For EP20 of Chain Reactions, we talked to Locha, the founder of Fuul, a top-tier onchain incentives boosting protocol and application for marketers in crypto.Locha is an impressive multi-time founder from Argentina who has been deep in the weeds of helping market and grow onchain companies like Sushiswap and many more, starting with referral and affiliate links, and growing with the industry to help incentivize and reward more accurate onchain engagement for users all over.We had a really fun time talking through the nuances of onchain marketing and how early stage projects can think about incentive mechanisms, and this was a great follow up to last week's conversation with Fran from Superfluid. Please enjoy, and as always, be sure to subscribe, give us a five star review, and mint our episode athttps://pods.media/myosinxyz!
We've heard all the complaints at ETHCC about no applications and "all infra" in crypto. Where are the apps? To us, this is a bit silly seeing as we have a fully fledged onchain DeFi and NFT ecosystems as well as DAOs operating. The apps are here. The usecase is money. But, whats somewhat problematic to us is the lack of innovation on the DeFi rails since 2021-2022. So, we sat down with Bob Baxley to discuss this and more. Bob takes us through the latest in Maverick V2, introducing us to programmable pools that allow for complex interactions and reduced gas fees, making operations more efficient and cost-effective compared to Uniswap V3 swaps. This flexibility extends to directional fees, enabling different fees for each direction of a swap, which is especially useful for liquidity providers (LPs) with specific strategies like dollar-cost averaging. We also discuss zero knowledge machine learning (ZKML), which is a tech that allows for heavy computation to be performed offchain in a trustless manner, which can then be integrated into DeFi applications. This means more sophisticated models can be used for setting AMM fees or lending rates, all verified by ZK proofs to ensure correctness and security. The interview also touches on AI and Web3 integration, highlighting how offchain AI models can provide more nuanced outputs for DeFi applications. We delve into the multi chain strategy pioneered by Sushiswap, where Bob explains Maverick's goal to deploy everywhere, ensuring they can interact with other protocols and remain relevant across various chains. This contrasts with the appchain approach (modular thesis), which Bob views skeptically due to challenges in liquidity and composability. We thought that part was particularly interesting. From restaking and Eigenlayer to programmable pools and AI integration, there is a lot jam packed in this episode. Enjoy! Fresh off the Bezos boat of Bitcoin #ETF's and who the fuck cares, I went to the Zoolander DAIE spa for a claw manicure to ward off my stalker. Much to my deep disturbance, Manicurist is leaving the manicure industry to focus solely on her career as a perp trading influencer on #dYdX v4. I asked her why I would ever engage in peer-to-peer trading when my peers are largely sophisticated pseudo ivy league educated jewel-smoking narcissistic alcoholic Adderall fueled contemporaries who would no sooner spill my darkest secrets in exchange for a spot at Horace Man for their offspring. Unclear. The notion on Notion that my (father's) hard earned cash is better managed by SushiSwap over the light sex trafficking accused meaninglessly regulated tradFi institution is beyond my realm of comprehension.Ipso facto, With #ZeroKnowledge Alcohol proof, I must continue on my God appointed quest to solve Jon Benet Ramsey's murder with my #baccarat magnifying glass as well examine peer to peer trading and kreepto derivs.Alas, I am pleased to have decorated crème de la creme Advanced Sales and Strategy expert Mr. Kyle Trimble Kyle is a web3 Don Draper. He has been divinely blessed by his ability to make every cold prospect his deepest most treasured friend and his best men will encompass the entire defunct Genesis trading desk. He is a Renaissance man, what with is his burgeoning underground DJ career and Degen Solana Shitcoin trading strategies reminiscent of RainMan. Every single respectable woman of crypto, of which there are 12, has a deep seated unhealthy sexual obsession with Kyle, and it is for good reason; Here's my backstory. I met Kyle in the late 90s in the height of high frequency commoditized Somalian children trading during the children's Men's Fashion Week in Milano. Neither of us were chosen in the final round to walk the runway, a freakish decision -what with Kyles impossibly high cheek bones and lithe European figure, and my sporadic bulimia and keen ability to speak inflected mob like 4th grade Italian re Donatella Margherita Missoni Pizza grazie mille. Even though our failed modeling careers were a personal affront, I went on to pursue an intellectual career in beverage commercial work. Kyle is nearly single handedly responsible for making The Tie a household name while still maintaining an impressive following in the house music underground club circuit of Medellin where he cannot get a Sangria without being accosted. His most recent prestigious day job includes trading derivatives of derivatives of kreepto at Kemet Trading. During this episode, Kyle corrects many of my fervent misunderstandings.Per example, #KeanuReeves is not associated with Matrixport, being cheap fast and easy only works on Solana and in Dubai, and Delta Hedging has nothing to do with sorority and fraternity pledging.

In this week's episode of the DeFi Download, Piers Ridyard talks with Lane Kasselman, the president of Blockchain.com. They talk about Lane's experiences leading a rapidly expanding multi-services platform, the reasoning behind Blockchain.com's focus on user-friendliness, and the differences in cryptocurrency adoption across the world.Chapters00:00 - Intro[01:15] Lane Kasselman as President of Blockchain.com and the company's growth under his direction[01:56] How does Lane describe Blockchain.com and who its ideal user is?[05:20] What was unique about the DNA of Blockchain.com, and what did it do differently to remain in the space when many other wallet companies have vanished? [08:05] Are exchange products and institutional products on Blockchain.com custodial? What was the internal narrative behind the company's current offering of easier-to-use services for consumers and businesses, given the early decentralisation maximalism basis of "not your keys, not your crypto" that drove the company's early success?[10:35] Numerous markets in regions with troubled financial systems have adopted cryptocurrencies as a replacement for their failing monetary structures. What factors contribute to its relative lack of popularity in the Western world?[11:45] As a result of lagging behind in digitalising its banking system, Europe is now at the forefront of fintech, which will likely slow the widespread adoption of cryptocurrencies. China's slow adoption of cryptocurrency is a result of the country's widespread use of QR-code-based payment systems. By contrast, people in parts of Africa and South America are turning to cryptocurrency because of the region's inadequate banking infrastructure.[14:59] Neobanks were instrumental in laying the groundwork for new technology finance.[17:20] Most people would rather play it safe with their money than take any chances with it. However, the crypto community tends to attract those with a high-risk tolerance.[18:28] A challenge to the Blockchain.com model: Because decentralised finance is still in its early stages, we have tended to provide a safe-feeling consumer experience, such as Blockchain.com's customer support. MetaMask and Uniswap, on the other hand, provide no such help. Will there ever come a time when users are knowledgeable and comfortable enough with decentralised platforms to abandon centralised ones?[24:22] Will Blockchain.com's super wallet strategy additionally include providing users with an intuitive interface for accessing services like Aave, SushiSwap, and Uniswap?[26:14] The entire consumer model is all about value-add and an appealing interface, both of which crypto lacks. Another hot topic is regulation. Where does regulation fit into the development of better interfaces for services built on top of public ledgers that provide yield, liquidity opportunities, borrowing and lending, and are packaged into consumer-friendly products?[29:25] Reasons why the American government and regulators cannot make cryptocurrency illegal[33:49] One of the most serious issues in the regulatory sphere right now is the delay in thinking. The majority of regulatory enforcement actions have focused on obvious scams. Demonstrating the value of the cryptocurrency industry has become more urgent and necessary.[39:41] Where to follow Blockchain.comFurther resourcesWebsite: blockchain.com Twitter: @blockchain Lane Kasselman's Twitter: @kasselman Peter Smith's (CEO) Twitter: @OneMorePeter----------------Learn more about Radix:Website: https://www.radixdlt.com Twitter: https://twitter.com/RadixDLTTelegram: https://t.me/radix_dlt

After a week of studying (and some wild highs and lows) I was able to go over the Zed Token white paper and figure a few things out. Good thing BG was available to come on and help clarify things about the air drop and the future of the token going forward. The distribution still hasn't quite been completely figured out but as BG says in the episode he's figured out about 70% of it. The tier system still leaves a lot of questions there but since that was the only air drop it's probably best to focus on coin distribution going forward. Ideally they'll give us ways to spend it before they begin rewarding it to help keep the supply and demand in check. However the token is available to buy and trade on a couple of exchanges such as SushiSwap and MEXC. Be careful as you would with any crypto investment but if you're looking to stockpile before the game switches over to the coin you can find it to purchase there. Now the big token related news this week was the announcement that lending is coming any day now. This has the potential to give a lot of horses value and onboard new players with minimum risk. It appears as if you'll stake tokens for a lending permit then enter the lending market. Any profits made by the horses will be split between lender and borrower. No word as of writing this if the number of permits will be capped at a certain number or if they'll be given out each month in a lottery type system. There was also a very interesting screenshot posted by Zed creative director and co-founder Chris Ebeling on twitter. He showed a shot if two horses running down a two lane track in what we can only hope means head to head racing is coming soon. There's been a serious problem with the competitive balance in the game and something like this will give every horse a chance to win a little by making the matchups as even as possible. This is the kind of thing that can lead to party mode and other ways casual players can enjoy the game without getting beat up by the top 1% of players. BG also shares with us his plans for zandyland.run which will be coming soon and should be a major player in third party tournaments and other contests. It's really cool seeing so many developers working hard to give horses a value outside the main game. It would be nice if Zed followed the communities lead more often and figured out ways to give even the worst horses a chance to win something. Obviously they're not running a charity here but stable and player numbers are going down for a reason and lack of ways to win a little money is one of them. Big thanks to BG, DanShan, Zombie Racing and others who are really doing some incredible work here. I'm excited to see what people do going forward and hopefully we can keep it all evolving and finding new ways to get enjoyment from the game. I'm excited to see what people do going forward and hopefully we can keep it all evolving and finding new ways to get enjoyment from the game.SGPN FREE SURVIVOR POOL - https://play.runyourpool.com/sgpnSGPN Merch Store - https://sg.pn/storeDownload The Free SGPN App - https://sgpn.appWynnBET - Bet $100 and get a $100 FREE bet! - https://sg.pn/WynnBETJoin Sleeper and get a 100% deposit bonus up to $100 - https://sleeper.com/sgpSupport for this episode - IPVanish.com/sgp | OddsTrader.com/bluewire Follow The Sports Gambling Podcast On Social MediaTwitter - http://www.twitter.com/gamblingpodcastInstagram - http://www.instagram.com/sportsgamblingpodcastTikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@gamblingpodcastFacebook - http://www.facebook.com/sportsgamblingpodcast Follow The Hosts On Social MediaSean Green - http://www.twitter.com/seantgreenRyan Kramer - http://www.twitter.com/kramercentric Watch the Sports Gambling PodcastYouTube - https://www.sg.pn/YouTubeTwitch - https://www.sg.pn/Twitch Read & Discuss - Join the conversationWebsite - https://www.sportsgamblingpodcast.comDiscord - https://sg.pn/discord Reddit - https://www.sg.pn/reddit Learn more about your ad choices.
