We had the pleasure of interviewing Tone Stith over Zoom video!Rising R&B singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Tone Stith shares his smooth new single and visualizer “Girls Like You” via RCA Records. This latest release is a follow-up from Tone's previous released fan favorite track “B.E.D” in 2022 and his seven-track project Still FWM, which came out in October of 2021. “B.E.D” and Still FWM displays his smooth vocals and honest lyrics while immersing you into the world of R&B with hints of pop and hip-hop. These releases are a continuation of that and cements Tone Stith's status as a quadruple-threat in the entertainment industry. Not only can he play various instruments such as drums, piano, and guitar, but as a songwriter, Tone has penned numerous chart-topping hits, including Chris Brown's “Liquor,” “Make Love” and “Undecided.” Although he has many accolades collaborating with others, Stith's solo music allows him to shine the brightest with his incomparable falsetto and raw talent. With his forthcoming EP, Tone Stith is ready to take his place as an R&B mainstay.About Tone Stith:Jersey-born R&B singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist (drums, guitar & piano) Tone Stith released his debut project Can We Talk in 2017, which garnered rave reviews from the likes of Complex, Billboard and more, and eventually led to Tone's signing with RCA Records. Stith's follow up EP in 2018, Good Company, included features from Swae Lee and Quavo and production from Stith, Bongo ByTheWay (Ty Dolla $ign, 50 Cent), The Audibles (Justin Bieber, Chris Brown), Marcos “Kosine” Palacios (Ella Mai, Christina Aguilera) and THE PRBLM SLVRS. As a songwriter, Tone has penned numerous chart-topping hits, writing and producing on Chris Brown's “Liquor” and “Make Love” and co-writing “Undecided.” He has also opened for H.E.R. in 2018 on her I Used To Know Her Tour. To close out 2020, Tone returned to the music scene with his slow-burn single “Devotion,” which was followed by “FWM” and “Like The First Time” in 2021, the latter co-written by Grammy and Oscar award winner Tiara Thomas. In 2021, along with a few live versions of his latest music, Tone released his project FWM and performed the title track at the 2021 BET Awards. Tone was also a part of iHeart's On The Verge artist campaign that same year. Towards the end of 2021, Tone dropped a “part two” to his previous EP, titling it Still FWM. The project had the singles “Something In The Water” featuring Maeta and “I Don't Wanna.” In 2022 Tone released the fan favorite record “B.E.D'' and went on his own sold out Set The Tone Tour, which hit 15 markets. Most recently, Tone has finished up his new project – coming soon this August – and just dropped the first single “Girls Like You.” With the anticipation building for his forthcoming EP, Tone Stith is ready to take his place as an R&B mainstay. We want to hear from you! Grammy AND Academy-Award winning singer and songwriter Tiara Thomas has got to be one of the coolest, most swaggiest chicks in the game… we welcomed her to TOP BILLIN' to not only give her flowers but learn how her talent blossomed into the career we see today. Her versatility as a songwriter has placed her in many rooms… from being a major collaborator with H.E.R., with whom she won a Grammy, working with Lucky Daye, John Legend, Mary J. Blige, Fat Joe, and many others. As an artist she was featured on Wale's “Bad” and she accounts how that relationship unfolded and why the song's release featured a newly recorded Rihanna, instead of herself – a moment that actually became a much bigger ble$$ing. Tiara is a true artist, completely dedicated to her craft and moves graciously in her element. Expect to hear new music from her very soon… Y'all better get real familiar! —-------Executive Producers for Breakbeat: Dave Mays & Brett JeffriesExecutive Producers: Bill Bellamy & Barry KatzProduction: TRDMRKD ProductionsRecorded: DASH Radio, Hollywood, CAIG: @BreakbeatMedia @BillBellamyComment, like and subscribe on the Breakbeat Media YouTube channel, subscribe on Apple, Spotify or wherever podcasts are available, and visit us at www.breakbeatmedia.com

Today's show  “GOOD MORNING GORGEOUS!“Good Morning Gorgeous” a new anthem for all of us by Mary J. Blige is powerfully resonating with so many of us.  Sister/Auntie Mary came out here telling all of our business with such beautiful transparency and truth through expressing her own journey. Today I bring focus to my interpretation of the message in this song and why I believe so many of us are releasing loving others more than we love ourselves AND coming into the awareness that the person we are looking to love us unconditionally, the person we are waiting for-has been waiting for us…”the one” reflecting back at us in the mirror. Mary J. Blige wrote “Good Morning Gorgeous” with D'Mile, H.E.R., Lucky Daye, and Tiara Thomas. H.E.R. also produced the single with D'Mile and contributes guitar and background vocals. She/They understood the assignment...and we are so grateful!

Sherry and Carla take a Love Fix question on if you should call out your partner when you see narcissistic tendencies and then welcome NLP Master Practitioner and Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Coach Tiara Thomas. Through her own process of healing and self-discovery, Tiara broke free of the codependent/narcissist cycle and founded the Self Love Method. She talks about how our core beliefs reflect the love we think we deserve, why self-love is so important when it comes to breaking patterns in relationships, and some subtle and overt signs you may be dating a narcissist.   What You'll Hear In This Episode:   Trader Joe's people may seem weird on the East Coast, but it's the standard on the West! A Love Fix Question — what should you do when your partner is displaying narcissistic tendencies?  Tiara herself dated a narcissist and went through a lot of pain, so she knows firsthand the feeling of being caught in a cycle of feeling hopeless. What are NLP and PsychK, and how can they help us get past the level of the conscious mind and into the subconscious mind? A large part of the process of getting over a narcissist is realizing that it's not your fault. Should we have empathy for narcissists? Does it come from trauma? What are some red flags that pop up when we start dating a narcissist or while we are in the relationship? What types of people do narcissists prey on? Interested in learning more about Tiara's Self Love Method? More info on how to link up with her and ways to work with Sherry and Carla on overcoming. What if a narcissist says they will get help? Narcissistic people are predatory because they are looking for people who give. Why are codependents a magnet for narcissists? Signs that a narcissist is projecting onto you.   Tweetables: “A big part of my process was understanding that it wasn't my fault that someone was treating me that way, and having compassion for myself and knowledge and understanding.” - Tiara “I'm learning to not take things personally or internalize what other people are doing.” - Tiara “When you have a high degree of self-worth, you just don't tolerate when someone treats you a certain way.” - Tiara “Have compassion if you ended up in a relationship with a narcissist. Part of that whole dynamic is gaslighting and manipulation.” - Sherry “Narcissism is created by trauma. And so it's okay to have compassion for someone who is operating solely from a place of trauma.” - Tiara “ That's the whole narcissist, codependent dance. They're magnets for each other, because of the codependent giver and people pleaser, and the narcissist who will take.” - Sherry “When you see a red flag, you don't minimize it, excuse it, you know, or dismiss it, you push into it, and you put in a boundary or you, you know, called somebody out on that behavior.” - Tiara  “They have their own abandonment issues. So they find other people that have abandonment issues, but they just express it differently than the codependent.” - Sherry    Connect with Us!   The Love Fix | @thelovefixpodcast Become a Member - Codependency Special (2020) - Wake Up Recovery  - $1 trial membership  Join the Narcissistic Abuse and Codependent Relationship Transformation Challenge FB group  The Love Fix Relationship Quiz

Mimi Faust has been charming the audiences of VH-1’s highest ranking reality TV show Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta for four seasons. Mimi’s confidence, style and wit is what keeps the viewers coming back for more, as she tries to balance both motherhood and new business ventures. Mimi is currently dabbling in interior designing/ remodeling homes and has hopes of expanding her expertise into a stylish, yet affordable home goods line. In addition to Mimi’s current obligations she has ventured into the hair business with her new line, The Maya Collection, which features a variety of wigs and hair extensions. When Mimi’s not filming she is dedicated to being a loving and devoted mother to her daughter Eva, launching her first book and supporting causes close to her heart. A quick click online yields this succinct definition of the word original: “Not dependent on other people’s ideas; inventive and unusual.” For those seeking the musical equivalent of that, you need look no further than Tiara Thomas. Thomas first vaulted into national consciousness in 2013 when she co-wrote, co-produced and appeared on Wale’s hit single “Bad.” Sweet melodies, soft backgrounds and powerful leads would be the only way to describe the unique but soulful sound of R&B singer Bahja Rodriguez. Bahja’s professional career began at the age of 12 years old as “Miss Beauty” with the popular and colorful girl group the “OMG Girlz”. The group performed on several major tours and had much success however, in March 2015 the group disbanded. Her debut EP titled “It Gets Better” will be available for purchase everywhere music is sold online November 20, 2015.

2014 is coming to a close and all over the country organizations are gearing up for their Year End Ask. Some organizations are not large but community based,  take care of youth, seniors, and the disabled, defend the weak and support the strong and most important STAND UP for the LGBTQ Community. Many of these organizations thrive off of the help and support of everyday people and their donations of money, time, and other resources.  Can We Talk for REAL co-host, Ina, Michelle and Terry would like for everyone to join us as we explore the true meaning of GIVING. Listen in Wednesday night as 4 organizations talk about their programs, their future, their wish list and others ways you can be a part of GIVING BACK. It is important to know that you have organizations that can step in and assist if you need them now or in the future. The sad part is if we don’t help, then who will? These organizations are our DIAMONDS and we need to make sure they shine BRIGHT. Opportunities are always presenting themselves and if you want to volunteer some time, if you want to write a check or if you have ideas that would further the organizations mission, join us. Wednesday Night we welcome to CWT4R, the Ruth Ellis Center with Jerry Peterson, Affinity with Jerrell Clayton, Chicago House with James Lobianco, and Gloria’s Helping Hands with Tiara Thomas.

In 2013, breakout star Tiara Thomas made headlines with the hit single ‘Bad.’ Now the singer/songwriter is back with the release of her new single, ‘One Night.’ Indianapolis native Tiara Thomas has been singing since her childhood and began writing the day she was given her first guitar by her father at age twelve.  “The first day I got the guitar, I wrote a song,” recalls Thomas whose major influence is Lauryn Hill. “The more I taught myself, the more I realized I could bring all three things together: singing, rapping and playing.” Years of hard work afforded Tiara the opportunity to attend Ball State University where she further developed her musical talents and later graduated with a degree in Telecommunications. The newcomer has already co-written, co-produced and co-starred on her first Billboard No. 1 urban mainstream single, Wale’s ‘Bad.’ Since then, her multiple talents as a singer, songwriter, producer and emcee have shown through. She is currently preparing to release her debut album which will be released by Rico Love’s Division1 imprint, distributed by Interscope Records
