Getting the support you need expands you in so many ways. As a mom your energy is the dominant energy in your home. If you are constantly overwhelmed, frazzled, and running around like a chicken with your head cut off, what do you think those around you will pick up on? Our kids pick up on the energy we bring into the home and not to sound cliche, but have you heard the song, “If mama ain't happy?” There is truth to it! And here's the thing, you GET to receive the support you desire to have and there is nothing wrong with the desire because here's what support gives you…. More time to do something you desire.    More space for yourself so that you show up as a more present + patient mom. More time to do the things that will move the needle in your business. And the list goes on and on and on. So, when you think about hiring a housekeeper or someone to do your laundry, what comes up for you? Maybe it's the usual, “But I ‘should' be doing this” or maybe even the good ‘ol I'm home all day ego voice talking in your head? The desire was placed in your heart for a reason and when you make the choice to get support in an area of your life or business that you don't enjoy, then it opens up more space for you to expand and do more of what you love as a mom AND CEO. This all leads to creating a life that feels good and you enjoy more. And when you enjoy life more as a mom… your family will too! It's not our job to ‘should' all over ourselves continuing dated patterns and behaviors that we grew up with. It's up to us to see things differently, recreate our reality into something we desire more, and make it happen so that we truly create a life we love with kids in tow.   You can find me here:  Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/amandaclarkcoaching Website: https://www.amandaclark.biz/  Snag a freebie: https://www.amandaclark.biz/daily-breather

“Let's learn that we don't have to push ourselves so hard. Let's learn that we can still test things, we can still fine-tune offers, we can still go out in the world, but know that we have boundaries. And we don't have to be such high achievers, that we have to commit to a launch every single month or a certain timeline. Because it can burn us out so bad.”   How do you find the sweet spot between professional growth and personal well-being? That's what our host Stephanie Clairmont chats about today in the return of the Leveraged Practice Podcast (after an unplanned two-month hiatus). She's taking you behind the scenes to unfold the reality of burnout and the art of returning with a fresh perspective on consistency in content creation. It's not just about keeping a schedule – it's about redefining what productivity means when life decides to throw you curveballs like a global pandemic or the need to press pause for mental health.   Reflecting back on the rollercoaster year of 2023, Stephanie shares how ambition led to a rigorous schedule of monthly launches, with the aim to hit incredible financial milestones. But what happens when the drive for success results in a crash? She recounts the experience that brought her to a standstill and the consequential time off that became a turning point. For fellow health professionals aiming to expand their practice online, Stephanie underscores the structured support that the Leveraged Practice Workshop offers, guiding your journey to an impactful and balanced online presence. This week I had the pleasure and honor of doing a deep dive into building healthy relationships and aligned community with Jeanne Grey of @thegreylayers.She's a longtime friend I recently reconnected with post covid, and this topic is one that's been on our hearts and minds as we've both been feeling so, so grateful to finally be building a community that truly feels like home.We cover it all in this episode, from what the right relationships feel like, the importance and roles of aligned community, how to actually create it, and even how to handle when you're going through the shedding period of letting go the people not aligned to create the space for those who are. It's incredibly vulnerable, honest, and while so nurturing, still incredibly informative and empowering.  We hope that it's not only helpful on a practical level, but that sharing the beautiful soul-enriching relationships we've called in fills you with hope and helps you believe that you deserve and create the same.  We're not meant to live as islands; we're built for relationship.  And building a flourishing relationship with yourself should in part be so you can build the same with others.  Because a soul-aligned community is an essential ingredient to creating a Magical Human Experience. Some Points We Chat:-What We Now Look for in Relationships and How That's Evolved-Shifting to Only be Available for Reciprocal Relationships-Adjusting to Being Available for What You Want-How to Know When Intuition is Speaking-Isolation is a Symptom of Traumatic Experiences-Why We Need Community and the Role it Should Play-How to Magnetize Likeminded Community-Responding to People as Our Healed Higher Self-How Our Relationship with Ourself Impacts the Relationships We're Manifesting-The Importance of Embodiment through Actions-How to Be in Your “Let Them” Era in a Healthy Way-How to Know When to Work Through Things vs. Let People Go-How to Handle Outgrowing Relationships-Main Ways to Support Yourself through Loss-Why You Should Not Run From Things, but To Things-The Foundational Through-Line/Goal of Healing-How the ‘Right People' Should Make You Feel-Supporting Yourself vs. Getting Support from Others-Why You Need Multiple and Different Friends-Boundaries - Why Do We Need Them?-The Difference Between Getting Support and Gossip, and How to Choose the Higher PathWhere to Find Jeanne:InstagramThings Mentioned:-RéVive Fermatif Chin Contour-RéVive Masque de Brilliance-Post on Navigating Seasons of Shedding-Reel Showing Jeanne's Gorgeous Dinner------------Like this episode? If you're a small business owner, you are probably experiencing some degree of overwhelm in your business or personal life. Probably both. Because when you're a small business owner, business and personal overlap and intertwine. A lot.  Overwhelm can become a major obstacle to success. It can affect your business growth and your personal growth. Personal overwhelm affects your business and business overwhelm affects your personal life. How many times have you been impatient or snippy or overreacted to something because of stress in another part of your life?  So many business owners operate in a constant state of overwhelm. But it doesn't have to be that way. In this episode, I'm walking you through five things you can do to help reduce your overwhelm so you can thrive instead of just surviving.  1. Time Management - There will never be enough hours in the day to get everything done. How we manage our time is crucial to reducing overwhelm. Get more done by:  Identifying high-priority tasks. Time blocking those tasks. Removing distractions. Using a timer to stay focused.  2. Hiring, Outsourcing, Delegating - you can't keep doing business alone. This means knowing when it's time to:  Hire Outsource Delegate 3. Setting Realistic Goals and Timelines - entrepreneurs are guilty of always thinking we can get more done in a set amount of time than we actually can.  Be honest with yourself.  Plan only ONE big rock per quarter. (detailed in my Strategic Yearly Planning Workshop - linked below) 4. Getting Support - feeling supported makes a huge difference to the amount of overwhelm you feel.  How can your team support you?  How can your spouse support you?  How can your children support you?  How can your friends and family support you?  Seek out other support - housekeeper, grocery deliveries, etc.  5. Self-care - you need to take time for yourself. Don't feel guilty about it.  Plan self-care time - put it on your calendar.  Make time to spend with friends and family.  Start with one of these items and build it into your routine. Then layer in another. And another. Stop operating in fight or flight mode. Your health and the health of your business depend on it!  Join me for this episode and learn five things you can do to tackle overwhelm in your subscription box business. Many people ask - what do I work on now? Well, the answer is simple...but not easy. The short answer is: Whatever is up for you! Or as I often put it, "What's in your face right now that you can't ignore?" It is typically true that for all of us, there are times of challenge and growth. The work for you will be - HOW WILL YOU DEAL WITH THIS? I want you to be encouraged, that whatever life sends you means, YOU ARE READY TO HEAL! This episode will give you steps and ideas of how to do this very thing and create some spaciousness around the "reaction of the personality" and move you into the reflection of the soul.LinksWe want to hear from you!https://experienceofthesoul.com/contactSubscribe to Cynthia Alice on YouTube!https://www.youtube.com/cynthiaaliceanderson More from Cynthia Alice Andersonhttps://www.cynthiaaliceanderson.com•This channel is made possible because of listeners just like you.
