In this episode, Troy Trewin hosts Amman Ahmed, president of Create Music Group based in Manchester, United Kingdom. The visionary entrepreneur behind a multimillion-pound music empire. Amman shares his insightful journey, revealing tax planning secrets and growth strategies that propelled his business from a humble start to extraordinary success. Join them for a riveting discussion on small business triumphs and entrepreneurial wisdom. Why would you wait any longer to start living the lifestyle you signed up for? Balance your health, wealth, relationships and business growth. And focus your time and energy and make the most of this year. Let's get into it by clicking here. Troy delves into our guest's startup journey, their perception of success, industry reconsideration, and the pivotal stress point during business expansion. They discuss the joys of small business growth, vital entrepreneurial habits, and strategies for team building, encompassing wins, blunders, and invaluable advice. And a snapshot of the final five Grow A Small Business Questions: According to Amman the hardest part of growing a small business, excluding tax considerations, is the challenge of remaining focused amidst distractions. Many entrepreneurs fall into the trap of spending too much time on non-essential activities like excessive pitching, networking events, and conferences. The key is to be patient, keep your head down, and stay focused until you're ready to emerge with a profit. Amman Ahmed shared that his favorite business book, which has helped him the most, is "The Four Hour Workweek" by Tim Ferriss. This resource has been a constant reference, providing valuable insights and strategies for achieving efficiency and success in business. Amman Ahmed mentioned that he has recently not been listening to many podcasts for professional development. However, he did recommend a podcast called "Business Wars" for learning about business through an entertaining and storytelling approach. As for learning tools, he didn't specify any particular tools. Amman Ahmed didn't explicitly mention specific tools for small business growth. But he acknowledges Slack as an obvious choice, he highlights that selecting tools crucial for business growth should be tailored to the specific needs and dynamics of the business itself. Reflecting on the initial days of the business journey, Amman would advise their past self to maintain patience and proceed at a comfortable pace. The key lesson is to focus on personal progress rather than succumbing to external pressures, emphasizing the importance of a sustainable and personally fulfilling entrepreneurial journey. Book a 20-minute Growth Chat with Troy Trewin to see if you qualify for our upcoming course. Don't miss out on this opportunity to take your small business to new heights! Enjoyed the podcast? Beethoven has been quoted as saying, “Music is like a dream. One that I cannot hear.” He was right, of course, but there's more to it than that. Music can also be a dream. So many musicians, famous or not, have created songs or symphonies inspired by their dreams. Sometimes they heard the notes in their dreams, sometimes the words, sometimes both. My guest on this episode, Craig Sim Webb wrote the book about this: The Dreams Behind the Music: Learn Creative Dreaming as 100+ Top Artists Reveal their Breakthrough Inspirations. Craig is a musician and dreamer himself and he reveals here:· What Beatles songs came from dreams· The famous riff that Keith Richards dreamed and how it almost didn't make it on record· The music he created from his dreams· How you can hear music in your dreams· How to record your dreams· Do two people ever simultaneously dream the same dream· What you can create through lucid dreaming Music adds so much to our lives. Whether you want to create music from your dreams or just hear the stories of the musicians who've done it, don't miss this tuneful episode of Dream Power Radio. Craig Sim Webb is a dream and consciousness author/researcher, a physicist and inventor, and a professional educator and performing artist. His life path was set in motion 3 decades ago when he nearly drowned on a white-water rafting trip and suddenly began recalling many dreams a day, and having lucid dreams and verifiable visions of the future. Since then, he's graduated from McGill University, participated in pioneering lucid dreaming research at Stanford University and at Montreal's Sacre-Coeur Hospital. He has also designed electronic mind development, biofeedback, and educational tools with worldwide distribution, and helped found and produce Making Contact (an international radio show airing on 150-250 stations for over 25 years). His book The Dreams Behind the Music: Learn Creative Dreaming as 100+ top Artists Reveal their Breakthrough Inspirations details high profile artists from the Beatles to Beyoncé who acted on (nighttime) dreams for significant real-life success. Intro Carissa Getscher is CEO and Founder of Sunflower Music lessons where she provides a plethora of music education resources like music history, appreciation, lesson helps, and actual music lessons. At Sunflower Music lessons the belief is that any parent can teach music education. Carissa's lesson plans are supplements to curriculum parents are already using, how you ask? Maybe you are studying the Civil War or the Industrial Revolution in Europe. You can put a soundtrack to the history you are learning and BAM now it's music history. Check out their Harriet Tubman resources, or the composers of Europe as supplemental resources. You can also use Sunflower Music, music appreciation worksheets to analyze music from any era, download a simplified piece of sheet music so your young musician can play a page of Beethoven. and so many more resources for your naturally curious child! Top Three Takeaways The myth as to "Why most people homeschool?" It used to be common for people to think it was for religious reasons and now people might think homeschooling is a political choice. But most parents who pull their kids now have reasons like bullying or accommodations There is definitely a status division between those who can put their kids in lessons and those who can't...but I believe in this information age, parents can teach anything a kid wants to learn. Homeschooling is so important to her that as a single working mom she's dedicated to finding a way to provide for my three sons without having to put them in public school. She loves watching her boys as they grow into the best versions of themselves and how they know their value. Homeschooling allows her the opportunity to be there daily speaking love into them as they bloom into men. Carissa knows that a good home is the key to that dream- so she will work and sacrifice to make sure that it goes from dream to reality, Carissa has a powerful story of loss in one area and gain in another and then the birth of sunflower music Call to Action Mention the Homeschool podcast when you call to get 50% OFF Sunflower Music Lessons Website Page Sunflower Music Lessons Instagram Page Sunflower Music Lessons Facebook Page Sunflower Music Lessons Pinterest Page What is Next! Hola Mi gente! I had the amazing pleasure to have a little chisme with the one and only Vinny Rivera, who is a singer and songwriter in the urban music world. He mostly sings Bachata and Kizomba songs, which are danced all over the world. In this episode, he shares his artistic journey and how pursuing his passion for music, not only fulfills him but unites communities all over the world. WHO IS VINNY? Born in Boston, Massachusetts to Puerto Rican parents mentored by his Dominican stepfather, Victor Rivera also known as “Vinny Rivera” is one of the hardest working singer/songwriters. Being raised in the city's melting pot, he was exposed to a variety of musical genres such as Reggae, Jazz, Soca, R&B, Kizomba and Pop, as well as the sounds of his native and neighboring island of Dominican Republic absorbing the sounds of Salsa, Merengue, and Bachata. As a DJ at 16, he began listening intensively and studied all types of music and later connected with friends and began recording and releasing songs, eventually opening shows with a self titled group called “Vinny Dinky & Crazy Joe” aka “Miwe Productions” for world renowned acts, such as Nicky Jam, Wisin & Yandel, Zion & Lennox, Ivy Queen, to name a few. Vinny later joined the United States Air Force and his experience in Afghanistan had taught him many lessons about life and the value of time. After serving four years active duty, he focused on his music career working closely and learning from his friends and mentors such as DereVinci, Grammy winning Producer Richy Peña, Jowell y Randy, Ivy Queen, De La Ghetto, and long time friend Jorgie Milliano. He eventually found his place as a pioneer of Latin Kizomba but focused his energy on a new sound that is “Bachata Sensual”, catering to a passionate audience of dancers and music listeners alike. His growing base of fans from all parts of the world have allowed him to tour in the United States, Mexico, Europe, and Russia, and the list of places continues to grow. Vinny Rivera's singing and writing abilities have captured the respect and attention of audiences around the world and his passion for music only grows as he continues to give his best to his fans. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/chismethatmatterspodcast/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/chismethatmatterspodcast/support

When you find a piece of music that resonates with you, it almost seems like you feel lost, almost zoning out as the melodies and beats put together to immerse you in an experience like no other. Johannes Linstead uses his intuition to create music to not only go through an amazing experience himself, but he has millions of others feel the same as they immerse themselves in the music he creates. This has resulted in him winning one award after another as he continues to entertain people around the world, thanks to his intuition. The Black Lives Matter movement, like the Civil Rights movement and social justice movements before it, has inspired new music that expresses the political and emotional moment. This is such a great joy and pleasure for me to share today's topic on Music and Healing with you, I hope you enjoy it! I also added some of my music throughout the whole podcast and would love to know how you feel about it! Many thanks ahead of time! Let me know by email here: ben@benkoen.com Building from a recent show at HKBU on Music, Health, & Healing, this episode asks you to consider yourself as a creative being and to shift into the understanding that you can actively participate in your own healing process, health and wellbeing, and even create vitality. I share how and why music and sound can powerfully assist you in this process and help you to move from your intuitive sense and experience of music's power in your life, to intentionally deploying music in your own healing and wellbeing. I've helped countless people use the power of music and sound in hand with their mind and meditation to transform the five factors of their being: Body, Mind, Spirit, Emotions, and Relationships; and further achieve their goals in vision to build sustainable and fulfilling businesses for their livelihood in harmony with their personal truth, gifts, and talents. I hope this serves you well, and I'm always happy to share more specifically related to you! "Any time I make a song that sounds sad or sounds not positive, it's hard to make it. It brings me down. Music is something that makes me happy so I like to make music that has an uplifting side to it. If I'm writing about something that was a bad experience, I can write about getting out of that bad experience..." I sit down with Jacksonville, FL artist Yuno @yvno about the way he's been able to craft his own unique sound that blends different influences from emo and indie to rap and classic R&B to create music that encourages, inspires and uplifts, even if the subject matter of the song is about heartbreak or negative emotions. I came across Yuno's music in 2011-2012, especially "Sunlight" which is one of my forever favorites. Yuno was a "bedroom" musician before the name was used more in the mainstream. He creates music at home alone, songwriting, playing all his own instruments, and self-producing and engineering too. He also creates his own artwork and takes photos too. In addition to diving into some of the songs he created from his last project Moodie, we talk about the importance of taking a hiatus, how cooking vegan food inspires his creativity, and his favorite smoothie recipes.

Cliff Lin a composer who has been featured on numerous films, trailers, commercials, games, and records and had worked on popular projects such as The Expendables 3, Call of Duty, Tomb Raider, Prometheus, Sucker Punch, Green Lantern, Conan: The Barbarian, Transformers, The Golden Compass, Hell Boy, and Abduction. A dropout of Berklee, Cliff wanted to create his own methods for learning and collaborating through music. Moving back into his parent's house, he stayed true to any opportunity that presented itself through constant production and persistence of sending his work to companies all over the country. Eventually, he discovered an opportunity for an internship in NYC and booked the flight immediately. One thing triggered another… and Cliff started his world domination. Check out his trailer production music AND his side project band City Girl. They are both incredible.
