks, red flags, and real-world examples to rethink IP as a strategic weapon, not just legal paperwork. -- Craige grew up in his father's entrepreneurial small business in Fond du Lac, WI, where he learned the importance of protecting small businesses and helping them thrive. At Thompson Patent Law, Craige built a firm that focuses on creating Litigation Quality Patents® services—intellectual property assets designed to drive measurable business value. Their team ensures clients avoid unnecessary costs by focusing only on patents with real strategic potential. Through his Amazon #1 best-seller Patent Offense and the Litigation Quality Patent Podcast, Craige shares strategies to maximize IP value. Welcome to 2025! This week On Crappy Hour Live, Paige and Craig broke up and we're shocked. Well no one really is shocked but it's still sad mkay. Also, Jennifer Aydin bullied a senior citizen Jersey Mike's employee and is cancelled again, PK and Dorit's fate is looking poor, and Mia started to New Year with one less apple box to carry around in her trunk. Oh yeah, and surprise! Teresa Giudice is a musical genius! Lewis also leads and is the founder of EX Ministries; established to share God's Truth to the body of Christ and others, and to expose the deception of the enemy. He is often called on to speak about the hip-hop sub-culture, as he authored the "The Truth Behind Hip Hop" series. Musical is Spiritual Trace Embry, Rich Roszel and G. Craige Lewis discuss the impact of music on children and teenagers. They share that the music young people listen to can shape their identities and influence their behavior! To a higher degree, certain types of music, particularly rock, rap, and hip-hop, can have a negative impact on young people, potentially leading them to engage in harmful behaviors. They all stress the importance of parents being intentional in their parenting and being aware of the music their children are listening to. G. Craige shares his views on the spiritual nature of music and its effect on human behavior. He argues that music can bypass a person's moral code and influence them in ways they may not be aware of. He also emphasizes the importance of being filled with the Holy Spirit to discern the spiritual nature of music. Rich expounds on this and shares a personal story about how music touched his soul. Trace expresses this; "I think we've got too many people claiming the name of Christ who want to live like hell and expect heaven for a reward. It just doesn't work that way." Episode Highlights: Is there an inherent evil found in certain songs or certain kinds of music? Can certain music profoundly affect our kids behavior negatively? Why do parents overlook the effects of music? Is today's music worse spiritually than in years past? What are God honoring lyrics? Learn what Ex Ministries is all about! Image from Canva

I like to be active and I like to push myself. Five years ago, I swam from Spain to Morocco. I've climbed volcanic peaks in Latin America and trekked in the Himalayas. Being outdoors, having friends, accepting my foibles, listening for clues, and writing stories keep me going. I have many mentors. Some, like Dorothy Day, Father Damien, and my father are gone but they are always present. Mother Teresa, who suffered loneliness and self-doubt, is there when I feel hopeless. I am determined not to cave into fear. Listening to my heart is how I learn to feel sane. I rely on my wife, kids and a few friends for counsel. Being a perfectionist is a way to be miserable, and I am getting better at seeing the perfection of imperfection. Craig's horrible toxicity has arrived and it's in the form of spinning Naomie into the "crazy ex girlfriend". The reality is he never communicated properly with Paige OR Naomie and he's inaccurately delivering information to both parties. He wants the story to be: Naomie is still in love with Craig. Craig is in love with Paige. Naomie regrets ever breaking up with Craig and Craig wins Southern Charm. Meanwhile, Friendsgiving is cute but thankfully Craig is messy, Paige is mean, and Naomie isn't afraid to confront the problem head on. The finale of this episode is an absolutely fantastic scene between 2 women who realize they should have left Craig out of the conversation all along because men ruin everything. On this podcast, I often talk with guests about the waves they're making in web3 and yet, it always feels a little off as 99% of my day is spent on web2 even if I am talking about web3. LinkedIn and Twitter, while major hubs for web3 chatter and community, are very much web2, so it was refreshing to have a guest speak to this dichotomy and share the idea that not everything needs to be web3. And that we, as he is currently doing, will likely continue to mix the best elements of web2 with web3 to make the gradual slide into web3 more of an evolution rather than a revolution. This will also allow the tech to catch up with our lofty web3 dreams - you know where everything is on chain. This episode's guest is Brent Craige and we sat down in his hometown of New Orleans to discuss how he's putting the big easy on the web3 and crypto map with his projects — NFTeacher and Jammaround. NFTeacher currently is leveraging and Jammaround will leverage blockchain to shift paradigms and build a future that, like with all web3, will allow more people to create on their own terms while actively building community. To reach Brent, find him on Instagram @dr.clipz or via his linktree. To learn more about More Than Blockchain and/or contact us, please visit our website.

I'm pulling a Bravo move and sneaking in a Kandi and the Gang recap inside a Summer House recap. Even if I recruit 1 new viewer, it was worth it! If you have worked in a restaurant, you will connect to this show! It is not like VPR, where we never saw any authentic operational scenes. Kandi and the Gang gives us real restaurant dynamics, and the cast is stellar! We also have a new guest on the pod! Curtis is an old friend of mine who is a huge reality tv fan! He will definitely be returning. He was perfect to join Pia and me in recapping Kandi and Summer House. You get 3 different perspectives on the Lindsay/Ciara/Paige/Austen/Craig situation, which has become an EXHAUSTING conversation on social media, if I'm being honest. PLEASE RATE, REVIEW, SUBSCRIBE & SHARE WITH YOUR FRIENDS :) FOLLOW ME ON IG, TWITTER, TIKTOK, & FB - @shespeaksbravo

The day of riding the fence is OVER according to EX Ministries founder and pastor G. Craige Lewis who’s been speaking about the truth behind hip-hop for over 30 years. G. Craige’s passion is to educate people about the demonic celebrities who are deliberately leading millions of youth to hell. The largest influential idol on the planet, Kanye West, is one of the most dangerous supposed Christians who is infiltrating God’s church with a false “god.” Even though G. Craige deals with death threats and hateful attacks, he’s on a mission to lead as many people as possible to the Lord and eagerly prepares them for Christ’s return. He has had the opportunity to mentor many famous actors, artists, and professional athletes from around the globe. TAKEAWAYS Kanye West performs and promotes demonic rituals to millions Kanye’s deliberate release of his album Donda 2 on 2.22.22 Frequency manipulation is a major factor why so many people are sick The Devil’s platform is today’s Satanic music

Greetings my brilliant listeners! We have a fun, loud and interesting one with two of my greatest friends Jacob Nantell and Craige Cain. I've known these clowns since middle school and have stayed good friends till this day. There is a lot more to this group of friends but for now we had a blast getting a little drunk; myself on OUZO, and talking complete nonsense. Please spare me in my attempts to enlighten you. I know just as much, if not less than you do about certain things technically...BUT i will portrait my view as best and clear as i can, when i can. I want to thank everyone one of you individually who supports this show and give me the motivation to inspire others. Peace and love is just around the block... --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
