What's ahead for 2025? In the first ESG Insider podcast episode of the new year, we're talking to Pulitzer Prize-winning author Daniel Yergin about the outlook for the energy transition in a landscape of geopolitical unrest and climate change.   “The global political situation is very unsettled, and that's going to reverberate on energy transition, on sustainability and on energy markets,” says Daniel, who is Vice Chairman of S&P Global and Chairman of CERAWeek, the annual S&P Global conference that has been described as “the Davos of energy.” Daniel leads the event's Executive Conference and tells us what to expect when energy, climate and technology leaders from the public and private sectors convene in Houston, Texas March 10-14 for CERAWeek 2025.  In 2025 many climate and energy transition conversations will center around emerging technologies and solutions. This is the focus of the other half of the CERAWeek conference, known as the Innovation Agora, and we talk to Atul Arya to learn more about this landscape and what's ahead. Atul is Senior Vice President and Chief Energy Strategist at S&P Global Commodity Insights, where he hosts the CERAWeek Podcast.   “Our goal with Agora is to move the conversation, move the technologies, and ultimately help companies solve the climate problem while meeting the energy demands,” Atul tells us.  Learn more about the CERAWeek Podcast here: https://ceraweek.com/podcast/index.html   For the latest information on CERAWeek speakers, agenda and registration, visit http://www.ceraweek.com/?utm_source=Podcast&utm_medium=ESGInsider&utm_campaign=JAN03  Listen to our previous interview with Daniel Yergin here: https://www.spglobal.com/esg/podcasts/talking-climate-diplomacy-and-the-energy-transition-with-dan-yergin   This piece was published by S&P Global Sustainable1, a part of S&P Global.         Copyright ©2024 by S&P Global         DISCLAIMER         By accessing this Podcast, I acknowledge that S&P GLOBAL makes no warranty, guarantee, or representation as to the accuracy or sufficiency of the information featured in this Podcast. Reverb Campaign #3 is here and we all agree that you cant go wrong with these rappers of this degree! Skills is the game we play and song writing is how we plan to stay! Sticky...sticky..sticky goodness is what we're all about here at the "shack"! Radio used to mean catchy, radio used to mean solid hooks and tracks you can sing along or rap too because you can understand the lyrics and its written in a way that makes sense to your mind that anyone can relate. Its the reason "hit songs" became hit songs. Those songs back in the day spoke to a wide range of people from all walks of life from all backgrounds to all races. That's what good mainstream hits do. They bridge the gap and bring people together under one common love and that's the love of music. If your song has the ability to grab multiple generations attention from multiple cultures across the world then you're on to something BIG!Halshack dives deep into the indie market to pull out and showcase what could be "hits" in their respective rights to their genres or styles. These rappers and creators are out here working their butts off grinding daily through life and work to try to spark some life back into the rap scene we all used to know and love and cherish! Gen X owns all popular music types. We expanded what was a bland market of soft rock disco and pop and turned the world on its head with stars like Dre, Snoop Dog, Madonna, Metallica and Guns and Roses etc..... There is no one better at music and its time to recapture that magic before all hope is lost to the major labels and their agenda to "dumb down" the industry! Well we're not having it here on the Halshack! In the words of the great TWISTED SISTER "NO! We're not gonna take it anymoroorrreeee"...lolBe sure to catch MIGS718 "live" at SXSW 2022 in Texas March 19!  Im sure it will be a great showcase! Modern Day Fitzgerald performed at Mid Coast Takeover in Austin, Texas March 2018. The band and I decided to perform with No Set List. Meaning we do not know what song we are going to be playing from beginning to end. I personally had some guitar issues during the set, I forgot some of my lyrics during some songs, and I was out of pitched on some songs. I also used feedback after some songs to figure out what the crowd was feeling and deciding what song to play next. I'll admit, this set was not perfect. Far from it. This was real, raw, unfiltered rock. I was vibing of my band mates, and the crowd. That night was between us and only us. The band, the crowd and I are loving every second of it.

The following guided meditation was written for a presentation I was part of during the New Story Festival which took place in Austin, Texas March 29-31, 2019. The New Story Festival is all about community, creativity and the common good. It's about telling stories that are empowering. I believe that when we envision a new possibility from our expanded Self (which we connect to in meditation), we literally magnetize that potential to us. This meditation is an opportunity to do that for the collective of humanity. To envision a new story of love and a planet that works for all beings.

Author- Chosen - Chronicles of an Alien Abductee. Byron W. Lacy Byron's  first contact with aliens age 5, monthly contacts 60+ years, communication with them, with them  4 times remembered, and aliens saved him from death 8 times.  His first contact with aliens was in 1955, age 5, but the significance was not understood until 2009 when a Star Gate opened up in front of him at a traffic light. A friend urged him to look into alien abductions, and what he discovered forever changed his life.  During this first contact at age five Byron was confronted with little men in his room three consecutive nights. Each time he called his mom they were gon when she arrived. She soon grew irritated with his calling. She never said they didn't exist, instead said “you are going to have to deal with them yourself”, leaving him feeling abandoned and eventually alienated from his entire family. Because he could not talk about it this event became disconnected from his life story. It became like a myth which he could never explain to himself nor forget. These events have continued monthly for 60 years.,Byron W. Lacy born in Burnet, Texas March 21, 1950 a. fourth generation Texan Contactee. Byron's great grandfather, George W.
