In the serene meadows and lush woodlands of leisurely sports, there exists a game that dances on the fringes of frisbee fanaticism and golfing finesse. It's a sport where the fairways are more forest than fair, and the scorecard is a trusty old disc, not a bag of clubs. Welcome to the world of disc golf, where flying saucers meet precision putting, and the only hazards you'll find are trees, streams, and the occasional overzealous squirrel. In this captivating blend of strategy, skill, and sheer disc-ipline, players embark on a journey that transcends the boundaries of traditional sports, propelling discs with finesse, and, sometimes, just a hint of pure magic. Atlanta Journal-Constitution Distribution Manager Steve Bogdon is not just a passionate devotee of the unique and thrilling hobby that is disc golf; he's also a master of optimizing newspaper delivery routes. While he finds exhilaration in navigating the twisting fairways of disc golf courses, carefully calculating each throw and striving for that elusive hole-in-one, he also channels his expertise into planning and fine-tuning the most efficient paths for newspaper distribution operations using RouteSmart Online. In a world where the precision of paper routes and the free-spirited flight of flying discs coexist, Bogdon has truly found a delightful balance.Join Client Success Manager Lindsay Ringgold and Host Matthew Kemeny for this thrilling episode of Right on Time with RouteSmart.

Born out of Director Sharon Lewis's own muted struggle with not fitting into neat racial/Queer/Christian boxes, With Wonder takes an intimate look at the journey of members of the Queer, Christian community of colour and their attempts to answer the question: Can you be both Christian and Queer? This feature length documentary, features the diverse stories of several members of the LGBTQI+ community, including high profile queer activists and Queer clerics, in places like Jamaica, New York, London, and Los Angeles. They each have their own unique ways of amplifying their voices and finding their way back to spiritual health, despite the shaming tactics of some Christian institutions. With Wonder is a love letter to God from the LGBTQI+ community of colour. Heartfelt and honest, With Wonder delves into what for some might be uncomfortable conversations. In this episode, I sit down with Courtney Panchan, Distribution Manager of Black Market Releasing (the film company releasing With Wonder) to talk about how the QPOC people in the film came to terms and come out the other side, living their truth with the power of who they are and still serving God and how they can champion youth across Canada & the US who are looking to be accepted for their truth.

THE RISE AND FALL OF A GOOD IDEA!If I did not mention the fact before, the sole reason Ruth and I were appointed as the very first Uniroyal tyre stocking point in the UK was that Uniroyal wanted Harry Thorne's business. Firestone were now totally out of the way and the door was open for a manufacturer of premium tyres to take their place in supplying Fossitt and Thorne with their retail outlets covering the length and breadth of Lincolnshire and into Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.Fortunately for us, Harry Thorne was asked how he thought the tyres could best be supplied to his depots. He actually said, “If you want my business, then Keith Sanders will handle the distribution.”We had no idea that anything like this was “in the wings” and the first thing we knew was when the Uniroyal national Distribution Manager made an appointment to come and see us.Our small operation collecting complaint tyres already covered the whole of eastern UK on a regular basis. Tears in the Rain (parental alienation) with F. Leonard Myers A narcissistic storm has raged inside Peter Webster for ten years following his bitter divorce. Driven by revenge he has waged a subtle but incessant war to win the allegiance of his daughter, Julia, and turn her into a weapon designed to destroy his ex-wife, Sharon. He appears to have won when, at age 14, Julia abandons her mother's home and soon thereafter completely terminates her relationship through a series of denigrating, judgmental emails and slamming the door on the possibility of any future communication with her mother.  “Tears In The Rain” is a story of the tragic impact of the silent and little understood epidemic of narcissistic revenge and parental alienation. It is a story experienced by thousands of innocent children and targeted parents caught at the destructive intersection of pathological narcissism and toxic divorce.  Len Myers received an M.B.A. from Boston College, an M. S. in Public Administration from Northeastern University and has his B.A. from Colorado State University.  Len worked in outdoor experiential education in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and taught several courses for the Educational Psychology Dept. at Boston College. Later he worked in the  hi-tech industry as a General Manager with Marshall Industries, Distribution Manager at Dallas Semiconductor and Global Distribution Manager at Synqor before retiring due to multiple sclerosis. Len co-authored a book on experiential education with Dr. John Dacey at Boston College and is the author of Tears in the Rain, his first novel. Natural Pastures Cheese Company The story of Natural Pastures is an inspiring one, as it's a story of how one farming family was able to preserve the heritage, social and environmental values of their dairy farm by diversifying and becoming a commercial cheesemaker. Natural Pastures sources their milk from a number of traditional farms on Vancouver Island, including one farm that raises water buffalo. While most of Natural Pastures cheeses are made with cow's milk, Natural Pastures is the only cheesemaker in Canada producing a variety of cheese that uses the milk of water buffalo. Host Jon Steinman visited the facility in October 2008. Agritourism While many farmers see the role of agritourism as a further insult to the dismal state of farming today, some farmers have recognized it as the only way to stay in business. DKT Ranch on Vancouver Island is one of those farms that has successfully remained in the business of farming by diversifying their operation to offer more than just food. Host Jon Steinman visited with DKT's Dan and Maggie Thran. Red-Fleshed Apples First introduced into North America in 1840, according to Salt Spring Island's Harry Burton, red-fleshed apples are the "apple of the future". Apple Luscious Organic Orchard on Salt Spring Island grows 23 varieties of red-fleshed apples and in September 2008, correspondent Andrea Langlois visited with Burton at the Salt Spring Island Apple Festival. Voices/Guests Edgar J. Smith, President, Natural Pastures Cheese Company (Courtenay, BC) - Dating back over 90 years, the Smith family's Beaver Meadow Farms eventually morphed into Natural Pastures Cheese Company. Today, the businesses uses only fresh milk produced on a number of select Vancouver Island farms, which practice sustainable farming and animal stewardship. The farms are classified as Heritage Dairy Farms. Paul Sutter, Master Cheesemaker, Natural Pastures Cheese Company (Courtenay, BC) - Born in 1972 in Sonenntal Switzerland where he spent much of his time on his grandfather's dairy farm. In 1991 he earned his certification as a Master Cheesemaker and in 1995 responded to a job posting in a Swiss newspaper and moved to Canada to become a cheesemaker. Paul joined Natural Pastures in 2002. Dan Thran, Farmer, DKT Ranch, (Courtenay, BC) - Owned and operated by Dan and Maggie Thran, DKT is an 80 acre farm which was purchased by Dan's parents in 1927. His parents turned it into a dairy farm in the early 1940s and the farm was passed on to Dan in the early 1970s. Since then, the farm has primarily become a beef operation along with raising pasture-raised poultry, lamb and eggs. Harry Burton, Farmer, Apple Luscious Organic Orchard, (Salt Spring Island, BC) - This young orchard on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia is situated on 5 acres of land. Located on a slightly south facing slope, the orchard was created from scratch on land logged in 1980, with the first apple trees planted in 1986. It consists of about 300 trees of mostly apples, but also plums, pears, cherries and Asian pears. Harry helps organize the Salt Spring Apple Festival. Other Voices Stan Hagen, Minister of Agriculture and Lands, Province of British Columbia, (Courtenay, BC) Leslie Shann, Operations and Distribution Manager, Natural Pastures Cheese Company (Courtenay, BC)
