POPULARITY
May we never lose our awe and admiration for God. I pray that as the King of kings continues to reveal Himself and His glory we would not rush but instead would take a moment to truly worship Jesus with Reverance and make way for His rule in our lives. We are to give our loyalty to the Christ while we patiently endure the dangers, toils, and snares of this present age. Holy Spirit is leading His people to eternity and beckons us, come home. ============================= Table of Contents: ============================= Lamentations 3:19-25 NASB Romans 8:12-14 NASB Malachi 3:1-6 NASB John 1:6-13 NASB ============================= Show Notes: ============================= Gospel Garage is a Christian Motorcycle Ministry which includes Saturday night church online. "When we look into our hearts, may our eyes have the kindness andreverence of candlelight."-John O'DonohueHow is your glimmering going? I'm here in Belgium welcoming my third grandchild into this wintry, Christmas season. What a delightful light-filled time to be born. In this meditative lectio divina Advent Glimmer, I read the gentle words of Irish poet, John O'Donohue, an absolute favorite of mine. His words are life-giving and healing. Worthy of writing down in your heart journal. Listen to these:"When we become false, may the severe moonlight cast our shadow clear."As I listened and edited, I also realized I made a massive error. It's around 2:46 or so and "eliminate" ought to be "illuminate." I can't re-record, so I'm allowing my human error to be food for thought. You will see the vast difference in the placement of that word. It must be...illuminate. May John's words and the Word of God illuminate you this week. This poignant lesson helps us understand why the children of God suffer. "If we are children, we are also heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ; if we suffer with him, we may also be glorified together." But, sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory which shall be revealed in us" (Romans 8:17-18). "Wherefore we are receiving a kingdom {a promise from God} which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God ACCEPTABLY with REVERANCE and godly FEAR. For our God is a consuming fire." (Hebrews 12:28-29).

This is the second episode in our 4-part Summer Series :: The Road to Conference. The idea with these conversations is to spend time over 4 episodes during the Summer to cover different aspects of Psalm 84. It is intended to be a resource to women everywhere - those who have decided to attend conference in the fall, women who are still deciding and even those who are unable but listen to the podcast regularly. Jon challenges us to engage our entire being as we ascribe value through our acts of individual worship. He begins with a story of a precious stone and how it is treated differently once its value is realised. Similarly he encourages us to reflect on the true value of our relationship with God and with each other. As we head into another period of physical separation Jon highlights what unites us and, in practical terms, how to recognise and revere the high beauty of God.

Tithes and Offereings are not the same thing tithes will get you one thing from God and offereing will get you something else. However, did you know that God views offerings as greater than tithes? Do you want to know how to touch Gods heart in a special way? In this teaching, Rev. Simba dives in the word of God and explains in details of how as believers we are to give an offering before the Lord, in fact we are to make ourselves living sacrifices everyday. Rev. Simba explains the different realms of love, and that Reverance is a higher form of love and it is what God requires. Have you ever heard the phrase “the fear of the Lord?” Do you understand the significance of it and why it is important? You will learn today as you sit and listen to the word today. Get a pen and paper; prepare your hearts and minds; and receive the word that the Lord has for you today!

There is only so much safety is worth, the ability to hide only giving some few pieces of merit. We crave more. There are lands beyond this horizon, but even then, it's not where we go, but what we value that matters. Fear breeds entrapment, fear brings a loss of stars. Fatal Neutrinos - Whispers of histories that weren’t, futures that mustn’t, and places that cannot be. Fictional short stories, presented weekly to add a little other-worldliness to your day. Last Sunday our main focus in this series on building the church was one that we make it into a place that people would recognize, as a Place to Belong. That they could with great hope and joy say to others You Belong Here. We need to understand the need for establishing ourselves on the Foundation, that is the solid cornerstone with is Jesus Christ. It is all about becoming a church that is grounded on the principals of Christ. It will be a church in which those in attendance are not merely in attendance because they are fulfilling their weekly obligation. But rather because they have a heartfelt desire to hear the teaching of the word of God and recognize the benefit of doing so, and doing so in the fellowship of a body of believers. So I ask you why you are here today. Have you thought about your reasons for being here in the body of believers- What do you want to take home with you this morning- Or do you care if you take anything home from this just so you fulfilled your obligation to be in attendance. That you can say someone saw you here, so they won-t ask why you were not here. As I said last week this is not a perfect church. Why because there is no such thing as a perfect church. We are all human beings in the flesh, when we are assembled here on earth as the body of the church it will not be perfect. Why because we are not, and never will be perfect in these fleshly body-s here on this earth. For far too long the church in America has set aside standards and values that pertain to reverence in the church. Why. Well I see several reasons for this first we should recognize that Satan will always be on the prowl to weaken the body of believers.
Family is at the heart of who the church is.

God's Goodness should be reflected in our lives, but also in our reverence for Him! Our love for Him should be more than just a feeling, when we know "GOD IS GOOD!"
Lecture by Swami Tyagananda given on November 9, 2014, at the Ramakrishna Vedanta Society, Boston, MA
You say you believe in God. Do you really? Do you live your life as if God is in the room, or do you assume He's not paying attention? You call yourself a Christian. Are you who you say you are?

Pastor Mike begins a discussion on the Fear of the Lord. We have natural fears of many sources, types and results, but all of these are fears of this world and fears that we can pray against as not from God. There is however, a FEAR of God that is something we all must have. With this basic information, the premise of this series is that; "We have lost the fear of God and replaced it with a fear of man". And when we lose the fear of God, we've lost it all....
