Nostradamus Consulting founder Julian Green speaks to Thomas Warner from Proactive London after a 2023 he describes as a "good year" for the business, highlighting a £1mln investment and an expansion of the client base, which includes prestigious names like Thomson Reuters and Intuit QuickBooks. Green also highlights that 2023 was the company's first profitable year, an achievement he attributes to their robust client base and efficient service delivery, which will be further enhanced with the new funding. He goes on to provide some more context, saying that the company's journey began in 2021 with the development of their first product, guided by Professor Andrew Tucker. A significant expansion of their tech team, including the appointment of Daniel Singer, former global head of Kantar Analytics, and data engineer Girish Janin, has bolstered their capabilities. This team is set to refine their data sourcing and curation, ensuring a dynamic and engaging product. Looking ahead to 2024, Green outlines three primary objectives: product improvement, commercialisation, and scaling into new industry verticals such as energy, financial services, EQ healthcare, and online gaming. He says Nostradamus' USP lies in leveraging artificial intelligence and data analytics to provide tangible ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance metrics, catering to evolving industry needs. Green concludes by identifying their ideal clients as strategy and competitive intelligence professionals, underscoring their ability to deliver superior and faster results through technology and human oversight. #JulianGreen #NostradamusConsulting #TechStartups #InvestmentSuccess #ProfitableBusiness #ClientExpansion #InsuranceIndustry #Fundraising #EISscheme #TechnologyInnovation #AIandDataAnalytics #ESGmetrics #FutureTrends #DataSourcing #Commercialization #IndustryGrowth #StrategyDevelopment #CompetitiveIntelligence #FinancialHealth #BusinessInterview #2023BusinessTrends #TechIndustryInsights #ProactiveInvestors #consulting #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

A young student journalist and her friends travel to a small town in Central Florida to collect documentary footage about the Skunk Ape (aka The Wild Man or Bigfoot), a legendary local monster who they believe is behind the disappearance of many young women. Over the course of several days, the students interview townspeople and gather clues to support the tale's veracity. Many believe these disappearances are connected to the notorious Skunk Ape, while many others think it's all nothing but a tall tale. At first, the group is hopeful, especially when a local acts as a guide through the dark swamps for them. But the project takes a frightening turn when the students lose their way in the woods and begin hearing horrific noises. As the days wear on, a visit from a menacing presence soon makes them realize that the legend may be all too real, and more sinister than they could have ever imagined.   Screens at Popcorn Frights Film Festival August 16-19, 2021 Director: Ryan Justice Writer: Sean Michael Gloria & Ian Longen Cast: Lauren Crandall, Julian Green, Mike Reed   ANNOUNCEMENT Decades of Horror The Classic Era is partnering with THE CLASSIC SCI-FI MOVIE CHANNEL which will now include video episodes of The Classic Era! As chief scout for the USMNT under Bruce Arena, Thomas Rongen was responsible for keeping tabs on potential US internationals, including 18-year-old midfielder Jonathan Gonzalez, who chose this week to represent Mexico instead of the US. In this episode of Dummy, Thomas talks about the process for making contact and building relationships with players who have the option to represent multiple countries, which is something he did during the past year but also as head coach of the US U-20 team from 2006 to 2011. He has helped find and recruit players like John Brooks, Bobby Wood, Julian Green, Mix Diskerud, Terrence Boyd, Jerome Kiesewetter, and others—and his thoughts on why Bobby Wood is still a big part of the national team while Julian Green’s career has stalled are especially interesting. Following a historic trip to Havana for the US national team’s first friendly on the island since 1947, MLSsoccer.com’s own Arielle Castillo returns to tell her story. The people, the architecture, the food, the vintage cars, the bureaucracy – the stories are as colorful as the country itself, and you won’t want to miss out on her travel diaries. Oh, and of course there was a game to play as well. Julian Green impressed, Chris Wondolowski silenced some doubters and Ethan Horvath got a shot. There’s also a Tuesday friendly against New Zealand to preview after Jurgen Klinsmann juggled his roster.  In the second segment, Ben ‘The Research’ Baer gets on the mic to help David and Andrew preview the week to come in MLS. The Rapids control their own Supporters’ Shield destiny, and are making history at home. Meanwhile, Seattle and Houston clash on Wednesday with the Sounders aiming to make Ben eat his words. Finally, a word of warning for playoff teams who miss out on a home game or fail to finish in the top-two spots.  The mailbag has CONCACAF fever, both of the CCL and World Cup qualifying variety. Nick Rosano, our very own CONCACAF expert, joins to walk you through the proposed changes to both being floated in the media.

The season is rapidly approaching, but first come the preseason tournaments. Andrew is headed to Charleston. Where is the best February vacation for MLS fans? That's based on the guys' conversation with Rapids Sporting Director Padraig Smith, who is at the forefront of the performance analytics movement. In the second segment, the USMNT and USSF get the spotlight. First, after the Hall of Fame inductions, who would go on your American soccer Mount Rushmore. Then, are you seriously still talking about fitness? Yep, as Jurgen Klinsmann "clarified" things on Monday. Finally, Julian Green finds himself in a tough situation. That can't be good. With MLS still getting into the swing of things, Jurgen Klinsmann and the US national team are stealing all the headlines as the Americans winless streak starts to get attention. Klinsmann says fitness is to blame for a 3-2 loss against Chile, but what about the game before that? The guys dig and talk it through. Could the USMNT boss' job be in trouble if the slide continues? Opinions are split. In the second segment, it's all MLS all the time. In Toronto, Giovinco arrived at the airport to a massive welcome party? When has that happened before? And, more importantly, will he finish the 2015 season as the league's biggest star? Or will Kaka take that title? Or David Villa? Or Steven Gerrard? Maybe Frank Lampard? You get the picture. Plus, which MLS rumors are bogus and which have a grain of truth? In the mailbag, the guys decide a US Open Cup bracket has to go on the to-do list, wonder about the Rapids' new signings and ponder Julian Green's future career in MLS.
