Godspeed demands "organic speed" in exchange for ending the war. The Speed Force reawakens Bart and grants Iris super-speed, and they fight the Godspeed drones alongside Team Flash. However, the Speed Force is forced to retreat when the drones begin to feed off of her energy, but Allegra arrives with Chester's device and removes the drones' speed. Barry decides to grant Heart's request, restoring his memories. Against Cecile's urging, Heart re-emerges with the drones. Suddenly, Eobard Thawne arrives and incapacitates Heart and makes a failed attempt on the Flash's life before escaping. Heart is sent to Iron Heights with his memory of Barry's identity removed. Meanwhile, after using super-speed to rescue Joe from an attack, Kramer learns that she is a metahuman with the ability to mimic others' abilities like she did with Creyke and leaves with a new perspective on law enforcement. Barry and Iris renew their wedding vows in front of their friends and family.Advertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
Iris, Alexa, and Bashir fake their deaths and escape using an illusion. Bashir convinces Alexa to go back and fight "Nora," who conjures a storm that knocks out Cecile with lightning and sets prisoners at Iron Heights free. Frost escapes prison to defeat an escaped Chillblaine, Barry fails to recruit Deon, and Allegra consoles Joe. Barry confronts "Nora," but she reveals that the other forces conjured the storm. Deon turns on "Nora," but is forced to retreat. Joe proves to Barry and Iris that they're not bad parents, and they reconcile with Alexa, Bashir, and Deon. They overpower "Nora" while the storm nears critical mass and threatens to "snap back" and destroy everything. Bashir and Deon show "Nora" a future completely empty of others, overwhelming her and convincing her to stop. With time running out, the forces aid Barry so that he is fast enough to stop the storm. The forces reconcile and depart to expand the Speed Force. Cecile awakens. While at CC Jitters with Allegra and Chester, Cisco and Kamilla are forced to make their decision to leave. Frost returns to Caitlin's apartment on probation for her efforts during the storm, admitting her crush on Chillblaine, while Barry and Iris try to process everything and decide to start a family.
Barry's pseudo-children are forced to take "Family Matters" into their own hands as Nora continues to threaten everyone. A giant lightning storm descends on Central City, causing all kinds of problems. Nora orders Barry to bring her Sage, Still, and Strength, but instead Barry tries to hide them in an empty version of the Speed Force where she can't sense them. The lightning storm takes out Cecile, which worries Joe. It also takes out Iron Heights, which lets loose a bunch of dangerous Metas, and Frost too. Team Flash is running out of time. Luckily, the three siblings work together to try and stop their angry sister. What will the future hold for all our heroes as this chapter of their lives comes to a close? This is the reason Jay and Josh always dread family reunions, on this week's episode of Scarlet Velocity: A Flash Podcast!
Team Flash reads Nora's diary and learns that she discovered her powers and her relation to the Flash after subsequent encounters with two speedsters: Godspeed and Thawne. Flashforwards show Nora working as a forensic scientist like her father. After being hit by Godspeed, Nora discovers she had a chip implanted into her that dampened her powers, which causes a rift between her and her mother. After Godspeed's citywide rampage kills Nora's best friend and co-worker Lia, Thawne helps Nora control her newfound powers and defeat the rampaging speedster. Thawne then becomes her mentor as he did with Barry. With Thawne's help, Nora finds the Time Vault, where she learns that her father was the Flash. In the present, Iris releases Nora from the pipeline out of guilt, after learning of her future self's deception of their daughter, but Barry sends her home out of distrust and without Iris's consent. Barry then visits Thawne at Iron Heights, glad that he is awaiting execution for his crimes.
The Flash deals with the Negative Speed Force and then has to solve a murder inside Iron Heights in Flash, Volume 6: Cold Day in Hell. Barry Allen and his daughter Nora travel back in time in order to "gather some key necessities" to stop Cicada. Their first stop takes them to Barry's final battle against Savitar, but they are pursued by a Time Wraith. Barry tells Nora to get a piece of Savitar's armour when it is destroyed, while he distracts the Time Wraith. Nora sees the armour get destroyed and retrieves a piece of it, but also sees Iris shoot Savitar Barry. They travel next to when Zoom steals Barry's speed to retrieve the necessary technology to process it. Harry Wells almost destroys the tech in frustration, but Barry manages to distract him, suggesting that they can find his daughter by tracking her frequency. Zoom discovers Barry and Nora, and gives chase before he is stopped by the Time Wraith, however the tech is damaged. Barry and Nora end up on the day that Barry previously travelled to, and ask HGEobard to help fix the tech, reminding him that if he doesn't, events won't go correctly and he will never get home. HGEobard fixes the tech and Barry and Nora make their final jump to the night of the Particle Accelerator explosion, avoiding security and lab workers to access the Time Vault. Barry asks Gideon to reroute part of the Dark Matter through the shard and technology. When Nora asks why Barry hates Eobard Thawne, Barry reveals that Eobard killed his mother when he was 11. They are able to gain the power they needed and travel to the hospital, hiding the tech in the brickwork, before returning to the present. Nora decides to return to 2049, where she goes to Iron Heights to confront Eobard Thawne.

Shrunk? I'm not shrunk, you're shrunk! This week on the Flash, Barry spends some quality time with his fellow inmates at Iron Heights as he tries once again to become a beacon of hope. Knowing that this may be the only thing that they can do to help, Team Flash takes up an investigation that places them squarely in the crosshairs of Central City's latest bus-meta, DwarfStar. Meanwhile, Joe and Cecile have a few small concerns of their own. Meta-pregnancy, it's a thing. And now Cecile can read minds! Run Joe! Run! Elongated, Man! Undergrounders, hopefully you enjoyed this Dibtastic episode of the Flash! After Barry's debacle of a trial, he finds himself locked away in Iron Heights. Here he quickly learns that giving up heroism is easier said than done. With the Flash masterfully removed from the playing field, our favorite elongated hero rises to the occasion. Read more... As dawn break over Central City, "The Elongated Knight Rises" to take his place as the city's hero. Barry begins his lifelong stay at Iron Heights with virtually no prospect of leaving. Ralph may not be the hero Central City wants, but he's stepping up his game to be the hero the city needs. That is, until Trickster Jr breaks out of jail with the help of his mom, and former maniacal sidekick, Prank. The tricky lunatic discovers a way to hurt Ralph with a special mixture of acid. This puts a serious damper on Ralph's confidence, who until now thought he was indestructible. Back in jail, Barry is getting seriously intimidated by some very mean, very large thugs. But another large guy, or should I say 'Big Sir' has Barry's back because Henry Allen saved his life in prison. And now Barry can return the favor. Barry gives Ralph a little help too. So Mr. Stretchy runs off to stop Trickster and Prank, save his friends, don his new costume, and finally get his hero name. Jay and Josh look everywhere for their Beebo doll on this week's episode of Scarlet Velocity: A Flash Podcast!
All rise for "The Trial of the Flash". Barry faces a judge and a jury of his peers for the murder of Clifford DeVoe. Lucky for Barry, he's got himself some good representation as Cecile takes the case. Joe loves his beautiful girlfriend but he's not taking any chances. He asks Ralph for his expert detective skills to find something that could help end this case on a good note. He'll need to find something really good though, because prosecuting attorney Anton Slater has plenty of incriminating evidence. Meanwhile the rest of the team tries to figure out how to find and stop Fallout, a metahuman that could blow up the whole city. It looks like a rough week for Team Flash. The only thing that might save everyone is if Barry reveals his true identity to everyone. And since we all know he's not going to do that, we better brace ourselves for a little alone time in Iron Heights. Jay and Josh call for order in the court on this week's episode of Scarlet Velocity: A Flash Podcast!
Geoff Johns has been one of the important modern writers for DC, so it’s about time we talked about him. Before becoming one of the main architects of their universe, he made a name for himself by writing The Flash in the early 2000’s. He capped off his first year of that run with a one-shot called Iron Heights, drawn by Ethan Van Sciver, set in the prison where The Flash’s rogues’ gallery is kept. We heard it was great, but did we hear correctly? Join us to find out! Next Time: Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire!

Cisco presents Barry with a technologically advanced suit, intended to facilitate his activities. He tests it out, trying to save someone from a haywire car, caused by metahuman Ramsey Deacon. Gypsy arrives on Earth 1 for a date with Cisco, who is forced to cancel it so as to focus on Deacon. Acting on a suggestion from Caitlin, Iris signs her and Barry up for couples therapy to sort out their relationship. Deacon kidnaps a witness, who was previously a member of a tech team who sold him out of his idea. Barry and Wally go to save him, but Deacon uses his abilities to send Barry’s suit haywire. On Iris’s instructions, Barry throws lightning at himself, shorting out his suit. He then incapacitates Deacon, who is locked up in the meta wing of Iron Heights, revealed to be part of the Thinker’s plan. Cisco finally goes out with Gypsy. Wondering how Deacon gained his powers being absent during the particle accelerator incident, Barry and Joe learn from Deacon that there are “others”. Help out the show! ARROW NEWS: Spoiler Room: Scoop on The Flash, Once Upon a Time, Supergirl, and more (Date: 10 Feb 2017) Will Oliver find out what's really going on with Felicity on Arrow soon? — Not for several episodes, but you may be surprised by his reaction. “He knows that she's into something, and he knows that she doesn't want to tell him about it, so he's dealing with that in his own way,” Stephen Amell tells me. “For Felicity, it's not something that she and Oliver discuss until they have what is actually an adult conversation about it in [a future episode].” Did you get any Flash scoop on Killer Frost? — When asked how Cisco would try to help Caitlin quell her Killer Frost tendencies, Carlos Valdes dropped a truth bomb: “Caitlin has some secrets of her own that are going to come to light and are going to change not just the dynamic of the team, but also her own feelings about her dynamic within the team,” he says. “It all comes to a head.” Make of that what you will. So why is Vigilante trying to kill Mayor Oliver Queen? Fans will find out on March 1, when the DC antihero returns to menace city hall. Synopsis: Oliver (Stephen Amell) faces his biggest challenge yet as mayor. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) continues down her dark path with Helix. "I'm old, so what does this mean? It means that I grew up on St. Elsewhere and Picket Fences and LA Law. I grew up in a time where it was commonplace, like literally every week, for a one-hour drama to tackle the issues of the day. Somewhere along the line we got away from that -- like, the whole industry got away from that. And now you've got like Blackish and Carmichael Show, but as far as network dramas are concerned? Really not tackling current events, current issues. So we went into season 5 with the desire to. It's the fifth season; we've hopefully earned the freedom to, in 23 episodes of television, you can have 22 episodes of candy and one episode of vegetables. We sort of felt that gun violence felt like the right topic, because of its topicality but also because of the level of gun violence that's on Arrow. We could have done an episode on abortion, but that's not really where the show lives, so gun violence sort of felt like the right thing to tackle." Where's Thea?' Willa's [contracted for] 14 out of 23 episodes this year,” Guggenheim revealed. “She's not in all 23. That's not her contract. We've had to write around that.” Contractual matters also may prove a hurdle in bringing Katie Cassidy back for another encore as one Laurel or another, even though Cassidy (as reported over the summer) entered the season with one of those #DCTV-wide deals that theoretically would allow her to pop up on Arrow or any of its many offspring. “We have an idea for how to see [Katie] again, but we haven't made a deal with her,” Guggenheim shared. “She's not a series regular anymore, so we have to make a contract with her, and she's got to be available. We haven't had those conversations. But… we know exactly what we do want to do. Link:http://tvline.com/2017/02/13/arrow-season-5-katie-cassidy-contract-status-willa-holland/ Will Arrow Bring Back Suicide Squad Characters? Here's What David Ramsey Says (Date: 13 Feb 2017) David Ramsey recently spoke with CinemaBlend about all things John Diggle, and he told me this about Digg's future with the Suicide Squad on Arrow: “I can say that we have all the elements. Part of what John Diggle brings to the team is his relationship with ARGUS through his wife Lyla. We're waiting to see how that plays itself out. Diggle was freed last week, and Oliver said to him 'You can go home and hug your wife and son.' So that's a real viable part of Diggle that we have always seen on camera, but it would be nice to see more because he's married to the leader of the Suicide Squad. What does that play out? How does that look? What are those conversations like? We have all the elements of it... I think we have the makings of it. ARGUS is a real viable part of our whole universe, of Legends, Flash, and Arrow. And Diggle just so happens to be married to the leader of ARGUS, so it's right there ready for the picking.” Link:http://www.cinemablend.com/television/1624570/will-arrow-bring-back-suicide-squad-characters-heres-what-david-ramsey-says Arrow EPs Tease Thea's Role Going Forward in Season 5 (Date: 15 Feb 2017) "She's headed in a direction that's very similar to where her mother was before she was killed in Season 2. We're excited about it." revealed Wendy Mericle. "I'm actually really excited about her storyline because we're taking her to a place where she's been dealing with all of these issues the same way Oliver has, with her bloodlust and with her other elements of her past. And this season's going to find her in a similar place but for very different reasons. There's gonna be a great scene coming up between Oliver and Thea that's one of my favorites on the show." Link:http://comicbook.com/2017/02/16/arrow-thea-queen-willa-holland-season-five/ Arrow EP Teases Prometheus's Next Move (Date: 15 Feb 2017) According to one of the show's executive producers, however, that is all about to change with next week's episode, entitled 'The Sin-Eater'. Marc Guggenheim recently revealed that not only will the villain appear in the February 22nd episode, but his past actions will start to connect. Guggenheim wants fans to keep an eye out for the conclusion of the episode, as it will particularly reveal parts of the villain's motive. "The episode ends, I think, with sort of the next key move in Prometheus' grand plan." "And you'll start to see, actually – and this is true in next week's episode, in episode 14 – Thea's going to make a good case to Oliver, of all people, for all the things he's accomplished as mayor, and you start to see like, oh wait, in the first 13 episodes, he actually kind of did some stuff. And he's not done yet. Obviously, the season's not done yet. But we definitely went into the season with the goal of showing that Oliver is actually much better at this job than you might expect." He constantly finds himself toe-ing the line between what's right and wrong. According to Marc Guggenheim, Oliver is going to continue that struggle throughout this season. Not only will the rest of this season see Oliver explore that struggle, but the show will also explore what that means for Arrow's entire world. "One of the things we are doing in the back half of Season 5 is really getting underneath that and what that means, not just in terms of morality but in terms of psychology -- specifically Oliver's psychology. There's things about Oliver's killing that you have yet to learn." However, The CW series is taking a slow burn approach to that, but she finally gets a mask in these new images. Snapped on the streets of New Westminster, a city just southeast of Vancouver, the images reveal rows of 1940s-era automobiles, as well as actors Jesse L. Martin, Victor Garber and John Barrowman in period attire. According to Hollywood North.Buzz, the scenes were to involve car chases with gangsters, but no singing. (Date: 16 Feb 2017) The CW has now released a new batch of photos from "Attack on Gorilla City," including the first two images of Solovar. As you can see, Solovar — who is being voiced by Keith David (The Thing, Community) — is being depicted as a giant, white gorilla. That's a noticeable departure from his comic book counterpart, who looks like a regular gorilla but wears a fancy red cape. Created by writer John Broome and artist Carmine Infantino, Solovar made his first appearance in The Flash #106 alongside Gorilla Grodd and Pied Piper. That's all set to change with a crossover between the Batman and Flash titles, with Tom King, Jason Fabok, Joshua Williamson, and Howard Porter all set to put the world's greatest detectives on a path to find out the significance of that blood-stained smiley face. The crossover begins April 19 in Batman #21. He also teased Dig's friendship with Dinah Drake, the new Black Canary, as well as the looming threat of General Walker and Team Arrow's visit to Russia. About his role in the team, he said, “He's a serviceman. He's a soldier. He's the guy who lays on a grenade. So that's what he immediately gets to. He gets to helping Dinah. He gets back to helping the team. He sees that Felicity is compromised, and he calls her on it immediately. Before he gets back out on the field — which he does! — we'll see him kind of getting back to service, of being a help, which is in the best possible way I could say that… but the moral help, I should say. The moral compass. And the team needs it. When he comes back, the team needs it. Dinah needs it, and Felicity particularly needs it.” Link:http://www.cbr.com/arrow-david-ramsey-spartan-black-canary-dinah-drake-general-walker-russia-felicity-bratva-prometheus-interview/ GENERAL DC TV NEWS The JSA Returns In This Synopsis For LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 2 Episode 12: "Camelot/3000" (Date: 03 Feb 2017) ALL FOR ONE — The Legends continue their quest to hunt down the Spear of Destiny before the pieces fall into the hands of the Legion of Doom. Variety reports Greg Berlanti's “Black Lightning” just received an official pilot order from the network. According to the report, The CW will stagger their superhero programming throughout the year to avoid scheduling five straight nights of supehero series. “I don't think so,” Berlanti said at the time. “If we're lucky enough that that exists, that that show exists, I don't think those worlds will cross over.” However, seeing as the pilot has just shifted from Fox to The CW, it's hard to rule anything out. The set photos depict not only Criss but also Keiynan Lonsdale as Kid Flash, David Harewood as Martian Manhunter and Carlos Valdes as Vibe. Disappointingly, the eclectic cast of Legends of Tomorrow hasn't been included here. However, we didn't know that she would return in another future episode (or perhaps just stick around after the Grodd episode) and confront the god of speed. But thanks to some reworking of The CW's schedule, the finale episode will air the following Tuesday, April 4th. The most interesting thing about this is that Legends will air in The Flash's timeslot on April 4th, and will be followed by the third season premiere of iZombie. They call it Versus, where they pit one character against the other. But instead of something like Super Hero Beatdown where we see the actual fight, this is more giving the histories and strengths of the characters and letting the fans decide. For their first episode they've decided to pit the Emerald Archer versus the Scarlet Speedster. Link:https://www.bleedingcool.com/2017/02/05/green-arrow-vs-flash/ DC Rebirth Returned… A Lot (Date: 06 Feb 2017) On the official monthly statistics, Diamond reduces the statistical data of comics that have been designated returnable, by 10%. This indicates that Diamond expect a certain amount of returnability, but not that much. Well, it seems that DC Comics seems to have overdone it this time. They made the first six issues of all the DC Rebirth twice-monthly launch comics returnable, more than ever before. Ostensibly to allow retailers to find a ceiling limit on sales to customers, to not have to order conservatively, and to be confident in ordering big. Which has allowed certain titles that had slipped away in recent years, specifically Superman and Flash, to find an appreciative audience. However, there is a cost for that kind of thing. And while sales of DC Comics are also up, so is the returnability, at record high levels, and something DC and Diamond didn't anticipate. Which is why those pallet photos are meant to be quite a revelation. Could this be why the Diamond 2016 end-of-year statistics have been so delayed? Damn Justice Society of America (JSA) Obsedian Commander Steel Dr. Mid-Nite Stargirl Legion of Doom Damien Darhk Is the one who supplied the Nazis with uranium Recognizes Sara's fighting style Germans want him to get another bomb, reveals his partner wants to move on Eobard Thawne / Reverse-Flash Revealed at end to be Darhk's partner Malcolm Merlyn CURRENT EPISODE DC EASTER EGGS & POP CULTURE REFERENCES Season 02 Episode 01 “Out of Time” (Date: 13 Oct 2016) Article:http://comicbook.com/dc/2016/10/13/dcs-legends-of-tomorrow-things-you-might-have-missed-in-out-of-t/ Out of Time - As has been the case a lot in the first couple of weeks of The CW's TV season, the episode's title -- "Out of Time" -- is a bit of a reference in and of itself. It's likely been the name of a number of time travel-related stories -- but most recently, it was the name of a story that ran through The Flash #30-35 (from the 2011 series) and featured, among other villains, The Reverse-Flash. The fact that the final moments of the episode incorporate the "surprise" appearance of Eobard Thawne, then, suggests this could have been a more-than-incidental use of the name. OLIVER QUEEN - Oliver Queen, seen wearing a suit and not in his Green Arrow costume for the purposes of this season finale, is played by Stephen Amell. The star of Arrow, Oliver is generally considered the genesis point for The CW's DC Universe (even though they obviously had Smallville and Birds of Prey long before Arrow came along). Amell's Green Arrow appeared in the series premieres of both The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow, so this episode more or less continues a tradition. NATE HEYWOOD - Nick Zano joins the cast as Nate Heywood -- "Citizen Steel" -- who in the comics inherits the powers and costume of his grandfather. He's a troubled individual, suffering from both physical and emotional damage, in the comics -- but as Zano told ComicBook.com at Comic Con International: San Diego, that's not the direction they're going with Heywood on TV. THE THREE MUSKETEERS - Cardinal Richelieu, depicted as one of the villains of Alexandre Dumas' The Three Musketeers, being included in this episode more or less cements the idea that they look like that on purpose -- and explains why certain characters who were strategically important in the fight -- like Jax, for instance -- had to stay out of sight. REX TYLER - Rex Tyler, the Golden Age Hourman and a veteran member of the Justice Society of America, is one of a number of DC heroes who would pass on his name and legacy numerous times over the decades to come in the comics. On TV, he made a single, brief appearance at the end of the season 1 finale of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and will show up again -- with the rest of the Justice Society this time -- in next week's episode as well. DAMIEN DARHK - Damien Darhk was the season four big bad on Arrow. Like Ra's al Ghul, he's a very old man who has been kept relatively young by the Lazarus Pit because of his position of power and authority first within the League of Assassins and later in H.I.V.E. Originally created as a villain in The Titans, Darhk's control of H.I.V.E. made him an ideal choice when The CW decided to introduce a magical villain last year. He was nearly unbeatable until Oliver figured out how to manipulate Darhk's energy to his own ends, and now he's dead -- except that as somebody who's been not only alive, but rich and powerful for decades, he's surprisingly easy for a time-traveling troublemaker to find and recruit. ALBERT EINSTEIN - First of all, he's appeared in DC Comics before. In an oversized issue Superman vs. Wonder Woman, Nazis went after Einstein in 1942. Ultimately, Wonder Woman rescues him but ends up finding out about the Manhattan Project. After becoming a person of interest for a while and throwing down with Superman a bit, she ends up teaming up with the Last Son of Krypton to track down and defeat Baron Blitzkrieg. Secondly, the thing with his wife is actually based in historical controversy. Mileva Marić was a Serbian physicist and has long been rumored to have coauthored Einstein's 1905 paper on relativity. INSULTING RAY - Calling him a "boy scout" feels like a nod to Brandon Routh's time as Superman, but the whole "what are you without that suit?" reeks of Marvel's The Avengers. That's a comic book movie reference twofer! REVERSE-FLASH - Eobard Thawne, the Reverse-Flash, may have something up his sleeve. At the end of The Flash's Season 3 premiere earlier this month, he said that while his future was as it should be, Barry's might not be. Barry then went home to discover a number of small anomalies that made his life and those of his friends worse. Now, we learn that "somebody" is outfitting the villains of history with future tech in order to push the world to a slightly worse place. Could Eobard Thawne have stepped right out of "Flashpoint" and into "Out of Time?" Either way, seeing him and Darhk together is enough to make seasoned Arrowverse fans quake in their boots even before they know the other members of Thawne's little Legion of Doom. ARROW NEWS New Arrow trailer reveals Laurel Lance twist (Date: 03 Jan 2017) Laurel is the Black Siren. Promo is from EW.com. Arrow returns Wednesday, Jan. 25 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. Link:http://ew.com/tv/2017/01/03/arrow-laurel-lance-black-siren-video/ Diggle is Making a new friend! (Date: 04 Jan 2017) Wendy Mericle told TVLine: “Diggle emerges from jail with a much bigger drive, and not the same fatalism that he had earlier in the season. He's going to come up against Colonel Walker and grow closer to Adrian Chase.” Guess having a good lawyer on his side in the form of the DA, as well as Vigilante, will help! Link:https://www.bleedingcool.com/2017/01/04/john-diggle-makes-new-friend-arrow-returns/ Talia to play a crucial role in the Prometheus arc! (Date: 04 Jan 2017) * Speaking with TV Line, Mericle called the Prometheus mystery "a gift that keeps on giving for the rest of the season," adding that it will be Ra's al Ghul's daughter, Talia al Ghul, who plays a "crucial part" in helping Oliver solve the Prometheus mystery. * Stargate SG-1 actress Lexa Doig was recently cast to play the DC TV version of Talia on Arrow Link:http://comicbook.com/2017/01/04/arrow-talia-al-ghul-prometheus-connection/ com's Five predictions for the second half of S.05 (Date: 05 Jan 2017) Guys, do we agree or disagree: 1. Laurel will drive a lot of the story in the second half of the season 2. The Prometheus story will heat up 3. Talia will appear in the present (she's only been in flashbacks so far) 4. The Arrow v. Vigilante fight will boil over into city hall (in politics) 5. Reforming and coming back to the Original Team Arrow is the endgame (Oliver, Felicity, Diggle) Link:http://comicbook.com/2017/01/05/arrow-five-predictions-for-remainder-of-season-5/ GENERAL DC TV NEWS FIRST CLIP FROM KEVIN SMITH'S SUPERGIRL EP SHOWS CASUAL, QUIPPY TONE (Date: 27 Dec 2016) After directing an episode of season two of “The Flash,” Kevin Smith is returning to the CW to direct an episode of “Supergirl”. There's one big development that's revealed in the clip: Mon-El finally got a job! He's working as a bartender, which makes a lot of sense given his party-boy Daxamite background. True to form though, he's not great at fetching club soda for Kara, preferring to serve her something brown and boozy. Despite the fact that he saves the Flash's life, Barry is none too happy with his protégé, and brings him to task for doing instead of observing and learning like he was supposed to.The clip also teases the introduction of another villain from the comics, with Wally bragging about how he put Plunder into Iron Heights. Plunder was previously shown in a season three episode in a news report, wearing an eye patch. Link:http://www.cbr.com/tense-flash-clip-finds-barry-and-wally-at-odds/ New Legends Of Tomorrow trailer Features Legion Of Doom (Date: xx month year) * The CW Television Network has just dropped a brand new trailer for the second-half of the second season of DC's Legends of Tomorrow. * It begins with Nate and Ray mentioning for the first time that Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher), Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) and Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) are member of the Legion of Doom — though White Canary doesn't want to call them that. * We also learn, from a Sara-Jax exchange, that the Legion have Rip Hunter. * Lots of great action! Link:http://comicbook.com/2016/12/24/new-legends-of-tomorrow-trailer-features-legion-of-doom/ Jeremy Jordan Talks Winn's Evolution on Supergirl (Date: 02 Jan 2017) Jeremy Jordan discusses with Comicbook.com how Winn is developing from last season now that he is with the DEO instead of CatCo. "I think that Winn has become a foil for the audience in terms of how he's giving us the fanboy reaction play by play, and that's a really fun, exciting aspect of Winn to play," Jordan said. "That's 'old Winn.' That who Winn has always been at his core. At the same time, Winn is growing up and learning to guard himself and learning to protect his friends and he kind of becomes a little bit of the sage advice-giver this season, whether he's giving advice to Alex or cautioning James to take it easy. I think he's learned a lot from Cat and he's learned a lot from his experience in the past year or so and it's forced him to grow up a lot." It seems pretty clear that Johns' return to writing a DC comic will involve the Watchmen characters that were behind the Rebirth event. But will that be a new series exclusively focusing on those characters or are we looking at another crossover event? There's still a lot of mystery surrounding Ozymandias and Doctor Manhattan's role in Rebirth so the safe bet would be another event series continuing on from where Rebirth left off. As far as a new DCTV series is concerned, will it be airing on The CW, Fox, Syfy or some other network? And with the large number of DC characters already appearing on the various shows, will it be another spinoff series? Kara still has to figure out how she feels about him." * The fact that we now know Mon-El is hiding a possibly nefarious secret will also have to be addressed, with Adler acknowledging, "A lot of secrets have been brewing this season," and that as season 2 gets into its latter half, "We'll get definitive answers." Barry learns of multiple changes to the timeline: Iris has not forgiven Joe for concealing that her mother was alive, Cisco is angry with him for not altering the timeline to save his brother Dante from being killed, and he has a new CSI partner, Julian Albert, who does not like or trust him. Barry decides to travel back to fix the damage, but he is intercepted by Jay Garrick. Jay tells Barry that the timeline never resets exactly and he has to learn to live with his mistakes. Meanwhile, Clariss has visions of "Flashpoint" and locates the person responsible, Alchemy, who restores Clariss' powers and full "Flashpoint" memories. Barry tells the team about the timeline's alterations before confronting Clariss at an abandoned warehouse. Alchemy is there as well, saying that he is "preparing this world" for a future event. Cisco arrives and helps Barry defeat Clariss, who is then incarcerated in Iron Heights. The team determines Alchemy is creating other metahumans from "Flashpoint" whom they need to track down. Cisco and Barry reconcile, as do Iris and Joe. Caitlin is secretly revealed to have gained cryokinetic powers. Barry and Iris begin dating, while Clariss is killed by an unseen creature with a metallic arm in his cell.

Episode Description: A woman with the ability to teleport to any location she can see breaks into Iron Heights prison to free her boyfriend, Clay Parker. Barry finds residual DNA particulates all over the scene and when analyzing it at S.T.A.R. Labs the team identifies the woman as Shawna Baez. To help Barry’s investigation, Henry Allen tracks down leads in Iron Heights and finds out that Clay owed money to a local crime boss, who was also planning a major heist. Barry learns the location of the heist, finding Shawna and Clay robbing an armored truck. Barry is able to capture Shawna after removing all the lights in a tunnel, effectively making her unable to teleport without being to see where she is going. Cisco goes to Hartley to find out more about Ronnie; Hartley reveals that Dr. Stein, who developed research into a F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. project focused on transmuting elements, was at S.T.A.R. Labs the day of the explosion. Hartley reveals that during the explosion Ronnie and Dr. Stein merged, before he escapes Cisco’s custody. Later, Barry and his father discuss the Flash, with Henry insinuating that he believes Barry is the Flash. Elsewhere, two city workers are attacked by Gorilla Grodd in the city’s sewer system. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) decides that she and Barry (Grant Gustin) need to move on from Ronnie (guest star Robbie Amell) and Iris (Candice Patton) and find new loves so she takes him for a night out at the local karaoke bar. Caitlin doesn‘t have any luck making a love connection but Barry meets Linda Park (guest star Malese Jow), a sports reporter for the Central City Picture News, and asks her out on a date. When Barry tells Iris he has a date, Iris is surprised by her reaction. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Ramon) considers Hartley‘s (guest star Andy Mientus) dangerous offer and the team searches for Shawna (guest star Britne Oldford), a meta-human with teleportation powers, who just busted her boyfriend Clay (guest star Micah Parker) out of Iron Heights. When Henry (guest star John Wesley Shipps) snoops around in an attempt to help Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Barry solve the crime, he ends up in the infirmary after getting roughed up by inmates.
In this first transmission of season 1 of The Flash, Miss Ice and The Shadow waste no time in getting down to business. Almost immediately, several questions and Easter eggs are laid down for the future of this show. Barry's mother was murdered when he was 11 and his father was arrested immediately and convicted for her murder. Now in Iron Heights for 14 years, Barry is still determined to uncover the truth, being the only one who believes in his father's innocence. He is adamant that there was someone else in the living room with him and his father that fateful morning, a ball of light. Or...were there two balls of light? The Shadow and Miss Ice are pretty certain they see two distinct blurs, one yellow and one red, very reminiscent of Flashpoint Paradox. And yet, Barry tells the gang at S.T.A.R. Labs that he saw a man inside the light (singular man). The Shadow lays down a great theory that we might wait the whole season, if not multiple seasons, to uncover in its entirety. What is your theory? Who are the two balls of light and why did their presence end with the death of Nora Allen? Read more...
