After that, it's the hurlers turn, as they face Offaly in the preliminary quarter-final of the All-Ireland SHC. A win would put them into a quarter-final against Dublin and a chance at making the semi-final for the first time since 2018.All this and more on this week's Star Sport Podcast.Follow our hosts on Twitter: @dyldonot & @KieranMcC_SSProduced by Dylan Mangan.***The Star Sport Podcast is brought to you in association with Access Credit Union.Access Credit Union - Where your bank really does matter. Whistles blaring and bobble hats replaced, we settle in to give our thoughts on Race for Glory: Audi vs. Lancia. In 'What Has Henry Catchpole Been Upto This Week?' we stick with our theme and revisit some rally legends reborn in the Kimera EVO37 and the utterly delicious Prodrive P25. Our joint Youtube pick this episode is the wonder Tuthill Porsche film of the Rally With No Name, which perfectly walks the line between sharing the fun of the event without becoming too much about the fun or the competition. Watch it now before it maybe gets pulled! Inspired by the Collecting Cars podcast, we picked our desert island YouTube clips to watch over and over. Despite a whole list of amazing videos, Marty went with Henry Catchpole driving an Aston Martin N430 Vantage on the old Military Road. Chris went even further back to Chris Harris driving an F1 car in the near freezing cold at Silverstone and part 2. In episode 125 of the Outdoor Minimalist podcast, we return to the world of epic parenting. At least that's what I call it because outdoor parents are badass, and I have to say it. I've only had one other episode dedicated to bringing kids outside and on outdoor adventures, and actually, that came out just a few weeks ago: episode 121– how having a baby changed the way I play outside with Jocey Newman. This current episode can be seen as building on that topic and expanding into a bit more detail about not only how to get outside but also how to take care of yourself as a new mom in the outdoors and hone in on the items you actually need to pack for your kids along the way. I know I say new moms, but this episode is appropriate for any parent or anyone who knows a new parent or parent new to getting their kids into outdoor sports. To help me do this, I had to sit down and chat with a couple of moms who make every day an epic adventure with their kids: Karissa and Kailey Tuthill. Raised in the mountains of Colorado, sisters Karissa and Kailey found their playground in the wilderness, where every day held a new adventure. Fast forward to motherhood in the variable climates of Jackson, Wyoming, they faced a new challenge: finding sustainable, all-season clothing for their growing families. This led to the creation of Iksplor (phonetic spelling of 'explore'), a line of 100% merino wool adventure essentials for the whole family, and the first 100% merino wool nursing layer in the U.S. Through their brand and clothing line, Karissa and Kailey are honored to make getting outside with your kids easier every day of the year. Iksplor is more than clothing; it's a commitment to sustainable outdoor adventures. The Iksplor More program reflects this, allowing parents to sell back their kids' outgrown layers for cash or credit for the next size up, promoting a cycle of use that's all about the base (layer), not waste. Karissa and Kailey's commitment to the outdoors shines through in their personal lives, from backpacking excursions to celebrating each of their children's birthdays with an outdoor adventure instead of a Pinterest-perfect party. Mary Ellen Tuthill was born and raised outside of Boston, Massachusetts. A graduate of Boston College with a BA in American History she went on to earn two master's degrees, an MA from the University of Maryland in American Studies and an MS from Syracuse University in Communications. A self-described “perpetual student,” she worked for ten years as a radio news anchor and reporter. Family obligations precluded her moving to advance her career. It was time for a change. For the next 13 years she would work as a financial advisor also penning a financial planning column for the local paper. Eventually the rough and tumble of the securities business took its toll, and she embarked on a third career as a full-time financial writer. Her employer was iMoneyNet, the go-to place for money-market mutual fund data. Over 11 years she wrote hundreds of stories for the firm's flagship publication, “Money Fund Report.” She also wrote for other publications, all related to money market funds.  Hired in 2006, initially the work was uninspiring. What can you say about money-market mutual funds? Then came the financial crisis and everything changed. What had been a job writing about sleepy money-market mutual funds turned into a journey deep into the recesses of shadow banking. For money-market mutual funds played an integral role in the financial meltdown that dwarfed all others. Tuthill was hooked. She wanted to learn everything about shadow banking and as the days, weeks, months, and years passed, hundreds of articles, scholarly papers, marketing material from the banks and government reports. Laid off in 2017, Tuthill found herself with boxes and boxes of material. Her first task was to organize it by subject. Then, she continued to pursue her research. The result is “Repo-Madness: A Simpleton's Guide to the Street's Wicked Ways.”    Listen to this insightful RIA episode with Mary Ellen Tuthill about shadow banking and her book, Repo-Madness. Here is what to expect on this week's show: - How shadow banking evolved outside the purview of regulators in the 1980s and is largely misunderstood by the public. - How investment institutions started using repos to manipulate trading strategies in massive amounts. - Why many people don't know what shadow banking really is, including economic professors and experts in the field. - How repo agreements refer to short-term overnight loans involving trillions of dollars used by financial institutions - Why low interest rates make people overlook the potential risks of not rolling overloads every day.   Connect with Mary Ellen: Links Mentioned: https://www.amazon.com/Repo-Madness-Simpletons-Streets-Wicked-ebook/dp/B0C2SRMXZP/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3EJFQ9ZXCZ314&keywords=repo+madness+book&qid=1693274589&sprefix=repo+madness+book%2Caps%2C261&sr=8-2 Learn more about your ad choices. Our guest on this week's episode is Greg Tuthill, chief commercial officer at SeaCube Containers. It is estimated that 1.3 billion tons of food are lost or wasted annually worldwide — that adds up to about 30% of all food grown and more than a trillion dollars' worth annually. Much of the waste comes from food that spoils during shipping. The problem is only expected to get worse as people in many parts of our planet face food insecurity. How can we better protect foods from spoiling while they are in transit? Our guest discusses the problems faced in shipping foods and some possible solutions to avoid spoilage. There are a number of labor issues affecting supply chains — labor disruptions at ports in both the U.S. and Canada and a current strike at Yellow Freight to name a few. But nothing looms as large as the potential Teamsters strike at UPS. We share the latest of what is happening with negotiations at the parcel carrier giant.A changing work environment and declining interpersonal skills are combining to create headaches in the workplace — and many companies are responding with training programs designed to create a more professional, respectful office culture. This is according to a recent ResumeBuilder.com survey, released earlier this month. We discuss highlights from the report. Have you been trying to find a coach that works for you? This week we continue our convo with @abbyarrizon & @tuthilllisa!  This podcast (part 1 & 2) is for you! We don't hold back when it comes to financial decisions, finding the right personality, marketing pain point selling etc! Click the link in my bio to check out part 1 & 2 will be coming out this Wednesday!  We are all navigating a new frontier when it comes to online business. So how can we decipher what level of coaching we actually need? When hiring a coach we really need to have our own awareness around what the vision is for this coaching. What do we want out of this? Most of the time when I work with my clients we might start with one vision, but we end up gaining so much more together in the process. However, it is on the coach to know when they can offer the support their clients need or if they need to pass someone on to a different expert, right?  Contact Abby and Lisa below: Abby - https://www.instagram.com/abbyarrizon/ Lisa - https://www.lisatuthillcoaching.com/ Looking for Marketing and Alignment coaching? In this week's Unhook from Urgency podcast with @abbyarrizon & @tuthilllisa we are taking on the coaching industry's biggest hiccups when it comes to finding the right coach for you. We cover everything from pricing, personally hiring coaches, what you should look for when searching for a coach, and how important it is to acknowledge that your coach is also always growing as well!  What do you do when someone starts to pressure you into hiring a coach? How do you respond with scarcity marketing? Does it make your body twinge? Or maybe even make your stomach turn?  Here is the big question, what is the threshold between pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and just plain scarcity or lack. As a marketer, and as a business owner most of us know that we were taught to sell through scarcity, the ideology of looking where our clients lack and working to fill the void.   But here's the thing - we have all changed so much. What we know about people, how we address people, how we operate in society. Let's face it, business has shifted. We as a society are changing, so how can we continue to use old sales techniques like scarcity? In my opinion it's time to move on from looking at what our clients lack and start to look at what they have to gain and the knowledge they already withhold!  This one is spicy for sure, one of my favorites yet! J.P. Tuthill is a career Special Forces Soldier with a passion for helping others. He is a graduate of Grand Canyon University, a family man, a sports coach, and a father of four happy, healthy, and successful kids. After a 20 year career in the U.S. Army, J.P. and his family decided it was time to turn the page and begin their next chapter. As a Special Forces engineer and Team Sergeant, he had a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience that was not necessarily transferable to the civilian job market, and really had no idea what he wanted to do in his next chapter in life. However, this is common for most career military veterans. In April 2020, COVID shut down the island of Oahu where they lived just two days after they sold their house. They had no idea how fast the entire world would be turned upside down. In spite of the uncertainty in May 2020, he and his family decided to stay the course and leave Hawaii to move to back Scottsdale, AZ as they had planned. His wife would begin her new job, his step-daughter would begin her freshman year at Arizona State University, and their youngest had no idea how challenging her new life in AZ during COVID would be. With only three months remaining on active duty, J.P. committed all of his time and energy to find his next job, unfortunately, during COVID, it was an incredibly difficult task. He followed all of the guidance he'd received, used all of the tools and resources he had, exploited his network for opportunities only to end up with no job offers. In October 2020, during the height of his stress, anxiety, and uncertainty he found an opportunity to become an independent licensed health insurance advisor. Blinded by the thought that high income and working for yourself was the key to happiness, he began the journey to become a licensed health insurance agent. After six difficult months, J.P. realized he was working seven days a week in the wrong industry, for the wrong reasons. The job was unfulfilling and it was creating more stress on his family than before. In April 2021, J.P. began to explore new opportunities and came across an ideal role with a veteran non-profit, The Honor Foundation (THF). He learned that THF was laser-focused on helping Special Operations veterans succeed in finding purpose and fulfillment in their careers after the military, something he knew he was missing. After interviewing and winning the job he began his work at THF in June 2021 as the Director of Impact, Central. He quickly realized after attending phase one of THF's program what he was missing… His why. His purpose. It was then he realized that it was his mission to raise awareness and secure resources to ensure America's elite men and women have the tools, education, and network necessary to help them successfully transition to a career filled with purpose and passion after leaving the military. As a servant leader, J.P. has found his calling working with incredible donors, businesses, and foundations who have a passion for supporting America's elite veterans to ensure they have the best opportunity at being successful after years of honorable service to our Nation. https://www.linkedin.com/in/jeffrey-p-tuthill-jp/;

In this week's episode, Lisa Tuthill is revealing her insight on navigating misaligned relationships with spirituality.  She shares her own journey with uncovering energetic blocks and her journey through reconnecting and balancing her feminine and masculine energies and how she is teaching others to embrace their own alignment and uncover the person they are meant to be. Born and raised in Northern California, Lisa attended Sonoma State and received her BA in childhood psychology. Relocating to Santa Fe, NM for her master's degree in counseling, she knew she had found the right program for her with the program emphasis on personal growth and transformation. So began her journey of self-work. After meeting her husband in New Mexico, they moved to Montana and later settled in Wyoming. The mother of two boys 10 & 6, she has been a mental health therapist for almost 15 years in Wyoming counseling adults, children, and families.  A shift in her husband's work brought them to San Jose CA. Three years ago she took a deep dive back into her own work, focusing on spiritual and energetic healing by enrolling in a Life and Spiritual Coaching Program. Along with her own personal transformation, Lisa was able to bridge together her skills as a therapist with her new skills as a  Life/Spiritual Coach. This brought her deeper into alignment and so began the shift.  She realized she is meant to help and guide others who feel stuck in life. To help those that feel like something is missing. Lisa wants to help women make the change in themselves that ripples out into the world.If this episode inspired you in some way, take a screenshot of you listening on your device and post it to your Instagram Stories and tag us, @pamgodboiscoaching and @tuthilllisa.In this episode you'll hear:Lisa shares her own journey through struggles and healing both energetically and emotionally. Lisa speaks about the disconnect created due to our own beliefs and the stories that shape our lives. We explore strategies to take back your won power and create the life you desire. Lisa shares her journey with rediscovering her own spiritual self, and how to find alignment in a way that feels good. We dive into the process of setting healthy boundaries and the impact this has on all of us collectively!Lisa explains the impact of early conditioning and its place in your spiritual journey, and what you can do with it. LINKS:Lisa's Website: https://www.lisatuthillcoaching.com (Click “Get Started”) Lisa's Instagram Connect with me:  Instagram, Facebook, and Tiktok. If you're like “I love listening to Pam chat with guests.” Then head over and write a review!
