Dearest Fellow Seekers The theme for this weeks Prayer Journey is Devine Love. The flow of love that the Devine has for YOU in every moment is unearned, constant, unending and ceaseless ……… what's missing is your awareness of it, attention to it and openness to receive it. So on this Prayer Journey I invite you to take the time just to BE in this love which you have nothing to do to gain, nothing to do to make yourself worthy of…….. Nothing to do other than be open and allow. On the journey today, I lead you into a period of silent prayer, by giving voice to a wonderful poem prayer by Edwina Gately called Let your God Love You. The journey will then move forward with some reflective prompts guiding you to the end of the Path. Have a Peaceful Journey. Hello my name is John and you are most welcome to this weeks episode of The Prayer Path. For this weeks prayer I am using a meditation prepared by Diane Rutter of Contemplative Fire (https://contemplativefire.org/). It draws upon the wisdom phrase of Christian Mystic Meister Eckhart where he refers to the Divine, whom Eckhart names as God, as the Ground of Our Being. As you prepare to set out on your Prayer Path journey today I am inviting you to settle yourself in a posture that will enable you to feel, preferably your bare feet, firmly planted on the ground. This of course is your choice, being comfortable and at ease is much more a priority. When you have concluded your Prayer Path journey I would really appreciate it if you could take a moment to maybe use the voice message function and leave any comments or reflections about your experience on The Prayer Path. If you like The Prayer Path please do hit the like button, share it with others who you think might like it and subscribe to receive all future Prayers. The Prayer Path is now available on multiple platforms including iTunes, Spotify and Google Podcasts and you will also find The Prayer Path on FB(@PrayerPath1), Instagram (@PrayerPath1) and Twitter (The Prayer Path #ThePrayerPath) Thank you for visiting The Prayer Pat. May the peace and love of The Divine be always with you and your loved ones and the whole of creation. Till you join me next time on The Prayer Path. Good Bye. The extent of the opioid crisis in Central Appalachia is not a secret. It has been covered extensively by national media in terms of statistics and the degree to which pharmaceutical companies are to blame. However, the solutions to the problem springing up within the communities themselves, and the current ramifications of having lost a generation of community members to addiction have long been overlooked. Communities throughout the coalfields are grappling with statistically significant problems when it comes to meeting the needs of preschool and school aged youth being born to addicted parents. This episode of Mountain News & World Report takes an in depth look at the reality and the solutions being tried. Image courtesy of patrisyu at FreeDigitalPhotos.net

And have not purchased a box of cereal in over 10 years - yes we had kids living at home. They have happily made the switch. Listen in and we'll share our favorite, healthy, delicious and quick breakfast hacks. Photo credits: dusky, Ambro, Cochrane, and rakratchada at Freedigitalphotos.net
Some people are born with broken hearts that seem to function adequately for years before they start to decline and become unable to sufficiently support life. With the invention of pacemakers, ventricular assist devices, and defibrillators, it seems that even broken hearts can function for quite a while with the miracles of modern medicine. But sometimes, even these magical devices or the amazing drugs that can slow hearts down or speed hearts up are not enough. When this happens, people must be listed for a heart transplant. What happens when you're listed for a heart transplant? What miracles are involved with receiving a donor heart? Today's show will focus on two gentlemen -- one who has received a heart and another who is on the heart transplant list. Tune in to hear what miracles they have witnessed or experienced and what advice they have for others. ***Image courtesy of kittijaroon at FreeDigitalPhotos.netSupport the show (https://www.patreon.com/HearttoHeart)

Summer is the perfect time to play and stimulate new brain cells. You can learn a new skill, get involved in a hobby, do art projects that take a few days, and explore the world around you. Tune in for some tips and ideas that will not only entertain your kids, but give them options to build their brain and distract them from too much electronic time. Studies show that the more time children spend in structured, parent-guided activities, the worse their ability to work productively towards self-directed goals. They need time to challenge themselves and figure out what they want and how to do it. We were always slow to completely direct our children's activites. We saw more growth with them having more control over their free time. Photo Credit by: photostock, David Castillo Dominici, C, debspoons, and crissroll at FreeDigitalPhotos.net

This book was a catlyst that got me into the healing arts because it helped me heal my life and see my truth. Karol Truman provides a comprehensive and enlightening resource for getting in touch with unresolved feelings which, she explains, can distort not only happiness but also health and well-being. I have had the privelege of being in workshops with her and she is a real, down to earth human being. Join me for an overview of this book and discover why Feelings Buired Alive Never Die. Take a humorous journey with us as we explore the history behind April Fool's day and some of the world's funniest hoaxes. April's Fools day is also known as All Fool's Day and the victims of hoaxes are are called April Fools. There ar roots of All Fool's Day going back to the middle ages. Growing up Kally's grandmother and mother were notorious for their practical jokes. Some of the first references to April Fool's Day can be found in the works of Chaucer from the 1300's. We think a day of jokes and laughter is an awesome reminder that we all need humor in our lives. Laughter is a wonderful healing tool and play time is essential to our well being. The most common usage of spring cleaning refers to the yearly act of cleaning a house from top to bottom in the first warm days of the year typically in spring. However it has also come to be synonymous with any kind of heavy duty cleaning or organizing enterprise. Join us as we take spring cleaning to a new level, by cleaning out our subconscious trash, emotional baggage, and of course, picking up a few things around the house. It is amazing to me how refreshing it is to get rid of some clutter and move on. That clutter can be emotional baggage that is weighing you down. Or hanging onto regret or bad feelings towards others. You can even carry around clutter of bad habits. Not to mention the clutter of piles that stack up around your house in normal living. Our guest, creator Matthew Wayne Selznick, walks us through the process of building a truly habitable planet, as detailed in his book World-Building for Writers, Gamers and Other Creators, Volume One: Star, Planet, Moon. We develop the world, and from there we brainstorm up a sentient species with a primitive culture.
