You fell in love with who you thought you'd finally become through their eyes. Dr. Nima Rahmany spent 20 years as a chiropractor watching chronic illness follow relational ruptures — divorce, betrayal, grief — before leaving the entire system to understand why. A nervous system and attachment specialist, he built the Trigger Proof Method after hitting his own rock bottom: a toxic trauma bond, a moment of physical violence, and a reckoning with the question — how did I get here? What emerged is one of the clearest frameworks Dr. G has encountered for why relationships break down, and how they actually heal. In this episode, you'll discover: • The three phases every relationship moves through — and why most couples get permanently stuck in phase two without ever knowing it exists • Why the moment you get triggered, the pain you're feeling is your own self-abandonment — not what the other person did • How unhealed nervous systems pass invisibly to children, and what it actually takes to break the cycle before it goes another generation If your relationships keep following the same pattern no matter how hard you try — this is the upstream answer you've been missing. Today’s Topics: Father Thomas Czeck, OFM Conv., joins Terry 1) Gospel – John 4:43-54 – At that time Jesus left [Samaria] for Galilee. For Jesus Himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his native place. When He came into Galilee, the Galileans welcomed Him, since they had seen all He had done in Jerusalem at the feast; for they themselves had gone to the feast. Then He returned to Cana in Galilee, where He had made the water wine. Now there was a royal official whose son was ill in Capernaum. When he heard that Jesus had arrived in Galilee from Judea, he went to Him and asked Him to come down and heal his son, who was near death. Jesus said to him, “Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will not believe.” The royal official said to him, “Sir, come down before my child dies.” Jesus said to him, “You may go; your son will live.” The man believed what Jesus said to him and left. While the man was on his way back, his slaves met him and told him that his boy would live. He asked them when he began to recover. They told him, “The fever left him yesterday, about one in the afternoon.” The father realized that just at that time Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live,” and he and his whole household came to believe. Now this was the second sign Jesus did when He came to Galilee from Judea. Chad Bird joins the Thinking Fellows to challenge the popular idea that the Old Testament is a mysterious book filled with hidden codes and secret meanings waiting to be unlocked. Together, they examine the motivations and theological presuppositions that drive these approaches and why they often distort how Christians read Scripture. In contrast, the conversation offers a constructive vision for Old Testament study; one that emphasizes historical context, literary awareness, and the value of the original languages as gifts that clarify, rather than conceal, God's Word. Everyday items around us often have hidden features we don't even realize are there! For example, the tiny hole in a pen cap isn't just for looks—it's there to keep air flowing if someone accidentally swallows it. Ever notice the extra fabric that comes with new clothes? It's not just for patches; it's so you can test how the fabric reacts to washing! The hole in pot handles is meant for hanging, but it can also hold a stirring spoon while you cook. If you look closely at your car's gas gauge, you might see a small arrow showing which side your gas tank is on. Even your toothpaste tube has a colored bar at the end, which helps machines sort it during manufacturing. Everyday items are full of these cool little secrets that make life easier in ways we never even noticed! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

I feel like I need to get Jason on monthly just to interpret the goings on of this insane asylum we live in and translate how it is all playing out in the grand plan.Just when you think the theatre has reached a climax, someone outdoes latest depravity and a whole new bar is set.Whether it be culling ostriches, mutilating children, unchecked immigration, censorship bills, offering murder over medical treatment, manufacturing meat and milk in a lab or whatever other abomination going on, Jason is there to clearly describe how this fits into the big picture plan... a plan that is still unfolding and not yet written in stone. A plan that can be thwarted if enough of us stand up for the health and freedom of generations to come. And Jason is on a mission to wake up as many people as possible in as short a time as possible, because time is running out.He pulls back the curtain on the systems shaping our lives, exposes the tactics used to keep us compliant, and—most importantly—shares practical strategies for reclaiming your strength, autonomy, and hope.Whether you're new to Jason's work or a returning listener, you'll find insights here that will change the way you see the world—and your place in it. M.D. (Michael) Selig doesn't just write for the screen—he lived stories worth filming. A decorated Marine combat jet-attack pilot (A-6E Intruder, Desert Storm) and former Squadron Intelligence Officerwith5 Air Medals (one with Combat “V”), Selig later wrote/directed projects for Netflix, Showtime, Amazon Prime. His international best selling novel HUSH is a high-stakes psychological thriller about alien manipulation, Deep-State deception, and mind control—rooted in a historian's eye for ignored details and a warrior's understanding of mission reality. Selig is also a musician, outdoorsman, and devoted father who often opts for off-grid living. His new novel, HUSH, blends real-world ops insight with pulse-pounding fiction to explore alien manipulation, Deep-State deception, and mind control—and why so many “impossible” events manage to hide in plain sight.

Welcome to the DMF.I'm Justin Younts, and in this episode, Sara Alessandrini takes us inside the reckless, bold decisions that pushed her to create her documentary. For Sara, the journey began in 2020, at the height of her growing frustration with the film industry — particularly the way safety protocols were handled as theaters attempted to reopen during the pandemic. Watching parts of the industry prioritize visibility and fame over the safety of audiences deeply disturbed her, and it became the spark that ignited a much larger mission.Sara explains how this moment opened her eyes to the broader issues simmering beneath the surface: the accusations leveled at public figures without due process, the willingness of society to latch onto narratives without questioning them, and the way difficult conversations were being silenced. Determined to understand the truth, she connected with a community of supporters who shared her concerns, and together they set out to document what others refused to talk about. Her film became more than a project — it became an investigation into transparency, accountability, and the cultural forces that shape public perception. In this episode, Sara reflects on the challenges she faced, the unexpected resistance she encountered, and the insights she gained along the way. Join us as she unpacks the complexities of filmmaking, the societal issues intertwined with it, and what she discovered while daring to question the stories we're told.00:00:00 - Introduction00:00:08 - Decision to Make a Documentary00:00:23 - Moving to New York and Starting a Business00:01:20 - Frustration with the Movie Industry00:02:16 - Importance of Safety and Business Ethics00:06:12 - Experience with Workplace Complaints00:07:50 - The Danger of 'I'm Offended'00:09:35 - The Importance of Due Process00:14:04 - Making the Documentary00:15:16 - Exploring the Concept of Love and Hate in Society00:16:17 - Finding a Community of Cuomo Supporters00:16:54 - Social Media Usage and Its Impact00:18:18 - The Decision to Make a Documentary00:20:37 - The Influence of Social Movements and Political Narratives00:22:23 - The Role and Influence of Social Media Platforms00:26:23 - The Importance of Education in Democracy00:26:48 - The Shift from Policy to Personality in PoliticsCheck out Sara's website, where you can learn more about the documentary miniseries and find links to watch it! https://www.thisiswhatnewyorkerssay.com https://www.instagram.com/lasava.alessandrini/

Do you ever just feel exhausted? Your head feels full of to-do items, should do tasks, must do timeline deadline tasks. In a world full of messages we often miss the fact that we are bombarded with noise, hidden agendas, and constant consumer messaging non stop. It's hard not to notice when our inbox is overflowing with emails, and we need to sift through to find what is urgent and what is just junk. Every time we pop in our earbuds to listen to podcasts, music, audio books check out social media, or watch a YouTube clip we are bombarded with countless marketing ads. We can't even skip commercials now if we are watching something on demand. It's ridiculous! This is the real reason you feel overwhelmed, frustrated, and exhausted. You are constantly sifting through messages all day long trying to determine if it is an important message that you need to do something about, good information to consume, or just junk. We don't even notice that it is wearing on our brains and our ability to make clear decisive decisions. And we wonder why it's hard to be decisive or why we feel exhausted and tired when we “haven't done much.” In this episode we will walk through signs of mental overload and brain fatigue, talk about practical steps we can take to minimize feeling mentally overwhelmed, and find real solutions in this screen centric world (it's not just tossing your phone out the window, but that would be nice).
