Fall asleep fast with this guided meditation and journey with dolphins. You arrive at a tropical cove at sunset and walk along the rocky shore. A pod of dolphins appears and invite you to swim along with them. You dive into the soothing, warm waters. Beneath a velvety blue blanket of stars, you play with the dolphins and swim to the deep ocean. They guide you to a secret island, where your name is written in seashells on the sand. You settle on the beach beside a bonfire and enjoy tropical fruit and the balmy air. You fall asleep in a hammock tied to rustling palm trees. So get cozy and listen as you use your imagination to self-soothe before sleep. It's time to dream away. This story has been re-written and re-recorded from an earlier version. In all of our extensive travels, some of the most meaningful encounters have been underwater in places including Mozambique, Tahiti, Indonesia and the Galápagos. These vibrant aquascapes are the settings for life-changing encounters with wondrous marine species that can shift our perspectives and priorities.Snorkeling and scuba diving around the world, we’ve been fortunate to swim with everything from whale sharks and dolphins to sea turtles, sea lions, manta rays and even a few (vegetarian) sharks—all totally wild, in their native habitats. But we’ve also witnessed dangerous and poor practices, too, from 50 tourists being allowed to jump off one boat into a pod of spinner dolphins off Oahu, to businesses profiting from keeping sea creatures in captivity. Knowing what we do about highly intelligent marine mammals makes these these situations totally unacceptable, and we want to spread awareness. We begin this episode hearing all about how underwater photographer (and children’s book author and entertainment industry executive) Pier Nirandara uses her compelling aquatic wildlife images to excite viewers about conservation. She also discusses her own boundaries and how she chooses excursion outfitters. Next, marine expert Frank Murphy, director of the Tetiaroa Society in Tahiti, shares his experiences with humpback whales as they make their annual migration past the atoll where resort guests of The Brando can safely observe them. And we connect with Chad D’Souza, general manager of Perth Wildlife Encounters, about their company’s long-running wild dolphin swims, which Eric experienced years ago but remain a highlight. We hope listeners will come away from this episode not only inspired to plan a life-affirming swim of their own, but confident that they can do so ethically, respectfully and sensitively. What’s more, we attempt to answer the question of whether the benefits to humans outweigh any potential risk or negatives for the wildlife, since we believe these firsthand experiences can directly result in an increased desire to support conservation.
In this episode, I interview my friend, healer and life coach Nina Mercie about her current transformational offerings and the legacy of her friend Kobe Bryant. Prepared to be inspired and ask “What would Kobe do?”

Yoga Radio Session #41 In the west, therapy is most often ruled by rigid administrative classifications. It´s either or or neither nor. Anna Johansson from Sweden, living in surfers´ paradise Puerto Escondido on the west coast of Mexico since the early 80´s, combine an intriguing variety of therapeutic methods and schools into her very own mix of psychologic remedies. So is this a new age-ish breed of mumbo-jumbo? Far from it. Anna is solidly grounded and eons from incense-infested prayers. With a solid knowledge base and education, she’s supporting people in their personal growth and understanding of themselves. In this pod, we get to know these disciplines and methods, as well as getting insights into the challenging work as a therapist in a country far from the relative stability and calm of the west. How can Anna empower people, teach them techniques and strategies to move on, to feel better and more at ease with themselves? She’s coping with her intense and long workings hours by taking care of herself through movement in various forms - for example swimming with dolphins. She also talks about how yoga changed her life and how her everyday life is affected by the violence and corruption in Mexico. There are, as we hear, big differences between Mexico and the west and of course big challenges ahead for the people in the country she loves dearly. The book Anna talks about as one of her favourites is Don Beck´s “Spiral Dynamics”. Another one is “When God was a woman” by Merlin Stone. And of course she’s seen “Roma” on Netflix and it grows on her. You can find Anna Johansson on Facebook if you look for the Anna Johansson who lives in Puerto Escondio. Maybe it was not a coincidence that I met a guy on the plane home to Sweden who read a book by Alejandro Jodorowsky. Swimming with the dolphins connected me immediately to my intuitive heart space. They were a mirror of non-judgmental awareness that reminded me of being with Maharaji. Being with him felt like being with someone who was human but not human, like a wild animal. I was removed from my conceptual conspiracy of relating to the world through attachment, greed and anger. -Ram Dass

"Me parece perfecto".- Les dije.
