That's a big transition, and some people don't handle it very well — they really kind of fall apart.” “Success is living out the life that you have been handed. Your identity was predestined in some ways … but when I see someone living out their calling in life, regardless of how wealthy they are, that's what success is.” “To be successful at anything, you have to live consistently and with repetition to do whatever it is that you want to do well.” “I can't control an outcome. I'm not that powerful, I'm not that good. But I can always put myself in the position to succeed.” BOOKS MENTIONED: 48 Days to the Work You Love: Preparing for the New Normal by Dan Miller (https://a.co/d/34MIxq6) The Slight Edge: Turning Simple Disciplines into Massive Success and Happiness by Jeff Olson, John David Mann (https://a.co/d/27XN0BW) ASSESSMENT TOOL: Jordan Peterson Big 5 Personality Test USEFUL RESOURCES: https://www.garychupik.com/ https://www.elitemindsetnation.com/  https://www.linkedin.com/in/gary-chupik-22aba6161/ https://www.instagram.com/elitemindset/ https://www.facebook.com/gary.chupik https://x.com/chupik_gary CONNECT WITH JOHN Website - https://iamjohnhulen.com    LinkedIn - https://www.linkedin.com/in/johnhulen Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/johnhulen    Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/johnhulen    X - https://x.com/johnhulen    YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLX_NchE8lisC4NL2GciIWA    EPISODE CREDITS Intro and Outro music provided by Jeff Scheetz - https://jeffscheetz.com/

Today's word of the day is ‘ejected' as in Aaron Boone as in the Yankees as in losers as in bad as in baseball. It's been a mess. Aaron Boone is so fed up he probably got ejected on purpose. The Yankees have been one of the worst teams in baseball since June 13. Only better than three other teams. Aaron Judge is back, but he hasn't been able to get it going. What needs to change? (12:00) The Yankees Old-Timers' Day returned and Mariano Rivera got hurt. A ruptured Achilles! Take a look at wha the Brewers did for the alum. Way better! (23:30) Ichiro had his moment, again. This time the Seattle Mariners retired his jersey! And he's getting a statue! (27:00) NPPOD. (32:00) Review: Jurassic World: Rebirth. (35:00) Shedeur Sanders made his debut for the Browns and he impressed everyone. Best performance of all-time! Just kidding. He played good. Can't we just leave it at that!? (42:00) Preseason injuries happen. Every year NFL teams lose starters for the year. We had a scary one in the Lions game when a player got knocked out and did the fencer pose. The game was called.
