Will the team be at full strength as camp begins in earnest? What's the plan to get a look at Cesar Ruiz and Erik McCoy without a preseason? What about Jameis Winston and Taysom Hill? Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas lands on the NFL's Top-100 players list within the top 10. Does he rank highly enough to carry a "prove-it" chip on his shoulder? Or low enough to carry the "I'll show you" variety? The New Orleans offensive players aren't the only ones finding their ways on to lists these days though. "Your best ability is your availability." Being Prepared For Your Opportunity Undersized and overmatched, at 5'8" Justin Forsett had plenty of reasons to give up on becoming a full-time NFL starter. It wasn't until 2014 at age 29 that Forsett "came out of nowhere" and proved them all wrong. Forsett spent parts of four seasons (2008-11) with Seattle and the 2012 season with the Texans. He played in nine games for the Jaguars in 2013 before injuring his foot, forcing him to miss the remainder of the season. Forsett spent more than two seasons with the Ravens, including one Pro Bowl year in which he took the league by storm in 2014. He was named to the Pro Bowl in 2015 following his most successful season in the NFL, and ranked #65 on the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2015. After breaking his arm midway through the 2105 season, recovering, and playing just nine more games with the Ravens, the Detroit Lions, and the Denver Broncos, Forsett announced his retirement from the NFL on May 3, 2017. Justin, however, will be defined by much more than his stats. Justin was a cherished fan favorite and big part of the community. He spent much of his time spreading advice and encouragement to his teammates and anyone he worked with. A Christian man of integrity, he was extremely active in volunteering to help those in need, the Baltimore community in particular, who embraced him back. When speaking to audiences, Justin has a genuine desire to positively impact others with his message of perseverance through life’s disappointments. Now THAT was a good session of football. JP Finlay, Rich Tandler, Mitch Tischler and Pete Hailey found Sunday's practice in Richmond to be the best one of training camp thus far and they are here to talk about it. This installment kicks off with praise for the offense, especially Alex Smith, who was really, really dialed in. You'll also hear conversations about both Josh Harvey Clemons and Byron Marshall, two players who are opening eyes in Richmond. JP has an interesting theory about JHC in particular, so make sure to listen to that. The guys then give their daily takeaway, which includes Rich bringing up Mo Harris (again) and Mitch talking up Derrius Guice's hunger for learning. Smaller but still important topics mentioned as well are Vernon Davis' lack of body fat and Kenny Ladler's performance, and the action wraps with JP interviewing Ryan Kerrigan. Kerrigan's got good opinions on not being ranked on the NFL's Top 100 list, Greg Manusky's scooter and his own up-and-down golf game. If you like podcasts where Mitch calls out JP for being a bad guy and Kerrigan picks one word to describe teammates like Preston Smith and Josh Norman, then this is the episode for you.
From running backs to wide receivers and tight ends and fullbacks defensive backs, cornerback and safties. The best top 10 players at their positions

Endzoneblog.com's Across the Middle Host Jon Kuzma covered the latest NFL news. The topics we discussed were the Cowboys linebackers, New England's unfair reputation, and Alex Smith being disrespected by the NFL's Top 100.
On this episode of the GSMC Fantasy Football Podcast host Tom Dougherty discusses the top ten players in the NFL according to the annual Top 100 rankings. These are rankings created off of votes by current NFL players. Tom goes through the top ten players and gives his thoughts as to the ranking as well as their fantasy outlook for this coming season. Aaron Rodgers came in at number 10 which Tom tought was a bit low for Rodgers to go, but due to his injury last year that is his rank. The best two defensive players in the league found themselves in the top 10, Von Miller and Aaron Donald will likely make the biggest fantasy impact compared to other defensive players. Antonio Brown and Tom Brady finished in the 1 and 2 spots with Brady taking number one for the second straight year.As always, if you enjoyed the show, follow us and subscribe to the show: you can find us on iTunes or on any app that carries podcasts as well as on YouTube. We discussed which Bills Individual Seasons were our favorites with Bills Insider Chris Brown. LA Daily News Rams Columnist Vincent Bonsignore talked about how the Rams are preparing for 2018 and gave us a recap on a tour of the new stadium in Inglewood (51:47). Finally, we debated the NFL's Top 100 Players of 2018.
Derek Ciapala and Steve Rebeiro bring a loaded podcast for Episode 2018:57. They visit with So. Cal Rams Booster Club founder Ralph Valdez to discuss the club's beginning and the upcoming RamsFest. Then the guys go through the mailbag to discuss Aaron Donald's No. 7 ranking in the NFL's Top 100, the starting linebackers, the team's response to the Atlanta loss and more. Finally, Derek and Steve finish off the podcast discussing the Rams' fantasy football rankings this season.
Minicamp has wrapped up for the Seahawks and now the team goes into a long six week stretch of the offseason before training camp starts up around the end of July. The purpose of mini camp and OTAs was clearly to hype up as many players as possible as Coach Carroll runs through a list of players who looked great. Earl Thomas was the only Seahawks player who didn't show up and joins other players in the division like Aaron Donald and David Johnson who are sitting out to try and get a new contract. Adam and Brandan run through the arguments commonly used against players who want more money as Adam calls out anyone who is against Thomas as being "pro-billionaire." Which strangely leads into a discussion about Paul Allen's Stratolaunch - the world's largest airplane. The NFL's Top 100 list continues and the guys pick up on the list of quarterbacks and the players who ranked out before Russell Wilson made his highest appearance on the list at number 11. Bobby Wagner shows up at the top linebacker behind Luke Kuechly. In the second half of the show, after a discussion about Terrell Owens' decision to forego giving a speech at the Hall of Fame ceremony, the guys get away from football talk to discuss a response from visor nation, Montana's "Testy Festy," the Mandela effect, and how the word about giving someone a thumbs down is spreading across the nation. After thanking some new members of the flock, it seems like we have a new listener goal of 3,000 members to get Adam into a pair of short shorts while wearing a man bun visor and doing the flute dance from this past season. Seriously, if you haven't seen the Billy Bob Man Bun Visor, you should stop what you're doing to check it out. Closing out the show, we get some closure on why Adam is against leaf blowers despite all of the evidence listeners mail in to demonstrate their usefulness. A disgruntled employee at Tesla and golfer Phil Mickelson need to do better, while better at life honors go to one of the top movies of all time and to former Seahawks Matt Hasselbeck and Mike Holmgren. With the Philadelphia Eagles coming into town this past week, Seahawks fans heard over and over how their opposition put up more points in the first quarter than any other team. Not only that, but their opponents had yet to score a first quarter touchdown. Seattle put an end to that streak and got out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter, which turned the tables on the Eagles who had to try and come back from a 17-3 deficit by the 3rd quarter. Timely penalties by the Eagles defense helped keep the Seahawks on the field along with a lateral pass that has stirred up some controversy (because the Seahawks can't win in prime time without it). And Seattle's defense once again forced a fumble that went out the back of the end zone to help keep points off the board. It was a tremendous defensive performance and a reminder to anyone that might consider doubting the capabilities of a team down three Pro Bowl starters. Next up, the Seahawks head down to Jacksonville as the guys talk about some things to consider when Russell Wilson goes up against the NFL's top scoring defense and a league leading passing defense. The formula for taking down the Jaguars isn't much different than the one they've used in the past in wins against the Eagles and Rams. After the break, Brandan touches a nerve with Adam when asking about his favorite Christmas carols after spending the weekend at the mall. They talk about who needs to do better after watching some dirty plays throughout the NFL this weekend. Finally, better at life nods go to an eccentric billionaire who is launching a vehicle into space and we take a trip to Prisco's World as someone unexpectedly calls for our quarterback to be considered in the MVP discussion. Nick (Chiefs) returns to the hosting chair with Justin (Seahawks) and Ken (Chargers) to talk about Jacksonville's lousy health luck with its top picks, where to draw the line on cultural appropriation in sports and NFL.com's Top 100 Players. Who's getting dissed, who's getting overdue respect and does any of it matter? Tune in to find out.
Into the third year of the podcast, and the first week of training camp is nearly complete as Adam and Brandan talk about the top stories coming out of camp so far. Bobby Wagner is under contract for four more years, Kam Chancellor is still sitting out and the team just traded for a Detroit Lions cornerback. The guys talk about the notion of the team having "too many" good players, and take a look at the top players who made the NFL's Top 100 list in the offseason. These are players every Seahawks fans should know, and the guys offer a bit of detail that you may not know about these players. What should fans expect to see from this Seahawks offense? What are some of the areas where they can improve? Which players could be poised to break out? The guys take on some of these questions. Do better nods go to Anthony McCoy for being "injured by the sun" and former wide receiver Percy Harvin who felt he was never welcomed by the other Seahawks receivers. A pair of Seahawks linebackers, Bobby Wagner and Bruce Irvin, are better at life this week. iTunes | Stitcher | TuneIn | Facebook | Twitter | RSS Call or text: 253-235-9041Email: gohawks@seahawkerspodcast.comDownload our free Amazon app, Android app, or iOS app Find Sea Hawkers clubs around the world at SeaHawkers.orgMusic from the show by The 12 Train, download each track at ReverbNation
