Under the Electric Stars

The relentless stare of a hundred digital cameras, thousands of glares under masks, all focus in on a certain nobody — Caine Reyes — as they search for Su-jin, the only one they have eyes for. Featuring a split meaning for the title's pun, a way to make doors open, and three new voices… though one's more familiar to some. Trigger warnings for loud sounds, references to surveillance states, yelling, stalking, alarm sounds, and references to police brutality. Find us on our website at undertheelectricstars.com! Hello, Can You Hear Me? is an audio storytelling project that was funded by Wakefield Council as part of Our Year – Wakefield District 2024 It features ten folktales re-created by the storyteller, Beccy Dye. These were arranged on a period telephone which was then toured across the District. People simply dialled a number to reach a story, each story was broken up into parts, so if they wanted listens could create story mash-ups.The project included a live, family-friendly performance which launched the exhibition in each venue.Sounds Used in This EpisodeBeanstalks growing: Plant Growing by IENBA -- https://freesound.org/s/648958/ -- License: Creative Commons 0Prehistoric ambience: Jungle Mystic Ambient Mastered.wav by szegvari -- https://freesound.org/s/559471/ -- License: Creative Commons 0Landing: Landing On The Ground [6] by SoundDesignForYou -- https://freesound.org/s/646663/ -- License: Creative Commons 0Dinosaur: Dinosaur call by Alessandrobraz -- https://freesound.org/s/708641/ -- License: Creative Commons 0Digging: Digging20200426-125956_01.wav by szegvari -- https://freesound.org/s/515087/ -- License: Creative Commons 0Tree falls: Big Tree Fall in Forest by Kinoton -- https://freesound.org/s/494071/ -- License: Creative Commons 0Yawn: Yawning by rowlification -- https://freesound.org/s/701090/ -- License: Creative Commons 0Lying down: couch quick rise up 4_bip.wav by muses212 -- https://freesound.org/s/77255/ -- License: Creative Commons 0Mining single: dig3.mp3 by igroglaz -- https://freesound.org/s/593893/ -- License: Creative Commons 0Mining lots: PICCONE 3 MURO.WAV by lollosound -- https://freesound.org/s/387001/ -- License: Creative Commons 0Birds: Bird Noise - 12.wav by SpaceJoe -- https://freesound.org/s/507254/ -- License: Creative Commons 0Stone carving: R26-21-Metal Hand Tools on Stone.wav by craigsmith -- https://freesound.org/s/487084/ -- License: Creative Commons 0Rolling boulder: RockFall1b.wav by AlanCat -- https://freesound.org/s/381645/ -- License: Creative Commons 0Woodland ambience: Woodland Atmos 05 03-06-2022.wav by apintofmild -- https://freesound.org/s/640188/ -- License: Creative Commons 0Intro/Outro music for podcast episode: Folk Guitar Music Track by Dvideoguy -- https://freesound.org/s/246315/ -- License: Creative Commons 0

Bart. Zahlen. The ARTH value coin has completed the genesis of ARTH 2.0.  ARTH is a novel concept trying to create an inflation-proof stablecoin.  So far ARTH has not succeeded to realize this vision through two tries already.  Is third time a charm? ARTH 2.0 tries to build on the past failures of itself and other algorithmic stablecoins, and create an overcollateralized stablecoin with a unique peg which is 80% fiat, 15% gold, and 5% Bitcoin.  How does $ARTH work?  What is its value proposition?  What are $ARTHX and $MAHA?  Listen to this episode in order to find out! Binance Smart Chain has become the haven of DeFi innovation.  This week we cover three innovative projects offering new mechanisms to increase yields and provide more utility. AutoFarm has become my go to place to compare yields and stake.  AutoFarm provides automatic compounding on Pancakeswap, Bakeryswap, Belt.fi, MDX, and many more, while adding their own $AUTO rewards. Ellipsis is an authorized Curve-like project on BSC, providing high-liquidity swap on stablecoins.  Ellipsis also has a unique lock-in mechanism and rewards that allows it to offer sustainable (so-far) high yields. Belt.fi offers single-asset vaults by lending your coins across multiple other project, automatically balancing and switching between projects. Probably the most influential person in history conveyed the mysteries of the purpose of our lives through the gospels and the words and works of saints over the last two thousand years. By his sacrifice he bought us time and opportunity. But where did he go? What if you were able to ask him what’s changed and where are we now? Come to heaven, a far higher octave right here on Earth, and ask. Launching a new crypto project has taken many forms over the years.  It started with Bitcoin forks; followed by the Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) of 2017 and 2018; and then  Initial Exchange Offerings (IEOs), which were followed by some infamous self-launches with Bounce and others, many resulting in rug pulls.  Now the hottest trends is Initial DEX Offerings (IDOs); which leverage smart contracts and DeFi to offer a more fair, cost effective, and transparent launch. In Episode 17 we covered TrustSwap ($SWAP), one of the pioneers of IDOs.  In this second installment we cover newer launchpads which cater to smaller, quicker, but often not-less interesting offerings. Curve Finance is another backbone of DeFi.  It is so ubiquitous that some of its LP tokens have become stablecoins themselves, and many are composable into other services.  Curve focuses on stablecoins and pools of coins pegged to the same value (such as wBTC/RenBTC/sBTC).  It currently boasts over 30 pools, $3.6 billion TVL, and $500 million daily volume!  Curve is a place to know, both for its competitive rates for large transactions, and for its yield farming potential. With the rising costs of gas of Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is seeing an explosion in transactions and volume.  This week BSC reached an incredible milestone, exceeding the daily number of transactions of the entire Ethereum blockchain.  This time we cover two rising stars on BSC: Spartan Protocol (ticker $SPARTA) and JustLiquidity (tickers $JUL and $JULD.) Spartan Protocol is an emerging distributed exchange (DEX) on Binance Smart Chain (BTC) with a current market cap of $70M and a TVL of $32M.  Spartan had a unique approach to distributing its $SPARTA token and offers multiple liquidity pools based on the $SPARTA token. JustLiquidity is a truly emerging DEX which quickly reached a market cap of $45M with a TVL of $18M.  JustLiquidity is built on a two-token system, is traded both on BSC and Ethereum blockchain, offers both swap and DEX interfaces, and also supports a cross-blockchain token bridge.
