Subtext & DoubleCross in Steven Soderbergh's No Sudden Move This week Ibrahim & I are thrilled to recommend a new film playing on HBOMax - Steven Soderbergh's No Sudden Move. For over 30 years, Soderbergh has been an exceptional filmmaker, moving in and out of various genres, styles, and box office returns. From his debut with 1989's Sex, Lies, and Videotapes thru Oscar-winning films - Traffic and Erin Brockovich (both 2000), Box Office Hits - Out of Sight (1998) The Oceans Trilogy (2001-2007) and cult classics Haywire (2012) and The Limey (1999), Soderbergh has proven to be one of the most consistently rewarding filmmakers working today. No Sudden Move is easily one of his bests. Featuring exceptional performances from Don Cheadle, Benicio del Toro, David Harbour, Kieran Culkin, Ray Liotta, Brendan Fraser, Frankie Shaw, Julia Fox, (my good friend) David Mishevitz, and Bill Duke doing his Bill Duke thing. You should make time for this classic in waiting. Questions, Comments, Complaints, & Suggestions can be directed to gondoramos@yahoo.com.

Why watch the Oscars when you can listen to the boys discuss their favorite tv moments of 2019 in this year's Finale Awards. They give out awards including Moment of Black Excellence, The Gabbie Carter Sexiest Woman Award, and of course sound mixing. They coin a new term, "the rally wrap up" to describe an archetype in finales and declare The Prisoner (1967) the worst finale of 2019. John Paul praises Frankie Shaw of SMILF for her on set behavior and we reflect on yearly trends like Stolen Valor July and Martin Mull Madness. Each host gives their pick for the winner of each category, but the boys can use their Vito Spatafore Veto award to simultaneously discredit and hit on another host. Find out what award Honey Boo Boo won, who won the Best Boston Blue Collar Moment Award, and what Top Beef actually stands for.

Sami and Alise talk this week's news and events. After, don't miss their interview with Frankie Shaw, creator of SMILF and recent start of Bad Peter. The Sup's ever growing list of taglines keeps getting longer - but you read that here second. Is the Trump presidency the most insanely newsworthy one ever? Sami and Alise take a trip down memory lane - remember when the dumbest thing ever said was Sarah Palin claiming she could see Russia from her house? Or when Cheney shot someone? That was wild. Manafort is in prison for tampering with witnesses. Turns out, it's a REALLY nice jail. Trump is destroying NATO after a visit to Brussels. Meanwhile, Germany is increasing its military spending and Trump thinks they're a captive of Russia. Projection much? Trump hates Angela Merkel. Why? Because, as Sami puts it, "she's Hillary Clinton that won." Trump is in London today - The Sup sends its apologies for his visit in advance. Protestors have hit the streets, along with a giant baby Donald Trump balloon. Stormy Daniels was arrested and charged with three misdemeanors. In the words of Michael Avenatti to Donald Trump, "basta." They end on an update about the migrant kids, many of whom are still separated. Can't they just make a Hinge type app to help get parents to their children?!
Deadline's Dominic Patten and Pete Hammond discuss this year's Emmy race for Best Actor in a Limited Series. Then, Dominic talks to Frankie Shaw about her show SMILF and Pete talks to Jason Bateman and the cast of Ozark.
The creator, showrunner, producer, writer, director and Golden Globe-nominated star of Showtime's acclaimed new comedy series, which was largely inspired by the drama of her own experience as a young single mom, reflects on her blue-collar upbringing, accidental pregnancy at 24, move to Hollywood 11 weeks into it and years of personal and professional struggle that followed — until she took matters into her own hands by making, in 2015, a short film about her experiences that won an award at Sundance and paved the way to where she is today. But first: Michael O'Connell, THR’s senior writer on television, joins Scott to preview the 2018 Emmy season. Credits: Hosted by Scott Feinberg, recorded and produced by Matthew Whitehurst.

Rachel talks to writer/director/actor Frankie Shaw about her journey creating the Showtime series SMILF and why this is a worthy story for her to tell. "Our show was part of the movement," she says referring to the timeliness of the series premier and how it unintentionally lined up wth the #metoo movement. Frankie talks about how she was initially drawn to the arts in college after taking an acting and photography class. "This is the only thing I really feel I knew that I could do," she says.

Welcome back to Pilot Inspectors. Today we're talking about the new Showtime series SMILF, written, directed by, and starring Frankie Shaw. Today's intro music is "Tomboy" by Princess Nokia.
The Girlfriend Experience has become our go-to for great nudes this season, with a new raunchy bj scene from Louisa Krause this week. Elsewhere on the boob tube, Frankie Shaw gets into the camgirl business on SMILF, and Amber Rose Revah delivers some rare Marvel series nudes on The Punisher. But things get really crazy in episode five of Future Man, when Josh Hutcherson travels to the past to hook up with a topless Gwen Hollander, before he finds out that she’s his mom! And if that’s not enough weirdness, we’ve got an insane tentacle sex scene from the movie The Untamed! Finally, we are finishing up with some relatively tame full frontal from Diane Farr, and a brand spanking new butt scene from Katee Sackhoff.
Frankie Shaw (creator, SMILF); Sarah-Violet Bliss (co-creator, Search Party).
The Girlfriend Experience is pushing the limits this week on Starz with a full, uninterrupted 7 minutes of lesbian sex between Anna Friel and Louisa Krause. SMILF is breaking taboos too with a new Frankie Shaw sex scene that ends with a visible cum shot. Plus we’ve got two surprising nude debuts from a couple of big name comedians, Bridget Everett showing off her humungous pair on the very first episode of Amazon’s Love You More, and Maria Bamford blowing it out of the water with a lengthy full frontal on the second season of Lady Dynamite. And we’re looking forward to nudity from both Kristen Stewart and Chloe Sevigny in the upcoming movie Lizzie. All that plus the Wheel of Skin, and an interview with our Streamate CamGirl of the Week, ErikaXstacey Hey Bros The Soundtrack of your Life Sky Pilot Radio 60's thru the 80's http://player.live365.com/a60498?l

Frankie Shaw's new Showtime sitcom about a single mom in South Boston shows some promise, but did it make most of the panel -- including guest Stephanie Early Green -- too uncomfortable too continue? We discussed that, cute TV toddlers, and protagonists who don't learn before going around the dial with Rosehaven, 90 Day Fiance, a Netflix doc on Joan Didion, and The Pickle & Peanut Challenge. Tara took us to Detroiters with her Canon presentation, and Jordan Peele was this week's Winner, while our banned-men Loser list got rull long. Who was the odd man out in this week's Game Time? Listen to an all-new Extra Hot Great (while doing your Kegels?) and find out. GUESTS

According to Elliot, our most unreliable narrator: “Most coders think debugging software is about fixing a mistake, but that’s bullshit. Debugging’s actually all about finding the bug, about understanding why the bug was there to begin with, about knowing that its existence was no accident. It came to you to deliver a message, like an unconscious bubble floating to the surface, popping with a revelation you’ve secretly known all along.” We’re also here to deliver our message to you, loyal listeners, in the form of a bran new podcast for H3ll0, Fr1end: A Mr. Robot Podcast — and this is our review of “eps1.2_d3bug.mkv” — all about the bugs in our lives and in our software.
