In the latest episode of the Embracing Your Voice podcast, we had the pleasure of welcoming the fiercely outspoken and unapologetically authentic Danielle Moody. As a former lobbyist turned media maven, Danielle shared her inspiring journey from the structured world of law and policy to the dynamic realm of media and podcasting.Danielle's story is a testament to the power of education and the importance of finding one's voice. She began her career with a focus on education policy, believing in the transformative power of a robust public education system. However, her path took a turn as she delved into environmental education and later became a vocal advocate for marriage equality, recognizing the need for diverse voices in the media. Her experience with Sirius XM, where she faced constraints on her freedom of expression, was a pivotal moment. It taught her the value of owning her voice and the risks associated with tying one's platform to another entity. Danielle's departure from Sirius XM led her to embrace independent media, where she could speak her truth without compromise. Now, with three successful podcasts and frequent media appearances, Danielle continues to shake things up, calling out injustices and educating her audience on the complexities of politics and democracy. Her commitment to integrity and truth-telling is unwavering, and she encourages others to be steadfast in their values and offerings.Danielle's message is clear: embrace your voice, trust in your unique perspective, and don't let the opinions of others dictate your path. Her journey is a powerful reminder that when we stand firm in our essence, we can achieve the impact and success we're meant to find.Listeners, if you're moved by Danielle's story and want to hear more from this incredible woman, be sure to follow her on social media at D2Cents and check out her podcasts, Woke AF Daily, Democracy-ish, and The New Abnormal. Michael says that the first obstacle that he had to face was being born. After many complications at birth, being diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy before hitting kindergarten, and being told he had only a few weeks to live at the age of 13, this man has been through a few things. BUT…He says there is even a purpose in all of this. Now as an advocate, author, and public speaker, Michael has shared his story on Capital Hill, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as the National Institute of Health. "When we're in relation, there will be conflict, and conflict isn't a bad thing. Conflict is, honestly, the greatest catalyst for growth. It's how we respond or react to it that can make or break what this looks like for you."Today, I'm sharing the three Harmonic Groups of the Enneagram, each containing three Enneagram types, one from each center of intelligence. On this episode of The Leadership Formula, I walk you through the fundamental way each Enneagram type deals when confronted with conflict, loss, and relational obstacles based on their Harmonic Group. Plus, how each Enneagram type responds to and handles adversity when their needs are unmet. I walk you through which Harmonic Group is emotionally reactive under stress, which group prefers to sweep their feelings under the rug, and which group remains emotionally detached when in conflict. Listen for insight into how you and those you love respond to the hard things that come up in our lives, for a deeper understanding and more compassion for yourself and others.Do you want to break out of the patterns sabotaging your next-level growth? I offer private one-on-one master-level coaching by application only. If you're feeling called to take your next step, please click here to apply. What You Will Learn Why conflict done right can be the catalyst for life-changing growth and transformationWhy Enneagram 4s highly reactive response to problems can lead them to feelings of hopelessness. How Enneagram 6s doubtful nature can test their partner's trustWhy Enneagram 8s are the first to confront others when relationship conflicts occurWhy Enneagram 2s hyper-focus on others causes them to overlook their own internal desiresHow the Enneagram 1s critical and detached nature can lead them into conflict with othersWhy 7s positivity can sometimes cause them to ignore their true feelingsWhy Enneagram type 9s sweep things under the rug, hoping problems will work themselves outWhy Enneagram 3s stay focused on the task at hand even when the world is crumbling around themWhy Enneagram 5s prefer to solve their own problems instead of seeking advice from othersConnect with Tracytracyomalley.comwww.instagram.com/tracy_omalleywww.facebook.com/tracy.omalleytwitter.com/TracyOMallwww.linkedin.com/in/tracy-o-malley/Email Tracy info@tracyomalley.com Resources Apply for Private One-on-One Enneagram Coaching:http://tracyomalley.com/shop/1-1coaching/Book an Enneagram Kickstart Session:http://tracyomalley.com/workwithme/Email info@tracyomalley.com

In this episode, we talk about reasons to forgive. No one can make you forgive anyone. This is a sacred choice and sacred responsibility. There are three big reasons it is powerful and beautiful. First, it is liberating. When you forgive, you are free from the anger you hold towards others or yourself.Second, it creates growth. There are vistas you cannot imagine until you embrace forgiveness. Enneagram 7s are innovators. These Enthusiastic Visionaries believe that anything is possible, and they want to explore all of their options. So, it follows that 7s have a passion for gluttony. But the way that gluttony is expressed differs by subtype. On this episode of The Leadership Formula, I describe the three subtypes of the Enneagram 7, explaining how self-preservation 7s find security through the gluttonous search for satisfying opportunities.I explore the unbridled optimism that makes one-on-one7s seem naïve, discussing how they channel their gluttony into an idealistic search for transcendent experiences.Listen in to understand why social 7s are mistyped as Enneagram 2s and learn how they act against their gluttony (and avoid their own difficult feelings) by being of service to others. What You Will Learn An overview of the 3 instinctual subtypes—self-preservation, one-on-one and socialWhat makes self-preservation 7s good at networking and getting what they want How self-preservation 7s find security through the gluttonous search for satisfying opportunitiesWhy self-preservation 7s are less idealistic than the other Enthusiastic VisionariesThe unbridled optimism that makes one-on-one 7s seem naïve and unrealisticHow one-on-one 7s channel their gluttony into an idealistic search for the ultimate relationship and best imaginable experiencesWhat's behind the one-on-one 7's tendency to embellish or idealize the reality of a situationWhy social 7s are often mistyped as Enneagram 2sHow social 7s act against their gluttony by being of service to others What social 7s can do to lean into the hard feelings they avoid by helping othersConnect with Tracytracyomalley.comwww.instagram.com/tracy_omalleywww.facebook.com/tracy.omalleytwitter.com/TracyOMallwww.linkedin.com/in/tracy-o-malley/Resources Book an Enneagram Kickstart Session:http://tracyomalley.com/workwithme/Book an Enneagram Experience:http://tracyomalley.com/workwithme/Apply for 1:1 VIP Coaching:http://tracyomalley.com/workwithme/Love Is Blind:https://www.netflix.com/title/80996601Email info@tracyomalley.com
Influencing and leadership seem like the same thing, right? Well… not exactly. You have to influence to be a leader. But to be an influencer, it's not always necessary to lead. The truth is that both of these roles are much different than we often think. The term “influencer” can make me cringe, but it doesn't just mean selling products to your followers on social media. On the flip side, leading can seem strong and noble, but it isn't always about being in charge of others. On this episode of The Leadership Formula, I discuss the differences and similarities between influence and leadership to show how even though they are often seen as interchangeable, there are very important differences between them and how they affect our lives. Listen in to understand the courage it takes to be an influencer, the importance of being able to lead yourself, and how different Enneagram types can use their strengths to lean into themselves as both creative influencers and strong leaders. What You Will LearnThe difference between being a leader and being an influencerHow my Enneagram type shapes my leadership and influencing styleHow leadership empowers people to do the work themselves to create a positive futureThe difficulties navigating the attention and significance often associated with being an influencer How certain Enneagram types tend to thrive as leaders, influencers, or bothHow being able to lead yourself translates into successfully leading othersConnect with Tracytracyomalley.comwww.instagram.com/tracy_omalleywww.facebook.com/tracy.omalleytwitter.com/TracyOMallwww.linkedin.com/in/tracy-o-malley/ResourcesWork with Tracy:http://tracyomalley.com/workwithme/Leave a Review on Apple Podcasts:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-leadership-formula-podcast-enneagram-success/id1491541582?uo=4Episode 220: Unlocking Your Full Potential: Understanding the Enneagram Instinctual Subtypes:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/ep220-unlocking-your-full-potential-understanding-the/id1491541582?i=1000551352223
Enneagram 8s are assertive, decisive, protective, independent and influential. And when we use these gifts for good, 8s are incredibly impactful leaders. But when an 8 is coming from a place of fear, protecting ourselves from vulnerability at all costs, these gifts become a wrecking ball, and we end up pushing people away. So, how can an Enneagram 8 learn to tap into compassion and use our power in service to others? On this episode of The Leadership Formula, I discuss the 8's fear of being betrayed, violated or put in a vulnerable position, describing the Challenger's motivational need to be strong and maintain a sense of control.I explain why an Enneagram 8 tends to judge people who don't assert themselves and how people experience less healthy 8s as domineering and aggressive.Listen in for insight around the intense energy of the Enneagram 8 and learn how an 8 can leverage their wings to lead with empathy and stretch into their growth number 2—the Compassionate Helper.
