According to the agreement, Triastek and Lilly will focus on improving the bioavailability of drugs in the intestine. Triastek will first conduct in-depth studies of the excipient – inert ingredients added to a drug product for specific functional roles -- to ensure drug stability is maintained during development and 3D printing. Tom welcomes a new guest to the show, Peter Goodburn. Peter is the founding partner of WaveTrack International and has trading experience going back to the 1970s. He breaks down the concepts behind Elliott Wave trading and why it's very useful in predicting price action. Peter discusses what the charts are indicating with regards to a diplomatic solution in Ukraine. Sufficient volume must be available for good long-term timeframe results with Elliott Wave. Peter demonstrates how well Elliott Wave theory predicted the price action of the 2007-2008 Financial Crisis. Future price development requires a very long-term approach with Elliott Wave. He demonstrates the use of Fibonacci sequences and wave patterns. Peter gives us his thoughts on the coming commodity supercycle and why the dollar will be a significant factor. He takes a good look at the oil and copper charts. Inflation will head higher after a lull and that will help propel commodities higher. Further weakness is coming for the dollar which will also drive inflation. He shows an interesting chart for Newmont Goldcorp and where he expects the miners to move. Silver will likely make new record highs. He believes that silver will begin to outperform gold. Guest Links:Twitter: https://twitter.com/ElliottWave_WTIWebsite: https://wavetrack.com Peter Goodburn is the founding partner of WaveTrack International. His trading experience spans back to the late 1970s working then in the commodities business for exchange members and their clients. In those earlier years of his career, he created the first OTC (over-the-counter) copper option product based upon the Comex (New York) contract around the mid-eighties, and in the same period, devised Opval, an option-evaluation software program that is currently used in many of the major market-making institutions of today. His fascination with price activity and how that related to the news flow within the markets captured his imagination early on. Peter's first annual diary of 1978 records his notes and remarks on how the interaction and relationship of fundamental news and price movement often contradicted themselves. Some years later, this was to ignite his interest in causal theory and naturally, the Elliott Wave Principle. He was first introduced to the Elliott Wave Principle in the mid-eighties listening to daily updates of financial commentary by Bob Beckman on LBC radio (London Broadcasting Company). This led him to the work of Frost/Prechter and their first re-publication of R.N.Elliott's (1871-1948) original treatise of 1938 (The Wave Principle) and 1946 (Nature's Law – The Secret of the Universe), entitled "the Elliott Wave Principle" (1978). Peter's a self-proclaimed purist of the Wave Principle but has developed a unique approach of geometric Ratio & Proportion that is instrumental in maintaining a dispassionate and objective view of the market. He has applied this analysis to every major asset class over the years, stocks, bonds, currencies & commodities, and promotes the importance of interdependency of the combined group. Peter has been a member of the U.K.'s Society of Technical Analysts (STA) for over twenty-five years and is a Certified Financial Technician recognized by the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA).

Jim Vance on Washington football back in the day - "I used to walk to the games, RFK. I can't tell you how many times I've walked home and it's a one way street going west. People would stop their cars at 11th and C and get out. And the people would come out of their houses. . . everybody was having a party in the streets of DC because we beat Dallas. We beat the Cardinals." Jim Vance - Legendary News Anchor News4 Washington DC A Ockershausen: Welcome back to Our Town. This is Part Two with Jim Vance. This is Andy Ockershausen. Jim, the thing that we always see in my mind, was Channel Four was Vance, the sports shows, what you would do with George ... It was just incredible. Your chemistry with Michael was unbelievable. And he was not an easy person to get along ... Another Philadelphia guy. George Michael Jim Vance: George could be a major pain in the butt. A Ockershausen: That's right. Perfectionist. Jim Vance: But, part of what people sometimes found so grating about George was what I figured out right away. George is an unrepentant perfectionist. As it regards his element of concern, his sports broadcast, his show, he demanded nothing but perfection. There's so many things I admired about George not the least of them, one of the people I met last Saturday at the Golden Circle Award thing was one of George interns from back 25 years ago who remembered so well how he used to have to wear a tie every day. I admire George for making his interns come to work every day wearing a tie. You were talking earlier about .. A Ockershausen: Felix. Jim Vance: about Felix respecting his audience. It's also a matter of respecting the craft. I appreciate ... And nobody respected the craft more than George. Beyond that I never knew a harder working man in my life, Andy, than George Michael. A Ockershausen: He seemed to be possessed when he was around his own show. Then he did it with the special show. Jim Vance: With the .. A Ockershausen: He made Sports World. Janice Ockershausen: Sports Center? A Ockershausen: Sports Machine. Jim Vance: Sports Machine. Thank you so very much. Before George taught ESPN how to do it. A Ockershausen: Absolutely he did. Jim Vance: I'll never forget the day I was going to the station and these construction crews in there like, "what the hell." They had this big crane. The very first satellite was being put up in our parking lot and some people were angry, because it took away at least five parking spaces which were at a premium. A Ockershausen: Absolutely. Jim Vance: Then I think now I can't even count the number we have in there now. That was George. His foresight was so sharp and so incredible. Then the number of people he brought in who then went on ... A Ockershausen: A lot of young people he taught the business to. We hear it all the time. Jim Vance: Taught the business to. Lindsay to this day, sings the praises of ... A Ockershausen: Lindsay Cadillac I call her. Jim Vance: That's good enough too. Except I call her Lindsay Rolls Royce. A Ockershausen: She's great. So many people that went through George. The team and Bob Ryan was such a part of your interplay with the staff. The Chemistry WRC-TV: George, Bob, Arch, Doreen and Jim Jim Vance: And Arch. A Ockershausen: Arch. Jim Vance: And they all came at about the same time in the early 80s. Bob, George, and Arch. A Ockershausen: And Doreen. Jim Vance: Well Doreen came later. Doreen is now with us 27 years. A Ockershausen: I know that's incredible. Jim Vance: Well now let me tell you what's even more incredible. This is a testosterone overloaded set with George, Bob, Arch, and me. Here comes Doreen, this drop-dead gorgeous. Big hair ... A Ockershausen: Yeah big hairdo. Jim Vance: Right. From Philadelphia just late of Tennessee or someplace. Walked in and made it clear on the very first day, "don't be punking me out, because I can hang with you guys.
Jim Vance on the proper way to learn the language - "What’s it called? Diagramming. Remember we had to learn how to diagram a sentence? That’s how you learn the language by diagramming. When you know where every word goes and why it’s there. And what its point is. What its value is. I keep from hearing from all these kids I see today. Nobody ever taught them diagramming. They don’t even teach it anymore." Our Town host Andy Ockershausen and Legendary News Anchor Jim Vance, News4 A Ockershausen: And this is Our Town. We're so delighted, and honored frankly, that our next guest is a regular in our house. He probably doesn't know it, but we used to see him twice a night, now we only see you once. Jim Vance: But I like your house, man. I like the way you've done it. Janice Ockershausen:Thank you. Jim Vance: Janice, it's gorgeous in here. A Ockershausen: Jim Vance started out as a teacher. We'll find out what he was teaching. He's been a hostage negotiator, he's been Washingtonian of the Year. The two are not related, but he's had 19 Emmies. That's incredible. He's in the Black Journalist Hall of Fame. He's a member of the Silver Circle of the National Association of Television Arts & Sciences, an imposing figure with unbelievable street cred. His opinion pieces give him a personal connection to his audience. He's a force to be reckoned with. Welcome to Our Town, your town, Jim Vance. Jim Vance: Well, thank you, Andy. And I appreciate so much being here. And, Janice, thank you so much to the both of you. I mean that sincerely. There are so few people, and you can attest to this, in this town that we can speak of as friends for almost 50 years. That's to be treasured as far as I'm concerned, man. A Ockershausen: What we've found out when we brought back the idea of Our Town, was the talk about Our Town to people, and everybody was saying, "well gee, I haven't heard from him." Or, "I didn't know he did that. Gee that's just great." So we've been so fortunate to have people such as Jim Vance. And really thinking that Our Town is special. Jim Vance: Right. A Ockershausen: And even though he was born in Pennsylvania? And he went to school in Pennsylvania, and he went to Cheyney University. I didn't know that, Cheyney University is part of the state system isn't it? Jim Vance: It used to be. When I was there it was one of the 12 state teachers' colleges. And I need to say, because I need to make the alum proud, Cheyney in fact is the first HBCU in the country. It wasn't founded as Cheyney, because it was founded as a trade school for black people in America by the Quakers. In I think, if I'm not mistaken 1837. Now there are some of the other HBCUs every time I say that, they raise their hand or raise their fist and say, "no, we were first, because you weren't really a college then." Or whatever the case may be. I say to hell with them. Cheyney is the first HBCU in the country and I am so proud to have been there. And may I say that, I am also so proud of the graduates of Cheyney. Ed Bradley and I, late of 60 Minutes- A Ockershausen: I was at a recent party that was a salute to you. And Ed Bradley was the main speaker. I was there. Jim Vance: Yeah, you remember that? A Ockershausen: A special night. Jim Vance: But he and I went to Cheyney together at the same time, played ball together, lived together. I was the best man at his first wedding. He was the best man at my first wedding. And we've each had a couple or three, but anyway ... We hold that in common as well. Anyway, I am so proud of him and of all the other graduates of Cheyney State. It's now called Cheyney University, but for all of who ... I came out in '64, so for all of us were there back in the day, it's still Cheyney State. A Ockershausen: Jim, that's well over 50 years ago. But you were born in Ardmore. Is Ardmore on the main line? I see it in my mind's eye? Jim Vance: You know what?
