It's been another long wait with the international break but Gameweek 8 is on the horizon, and despite being out of form Liverpool are a hot topic of discussion with some kind fixtures coming up.
On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Nottingham Forest fan Mark Sutherns and Chelsea fan Gary Mantle to discuss the latest at their clubs ahead of Saturday's lunchtime meeting between the two clubs at The City Ground. Ange Postecoglu is still Forest manager despite speculation he may be removed having won none of his seven games in charge and with many Forest fans not taking to the former Tottenham manager. Does Ange deserve more time? Or is the writing already on the wall? Chelsea's Enzo Maresca was also facing scrutiny but the late GW7 victory against Liverpool has lifted the move. With brilliant fixtures ahead can The Blues get themselves into contention for the title? Plus, all they key FPL discussion on Chelsea features defensive assets, Enzo Fernandez and Joao Pedro, whilst Forest assets have got to be cut it feels, but maybe with one exception. Two of the surprising packages from the last two Premier League seasons have been Bournemouth and Crystal Palace, with their forward thinking managers guiding them to new points records, silverware, and European football. It comes as a surprise to many, apart from fans of the two clubs themselves, who have witnessed some exhilarating football and memorable moments. With "giants" of the top tier continuing to struggle, whilst their demise might be self-inflicted, the success of the relative "minnows" in the division also has its impact, who are being guided by astute and strategic managers like Oliver Glasner and Andoni Iraola. Plus, ahead of Bournemouth's visit to Crystal Palace this weekend, all eyes are on Antoine Semenyo... The Ghanian superstar's name is on everybody's lips, but with a recently renegotiated contract and an increased release clause secured by the Cherries, all the cards lie not with with Man Utd, Liverpool, or Tottenham Hotspur, but with AFC Bournemouth themselves. Tom and Sam are at the Queens Park Hotel and Q Sports Bar to discuss what could be next for our free-scoring wing wizard, plus we catch up on the week's news at Dean Court as we build up to a huge showdown in South London, where a win for Boscombe *could* put us TOP! The QP is the home of AFC Bournemouth fans on a Cherries match day and now shows LIVE TNT Sport. Visit at 482 Holdenhurst Rd, Bournemouth, BH8 9AR.
Big Ange has only been in his position for a few weeks at this point, but should he be worried that his job is in jeopardy?
