This is just a very short bonus episode, it was part of an assignment for a class I am taking. This is the full interview I did, for class I had to do a video and edit it down to under 3 minutes. Enjoy this quick interview with Sam about being an influencer on TikTok and Instagram. Side note, I met her and her boyfriend James almost two years ago randomly in Austin while I was there for the ATX TV Festival and they were there for one of her comedy shows. I will be seeing her perform in Dallas in just a few weeks. If you don't know who she is, look her up, you will thoroughly enjoy her videos. They are both very kind people and actually have their own podcast called Weird and Proud, which is great content, so go check it out.Party In Your Mouth Shot (from Spirits Cocktails):Ingredients:1/2 oz Midori Melon Liqueur (green layer)1/2 oz Orange Juice or Pineapple Juice (yellow layer)1/2 oz Grenadine (pink layer)Optional: Colored sugar or pop rocks for rimmingIce (optional for mixing)Directions:Rim the shot glasses by moistening the rim of your shot glasses with a bit of lime juice or simple syrup. Then dip the rims into colored sugar or pop rocks for a fun, festive touch.Layer the shot, start by pouring grenadine into the shot glass as the base. Grenadine is heavy, so it will naturally sink to the bottom. Next gently pour orange juice or pineapple juice over the back of a spoon to create the second (yellow) layer. And finally, layer Midori Melon Liqueur on top, using the same spoon technique to avoid mixing with the juice.Serve Immediately.Encourage your guests to drink it all in one go for the full "party in your mouth" experience!Drinking Game:Just take the shot at the end of the interview, but try to make your mouth as wide as you can to see how big your gape can be.Or...make 5 shots for the five questions. As always, drink responsibly and with others. But Malaysians’ love affair with the fruit persists. Synopsis: Every first Friday of the month, The Straits Times catches up with its foreign correspondents about life and trends in the countries they're based in. Talk about what’s new with Johor nowadays and one usually ends up with a five-letter acronym - JSSEZ, or the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone. But all the excitement about rising opportunities has also hastened the demise of what traditionally has juiced up Johor’s economy - pineapple farms. Land packed with the hardy, spiky fruits is making way for more profitable oil palm plantations, data centres as well as other commercial and industrial activities. Malaysia is not giving up on pineapples though, as it's the No 2 export fruit after the mighty durian. Sarawak has earmarked 20,000 hectares just for growing the fruit. In this episode, ST’s foreign editor Li Xueying speaks with Malaysia correspondent Lu Wei Hoong about his love affair with pineapples and why it means so much to Malaysians. The Jungle Bird is a cocktail you need to be familiar with, especially if you struggle with that bottle of Campari that's staring at you from your bar cart. This tiki drink makes excellent use of our bitter friend in a way that will please even the most hateful of Campari haters – and we feel bad for the haters (please don't hate). Uncle Brad goes into the surprising origins of the Jungle Bird and, of course, gives us the real deal recipe while Jules hits us with a Kentucky twist. Stick around for the excellent tip inspired by @aberryx TIP: What are some rimmers and garnishes you can make on your own? I've been thinking about my relationship with the young people in my life lately, and I share a change I'm making to hopefully enhance my interactions. Perhaps you'll be inspired to do something similar. The libation of the month is another experiment! I make a single serving of rum punch using the strawberry syrup I'm made myself. Try it and let me know what you think. I'm open to suggestions. Rants cover an update on my toe nail saga! Remember that whole experience from last fall? I also give you a glimpse of my experience using the Duolingo App to learn Spanish. Let's just say losing doesn't sit well with me (Ha!). Q&A features a question about what to do when you don't feel like laughing and you don't feel joy. There's also a new question of the month for you to answer. I'd love to hear from you. Laughing Matters is published at the end of each month. It's the end-of-the-month highlights and includes four segments: celebrations, libation of the month, rants, and questions and answers. Celebrations are about intentionally forming a habit of noticing and acknowledging the good in you, in your life, and in your sphere of influence. The libation of the month is based on whatever I fancy or feel inspired by at the time. I share step-by-step instructions and you can mix right along with me. Rants are about anything I find funny and want to share. Then, I wrap up by answering questions received from listeners throughout the month. There's also an opportunity for you to answer the question of the month. Scroll down to see it, and then share your answer with me @ laughterandlibations.com. Send me an email or chat message. Sit down, have a drink, or a happy pill, what else do you need? In this episode, the vets look at what it means to be happy as a person and a professional. Are we passive in our ability to find happiness, or is it a mindset we cultivate? We all deal with different challenges in life, whether it's at our jobs, in our relationships, because of our health, or because of our finances. The Doctors look at different methods they've learned over the years to set themselves up for happiness in life and at the workplace. Whether it's taking time for yourself, learning to be grateful, showing kindness to others, or building a strong social circle, there are many keys to unlock happiness. This weeks drink: The Happy Pill: https://www.liquor.com/recipes/happy-pill/ 1 oz White Rum 1 oz Dark Rim .75 oz Pineapple Juice .75 oz Orange Juice .5 oz Lime Juice .5 oz Cream of Coconut

As simple and familiar as the "Scooby Snack" sounds, you cannot be prepared for what's in store with this cocktail or this episode. A quick glance at the ingredients will show artificial banana. If you are a serial killer like Bugbee and that does not stop you, get ready for a sweet, dairy, alcohol mixture that is lime green. Crazy as it sounds, that is not the strangest part of this episode. The Scooby Snack has the wildest origin story in 2G1C history. Whether you are a coco-NOT or a banan-NO you will still love the hilarious commentary from your favorite drinking buddies, Melody and Bugbee. Recipe: Scooby Snack • ¾ oz Coconut Rum • ¾ oz Crème De Banana • ¾ oz Melon Liqueur • ¾ oz Pineapple Juice • 2 oz Whipped Cream Preparation: 1. In a shaker with ice, combine coconut rum, creme de banana, melon liqueur, pineapple, and whipped cream. Shake vigorously. 2. Strain mixture over ice into serving glass. This is the season 5 finale! The music quizzes have done well for me, so why not do one more. This is all about Disney and Pixar movies!!! Can you get them all correct, Danielle didn't, she only got 18 out of 40. Disney and Pixar have created so many wonderful films that both young and old love! What are some of your favorites? I love Toy Story, I think it's my top Disney/Pixar film, it's still a classic. Anyway, enjoy the short episode and play along. Fun Wheel Cocktail (savvymamalifestyle.com): Ingredients 4 oz Pineapple Juice 2 oz White or Coconut Rum 1 oz Water 1 oz Grenadine 1 oz Blue Curacao Ice Directions Pour grenadine syrup into a hurricane or pint glass. Using a shot glass, measure out the other ingredients. A shot glass usually holds 2oz. Fill the entire glass with ice. In a separate cup, mix pineapple juice and rum. In another cup, mix water and blue curacao. Pour the pineapple juice/rum mixture into the glass with the grenadine syrup. Pour the blue curacau mixture into the glass on top of that very very slowly - it helps to use a spoon. Garnish with an umbrella or lemon slice - or both! Vet techs play a vital role in patient care and client communication in ways that touch people's lives forever. Return guest Jessie Johan stops by to swap stories about first hand experiences in the way vet techs positively impact their community. For some, it's the mentorship they provide training and guiding the next generation of the industry. For others, it's the extra care they show to the animals we love. But most of all, it's exemplified by their drive to go above and beyond the call of duty, giving back in ways that are invaluable to the nexus of lives they touch. This episode is a call to appreciation for all the vet techs who go the extra mile caring for us and our pets. This Episode's drinkypoo: Laid Back: 1 oz.
