Struggling to create the life you truly (like, truly) desire?I'm here to let you in on a big secret…it might be because you set your targets and never explore and get “real” about how you got where you currently are and what it will take to get where you desire. I've taken every personal development workshop possible and what I am aware of is when I started getting “real” about where I am and “how” I got there, then I was really truly able to create the plan and map to get to where I truly desired. In this podcast I share with you my 3 favorite (simple) questions that I ask every year (and every quarter) to start the journey of discovering where I am and how the heck I got here. Here they are the 3 questions to start this process: What is one word to describe your 2022 year? What worked for you in 2022?What did not work for you in 2022? As the year is ending, I like to look back at the good, the bad, the ugly and the beautiful… all of it comes to mind. The past is there to guide you as we continue to look forward to the future. This might not make sense now, I totally get it.As you listen to this episode I will go through the different ways that help me get through ending my year feeling optimistic. With two weeks left in the season, the Eagles are in a position to make the playoffs. While they admittedly can't say they saw this coming, the Philly Frenetics do talk about the last two games (7:41) and how they'd now be disappointed if the team misses out on the postseason. Then, Joe fires off some eyeball-melting takes about lineman touchdowns (14:06) and what Daniel Snyder knows about Roger Goodell (17:34) before the guys offer up their "Heroes and Zeroes" of 2021 (26:15) and lay out some goals for Philadelphia's five major pro teams to strive toward in 2022 (36:36). As always, I try to be brutally honest with myself and transparent with you guys. This episode is no different. Many of us set goals in the back of our minds and forget to revisit them. Then when we DO revisit them, we lie to ourselves and don't revise them. Resulting in never reaching our goals. There is nothing wrong with missing a goal in pursuit but missing due to lack of work and adaptation, is a different problem entirely. - Follow me on Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/abarbosa000/- Follow me on Twitter - https://twitter.com/TheSimian_- Share, like, comment and subscribe on my YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFn3FPnTegakyd9YpoYfsQg- Premium 16oz boxing gloves - https://www.obsessiveaggression.com- Audio platforms - https://smokingsimian.buzzsprout.com

My goal setting practice always starts with how I want to FEEL versus what I want to DO. Because they will mean NOTHING if I achieve what I want but end up hating my life (or myself) in the process. We're back for another year of Bangin' On, and with plenty to sink our teeth into. Sex and the City is back too, but in what form and why? Kim and Kanye are reportedly on the rocks; we do what we can with the information at hand.
